"Good morning all stars, it is now 8:00am. Time to wake up and smell the roses. Unless you're gonna sulk in bed. I guess that's fine too"
It was a ghost town. Everyone sat in the cafeteria in silence. Two of the allstars had died the previous day and it was reasonable for no one to speak. Not even usually bright characters like Sackboy and Toro.
Parappa looks over at Spike during breakfast. He was thinking about what happened with Spike last night. For someone that was his assigned rival, Spike was actually a very nice guy, despite the fact they got off the wrong foot 20 years ago. Maybe he and Spike can make amends.
"I went to the infirmary to get some aspirin and Ratchet and Clank's bodies are gone," Nathan Drake said. "And all the blood has been cleaned up, almost like nothing ever happened"
"Well something did happen" Cole said "We saw 11 of our freaking friends die, we saw their blood spill, because of some build a bear who wants us to kill each other for his sick torture porn"
"Torture porn? What do I look like, a degenerate?"
Everyone turns to see Monokuma, they all scream.
"You just keep turning up like a bad bug," Evil Cole said.
"Are you here to give us more motives?" Kuro said.
"No, infact" Monokuma said "I made you all a present"
With a wave of his hand, he reveals a virgil he made for all 11 allstars they lost so far.
"This will get updated after every trial" Monokuma said "so be thankful that there's only 11 for now. It'll be 12 soon. Feel free to leave flowers"
Monokuma disappears. The gang stares at the virgil. It's still a shame that 11 all stars were gone.
"Let's never fall for a stupid motive ever again" Cole said. "What we need now is a way to escape this castle. Did anyone find anything we can use to escape?"
"Well it looks like all the windows are locked up," Dante said. "Kinda weird for a castle"
"And cameras have been set up everywhere," Spike said. "Monokuma really wants to see what we're doing at all times"
"Not even Polygon Man was this creepy," Nathan Drake said. "Maybe Monokuma took out Polygon Man to do his killing game. But that's just a theory. A ga-"
"Don't finish that sentence," Parappa said.
The day went by a little slowly. With no motive to kill, it seemed that the killing game was over.
The Allstars also realized that certain parts of the castle had been blocked off. The only 3 rooms that people can visit were the main room, the cafeteria and the dorms where everyone was sleeping in. However a new room was opened.
"Strange, why did Monokuma block off half the castle?" Parappa said.
"You haven't unlocked that part of the castle yet" Monokuma said
Everyone screamed.
"Jesus," Cole said.
"But I'm not making you pay for it like EA," Monokuma said. "Instead, another part of the castle will be unlocked after every trial. After yesterday's trials, you've unlocked the library. It's got manga, novels, playboy magazines, and children's books. Feel free to read all the books you want without the need for a library card"
He disappears. Everyone rushed into the library.
"A change of scenery is always nice," Nathan Drake said, picking up Hamlet.
"Despair, How It All Began" Parappa said reading the title of a book. "A Pop Up Book by Monokuma" Parappa began to go through the pages.
"Well, I gotta admit, it is well drawn," Parappa said. He flips the page and-
"OH MY GOD" Parappa said. Everyone ran over to where Parppa was.
"We're in this book," Parappa said. The popup was Monokuma terrorizing the allstars.
"After a successful killing game starring the Super Smash Bros fighters." Parappa read. "It was time to go after the Playstation All Stars. But why would he do this? Find out after the next mur- oh come on. I hate when books become DLC"
"Smash Bros had to deal with this too?" Cole said. "I kinda feel bad for them."
"Such despicable behavior from this bear," Nariko said.
"So first we gotta take out the bear," Sly said. "And then we'll-"
Ding Dong Bing Bong.
The announcement came on.
"It is now 10:00 pm. The castle will be on lockdown momentarily. Please report to your dorm or I'll be forced to put you through a punishment." Monokuma said.
"Dangit," Sly said. "We'll talk later"
Parappa didn't want to stay by himself so he decided to ask Spike if he could stay with him at his dorm.
"Huh?" Spike said "I guess you can stay… Why are you asking me though?"
"Because as of now, you're the only person I can trust" Parappa said. "I know that's weird coming from your rival-"
"Is it because you're-"
