Hello, everyone! Here is the third chapter of Kuroko's World Adventure! Kuroko and Momoi, and Kagami and Konori, must push past their limits if they hope to defeat Gadflow and Bask! Enjoy!
Chapter 3 - Light and Shadow
"He has the same eye… as Akashi-kun?!" Kuroko thought, still in shock of seeing the changed right eye of Gadflow.
"Does that mean… he can see the future?!" Momoi thought.
"Whatever move you try, my eye sees all." Gadflow said.
Kuroko gritted his teeth in mild frustration, but had to remain calm and not let Gadflow mess with his mind. Not especially when he also has to keep Momoi safe from harm.
"It doesn't matter if you can see the future. We won't stop until we defeat you!" Kuroko explained.
"Yeah!" Momoi hollered.
Kuroko and Momoi charged together with a battle cry, while Gadflow followed suit to intercept them head on.

Kagami dodged a thrust from Bask, and attempted a horizontal slash, but Bask blocked the slash with his halberd.
"Too slow!" Bask hollered.
Kagami growled and attempted to attack again, but Bask grabbed his sword and threw Kagami into another rock.
Konori fired some arrows at Bask that he smacked and swatted aside easily, forcing the girl to confront the large Tuatha with swordplay.
Bask and Konori were fairly even, but Konori was mostly dodging the best she could and hope to find an opening against the Tuatha.
She managed to thrust in the areas where he's unguarded, but it wasn't enough to completely hurt him.
"Those little stabs tickles, girly. Sad you're weak." Bask explained.
Konori gritted her teeth in frustration.
Kagami shoulder-tackled Bask to get him off Konori, then slashed Bask to the gut extremely hard and flew him into a rock.
Bask shrugged it off and saw the angry expression on Kagami's face.
"Oh, my. Didn't mean to insult her, boy." Bask said.
"Keep up the smart ass talk. It'll be more painful for you!" Kagami hollered, charging without hesitation.
"I'd love to see you try." Bask said.

"Earth Divide!" Siegfried shouted, slamming his massive sword that became ignited in fire downward on Alfred, but Alfred dodged easily with lightning reflexes.
"Dark Fire!" Alfred shouted, firing a dark flame blast from his sword towards Siegfried.
"Base Hold!" Siegfried shouted, using his sword to act as a shield to block the flames.
"Now eat this! Reborn Basher!" Siegfried shouted.
Siegfried charged forward with the flat front of his sword, hitting Alfred square on.
Alfred regained his balance, only for Siegfried to continue the attack and not relent with slashes from all sides.
Alfred was easily blocking every last attack and while he did got two slashes from Siegfried luckily founding openings, the Tuatha isn't breaking a sweat in his defense.
"Is this the power you have?" Alfred asked.
"I'm just getting started!" Siegfried replied.
Siegfried and Alfred continued clashing furiously without rest in swordplay. Neither side letting up as they're on equal footing. But Alfred soon saw his opening, and stabbed Siegfried in the right shoulder with his sword.
Siegfried grunted and attempted to keep fighting, but Alfred wasn't finished. He put his pointer finger straight at Siegfried's left shoulder.
"Black Ray!" Alfred said.
Alfred shot a ray of dark magic that pierced Siegfried's right shoulder hard.

Kuroko and Momoi quickly hid behind a rock after nearly getting blasted by Gadflow.
They're now at a disadvantage with Gadflow cornering them severely.
"This is getting bad." Momoi said.
"How are we gonna beat him? Even my Misdirection isn't working with his eye." Kuroko explained.
"He can see the future just like Akashi-kun. But I remember how you managed to overcome it." Momoi explained.
"Yeah. But without Kagami…" Kuroko said.
"Then let me do it. I'll distract him." Momoi explained.
Kuroko was a little shocked.
"But, Momoi-san… You-" Kuroko said, trying to dissuade on what the sorceress was planning.
"I know I can't beat him one-on-one. But I just need to keep him distracted long enough for you to make your move." Momoi explained.
"This is too risky." Kuroko said.
"We can't argue about this. This is our only chance!" Momoi hollered.
"But-" Kuroko said, only to be silenced by a warm and soft feeling on his lips.
That "warm" feeling came from Momoi's own lips on his.
The kiss was short, but it was very sweet and soothing. Kuroko and Momoi lightly blushed, the latter smiling.
"Just trust me. Okay?" Momoi asked.
Kuroko was stunned for words as Momoi left their hiding spot to confront the strongest member of the Dark Order.

"You two can't hide forever." Gadflow said.
"Fire Blast!" Momoi shouted, appearing in front of Gadflow while shooting a ball of fire from her staff.
Gadflow slashed the blast with one of his swords, only for Momoi to attack its her next move.
"Ice Shards!" Momoi shouted, shooting shards of ice from her staff at Gadflow, but Gadflow used his other sword to block the ice attack.
Gadflow attempted to slash Momoi, but she managed to dodge in the nick of time except for getting a small cut to her right cheek.
Momoi gritted her teeth and attempted to attack again.

Kagami was smashed to the ground by Bask; the latter's halberd thrusted straight through Kagami's abdomen, making the red-haired ace cough blood with the ground shattering.
Konori was also held in the throat by Bask with his free hand as he continued driving his halberd into Kagami.
"What's wrong, boy? Guess you couldn't protect this girl after all." Bask explained, in a cruel, mocking manner.
Kagami growled in fury as he struggled to break free. His sword stuck a few feet away from him. So he resorted to something unorthodox… biting on the halberd in an attempt to break it.
"First, I'll kill you slowly and painfully." Bask said.
"Then… I'll torture this poor girl to the worst kind possible." Bask continued, choking Konori much harder, making the girl struggle.
"Or even better… I'll make her mine." Bask finished.
The last sentence just made Kagami snapped, and without warning, a red burst erupted from Kagami and hit Bask, forcing the halberd-wielding Tuatha to let go of Konori, as he was on the ground away from them.
Kagami soon regained his sword and slashed Bask extremely hard; blood poured from Bask as he regained his footing.
Head lowered at first, Kagami slowly raised his head to reveal a new look in his eyes: the eyes of a starving beast hungry for the kill, sparking red electricity.
Bask suddenly felt a strange uneasiness.
"What the hell? Why is electricity flowing from this human's eyes?" Bask thought.
"Could it be… is he in the Zone?" Konori thought.
Kagami attacked with lightning speed, striking Bask before he could even defend himself.
"W-What the hell is he?! How could a mere human best me!" Bask thought, getting hit more and more by Kagami's increased strikes.
Bask attempted to strike Kagami, but Konori quickly came to his aid.
"Sword Rain!" Konori shouted, rapidly thrusting her rapier on the hand Bask his holding his halberd, effectively making said hand partially useless.
"You bitch!" Bask hollered, but Kagami was already in his face.
"I don't care who you are… no one hurts Konori!" Kagami hollered.
"Tiger Blade!" Kagami shouted, raising his sword upward before slamming his sword downward extremely hard, damaging Bask greatly.
Bask attempted to get back up, but without a moment to spare, Kagami slammed his sword straight into Bask's chest, effectively killing him as the Tuatha laid in shock.
Now completely out of the Zone once the battle's over, Kagami breathed heavily as his abdomen wound started kicking in, forcing him to put his hands on the wound.
"Hold still. I got it." Konori said.
Konori kneeled beside the tall ace and took out a first aid kit behind her back, using cloth bandages, a cotton ball and a bar of watery soap, lifting Kagami's shirt thanks to his open school shirt to see the bleeding, then used the cloth dapped with the soapy water to apply pressure to stop the bleeding.
Kagami flinched (and blushed heavily) as Konori managed to stop the bleeding and wrapped the cloth around his entire waist until completely wrapped and lifted the shirt back down.
"There. You should be fine now." Konori said.
"T-Thanks." Kagami said.
Konori began to lightly blush and thought about him defending her after what Bask said about her.
"I should be the one thanking you… Taiga." Konori commented.
Kagami looked at Konori in the eyes with surprise as the two stared at each other for a while. Blushing and letting their minds take course, the two slowly leaned forward for a kiss as their lips connected.

"Destruction!" Gadflow shouted, slamming his sword very hard on the ground, blasting Momoi to another nearby rock.
Momoi struggled to get up, but Bask already had one of his swords thrusted on her right thigh.
She attempted to scream, but had the will to suppress her screams to not let Kuroko know and let him charge recklessly. She had to keep good on her word to buy Kuroko time.
"I fought your counterpart before and I must say… you're far more disappointing." Gadflow explained.
Momoi struggled as she held her staff tightly, not letting go even if she gets her hands stabbed.
"Yeah… you're right about that." Momoi said.
"But you know what… planning means nothing without action." Momoi continued.
"And I think it's time for me to make my plan work!" Momoi hollered.
"Shine Blast!" Momoi shouted, activated her staff while closing her eyes.
Gadflow, with opened shocked eyes, was engulfed in the light and screamed in agony as he lost his eye sight.
Having been caught up in the spell despite having her eyes closed, Momoi fell to the ground exhausted with a smirk.
The light died down as Gadflow was now completely blind by the light's intensity.
"You little bitch! How dare you!" Gadflow hollered.
"Sucks to be you. So go… Tetsu-kun…" Momoi said, before falling unconscious.
Gadflow failed to notice that because of his blindness, Kuroko was able to sneak behind him with daggers ready to strike.
"Curses!" Gadflow thought.
"Vanishing Cross!" Kuroko shouted, attacking Gadflow with his Vanishing Drive and slashing in an "X" maneuver, dealing a critical blow to Gadflow that the hit managed to aim for the arms, cutting them off completely and slashing through the throat as well.
Gadflow's lifeless body fell down as Kuroko stood in victory.
But he became more concerned at seeing the unconscious Momoi. He quickly rushed over and kneeled down, gently lifting her up with his hands on her shoulders and his face a little close to her's.
"Momoi-san! Momoi-san!" Kuroko hollered, shaking her gently and tried to wake her up.
Momoi grunted as her eyes opened to see a worried-turned-relieved Kuroko, who almost had small tears ready to drop in his eyes.
"Thank god. I thought-" Kuroko said.
Momoi interrupted him by slowly placing her left hand on his left cheek.
"I told you to trust me." Momoi said.
"I did. You were really amazing." Kuroko commented.
Momoi blushed heavily and smiled gently, and without warning, she pulled Kuroko in for another kiss that this time was longer and full of passion and love.
Kuroko didn't need to resist as he returned her kiss with kindness. Momoi couldn't be any more happier as she was bursting with extreme excitement in her mind about finally kissing the man she fell in love with for so long.
"IT'S A DREAM COME TRUE! TETSU-KUN AND ME ARE TOGETHER NOW!" Momoi thought, a Chibi form of herself very joyful in a bright pink background with red hearts.
They soon released the kiss to regain their breathing.
"We should get going. There's still one more enemy to take down." Kuroko explained.
Momoi nodded in agreement.

Siegfried was now helpless on the ground as Alfred steadily aimed his sword at his throat.
"It seems you finally lose, Siegfried." Alfred said.
Siegfried grunted in pain.
"Once I kill you, I'll kill those children next." Alfred explained.
"They're threats to my race because they bare the legacy of their descendants that defeated us long ago." Alfred continued.
"But this time… I will be the victor!" Alfred finished.
"Guess what, scum… you won't win." Siegfried said.
"Such petty last words. Take them with you to the grave." Alfred explained.
Alfred prepared to finish off Siegfried, but in that moment, a blinding light appeared in front of them, forcing Alfred to back off.
The light disappeared, revealing Kuroko and Momoi, both now completely healed moments after their kiss and used a teleportation spell courtesy of Momoi to bring them here.
"Siegfried-san!" Kuroko hollered.
"Hang on! I'll heal you!" Momoi hollered.
Momoi activated a healing spell and healed all of Siegfried's wounds, allowing him to stand beside the two.
"Those two defeated Gadflow? Impossible!" Alfred thought.
"Well. Looks like you two got here first." Kagami commented, walking alongside Konori as they arrived as well.
"Kagami-kun! Konori-san!" Kuroko hollered.
"Aw man! I was hoping to be the first before you, Bakagami." Aomine said, having shown up alongside Kise.
"Oh, shut up!" Kagami exclaimed.
"Now, now, you two." Kise said.
"We can save the bickering for later, you imbeciles." Midorima said, appearing alongside Akashi and Takao.
"Sorry we're late too." Himuro said, appearing alongside Murasakibara.
"You guys! You're all okay!" Momoi hollered.
Alfred became surprised the humans came back after defeating his strongest forces.
"They defeated my Dark Order?! This is impossible!" Alfred thought.
"It's just Alfred now. Beat him, and going back to your home is a go." Siegfried explained.
"That simple, huh?" Murasakibara asked, wielding in both hands his war hammer.
"Sounds like a plan to me." Aomine said, twirling his battle axes.
"In a way, it does." Himuro said, holding his charkams close to him.
"I'm ready to party myself." Kise said, flexing his fists with the brass knuckles equipped to his hands.
"Fate will favor us the victors." Midorima said, slowly drawing an arrow with his bow ready.
"A prophet now, Shin-chan?" Takao teased, twirling his spear while keeping his shield at the ready.
"We've come this far. Let's see it through." Akashi explained, holding his sword in both hands.
"Time we finish this charade." Konori said, holding both her crossbow and rapier together.
"Yeah!" Momoi hollered, holding onto her staff.
"Ready, Kuroko?" Kagami asked, holding his larger sword in both hands.
"Always." Kuroko replied, holding both daggers together.
Alfred let out a breath before exerting a dark aura.
"Come on, humans! This shall be your last stand!" Alfred hollered.
The final battle between Kuroko and friends, and Alfred… begins now!

Only two more chapters to go! This chapter was special with the strong love chemistry between Kuroko and Momoi, and Kagami and Konori. Also, Siegfried's fighting style is based off the same character from the Soul Calibur series.
