Hello, everyone! Here is the fourth chapter of Kuroko's World Adventure! With Alfred as the final obstacle to going back to their world, Kuroko, Kagami and the others need to give it all they've got to win! Enjoy!
Chapter 4 - The Last Enemy
Kuroko and the others stood firmly as Alfred was preparing to strike. Now wanting him to have the first move, Kagami, Kise and Aomine charged ahead first.
Kagami raised his sword and slammed down on Alfred. But Alfred dodged and attempted to strike Kagami.
Aomine came to his defense and uses both axes to block the sword, but Alfred shot out a blast of magic that blew Kagami and Aomine back.
Kise charged and punched furiously, but Alfred dodged every punch and smacked Kise aside, just as Takao and Himuro charged forward.
Himuro threw his chakram blades in two separate directions before they closed in on Alfred, which he dodged by jumping with a backflip. Takao tired to thrust his spear upward, but Alfred, who just finished the flip, kicked the spear aside and slammed his sword toward on Takao's shield, making Takao skit back hard.
Murasakibara attempted to slam Alfred as he descended downward, but Alfred casted Dark Fire to blast the giant back, which also blasted Himuro and Takao.
Midorima shoot a few arrows as Akashi and Siegfried charged forward, entering a sword fight with Alfred once he landed back on the ground.
Alfred first slashed through the arrows like sticks then clashed fiercely with Akashi and Siegfried. The three were equally powerful swordsmen, but Alfred managed to get the upper hand by kicking Siegfried aside and grabbing Akashi and throwing him at Midorima, who didn't have time to dodge.
Kuroko, Momoi and Konori charged last together, with Kuroko and Konori on offense while Momoi kept her distance, using her magic with Fire Blast.
Kuroko and Konori attacked together, but Alfred wasn't fazed and dodged their weapons with ease, including the Fire Blast from Momoi.
Alfred then unleashed a Dark Wave that blast Kuroko, Konori and Momoi away.
"Pathetic. Is that the best you all can do after fighting my Dark Order?" Alfred asked.
Kuroko, Kagami and the others struggled to stand up a little.
"Dammit. Nothing's working." Aomine said.
"We need to combine our attacks all at once. That should give us a chance." Siegfried explained.
"It's possible…" Midorima said.
"We have to try." Kuroko said.
"Then let's do it!" Kagami hollered.
Getting up with a plan in mind, the group charged together. But Alfred remains confident in his power.
"Whatever you all have in mind won't work - it's useless!" Alfred hollered.
"Vanishing Cross!" Kuroko shouted.
"Tiger Blade!" Kagami shouted.
"Fire Blast!" Momoi shouted.
"Sword Rain!" Konori shouted.
"Swallow Blade!" Akashi shouted.
"Golden Fury!" Kise shouted.
"Sky Shot!" Midorima shouted.
"Hawk Thrust!" Takao shouted.
"Panther Slash!" Aomine shouted.
"Thor's Hammer!" Murasakibara shouted.
"Mirrage Shot!" Himuro shouted.
"Earth Divide!" Siegfried shouted.
All 12 combined their attacks on Alfred, resulting in a huge explosion that pushed everyone back.
"Did we get him?!" Aomine asked.
"That'd be too easy." Midorima said.
"Please don't jinx it, Midorima-cchi." Kise explained, in a worried tone.
"Afraid the 'jinx' is the least of your worries." Alfred said, appearing from the smoke as he walked… and very much unharmed.
Kuroko, Kagami, Momoi, Konori, Akashi, Kise, Aomine, Midorima, Takao, Murasakibara, Himuro and Siegfried were all very shocked.
"He survived all that?!" Konori exclaimed.
"So even a team attack didn't bring him down?" Himuro asked, in disbelief.
"I've played with you all for long enough. Time to wipe you all out." Alfred explained.
An intense magical force began to surround Alfred as the heroes stood in still shock.
"W-We can't move!" Kagami thought.
"It's like… the violent air is installing fear into us!" Akashi thought.
"Dammit! We won't be able to dodge in time!" Siegfried thought.
"This is the end for you all! Darkness Storm!" Alfred shouted.
Alfred released all the magical energy from his body and unleashed a massive shockwave that blasted everyone hard.
Smoke appeared from the aftermath, and once it's cleared, Kuroko, Kagami and all the others managed to survive by a miracle. But doesn't count they're severely injured from taking an attack that would've killed them.
"If Momoi-cchi, Takao-kun and Siegfried put up a strong defensive maneuver, we'd all be dead." Kise thought.
"It was impressive you all survived. But it doesn't matter." Alfred explained.
"You all lost this battle." Alfred continued.
"Just accept defeat and I promise to spare your lives." Alfred finished.
"Not a chance." Kuroko said, slowly getting up in defiance.
"We won't stop until we defeat you and go home. And that's a promise I intend to keep!" Kuroko hollered.
Everyone looked up to Kuroko in awe.
Especially Momoi, who blushed in happiness.
"Tetsu-kun!" Momoi thought.
"Foolish human. Words don't win fights." Alfred explained.
"Oh, shut up…" Kagami said, slowly getting up to stand beside his partner.
"We don't need words when all we need is action." Kagami continued.
"Besides… I never give up a fight wether it's basketball, or in a fight." Kagami continued.
"I'll never back down no matter what!" Kagami hollered.
Both Kuroko and Konori smiled brightly.
"Well if you two aren't giving up, then I won't give up either." Kise said, standing up third.
"Took the words out of my mouth. Can't let those two be showing us up." Aomine explained, being the fourth to stand up.
"We don't give up no matter the odds. That's how we roll." Himuro explained, being next to stand on his two feet.
"Jeez. Everyone's so getting worked up I can't really ignore it." Murasakibara explained, now the sixth person to stand.
"C'mon, Shin-chan. We can't let the others have all the fun." Takao explained, getting up now.
"As if we could stand lying on the job. Victory's already in our hands." Midorima explained, next to get up beside his partner.
"Looks like we'll have to keep coming at you until we beat you won't we?" Akashi asked, next to stand up besides the Generation of Miracles.
"Guys…" Kuroko said.
Alfred was now getting impatient.
"We can't let the boys have all the fun. Right, Momoi-chan?" Konori asked.
Momoi giggled in reply. "Got that right. We girls have to pull our own weight too."
Momoi and Konori stood up on their own and beside their friends.
Siegfried look on all 11 teens with pride.
"You kids." Siegfried thought.
Soon enough, Siegfried was the last to stand up.
"Seems they've made up their minds, Alfred. What do you have to say?" Siegfried asked.
Alfred was now angry as a dark aura surrounded him.
"Enough talk! It's time for you humans to die!" Alfred hollered.
"Let's finish this!" Siegfried hollered.
"YEAH!" Kuroko, Kagami, Akashi, Kise, Aomine, Midorima, Murasakibara, Takao, Himuro, Momoi and Konori shouted in unison.
The twelve charged at Alfred once again, and this time, they're holding the advantage to Alfred's shock.
"No way! They're overpowering me?!" Alfred thought.
"Give him everything we've got and hold nothing back!" Siegfried hollered.
"Yeah!" Kuroko, Kagami, Akashi, Kise, Aomine, Midorima, Murasakibara, Takao, Himuro, Momoi and Konori shouted in unison.
"Mirage Strike!" Himuro shouted.
"Thor's Swing!" Murasakibara shouted.
"Hawk Spear!" Takao shouted.
"Apollo's Arrow!" Midorima shouted.
"Wild Cutter!" Aomine shouted.
"Yellow Flash!" Kise shouted.
"Emperor's Blade!" Akashi shouted.
The Generation of Miracles, Takao and Himuro combined their strongest moves against Alfred, who couldn't block their attacks in time and took heavy damage.
"We got him!" Kise hollered.
"Now it's our turn!" Momoi hollered, charging alongside Siegfried and Konori.
"God Saber!" Siegfried shouted.
"Elemental Burst!" Momoi shouted.
"Moonlight Strike!" Konori shouted.
Siegfried, Momoi and Konori attacked next and gave Alfred more than he could handle, angering the Tuatha warlord further.
"I'VE HAD ENOUGH!" Alfred shouted, unleashing Darkness Storm once again and blowing not just them away, but also the Generation of Miracles, Takao and Himuro back to the ground.
"You humans could never defeat me! I'm the strongest!" Alfred hollered.
Siegfried smirked.
"And that's… why you'll lose…" Siegfried said.
Alfred's eyes widened when he realized both Kuroko and Kagami were standing in front of him, ready to finish him off.
"Impossible!" Alfred thought.
"Get him, you two!" Himuro hollered.
"Make him pay!" Murasakibara hollered.
"Hold nothing back!" Takao hollered.
"End this battle!" Midorima hollered.
"Don't mess this up, you idiots!" Aomine hollered.
"You two got this!" Kise hollered.
"This is your chance - don't waste it!" Akashi hollered.
"Finish it…" Siegfried said.
"GO~! TETSU-KUN/TAIGA~!" Momoi and Konori shouted in unison, cheering the hardest with Momoi rooting for Kuroko and Konori rooting for Kagami.
"This is…" Kuroko said.
"… the end!" Kagami hollered.
"Crimson Fang!" Kagami shouted.
"Phantom Strike!" Kuroko shouted.
Together, the Light & Shadow Combo unleashed their greatest moves to finish Alfred off, who couldn't dodge and was hit full on.
Alfred soon hit the ground on his back with his eyes rolled back and blood spilled from the attacks, indicating he's now dead and finally defeated.
Kuroko and Kagami panted hard, but gave their signature fist bump to show their victory.
Soon enough, they got hugged out of nowhere by Momoi and Konori, while the Generation of Miracles, Takao and Himuro cheered in success.
Siegfried looked into the skies and smiled.
"At long last… it's over." Siegfried thought.

"You're saying we can go home?!" Kagami, Momoi, Kise, Aomine and Takao exclaimed in unison.
"Now that Alfred's defeated, the magic he used to bring you all here will be undone immediately." Siegfried explained.
"Also, you'll have to leave the weapons with me - for safe keeping." Siegfried continued.
"Yeah, don't want to scare the folks back home." Takao said, handing over his spear and shield to Siegfried.
The others did the same until they were all weaponless.
A big magic circle began to envelop Kuroko and the others; Siegfried was outside the circle since it only affects the children.
"I can't thank you all enough that you risked your lives despite unfortunate circumstances." Siegfried said.
"Well, we are descendants of ourselves in this world." Aomine explained.
"Did Aomine-cchi speak nice?" Kise asked, in a teasing manner.
"Shut up!" Aomine exclaimed.
"It was a fun adventure." Takao said.
"Indeed." Himuro said.
"Now I'm extremely hungry." Murasakibara complained.
"Give it a rest, Murasakibara." Midorima said.
"We thank you, Siegfried." Akashi said, bowing.
"Have a safe life." Konori said, holding onto Kagami's hand.
Kagami grinned.
"And stay out of trouble if trouble doesn't find you first." Kagami explained.
"Isn't that funny coming from a guy who gets into too much trouble?" Kuroko asked, as he is holding onto Momoi's hand, who giggled.
"That's Kagamin for you." Momoi commented.
A red tick mark appeared on Kagami's forehead.
The magic circle glowed brighter as they were also ready to depart back to their world.
Kuroko and Siegfried gave one last look at each other and smiled with kindness. No words were needed to say goodbye at all.
The magic circle now enveloped Kuroko and the others as they vanished from this world completely.
Siegfried smiled once more before walking to parts unknown.
"Live your lives to the fullest, my friends." Siegfried thought.
At long last, the battle is finally over, and everyone is back to their world safe and sound.
Next time: Chapter 5 - Back Home at Last
At long last, Alfred's been defeated and everyone's going back home! One more chapter left and all the stories that lead up to the upcoming World Chronicles series will come to fruition. However, there will be one major announcement after the last chapter is announced. And yet again it's more changes due to new developments this year, so be ready.
