Hey everyone, I'm back with another chapter. Hope you enjoy.

Chapter 16 Attack At AM

Fairgrounds…

Miho, Hana, and Yukari arrived at the fairgrounds after seeing Saori go along with Mako to see her grandma being in the hospital. "Why don't we got see them tomorrow in the hospital," suggested Hana.

"Good idea," said Yukari.

"Hope Mako's grandma is doing ok," said Miho.

"Wonder how Ryan's doing?" wondered Yukari.

"We can check up on him," said Hana.

"Hai," said Miho.

"Right after we get some food," said Yukari.

"After that, we should check on the tanks," said Miho.

The three friends kept going hoping to get a quick bite. Then the spotted something, up ahead, "Miho is that?" said Hana.

"Emma?" said Miho. However she began to get increasingly worried, she was slouched over with her uniform torn and missing a shoe. "Emma!" she called out, the three of them went running.

When Emma turned around, it made the three of them gasp. "Oh hi M-Miho…" her face was dirty, hair messed up, more damage to her uniform, bloody nose, black eye, and scores of bruises, she was in bad shape.

"She needs a nurse, no a doctor," said Hana.

"That looks bad," said Yukari.

"Emma what happened to you," said Miho worried. She then put a hand on her shoulder and immediately noticed she was soaking wet.

"M-Miho, it was bad, but I'll be fine. Just a scuffle with some Kuromormine girls " she said as some tears and tried to continue to walk I off.

"Emma!" exclaimed Miho running ahead of her sister putting both hands on her shoulder, "you're not fine, we are going to get you aid before anything else," said Miho giving a slight scolding.

"Miho, let's get her to Saunder's medical van," said Hana.

"Ryan is not going to be upset when we find him," said Yukari.

Emma tried to calm down, "let's go," she said weakly letting go of Miho and trying to walk on her own but she was stumbling.

"I got you Emma," said Miho picking her up and began to run.

"Sorry I'm causing you all such trouble," said Emma.

"Don't worry about it," said Miho.

"This is what friends are for," said Hana.

"Just hang in there Emma," said Yukari.

Saunder's Field Garage…

All five students were still at the picnic table discussing the Saunder's Arrow Strike program. Ryan taking a sip of his of some soda, "so Kay, you three will be joining the Saunder's Arrow Strike team?"

"Just for one tournament," said Kay.

"Just to get things started," said Naomi.

"What do yawl have packing so far?" asked Jimmy.

Alisa was typing one her laptop and brought up orders, "About 10 Mustangs, with twenty more orders, 10 Dauntless scout planes, 10 Lightings with five more on order, and 3 B-29s so far."

"Wow, quiet and arsenal you got there," said Ryan.

"Thank you," said Kay.

"How many have you got signed up?" asked Ryan.

"About seven so far, hope to get at least thirty by the tournament," said Kay. "Hope you join us, we can even give scholarships to your old squad," she gave him a wink.

"Heh, you really are tempting," said Ryan.

"Ryan!" this got everyone's attention to see Hana, Yukari, and Miho with Emma on her back in bad shape. Ryan got up with a chill and frantic look running to his sisters. "Emma!" he exclaimed. "What happened!"

"She got jumped," answered Miho.

"By who!" he asked.

"Girls from Kuromormine," said Yukari.

"What" said Ryan surprised.

"Did Kuromormine go off the deep in?" wondered Naomi.

"No time for that, let's get her to medical van," said Kay.

"I'll grab my spare uniform," said Naomi.

The group went to the medical van to treat Emma, she got bandages and alcohol on her wounds, treated by Kay, Hana, and Miho. Naomi then came in with her spare uniform. "You boys should step out," said Naomi.

Both boys nodded and walked out.

Ryan had his fist clenched and shaking, how could he let this happen. He promised to look after her, but he failed and she got hurt.

Jimmy noticing his friend was tense, "hey you alright?"

"I'll be fine, it's just, I'm her big brother, I made a promise," said Ryan.

"Hey man, you could've not known they were coming for your sister, don't eat yourself on it," said Jimmy.

"I know, but somehow they must pay, they must've been from there Sensha-do team," said Ryan.

"What are you suggesting?" asked Jimmy.

"I don't know," said Ryan.

"Hey you two," said Alisa coming back with a laptop.

"Hey Alisa," said Jimmy.

"I went into the security cameras to show the police, they are on the way," said Alisa.

"Can I see the footage," demanded Ryan.

"I don't think you want to see it," said Alisa.

"Show me!" demanded Ryan who's tone became more tense.

Alisa being a bit scared put her laptop down and showed the footage on the picnic table.

He saw the girls pushing his sister to the ground and kicked her. Every kicked they did made Ryan more angry, clenching his fit, shaking more and more. Then they picked her up and went into the forest where likely they threw her into a pond.

"Poor Em," said Jim.

"I know Kuromormine can be rough, but this is taking it way too far," said Alisa.

"You got that right," said Ryan.

"You going to be alright?" asked Jim.

"I'll be fine," said Ryan.

"You don't look fine," said Alisa.

"Ryan," called Miho. "She's fine now."

The three of them went inside to see Emma wearing a temporary Saunder's uniform, though it was a bit big with the sleeves were a bit too long. She had bandages and was patched up.

"Emma are you alright?" asked a concerned Ryan.

"I'm fine, just ran into a bad…oh" Emma was suddenly hugged tightly by her brother who was worried.

"I promise I won't let you out of my sight," said Ryan.

"Ryan, I can take care of myself, I'm not a kid anymore," protested Emma.

"It's obvious you can't, looked what happened tonight," said Ryan.

"I'll be more careful, your being overprotective" said Emma.

"What if you get jumped again, I'll talk to father about this," said Ryan.

"I'll be fine, don't tell Dad, besides he won't let you hear the end of it," said Emma.

The argument was intensifying, everyone could only stare not wanting to get involved in a sibling argument. "Ryan, Emma!" shouted Miho. "Maybe it would be best if we get Emma back to the school ship," suggested Miho attempting to be the voice of reason.

"Not a bad idea," said Jimmy. "May I suggest you discuss this with cooler heads."

"Fine!" they both said.

"Yes, but first, we need to talk to the police," said Alisa an officer coming right in.

After giving a report the police and giving evidence. The rest of the Oaorai team left the Saunder's encampment. "Ah, I forgot I wanted to make sure Mako is alright," said Miho.

"What do you mean Miho?" asked Jimmy.

"Mako left to see her grandma at the hospital," said Yukari.

"We planned to see her tomorrow," said Hana.

"So Saori went with Mako," guessed Jimmy.

"Hai," said Yukari.

"Yukari, Hana, please tell Mako I wish her well," said Miho.

"No Miho, go see Mako," said Emma.

"But…" she began to protest.

"I'll get her to the ship, she'll be fine," said Ryan.

"And I will make sure to be referee tonight," said Jimmy.

Miho was surprised, but was thankful, "thank you," said Miho.

"No problem," said Ryan.

"See you on the ship," said Emma.

The two groups separated as the rest of Orca team was returning to the ship. "Emma, I will hold off on telling Dad, still he will have to know," said Ryan.

"I know, I just don't want him to worry," said Emma.

Battlefield, Kuromormine vs Chi Han…

The sun was high in the sky with clouds in the sky. Tsuneo now wearing causal clothing was making his way to the stands, though a bit tired after some late work and watching his kids first match. He could not wait to call them today and congratulate them, but first he wanted to see his daughter Maho's match.

He made his way to the back of the of the upper stands, he expected Kuromormine to win this hands down. Although he hoped Chi Han would at least make this match interesting. Maybe they learned not to do those charges anymore, surely they have learned that straight charges won't work especially against the Nishizumi style.

After about over half an hour, Tsuneo was sitting with a sigh, while he was happy that Maho won the match. Chi Han greatly disjointed him, that school has not learned a single thing.

With the match now over he made his way to the Kuromormine tank garage, he made sure to look around to make sure Shiho was not around. He then came across the line, he knew he could get into trouble for trespassing, but he had to see Maho. He crossed the line and entered, he could see a bunch of Kuromormine tankers repairing and getting ready to go back onto their carrier.

He quickly moved to hide behind some crates, he really hoped that Maho would not mistake him for a stalker or saboteur. He looked around once more and saw that there were just way too many tankers, had to hand it to Shiho, she always keeps a full roster. Tsuneo was now having second thoughts, this was a bad idea. Tsuneo thanks to his training managed to get out of the garage without being seen. As he was walking towards the yellow line.

"Hey you!" someone called out.

Tsuneo froze knowing he got and was actually sweating a bit, he turned around and realized it was Maho. "Civilian you are trespassing," said Maho as she looked at the man and recognized him. "Taicho? What are you doing here?"

"Oh, I watch the match and was on my way out and honestly got lost, forgive me for crossing into the wrong area," said Tsuneo hoping she would buy it.

Maho only gave him a stare, she had the same kind of stare as her mother. "On your honor Taicho?"

"On my honor," said Tsuneo.

"Did you enjoy the match?" asked Maho.

"I did, I will say you're a great commander," said Tsuneo.

"Thank you Taicho," said Maho.

"By the ways, there is something I must tell you," said Tsuneo.

"Hm?" wondered Maho.

"Commander!" called Erika coming up with her crew, she noticed the man. "Are you a trespasser!"

"Relax Erika, it's ok," said Maho.

"Hai," said Erika.

"So what's the problem?" asked Maho.

"One of the freshmen teams are having an issue with their tank," said Erika.

"I'll be right there," said Maho. "What were you going to say Taicho?"

Tsuneo wanted to tell her here and now, but too many people here, "that I looked forward to your next match. You all have a good day," said Tsuneo leaving and waving.

"Thank you Taicho," said Maho.

Ryan's Dorm…

It was afternoon, Ryan was in his room sitting at his desk looking over a map and paper with calculations and paths, since last night he has been making plans for payback. The whole team heard about the attack. Many payed a visit to make sure Emma was alright. Overall she had recovered well despite the beat down. She was pretty much back to her normal self. He was still very angry, Kuromormine was going to pay for what they did to his sister. Looking over the map and the Sensha-do match schedule the Ooarai Carrier would be passing by and would be in close proximity to one another. He did research on the web that Kuromormine does early morning practice, that will be the time to teach them a lesson, then come right back without anyone knowing.

Then a knock came on his door, Ryan got up and hid the planes real fast and went to the door and opened, it was Miho. "Oh Miho," said Ryan.

"Time for dinner Ryan," said Miho.

"Oh right sorry," said Ryan.

Miho's Dorm…

Emma, Miho, and Ryan had all sat down for dinner having some rice and fried fish. Miho's laptop was positioned for all three to see and soon a call came and there father appeared on the screen.

"Hi Daddy!" said Emma with rice bowl in hand.

"Hi Dad!" greeted Ryan.

"Konnichiwa Otous-san," said Miho.

With a happy chuckle Tsuneo gave his three kids a smile, "hello my kids. You have all made me proud. I watched the recording of your battle against Saunder. Miho you displayed excellent leadership, Emma great shotting but you can become better, and Ryan good jobs overall but you need more experience in a tank," said Tsuneo.

"Hey Dad, the enemy was intercepting our transmission," said Emma.

"Then Miho came up with the idea of using that against them," said Ryan.

"Oh, well that should teach them to listen in on you all," said Tsuneo. "Once again Miho, well done."

Miho could not help but blush at the praise, in fact Okaa-san never praised her liked this. It made her feel so happy. "Thank you Otou-san," said Miho.

"Hm," he gave her a nod. Now I cannot help but notice, Emma why are you and bandages?" asked Tsuneo concerned.

Emma, did not desire to tell her father, he did not want him to worry, "um, well." Ryan gave her a nudge with his elbow telling her it was pintless to try to lie. "I got jumped after the Saunder's match."

"What, who?" said Tsuneo, his tone becoming serious.

"Some girls form Kuromormine, saw it on a video" said Ryan.

"We reported it to the police Otou-san," said Miho.

"Hm, Miho can you identify any of the girls?" asked Tsuneo.

"I saw the video two times, could not recognize any of them, sorry Otous-san," said Miho.

"It's alright Miho, Emma how are right now?" asked Tsuneo.

"I'm fine," said Emma.

"Good, I'll take care of things on another end, please try to stick together, and Emma, when I get the chance I shall teach you some lessons on self-defense," said Tsuneo.

"Thanks Dad," said Emma.

"Now I look forward to your next match, good night to you all," said Tsuneo.

Ooarai Airfield…

It was early morning with a half moon, Ryan arrived at the airfield after sneaking out after curfew. He made his way to the hanger that housed his P-51 that was ready to go after earlier day perpetrations. Then he heard some boxes fall over making him jump. "Who's there?" he demanded.

"Whoa calm down Ryan," whispered Jimmy coming out of the shadows.

"Jim," whispered Ryan, "what are you doing it?"

"I figured you were going to cause some trouble, I'm coming with you," said Jim.

"What!" he exclaimed in a whisper.

"She is my teammate, we stick up for one another, mess with my teammate they mess with us all," said Jimmy.

"This is my mission, besides you don't have plane," said Ryan.

"Oh," said Jim walking over to a large tarp and pulled it down revealing another P-51 painted red and blue, with a yellow lone star, equipped with the tank bombs. "Why don't we test these more," he suggested.

Ryan stood there for a moment, twice the firepower now. "Can you fly ok?"

"Course I can," said Jim.

"Alright," let get going, but follow my orders," said Ryan.

"Sure thing commander," said Jim.

Kuromormine Training Field…

The girls of Kuromormine were on the field with Tiger 212 in the lead in a v-shapered formation. Despite the sweeping victory over Chi-Han. Some of the freshmen were still having some trouble with the formation. Maho and Erika were working with them especially so they can adjust for the more important matches.

"Halt!" ordered Maho. "Fire!"

The shots from the Tigers and Panzers overall was accurate.

"Reload!" said Erika.

"Tank 7 reloaded!"

"Tank 9 reloaded!"

All the tanks finishing checking in.

"Aim for secondary targets!" said Erika, all tanks aiming at another set of targets.

"Fir…" said Maho but did not finish the order as she heard something. Some sort of buzzing sound and it was get closer. Maho curious opened her cupola and looked around with binoculars.

BOOM!

A Panzer III was flagged.

"What was that!"

"We're under attack!"

"Where are they!" The Kuromormine girls began to look in a panic.

"We've been flagged!" said a Tiger I.

Maho looked around her binoculars and what she saw shocked even her. Two P-51s were attacking them. One on the right, another on the left.

"Plane?"

"Shoot them down!" said Tank 11. Some of the Kuromormine tanks on the right attempted to shoot down the P-51. Firing the main guns and machine guns. Unfortunately for them, they could not get a good angle or lock on as the P-51 was too high and fast.

"Stop firing, you'll piss him off, now he's coming in for another attack run!" said Tank 22.

"Scatter, back to the garage!" ordered Maho who was fuming at their practice being interrupted.

The tanks were in complete panic and went in all directions, Erika unable to calm them down.

Dicer 1 meanwhile went in for another attack run dropping his second set of bombs managing to take out a Panzer IV and III.

"Nice one Ryan!" said Jimmy.

"It's Dicer 1, Lone Star 1" said Ryan.

"Oh right," said Jimmy. Jimmy flew to another dive going after a Tiger I. Unfortunately he missed. "Aw I missed, mind as well use these," said Jimmy. He flew in a complete circle turning around giving a rain of bullets.

The girls in the Tiger I got rattled by the bullets hitting their tanks going over them and back into high air. "Oh yea, they are scattering like sheep," said Jimmy. Then he looked and saw a mother of all tanks, it was so big. He had one last bomb, why not he thought. The slow moving Maus was easily caught, and being so big made it easy for it to land flagging it.

"Well partner, I'm out, just going to scare them with bullets," said Jim.

Ryan meanwhile was saving his last bomb. He looked around, saw a few Panzer II and III, boring he thought. Then he saw a Tiger I fleeing, oh mind as well. He then went on an attack run going for the single Tiger I.

Maho was sitting as calmly as she could, even she was a bit flustered by this unexpected attack. Someone was going to pay later for this, though so far despite these bombs, all the girls who were hit were not injured. Still the tanks were going to need repair after this. Soon these planes would run out of bombs and then leave. She heard something, so she peaked out of her cupola and then saw the P-51 was coming at their rear.

As Ryan was approaching by dive ready to drop, he saw the top open and looked at the number 212, and then saw the the tank commander and his eyes widened, it was Maho. Then a realization hit, don't attack your older half-sister. Then he saw something else that made him react fast. The Koinstiger was ahead of the Tiger I, it's big gun aimed perfectly up.

"Taicho!" said Erika wanting to save her commander and then fired.

The round coming fast, Ryan quickly veered right and up narrowly avoiding the shot, it was a close call, a shot out of a hundred.

"What?" said a surprised Erika.

Ryan now gritted his teeth chose a new target making a run at the Koinstiger. Erika attempted to get her tank to move out of the way. BOOM! She was too late and was shaken up, her tank was flagged.

"Dicer 1, I think they had enough," said Jimmy.

"Roger that, this should draw out the suspects," said Ryan. "Let's go home."

"How man tanks did we get?" asked Jimmy.

"About five and six," said Ryan as the 2 P-51s began to withdraw from the area.

Back on the ground, the Kuromormine girls were scrambling to inspect the damage and making sure none of their teammates were hurt.

"Taicho," said Erika running up to Maho as she jumped down from her tank.

"Erika, you alright?" asked Maho.

"Fine, whoever did this will pay," said Erika clenching her fist.

"I already know," said Maho as she got a good luck at one of the P-51s with a one dice on it.

"Who?" said Erika.

"Asuka Ryan," said Maho still ticked off of the attack.

"Why that blaspheming asshole, I'll make him pay for this," said Erika.

"No, Okaa-san will handle this," said Maho know Okaa-san would find out and will be blazing with fury.

Ooarai Airfield…

The 2 P51s landed with now issue and were parked inside the garage. Ryan got out of his cockpit and then suddenly his phone began to ring, Jimmy's also.

Ryan looked at the ID and eyes widened, he found out, this quickly in fact. The ID said Dad. The cell rang two more times and then Ryan answered.

"Ryan, what the hell did you do!" said Tsuneo.

Well reader, hope you look forward to what will happen next chapter. Readers you are now the judge and the jury, how should Ryan be punished?
