Hey everyone, sorry for my absence of late, some sudden business came up that needed tending too. On top of that the Tornado hit my county right here in Georgia, everything was ok, but our internet service went down for some days. I hope to get the next chapter in by next week. Chapter 11 First Match
Practice Field…
Practice was getting ready to being, many of the teams were repainting their tanks. Miho was in aw, while Ryan was floored, seriously pink, that's not camouflage.
Saori with a pout, "we should've repainted, too!"
Yukari was grabbing her head with both hands, "The 38T! The Assault III! The M3! The Type 89! They've all become something else! Can you believe this?"
Miho began to laugh. No not noticing that Emma was moving around with a bunch of paint.
"Nishizumi-dono?" wondered Yukari.
"I could not imagine tanks being turned into something like this, but it's kinda fun. This is the first time I though tanks could be fun" said Miho.
"Miho you know that these colors won't help," said Ryan.
"I agree, plus pinks not a war color," said Jimmy.
"Says you!" exclaimed all the rabbits at once. Jimmy simply waving it off.
"The only time we should even think of repainting if it was sand or snow," said Ryan.
"Hey where's Emma?" said Bram.
Everyone looked around, "I'm here," said Emma her face and uniform full of paint marks.
"Emma why is all that paint on you?" asked Ryan.
"Oh I thought we could use a repaint, I could not decide on a color so I used them all," said Emma.
This made Ryan's eye twitch, they all ran around the corner to see the Pershing in a mess of colors, it was bad, though some may consider it art.
"Emma!" siad Ryan.
"What?" said Emma.
Miho began to laugh.
"Alright guess we better paint it back to green," said Jimmy.
"Sorry boys, it seems Emma used to last of the paint," said Anzu making the boys almost fall to the ground.
"Dang it Emma," said Ryan. Emma only shrugged. "Let's just get to practice."
"Good idea," said Anzu.
Practice proceeded as scheduled, tanks were moving in formation, then went to the shooting range, then another mock battle. Afterwards everyone stood at attention as Anzu had an announcement. "We are having a match," she announced.
"We're up against St. Gloriana Women's Academy," said Momo.
Saori noticed Yukari face, "what's wrong?" she asked with concern.
"St. Gloriana won the National Semi-finals before; they're quite strong," siad Yukari.
"Really," said Hana.
"Well the only way to become the best is to challenge the best," said Ryan.
"Meet at 6 am at school on Sunday," said Momo.
"I quit" said Mako, "too early."
"Already?" said Emma.
"Mako has trouble waking up," said Saori.
Mako walked off as everyone went after her, "w-wait!' said Miho.
"Six isn't happening," said Mako.
"We'll give you a wakeup call," said Yukari.
"We'll come pick you up," said Hana.
"In the morning? Can humans even wakeup at six?" said Mako.
"No we are meeting at 6 am, so you have to wake up around 5 AM," said Yukari.
"There are things people can and cannot do. I had fun, albeit short time," said Mako.
"If you leave, who's going to drive?" pleaded Saori. "What about your units? You're not going to be able to move on to the next year. You're going to end up having to call us Senpai. Try calling me Saori-Senpai," said Saori.
"Saori-Sen…," tried Mako.
"Plus if you do not graduate like you're supposed to, your grandma's going to be really mad," added Saori.
"My grand…" said Mako getting scared, "fine I'll do it."
"You know Mako," said Bram, "If you like I could play the bagpipes to rouse you up tomorrow."
Everyone began to shiver at the thought, "Thanks Bram," said Ryan.
"We'll take care of it," said Miho speaking for her team.
"Besides I think she might die hearing you play," said Jimmy.
"Oh it's like that eh Bampot, let me tell you something, I am the best," said Bram pulling out his Bagpipes. "I shall now play Scotland the Brave." He began to play, everyone began to shut their ears.
By the time Bram finished playing, "Thank you, thank you all," said Bram, then he finally noticed that everyone was gone, he shrugged, "guess they ran for joy."
School President Office…
A meeting was being held for all the tank commanders going over strategy for their first match.
"St. Gloriana Women's Academy is good at deep penetrating tactical strikes, using their tough armor and teamwork. Simply put, their armor's hard to breach. Just remover that our guns are not going to be effective, unless we're dealing within 100 meters when dealing with the Matilda II's. This is where we have one of our tanks become bait, pull the enemy into our kill zone, where we're the most effective, then have our remining units take them out using the difference in elevation," explained Momo.
"Okay!" said Noriko.
Ceasar seemed okay with the plan.
Azusa was excited.
Ryan had a hand on his chin.
Miho was looking down.
"Nishizumi, what's wrong?" asked Anzu, "and what about you Ryan.
"N-o it's nothing," said Miho.
"Umm…" began Ryan.
"Go on speak up," said Anzu.
"It's a good plan but…," said Ryan.
"St. Gloriana is going to anticpate that we're going to try to bait them using one of our tanks," said Miho. "So they'll probably try to counter our plan and surround us first," said Miho.
"That's true," said Yuzu.
"What were you going to say Ryan?" asked Anzu.
"Good plan, though we can't assume that these girls are mindless drone, they are not going to fall for a bait just like that," said Ryan.
"Shut up! Don't complain about my plan!" said Momo. "If your're going to complain, then you be the captain!"
"Huh? Sorry," said Miho.
"Sometimes a good leader listens to the people under him," said Ryan.
"Yea Mom, don't get so mad. Nishizumi might make a good captain, Nishizumi, be the captian for our team" said Anzu nominating Miho, "and Ryan you be Vice-Captain."
"What?" said Miho.
"Um?" said Ryan.
"No way, I'll never let him be Vice Captain," said Momo.
"Okay," said Ryan.
Anzu began to clap, Ceasar, Azusa, and Noriko calpped in approval of Miho being Captain. Ryan also joined in the applause.
"Work hard to get us to win, and if you do, I'll give you and awesome prize," said Anzu.
"Huh? What is it?" asked Yuzu.
"A three day supply of fried potatoes," said Anzu.
"What if we lose?" asked Noriko.
"I guess I'll have you dance the Goosefish Dance for the Cool Evening Festival," said Anzu.
"What?" said Noriko, all the girls having a downed look.
"What's that?" asked Ryan.
Later, Starboard benches…
After the meeting Miho and Ryan meet up with their crews. Miho made the news of the Goosefish dance, making Saori drop her water can.
"Goosefish Dance, if you dance that, you'll never be able to get married!"
"That'd totally get uploaded to the net, and sent to everyone across the country," said Yukari.
"You'll never be able to live it down," said Hana.
"Is it really that bad?" asked Miho.
"You mean this dance?" asked Emma showing her phone with a video of the dance.
"That's it!" said Saori.
"What's so bad about it, I think I'd be cute," said Emma.
"No Emma, it's horrible," said Saori.
"What about you guys?" asked Yukari.
"Anzu said we would have to wear it also," said Ryan with a morbid face.
"We're currently working on the courage," said Jimmy.
"To jump overboard," said Archie.
"Come on lads, where's your spirit, let's just win the match," said Bram. "Though I highly doubt they'd fine a suit to fit me."
"Lucky you!" the three boys said at once.
"Agreed, we just need to win," said Saori.
"Yeah! If we lose, I'll dance with you," said Yukari. "I won't let you be the only one to bear the embarrassment, Nishizumi-dono!"
"I'll do it," said Hana.
"Me, too!" said Saori.
"What?" said Miho.
"If we all do it together, it won't be embarrassing," said Saori.
"Thank you," said Miho.
"Actually I'm more worried about Mako showing up on time," said Saori.
"By the ways, you all need help with that?" asked Ryan.
"We got it Ryan," said Miho.
"In that case let's go home, see you all tomorrow," said Ryan.
Ryan's Dorm…
Ryan was at his desk on his laptop getting a video call, one the screen came Tsuneo. "Hey Dad,"
"Ryan good evening, it's getting late, shouldn't you be in bed?" asked Tsuneo.
"We are having a match, can you come?" asked Ryan.
"I see, I would love to come but the Marine Corp and Arrow Strike have me tied at the moment, but I wish you all the best," said Tsuneo.
"I understand, duty. By the ways Dad, there something I wish to ask?" said Ryan.
"Sure son, what is it?" asked Tsuneo.
"Is Miho my sister, I mean half-sister?" asked Ryan.
Tsuneo raised an eyebrow, "no need to beat around the bush I suppose, yes she is your half-sister," he answered.
Ryan was a bit taken back even though he knew it was true, "why didn't you tell me father?"
"I made a promise to Miho, besides you're my son, I knew you'd figure it out at some point," said Tsuneo.
"Why didn't Miho just tell us," said Ryan.
"That is something I don't know, perhaps you should ask her yourself," said Tsuneo.
"Dad, so you had another woman besides Mom," said Ryan.
Tsuneo sighed, "I'm sorry son, perhaps it's time I tell you and Emma about my past before I meet your mother, you both have a right to know." "When you speak with Miho, I shall explain everything, for now focus on your match, I shall try to peek in every now and then, best of luck son."
"Thanks Dad," said Ryan.
Battlefield…
The Ooarai tanks were lined up, the Pershing and Panzer IV being one of the lasts to arrive.
Soon the St. Gloriana tanks arrived lined up opposite of them Then a beautiful blonde girl jumped out of the Churchill towards Anzu.
"Woo weee, she's a beauty," said Jimmy.
"Got to admit, she is lad," said Bram.
"Greeting Darjeeling," said Anzu.
"Hello Anzu, said Darjeeling with a tea cup in hand sipping it. She looked and then spotted the boys. "The rumors are true," walking towards Ryan.
"Hi, and yea, first boys in Sensha-Do," said Ryan.
"Hello, I am Darjeeling, Commander of St. Gloriana, "Facts can be so misleading, where rumors, true or false, are often revealing," said Darjeeling.
"Christoph Waltz," said Ryan, "I am Ryan Asuka."
."Correct," said Darjeeling. "Pleasure to meet you."
"Wow I like how you do your hair," said Emma
"Thank you, and you are?" asked Darjeeling.
"Emma Asuka," said Emma.
"Please to meet you," she then looked at the opssoing tanks, "I must say hose are some interesting tanks," she said looking especially at the Pershing, "especially that one, anyways, Anzu, I have a wager," said Darjeeling
"What kind?" asked Anzu.
At this moment the Panzer and Pershing crew were standing with Anzu, though Archie was in the back. "If you happen to win, will donate one of our Mathilda's," said Darjeeling.
"Oh," said Anzu interested, "and if we lose what do you get?"
"Him, for half a day" said Darjeeling eyeing Archie.
Archie took notice of her gaze and was shaking. "No… no… you can't even consider…" he protested.
"You have a deal," said Anzu.
Archie feeling like he was just thrown under a bus ran behind the tank.
His teammates went after him with the Panzer and 38T crew.
"Oh my," said Darjeeling.
"Anzu it was not cool to just offer him up like that," said Ryan
"Relax, it's only for half a day," said Anzu, "and you siad we need more tanks anyway."
"True, but…"
"Heck no," said Archie, "That girl is devious, I can see it in her eyes, she wants to take me and have her whole team have their way with me." All the girls except Anzu blushed.
"That doesn't sound so bad to me lad," said Bram.
"Wow man, did not think you were into that kind of stuff," said Jimmy.
"Perv," whispered Mako.
"I heard a rumor their into domination," said Anzu.
"President!" exclaimed Momo.
"Whoa, whoa, let's calm down, Archie, I only just meet this team, but they seem to be very proper g. I don't think they are into that kind of stuff, besides we will just win, right Miho" said Ryan.
"Hai," said Miho.
"I hope your right," said Archie.
The judges soon arrive and they got into line and bowed. Then the team moved to their starting locations, the match had begun.
At the starting location, the team was making final preparations for the plan. "So we all understand the plan?" asked Ryan.
All the other commanders nodded yes, "ok then, who will be bait?" asked Jimmy.
"I'll do it," spoke Miho.
"You sure Miho, I mean you are our commander," said Ryan concerned.
"Ryan I can handle it," said Miho, "besides I am the commander, they won't resist."
Ryan pondered this for a moment, "your right, bring them to us and we will take them out . They didn't have anything for our Pershing," said Ryan.
"That doesn't mean we should underestimate them," said Miho, "stay on guard."
"Yes ma'am commander," said Ryan.
The Panzer IV left to draw the enemy, "well guess we wait," said Emma.
"Anyone up for some Texas Hold'em?" asked Jimmy.
"Why not," said Archie. The Pershing teams sitting on top of their tank playing cards. After about a couple of minutes Momo sounded the alarm.
"Everyone to your tanks their coming!" said Momo as everyone scrambled to their tanks and got them in position overlooking the narrow pass.
Ryan had a Flush, and was waiting for Jimmy, then he showed his hand with a grin, "Straight Flush, I win!" they he quickly got up and ran into the driver seat. Everyone else followed, though Ryan had a bit of a frown.
Ryan out of his cupola watched down the narrow pass and saw the Panzer IV approaching.
"FIRE!" said Momo.
Everyone fired at the Panzer IV by mistake.
"Hold fire Emma," said Ryan.
"I know," said Emma.
"Hey wait," said Miho as they were getting fired upon by their own team.
"Why are you trying to shoot your allies!" said Saori as the IV climbed the left hill to meet with the team lucky not to get hit. Getting into position as St. Gloriana arrived.
"Fire!" said Momo.
The Ooarai tanks all opened fired, most of them missing. Although the Pershing managed to hit the treads of the Mathilda in the back of the enemy column as they began to go left and right.
"Emma hit the Churchill," ordered Ryan. "
"FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!" yelled Momo. The enemy tanks in perfect synch and movement moved up to both sides.
The IV now behind the team, "You can't just fire all over the place, Emma has the right idea, aim for the treads," said Miho.
"Keep firing! Hit them! Shoot everything you can!" yelled Momo.
"Momo! Your not helping!" said Ryan.
In the Churchill, Dareeling knew she had them where she wanted them, "all tanks advance, attack, focus fire on the Pershing" she ordered gracefully.
They fired a barrage at the Ooarai team, the Lee and the 32T were struggling. The Pershing getting the worst of it.
"Damn, they are hitting us with all they got!" said Jimmy.
"Less talk more moving," said Ryan the Pershing shaking violently from all the hits, they were not getting taken out, just rattled.
Emma fired a shot at the Churchill but it moved into cover behind a rock, "their good," she thought.
The Lee crew panicked and abandoned their tanks, the enemy taking the opportunity to take it out.
The 38T went backwards, but then the treads came off and it slipped into a ditch.
Back at the IV, "Takebe, check the status of the other tanks for me," ordered Miho.
"Oh right," said Saori as she fiddled with the radio. "Um, B-team, how's it going?"
"We've mad e it through somehow," said Takeo.
"C-team?"
"Fine of course," said Erwin.
"D-team?" no response came.
"E-Team?"
"We're out," said Anzu.
"F-team?"
"Help we're getting blasted!" said Archie panicked.
"Archie be more composed," said Ryan, the tank still shaking, they would get taken out at this rate due to the tactical disadvantage.
"Anybody who can keep firing, keep firing!" ordered Momo.
"Miho we need to get out of here!" said Ryan.
"Agreed, we'll be finished off if we sit here," said Miho.
"You're the commander, Nishizumi," said Hana.
"We'll do what you say!" said Saori.
"I'll follow you wherever!" said Mako.
"Nishizumi-dono, your orders please!" said Yukari.
Miho feeling the encouragement of her crew began giving out orders, "B and C team follow us, F team cover our rear and follow. We're moving."
"Got it!" said Noriko.
Understood," said Erwin.
"Roger that," said Ryan.
"What? I won't forgive you!" said Momo not happy about leaving.
"You're not helping!" said Ryan.
"We're entering Operation: Now with more Sneaky Sneaks," said Miho. The Pershing, IV, 89, and III began to turn and retreat. The Pershing taking up the rear driving backwards.
"Jim, you brag about your driving skills, I hope you weren't bullshitting us!" said Ryan.
"Hell no, you will see," said Jimmy grinning. "I shall show them Texas!"
"Just make sure you give me a second to fire," said Emma, "Bram can you do a faster load."
"Sure thing las," said Bram.
Darjeeling was watching through the visor of her Churchill, "So they're running away? Follow then," she ordered.
The Gloriana tanks began to follow but as a II got to the entrance.
BOOM! A second later it was hit and white flagged.
"Hold," she ordered.
"Nice shot Emma," said Ryan. "Miho enemy taken out, our gun should force them to keep their distance for a bit."
"Good work," said Miho.
"Commander we repaired our treads."
Darjeeling was in thought thinking on how to take out the Pershing, they should've brought the Jumbo today. Hm, perhaps using their own tactic against them.
The Ooarai tanks meanwhile went into town to begin urban warfare, but the St. Gloriana tanks would soon be upon them.
"We're entering town, make use of the knowledge the best you can," said Miho.
"Why not," said Erwin.
"Ooarai's my neighborhood," said Noriko.
"Roger that," said Ryan, looking around he did not know this area well and urban warfare was not his thing, too used to the skies, but still he had to do his best. The tanks then split up.
The Gloriana tank arrived and realized, "they disappeared, report if the Pershing is sighted" said Darjeeling.
A II meanwhile was going down a road and saw flag on the side but kept going, then in as it was coming up on an alleyway it was flagged a sit realized the III was hiding with the flags as camouflage.
A tanker named Rukari was out of her cupola and then noticed a garage getting ready to open as she moved to check things out. The door opened, "idiots," she said thinking they were right there, but a lift behind them was coming up revealing the 89 right behind them. Thanks to the mirror inside the garage, "behind us!" as she took cover.
"Volleyball" said Noriko. 89 fired seemingly taking out the II.
"C-team, one tank down," said Erwin.
"B-team, one tank down," said Noriko.
"Nice job," said Ryan, the Pershing hiding in a alleyway.
"They did it," said Yukari.
The enemy tanks were report to Darjeeling, she gasped as she heard the report and dropped her tea. "There good, but I'll not let them get any further. Any sightings on the Pershing?"
Back with C-team another II spotted them, they decided to retreat in a alleyway and laughed all the way. "Take the minor street, the Assault III's got a lower profile," said Erwin or at least if it weren't for the flags they put up.
BOOM! Right through the wooden wall the III was taken out.
Back with the Type 89 they were celebrating their victory. Then the smoked cleared and were staring down the II's barrel. They began to panic and fired but it bounced off. Then it was over for them.
"This is C-team, we're down" said Erwin.
"B-Team here; we failed to take out the enemy and we're out! Sorry!"
Miho was downed at that news, "Ryan we need to meetup."
"Roger that," said Ryan, but then he spotted a II and it shot at him. The Pershing returned fire but missed, then it turned and began to flee.
"After it!" said Ryan. "Miho we're pursuing an enemy."
"Ryan what's your position?" asked Miho.
"West side housing district," said Ryan. "There not even firing back."
"This lighted a light bulb in Miho's head, "Ryan don't pursue they are baiting you," warned Miho.
"What! Please repeat," the radio experiencing some static he said the Pershing coming up on a four way street.
"They're BAITING YOU!" repeated Miho.
As the Pershing came on the four way at the center Ryan then realized, enemy at his 12, 9, and 3. "Reverse!" he ordered but then he looked back to see the Churchill at their 6. "SHIT!"
BOOM! All four tanks fired and flagged the Pershing as the IV came up to late at the 3. "F-team down," said Ryan, "sorry Miho."
Darjeeling sipped some tea in relief knowing they took out the biggest threat, now the IV which happened to show up.
"What do you want us to do?" asked Mako.
"Shake them off for now," said Miho. The IV going real fast as the enemy pursued them without mercy. One even crashing into a shop but came out and continued.
Observation Post…
Allen was watching the entire match with Ami, while some did better than others, he was a bit disappointed, especially with D-team, running and not fighting. He would have to talk with them. Still he admired this Darjeeling, she was a good commander. As for Miho was doing everything she could, she will be great in his mind.
Battlefield…
The IV was continuing to flee but then came to a dead end, the IV attempted but was trapped. The enemy was now right there.
They came to a stop as Darjeeling came out of he cupola, "have you heard this proverb before? The English say: all fair in love and war." All the tanks took aim at the IV as Miho continued to look and left and right for a way out.
Then out of nowhere the 38T came out "We're here!" said Anzu.
"The student council team!" said Hana.
"So they fixed their tread!" said Yukari.
"Fire!" said Momo as they drove in front of the enemy team. They fired but miss.
"Uh, Momo-chan, NOW you miss?" said Yuzu.
Then the enemy fired all at once taking out the 38T. "They got us!" said Anzu.
At the observation post, "YOU MISSED HOW COULD YOU MISS THEY WERE LIKE 3 FEET!" yelled Allen some claiming they could hear him. Ami calming him down.
"All ahead full! We're taking one shot and getting out of here! The alley on the left!" ordered Miho. The IV did exactly that and managed to flag an enemy.
"Cut them off now," said Darjeeling. A II moved to excute the order.
"Go out onto the street, and then get to the alley first," said Miho. The IV moved fast as Miho looked to see the Churchill on the other street. "Hurry as fast as you can! Move to the right and hug the wall, then stop fast at the end!"
"Right," said Mako. As they came to the end they stopped a II right in front of them, they fired and flagged it. Another II was coming and the IV went forward but did a U-turn and came around close and flagged the other II.
Now it was one on one duel. The Churchill came in and the IV fired but only hit the turret. "Move back as fast as you can, zig zag," said Miho.
The Churchill fired twice but missed both teams thanks to Mako. "Move into the alleyway?" she asked.
"No, I'll end this here. Go around. We'll start our attack. At least that's how we'll make it look, and on my signal, we'll head around to the right side of the enemy tank," said Miho as the IV began to execute the orders.
Darjeeling saw the sudden faint, "Now!" said Miho as they moved to the right of the Churchill. With a skid they got to the right of the Churchill up close, but it rotated it's turret towards the IV and both fired at once.
BOOM! A lot of smoke filled the area as the crowd was watching waiting to see who won. The smoke cleared and the IV was flagged despite the Churchill having sustained damage.
Ooarai Gir's Academy: all tank nonoperational, St. Gloriana Women's Academy takes this match," announced the announcer.
Truck Area…
F and A team were gathered around as they watched their tanks being driven away on repairs. "Miho , everyone don't look so down, you all did your best," said Emma putting a hand on her shoulder.
"You were, I mean you all almost came in for a big comeback," said Ryan, "As for us, we fail for a bait, it will not happen again."
This made A-Team feel a bit better, making Miho smile a bit.
"So you're the commander?" said Darjeeling approaching them with Assam and Peko.
"Y-yeah," answered Miho.
"Your name please?" asked Darjeeling.
"Nishizumi Miho," she said.
"From the Nishizumi family," said Dareeling. "Rather different from Maho I see," then looking at Ryan. "You boys did rather good."
"Thank you," said Ryan, "and you are a worthy opponent."
"More like a beautiful one too," said Jimmy.
"Jimmy," said Emma getting on his case again.
This made Dareeling blush a bit slightly, "by the way Mr…"
"You can call me Ryan, it's fine," said Ryan.
"Ryan, my friend Peko here has a request," said Darjeeling.
"Oh?" said Ryan.
"C-can I have your autograph?" asked Peko.
Ryan was a bit surprised, he did have a few fans but did not expect one here, "Oh um sure," said Ryan taking a pen and paper from Peko and sighing it.
"Thank you," said Peko blushing a bit.
"Anyhow would Mr. Rogers come along please," said Darjeeling.
"W-what?" said Archie shaking then suddenly he fell down and fainted making everonye jump.
"Oh my," said Darjeeling.
Bram bent down to take a pulse test, "he's alright."
"Well we'll take him anyway," said Darjeeling. Assam and Peko moved to grab Archie and took him to their jeep.
"Um will he…" protested Ryan.
"He will be back before you depart Rya, Cheerio" said Darjeeling leaving with her team with Archie in tow.
E- team walked up, "so we lost," said Anzu, "don't worry about it."
"I guess I'll have you do the Goosefish dance, as agreed upon," said Momo.
"Well, the failure was due to all of us," said Anzu.
"Prez, you can't mean…" protested Yuzu and Momo with a look of surprise.
Anzu look to see the boys with looks of great protest.
"Yup!" said Anzu.
"No…" said Ryan.
"Freakin…" said Jimmy.
"Way…" said Bram.
"We would rather jump into the ocean," said Jimmy.
"Oh come boys we can work something out," said Anzu.
Ooarai School…
All the girls were I questionable, tight fitting, pink, fish outfits dancing on a flatbed truck dancing. All of them were completely embarrassed, save for a few like Emma who was smiling dancing right next to Miho in perfect sync.
Miho was in complete embarrassment.
"I can't get married now!" cried Saori.
"Can't do anything about it now!" said Yukari.
"If you think of it was embarrassing, it'll just make it more embarrassing," said Hana.
"Oh no Saori, jus the opposite with an outfit and dancing like that, guys will want to marry you," said Jimmy out the passenger window with his phone recording them. The boys were wearing only the pink Anglerfish hat as part of the compromise. Ryan was driving with Bram as the passenger, Jimmy in the back.
Saori noticing the phone, "Jimmy you jerk!" said Saori.
"Despite this hat, this is worth it seeing the little fishes dance, this will go on my channel," said Jimmy.
"You will delete that footage!" said Yukari.
"Nope not happening," said Jimmy grinning.
"JERK!" cried Saori as she kept dancing in embarrassment.
After that was over, F-team went their separate ways from A-team and looked around town before getting back on the ship that night. Meeting up with Miho team and found out that Hana's mother disowned her.
"You going to be ok Hana?" asked Jimmy.
"I'll be fine," said Hana.
"Hopefully you can make it someday," said Ryan.
"Commander Nishizumi," said Azusa and her whole team bowing in apology.
"Huh?" said Miho as everyone looked at the young Freshman.
"We're sorry for leaving the tank there and running away!" said Azusa.
"Sorry!" they all apologized.
"You were wonderful," said Ayumi.
"We thought you'd lose right away, but," said Yuuki.
"We'll do our best next time," said Aya.
"We'll definitely do our best next time," said Karina.
"Or your suffer Allen's wrath," said Emma.
They all shook a bit, Allen gave them a bit of an earful but was only merciful because of Ami and because they were young Freshmen, though he declared that it would not be the case next time they'd run.
"We'll leave the plans to you from now on," said Anzu and the rest of E-Team.
"What?" said Momo.
"Also, I think I should be Vice Commander, Momo's sporadic language and leading did njot help us," said Ryan.
"What was that Mr. Asuka," said Momo.
"That fine," said Anzu.
"President," said Momo.
"Um, hi," said someone as they looked to see it was Archie shaking a bit holding a present.
"Hey Archie, how'd it go?" asked Ryan.
"I made them cry," said Archie.
"What! What kind of man makes girls cry," said Jimmy.
"Yeah!" said Emma.
"Shame on you lad," said Bram.
"Hold on, you misunderstand!" said Archie.
St. Gloriana…
After Archie woke up from the Aroma of the tea. He realized he was trapped, sitting at a table with his biggest fears all around him. He could not run, he would get lost, besides he needed some tea right now. The girls and Darjeeling especially inquired to him about England. He told them and then they took him for a tour. He admits his nervousness was dyeing down as he talked to them.
Then they took him to the Chapel and he was reminded about how he would sing. Many other girls were also in there. Darjeeling asked him to treat them to a song. After a bit of begging and sweet talk, he relented and got up on the podium ad sung Suo Gan. This caught them by surprise as they heard of Welsh but never heard it sung and it was the most beautiful thing they have ever heard.
His voice was like an angel still at his age, and it even brought Darjeeling to tears. "So beautiful," said Darjeeling.
Ooarai School…
"Whoa," said Jimmy.
"I did not know you were Welsh," said Bram.
"Part Welsh, me mum's side," said Archie.
"Hey man you're getting over your fears of girls," said Ryan.
Archie realized this, he quickly moved and, "Here Miho from Darjeeling," he said before he ran into the night to his home.
"He still has work," said Emma.
Miho looked into the basket gift and saw it was tea and a letter. The letter said
Thank you for today. Our match with you was more entertaining than the one with your sister. I hope we can fight in an official match next time. P.S. Archie is mine.
"I heard St. Gloriana only sends tea to those they feel are good rivals," said Yukari.
"I see," said Saori.
"Yesterday's enemies are today's friends. Right?" said Yukari.
"Should we tell Archie someone is crushing on him?" asked Ryan.
All of them though for a second, "Na, he'll figure it out," said Bram.
"He's lucky though, I envy him," said Jimmy.
"We'll have to win our first official match," said Anzu.
"Yeah, let's win the next one," said Miho, then she noticed Emma sending something on her phone.
"Emma what did you send?" asked Miho being a bit nosey.
"Oh, I sent our dance to our father," said Emma.
"Nani!" squealed Miho in embarrassment.
"Speaking of father, can I talk to you both when we get back," said Ryan.
Tsuneo's House…
Tsuneo managed to finish the last of his paper work and did manage to look at the Ooarai match and saw the highlights. He was proud and it was a disappointment that Miho came so close, luckily it was not an official match. Then he got a buzz on his phone and pulled it out. "Oh, from Emma, a video?"
Then he watched the video and his jaw dropped, after the video was done, "What the heck did I just watch?"
St. Gloriana...
Darjeeling with a tear in her eyes made a phone call, "Evening Lieutenant."
"Good evening miss, everything go according to plan?" asked Rogers.
"Yes sir, i believe your son has gotten more confidence of himself. About our bargain?" inquired Darjeeling.
"Of course Miss, I shall give your team some lessons, goodnight," said Rogers.
