Chapter 7 Hello Ex

SDF HQ…

In the room, the major heads were gathered and ready to express grievances to Arrow Strike. They had some representatives of Arrow Strike come to speak with them. After a few moments a man in a suit came in.

Eric Crockett entered the room, three women and two men. That one with the long dark hair must be the infamous Nishizumi Shiho. With a confident grin he took his seat, he had two more coming to support him. Until then, he would hold the line. "Greetings members of the Sensha-Do Federation, I am Eric Crockett, head of Sponsorships here to talk on behalf of Arrow Strike, I have two more collogues coming, but we can began. So why have you requested a meeting?"

"Mr. Crockett you know very well why we have called you here," spoke Shiho.

"Oh, is it a possible partnership, or perhaps you want some of your Sensha-Do schools to have our Arrow Strike program," said Eric dancing the question.

"No Mr. Crockett," spoke Chiyo, "we demand that Arrow Strike stop its upcoming tankery program."

"Why, is there something wrong?" asked Eric dancing the question.

"Enough of your games American," said Renta.

"Sensha-Do is a game that helps girls mature into young ladies. It's a lady's sport," said Shiho.

"Taking our game is blasphemy. It is within our culture and we consider it an insult," said Chiyo.

"Therefore, this sport is exclusive to only Japan," said Renta.

*Knock**Knock*

"Come in," said Kamada.

The door opened revealing two men, one US Army and the other man was a US Marine. Shiho with her normally stoic face mouth dropped at the sight of the Marine. Out of all people, it couldn't be. The other members of the SDF had similar reactions it couldn't be.

"Captain Allen Dirk US Army," said Allen.

"Captain Tsuneo Asuka US Marine Corp," said Tsuneo, both men adorned in their service uniforms.

Ami Chono stood up immediately and gave them a salute as per protocol. Both men returned the salute.

After cutting the salutes, Tsuneo looked around the room, Kamada and Ami had a neutral but surprised expression. Renta the bastard was gritting his teeth. Chiyo had a surprised look. Shiho looked like she seen a ghost.

"Hello Shiho, long time to see," said Tsuneo.

"Tsuneo, you, where were you?" demanded Shiho pointing a finger.

"We shall talk later, I am here on business," said Tsuneo. Both men moved to take their seats.

"So where did we leave off?" asked Allen.

"Sensha-Do is only for young girls," said Chiyo.

"Oh that part, really," said Allen. Both men took their seats between Eric and putting their services caps on the table. "Have you all forgotten that your Sensha-Do is based off war?"

"No captain, we have not, but Sensha-Do is for helping young girls mature into women," said Chiyo.

"I really do not get where your idea of a game based off wat makes it feminine, what I do know is that it's unfair to young boys who wish to joined the armed forces. This will increase the pool of both the US Armed Forces and the JSDF," said Allen.

"Equality for all," said Tsuneo.

"There you go again with that same nonsense," said Shiho.

"Can we not argue here Shiho, as I said I am here on business," he reiterated. "Now going to America has only reinforced my belief. This is a practice in Sensha-Do that must come to an end," said Tsuneo.

"It will not, Sensha-Do is Japans," said Renta.

"We will stick to our traditions," said Shiho.

"Japans, really? If I recall the car belonged to America and yet Japans made it their own. You don't see America really complaining about it now do you," said Eric.

Shiho was about to counter the argument but then stopped midway as she realized she was about to be caught in a trap.

Chiyo and Renta were about to say something, but also stayed silent. After a few minutes, Eric broke the silence, "well if that's all you have to say on the matter," he began getting up with Tsuneo and Allen. "Then the talks are over, the SDF does not have any right to tell us what to do, you don't like it, too bad. I wish you all a good day"

"This meeting is over," said Allen. He been taking looks at Ami Chono, when he tried to get another look, he could see he was getting looks from her and a small smile. All of them were about to leave the room.

"Tsuneo," called Shiho making him turn around at the doorway. "We need to talk."

Eric and Allen looked back for Tsuneo. "You two go on ahead, this won't take long," said Tsuneo.

Shiho got up on her chair, "Follow me," she instructed. She took Tsuneo to another room with just the two of them.

In the room in an empty office, both of them stood across from one another. "Where have you been?" Shiho demanded.

"America, serving my new country" answered Tsuneo.

"I can see you still carry those same beliefs," said Shiho in an annoyed tone.

"If you don't like it that's too bad," said Tsuneo. "Besides you were the one who ended our marriage."

"You only had to drop that belief," argued Shiho.

"No, my beliefs are my own, as I told you all those years ago, boys are more than capable of operating a tank as girls can. It's been proven in war, and that's fact" said Tsuneo.

"War and Sensha-Do are separate," countered Shiho.

"It still based off war," said Tsuneo.

Shiho taken back tried to change the subject, "then stop Arrow Strike," said Shiho.

"You know I can't do that, I am under orders Shiho," said Tsuneo.

Shiho then pulled out a flyer, and showed it, "is this boy is your son?"

"Yes, he is, and I am very proud of him," said Tsuneo.

"Who was the woman?" asked Shiho.

"None of your business," said Tsuneo. "Speaking of kids, care to explain why our daughter Miho was wondering around the streets getting mugged on a rainy night?" demanded Tsuneo.

"What," said Shiho surprised Tsuneo found out about their second daughter, "what do you mean?"

"I ran into her on a rainy night with some friends and saved her life, I found out later that she was mine. The question that is hanging on my mind is why in the hell would her own mother kicked her out because she lost a damn match trying to save a lives," said Tsuneo beginning to angrier as he ranted on.

Shiho kept her usual stoic face, "she should have called."

"She would have if her own mother did not call her disgrace to the Nishizumi style," said Tsuneo.

Tsuneo after a few minutes to wait for his own anger to calm down. He decided then to change the subject, Shiho herself knew she was guilty but did not want to show weakness. "Shiho, how's Maho?"

"She's well, though I believe I made the right decision kicking you out of the family," said Shiho.

"Really, you know Shiho, keep up that cold demeanor and you may end up pushing everyone away in your so called way of running the Nishizumi style, just like you did with Miho," said Tsuneo.

"She only proved to me that she is not worthy of inheriting the style and also possibly the name," said Shiho.

"You are right and wrong about Miho, yes she won't inherit the style, but if she gets back into Sensha-do, she will find her own way. No, she will always be a Nishizumi, even if you take away the name, it's in her blood, that is something you can't takeaway," stated Tsuneo.

"She will not bring further embarrassment to the Nishizumi name," said Shiho, "and you will not change Sensha-do."

"It's going to happen Shiho, you can't stop Arrow Strike," said Tsuneo.

"I will find a way to stop Arrow Strike blasphemous tankery program," said Shiho as she moved towards the door and left.

Tsuneo just stood there, he was nervous the whole time, but kept his composure, it honestly went better than he thought, normally their be more yelling and heat. "Shiho, I do not wish for us to be enemies."

He then decided to leave, "Tsuneo-senpai," said Ami.

"Hello Ami, how you doing. So you became the head judge and a captain in the JSDF, congratulations," said Tsuneo extending a hand.

Ami shook his hand, "You did not hear anything did you?" he asked.

"None Senpai, just something I needed to tell you," said Ami.

"Hmm?"

"Be aware of Renta, he is already likely plotting against you," warned Ami.

"I'm aware of the snake, thank you for the heads up," said Tsuneo.

"One more thing Senpai, I believe Sensei still harbors some feelings for you," said Ami.

"What?" wondered Tsuneo.

"That is all Senpai," said Ami saluting in respect and Tsuneo returned it.

Tsuneo was now left to ponder, Shiho harbored feelings for him. He began to walk towards to exit i, did he also had some feelings for her still, he wondered. For now he must focus on the task of getting matches started. 'Hm, wonder how Miho is doing at her test today?' he thought.

Plane…

Miho was sitting inside the plane with a helmet and goggle on her lap. With her were several men, some from the JSDF and 101st Airborne. She knew they were high up in the air. Miho was nervous for this was the first time she jumped on her own.

"Nervous Miho?" asked Sargent Oliver.

"A little," admitted Miho.

"Well it's the first time jumping out on your own, just remember your emergency chute. The cord will be on your right. Remember your just hear to pass your skydiving test in case of ejection, as for me I just have to make sure the recruits and my boys can jump," said Oliver. "Listen if you're not ready to jump on your own, just stay on the plane."

"Hai," said Miho. Then the lights on the plane turned red.

"That's the signal, get ready to jump," he ordered the seven 101st and six JSDF recruits lined up.

The ramp in the back of the plane began to lower and open. Miho put on her helmet and goggles, then her parachute. Making sure she strapped them on properly. Oliver walked over to check Miho making sure her equipment was on right. "Your good Miho," said Oliver giving the thumbs up. "It's up to you whether you want to jump, good luck."

The light turned green and Oliver and the other sprinted and then jumped out of the plane into the blue skies.

Miho stood there, legs shaking. All she could see were the blue skies from 10,000 feet. She needed to jump to pass the test. Then drawing up on some courage she began to rush and then leapt into the blue sky.

She remembered some of the words of Ryan, that skydiving was falling with style. Remembering his advice of potential issues to be put in the back of the mind. Another question that pondered her was why Ryan loved to fly, his answer was it was freedom.

All around falling fast she could see the clouds, skies, and below the ground. The world looked so much bigger. She was taking the sight in well. She looked around and could see some soldiers nearby.

Miho kept falling and were now about 7,000 feet. She couldn't help but do flips, spins, or holding her arms. This was fun. She was approaching the mark at 5,500 feet. She noticed the soldiers began to deploy their parachutes. She straightened herself and then pulled the cord, deploying her parachute. Her Parachute deployed successfully and she was now slowly descending at 3,700 feet. She was not in the air that long, yet it felt like forever. She was coming close to the ground, she had the option to land on her feet and or butt. She had a good wind so she landed on her feet and came to a slow down before landing. After landing on her feet and the parachute was behind, as Ryan said, another happy landing.

Tsuneo's House…

Tsuneo was at his desk in his study finishing up paper work. No matter what you do, you cannot escape the paperwork. As he finished the last hiring paper, the phone on his desk rang.

He picked up the phone, "Hello?"

"Greeting Tsuneo."

Tsuneo immediately who it was, and it annoyed him greatly, "Renta, what do you want?" with some hostility.

"Why such hostility?" asked Renta.

"You shut down my mechanics division," stated Tsuneo.

"Oh, that was so long ago. Listen I got a proposition for you," said Renta.

"I'm listening," said Tsuneo, though he really wanted to knock his lights out.

"I hear that your son needs credits," said Renta.

"Yes," said Tsuneo annoyed, he did not like this guy.

"Well Ooarai Girls Academy is reopening their Sensha-Do team and the SDF will allow some boys to participate at this school's team," said Renta.

"What are you scheming this time?" asked Tsuneo suspiciously.

"Nothing, I just thought your son needs the credits, we all know Arrow Strike won't start matches until next year," said Renta.

Tsuneo was now stuck, he did not like this man at all. However, he promised his son he would find a way to get those credits, Sensha-Do would do, though he was still suspicious of this man, how was tis going to stop the tankery. "Very well, I'll send my kids to Ooarai," said Tsuneo begrudgingly, "One more thing does Shiho and Chiyo know?"

"No, but they will find out, good day Tsuneo," said Renta.

Tsuneo hung up the phone, he sighed but at least he would get his son his credits. At the same time he would keep Sensha-Do part away from Miho knowing she would transfer somewhere else. A part of him wanted her to do Sensha-Do again, but he would not force her. Plus he wanted to send all his kids to the same school anyways. He knew Ryan would jump on Sensha-do for the credits.

The door opened, "Hey Dad we're home," said Ryan.

"Ryan, Emma, good to see you both," said Tsuneo coming out of his study. "I got good news."

The door opened again, "I'm home," said Miho.

"Miho, just in time, I got a big announcement," said Tsuneo, "come have a seat on the couch."

They all took a seat on the couch with Tsuneo sitting across. "All of you are going to the same school," announced Tsuneo.

"Nani?" said Miho.

"What?" said Ryan.

"YEA!" yelled Emma. "We are going to school together." She wrapped one arm around Miho and Ryan.

"Dad I thought that was a girls school?" said Ryan.

"It was, I got a call saying they will accept a few boys," said Tsuneo.

Miho was stunned but a part of her was glad her half-brother would come. "What about living arrangements?"

"Oh you and Emma will room together and Ryan will have his own," said Tsuneo.

"Can you put us as neighbors?" asked Emma.

With a chuckle, "I'll see what I can do," he said rubbing his brow.

"By the ways Dad I have a question that Mom never answered for me, said I should be older, I think I'm old enough," said Emma.

"Sure Emma, what's your question?" asked Tsuneo.

"Um, how are babies made?" asked Emma.

Miho and Ryan mouth dropped. Tsuneo with a sweat had no idea how to answer this one. His face even turned a bit red. He did not know what to do, he looked around for a solution.

"I asked Ryan but he told me it was a stork, I didn't believe him that a bird could carry a baby," said Emma.

Tsuneo kept looking but noticed Miho mouth was dropped, he had a feeling she knew. He got out of his chair and walked up to Miho putting a hand on her shoulder. "Miho," he said.

"Eh?" yelped Miho having a bad feeling.

"Since this is a talk for um, young ladies, it would probably be best for you to explain," said Tsuneo.

"UM NANI!" said Miho.

"Emma, Miho will explain," said Tsuneo.

"Really you will Miho, why is your face turning red?" said Emma.

"Yes and while you two are talking about it, me and Ryan will get some takeout," said Tsuneo slowly backing towards the door with Ryan following. "Quick Ryan grab the keys!" he ordered.

"Yes sir!" said Ryan as both of them bolted like bats out of a fire out the door.

"Wait!" said Miho.

"So Miho, how are babies made?" asked Emma.

"Eh, Um, Um…" said Miho thinking where to begin exactly.

Tsuneo's House 30 Minutes Later…

The door opened and Tsuneo and Ryan came in with takeout Ramen. "Hey you two hope you're hungry," he announced.

He noticed that Miho was slouched in the chair, her eyes white and face beet red. Emma was laying on the couch, face red and eyes white, she looked dead.

"Um," Tsuneo walked over to the both of them trying to think of the words to say. "Why don't we get off this particular subject and have dinner."

"We brought Ramen tonight," said Ryan.

Miho and Emma immediately seem to get out of their trance.

"That sounds delicious," said Emma.

"Sounds good," said Miho.

They all sat down to have a meal together. "Daddy today me and Ryan saw a Scottish boy," said Emma.

"Really in the city," said Tsuneo slurping some noodles.

"Yea he was playing the bagpipes, me and Emma had to cover out ears because he played horribly," said Ryan.

"Really, and Miho do you have something to tell them," said Tsuneo.

Miho slurped some noodles, "Um, I am going to become a pilot and will participate in eh first tournament," announced Miho.

"You will," said Ryan. "You can join me, I'll show you the ropes do you have your license yet?"

"Not yet, I passed my ejection test," said Miho.

"Then all that is left is to pass your flight test and emergency landing test and you will have it," said Tsuneo as the entire family kept eating. Though Tsuneo wondered, what was Renta's scheme.

Tsuneo's House, Week Later…

It was morning and a big rental truck carrying some furniture and luggage. Tsuneo was helping Ryan load the last mattress. He was a bit sad that his kids would be away from him, but still, he knew they were growing kids and being away would give them good experience. A school carrier was a good way to do it. There first day of school will be tomorrow. "Alright all of you ready?" asked Tsuneo.

"Yea," said Emma.

"Hai," said Miho.

"Ready," said Ryan.

"Ryan you sure you can drive the Rental truck, you just got your license," said Tsuneo.

"I can handle it Dad, it's just like piloting my P-51, it's just slower," said Ryan.

"Alright then, follow me and keep up," said Tsuneo as he got in the pickup with Miho. Emma rode with her brother.

They dove off towards Ooarai, "Miho can you do me one favor?" asked Tsuneo.

"Yes?" asked Miho

"Look after them both, while Ryan will be fine mostly, Emma well you know," said Tsuneo.

"I will Otou-san," said Miho.

"Hm, that's my girl," said Tsuneo as he continued driving.

Hope you enjoyed this Chapter Ooarai starts next chapter. PM or write in the comments about what kind of plane should Miho have. I've narrowed it down to either German, Japanese, or a Corsair.
