"I hear jail time is on the table!"

"Ms. Nishizumi shall be telling a statement soon!"

Miho muted the TV for now and then turned to Ryan, "Ryan what were you thinking!"

"I was thinking that attacking them would draw out the suspects" said Ryan.

"Ryan, my Okaa-san is not going to take this laying down, she is going to come for you," warned Miho.

"She can't touch me, besides once the suspects come out she will face embarrassment and school reputation will take a blow," said Ryan.

"What about the girls you attacked, they likely had nothing to do with it," said Miho.

"Calm down Miho, Dad already gave me a scolding," said Ryan.

"Yea, but he said he's not done with you yet," said Emma.

Ryan phone began to ring, he looked to see it was Momo, he declined it for about the seventh time.

"You know she will have your ear by tomorrow," said Emma.

"I know, it seems I'm also having it on social media," said Ryan.

"Jimmy's in that boat also," said Miho.

"Wow the Sensha-do community is making you public enemy number 1," said Emma.

"This will be worth it," said Ryan.

Tsuneo's House…

Tsuneo was sitting in his office with two hands on his head and elbows to the desk. Arrow Strike has called not too happy of the situation, he was angry at his son, while he cared for his daughter this while matter could've been handled civilly. Shooting Somalia pirates was much more simpler. Then his telephone began to ring, he picked it up immediately.

"Hello?" said Tsuneo.

"Tsuneo," said Shiho who he immediately recognized.

"Shiho?" said Tsuneo surprised at getting a call from his ex.

"Did you do this?" she demanded sternly.

What seemed to be a tense moment, he answered, "no my son did this on his own, but I do bare some responsibility as his father" he answered. "Now did your students attack my daughter?" he asked sternly.

"Along with some detectives, after looking over it two times, I can conclude that those girls were not my students," said Shiho.

"What?!" said a surprised Tsuneo. "How can that be, those are clearly Kuromormine's uniforms."

"Do you take me for a liar Tsuneo?" asked Shiho.

Tsuneo sat silently for a moment and then came a whisper, "no."

"You know with this unprovoked attack on the pride of Sensha-do, I shall go after your son," said Shiho.

"And what will you demand?" asked Tsuneo.

"For starters reparation for damage to our tanks," said Shiho.

"Shiho, do you hate me that much?" asked Tsuneo. He was curious remembering what Ami had told him.

Shiho was now pondering that very question, "I don't know."

"I guess I will see you at the meeting with the SDF," said Tsuneo hanging up.

Shiho's Office…

Shiho put the phone down, her hand was shaking. Her emotions for her ex-husband was mixed, she was angry at this boy for such an offense, but she struggled with wanting to punish while at the same time not wanting to hurt Tsuneo too much.

"Ma'am, the press is ready," said her secretary.

"I'll be right there," said Shiho.

Tsuneo's House…

As Tsuneo put the phone down, he had to now think of a way to protect his son as much as possible, he already gave him a stern talking too, but whatever punishment he could give would not be any worse than the SDF and Shiho will do, Arrow Strike might also penalize him someway also.

Then a phone call, Tsuneo picked up the phone once more, "Hello?"

"Greetings Tsuneo," said Renta.

"Renta, what do you want?" demanded Tsuneo clenching a fist.

"Why to tell you that the Sensha-do Federation will be punishing your son, one he will be suspended, and two we will pursue jail time for him and his friend. However, we might drop the jail demand if Arrow Strike will drop it's tank program," said Renta.

This bastard, Tsuneo knew for sure now that Renta had something to do with this whole mess, for now he had no proof, "that decision isn't up to me you son of a bitch."

"Oh, and what will you do Tsuneo any attack on me would be an international incident," said Renta.

"Fuck you, I will get my son out of this," said Tsuneo.

"I'll believe it when I see it," said Renta hanging up the phone.

Tsuneo slammed the phone down almost breaking it, from there he knew he needed some air and decided to go outside to think.

Miho's Dorm…

"Hey Miho, your Mom on TV," said Emma. All three of them were now glued to the screen.

"As of this time, the girls that attacked Emma Asuka were not of Kuromormine, therefore Ryan Asuka shall pay for the offense committed against Kuromormine," announced Shiho.

"What!" said Ryan.

"You see what you've done Ryan," said Miho.

"I don't need to hear this right now!" said Ryan storming out of Miho's apartment.

"Brother wait!" called Emma but it was for naught as the door slammed.

"No Emma, we must let him cool off," said Miho.

"Guess I'll take a bath then," said Emma walking into the bathroom, as she was getting ready to unbutton, suddenly she began to cough. Thinking it was nothing, she continued.

Ooarai Tank Garage…

The students were standing at attention waiting for their instructors. They both arrived, Ami stepped forward, "before we begin, Ryan" she called.

"Yes ma'am," answered Ryan stepping forward .

"I have bad news I'm afraid, the Sensha-do board have decided to discipline you by suspending you and your team for the match against Anizo," said Ami.

"What!" said almost the entire Ooarai team.

"W-why did they have to punish my whole team," said Ryan.

"To teach you a lesson, it was either suspension or expulsion, I managed to convince them suspension was the best, I'm sorry Ryan," said Ami. "Anyways get to practice everyone."

"Emergency meeting now!" commanded Momo. All the tank commanders meet in the garage.

"Ryan you BAKA! We could lose without the Pershing! What on earth were you thinking!" yelled Momo giving Ryan an earful.

"I'll say Ryan," said Archie.

"Ma, Ma Momo, calm down, Anizo does not have any heavy tanks," said Anzu.

"That we know of," said Ceasar.

"Yukari will find out for us," said Miho.

"I'm on it Miporin," said Yukari giving a salute.

"Then, that should work," said Ryan.

"I think will go home early," said Jimmy.

"Hold up Ryan," said Archie marching right up to Ryan. "What's the big idea attacking those girls not even thinking of the consequences."

"You know why, she's your teammate" said Ryan.

"I know that, but things could've been handled civilly, instead you and bonehead Jim decided to attack. On top of that the mistress of Kuromormine made you the fool," said Archie then giving Ryan a shove.

Ryan not wanting to take it shoved back.

Archie then pushed.

"Guys, let's calm down," said Miho knowing well where this was going.

Her words were ignored as Ryan pushed Archie to the ground and went on top of him as they both began to roll and wrestle.

All the girls began to back up not wanting to be caught in the scuffle.

Then two large arms moved between the two hotheads and with a mighty push separated them, "alright, that's enough!" said Bram stepping between the two of them. Jimmy quickly seized Ryan.

"That's enough man, we're friends here!" said Jim.

"Stop it!" cried Emma. Ryan immediately stopped. Then she turned to run.

"Emma!" cried Miho going after her immediately.

"Alright, what's going on here!" yelled Allen marching right in putting immediate authority in the garage with Ami right behind him. He scanned the boys noticing the sweat and bruises. "Was there a fight Ryan?"

"Yes sir!" said Ryan.

"Sounds to me you still have some fight, BOYs! About face! You will run laps around the school, until I'm tired! Move it!" commanded Ryan.

"Good going," whispered Archie.

"Hey you struck first," whispered Ryan.

"Both of you shut up," whispered Bram.

"Thanks Bram," whispered Ryan.

"Don't thank me, I'm angry at you also laddie," whispered Bram.

"Do I hear talking, I said move it!" yelled Allen with even more commander in his voice, making the boys run. Allen ran alongside them spouting all kinds of nonsense.

All the girls began to talk amongst themselves of what they just saw.

"How will we win?" asked Ceasar.

"Orca team looks broken," said Azusa.

"He has shamed us all," said Momo.

Miho thinking quickly, "everyone let's get to practice," then turning to her team, "get everyone to the field, I'll get Emma."

"Hai," said Saori. Anglerfish team lead the girls out for practice.

Miho made her way to the ammunition store and saw Emma curled in a corner crying a little. She walked towards her and bent down to her level, "Emma, are you ok?"

Emma looked up, her eyes were red, "oh Miho, my team is falling apart, all because of me. If I hadn't gotten jumped, this would not be happening."

Miho only stood trying to think of the right words to say, because now she was the older sister. What would Onee-chan do in this situation, she thought. She then wrapped both arms around Emma gently and caressing her hair, "no Emma, it's not your fault. Boys fight every now and then, this is not the end of your team, we will just win the next match so you can all come back," said Miho.

Emma looked at her sister and actually began to feel a bit better. "Now why don't you go home early, when I get back I'll make some good food tonight," said Miho.

"Ok!" said Emma going home.

Ooarai Airfield…

Tsuneo had just arrived by helicopter to access the two P-51s black box to get the data of the attack. Setting up the laptop and a cord to connect to the P-51's cameras. The download did not take long and then moved to Jimmy's plane and did the same. Download was complete and now he went to the helicopter and got aboard. "Back to Tokyo," he ordered.

"Yes sir," said his pilot.

Tsuneo then began to go through the data he had gathered, then his phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Tsuneo," said Eric, "did you find anything?"

"Just going through the data, hopefully we can find something that will help both our sons," said Tsuneo.

"Does not look good, looks like we may have to bend the knee to any demand they want," said Eric.

With a sigh Tsuneo agreed, until he watched a particular feed, "hold on, I got something."

"What is it?" said Eric.

"Something that will at least stop there jail time threat and protect the company's interest," said Tsuneo. "I'm sending you the data, get it to our law department."

"Got it, hope your right," said Eric.

SDF HQ…

In a conference room Renta, Shiho, and Kamada. It was almost noon, the meeting would begin soon.

Then the door opened and in walked in Eric, Tsuneo, and Rebecca Whitener.

"Ah, have a seat," gestured Kamada.

Tsuneo sat directly across from Shiho being flanked by his two collogues giving her a stare, Shiho in turn also stared.

"Now on to business," said Renta with a smirk trying to get a rise out of Tsuneo, however Tsuneo looked rather calm with a stoic look.

Then Shiho began to speak, "Arrow Strike has clearly been irresponsible with the training of their pilots, do they teach attacking tanks?"

"No," answered Tsuneo.

"Then we all know Arrow Strike is in the wrong, therefore we demand respiration for the damage, suspension of Asuka Ryan flying license, and Arrow Strike will dismantle it's upcoming tankery program," said Renta.

Tsuneo did not like how Renta was speaking, was ready to chew his ear off, but then Rebecca whispered, "let me take it from here."

"I am Rebecca Whitener, head of the law department for Arrow Strike. We are prepared to go with some of the demands, although dismantling our upcoming tankery program is out of the question," she said in a tone that screamed authority and confidence.

"No, we will accept nothing less," said Renta, "either Arrow Strike goes with our demands or else we shall pursue legal action against Ryan Asuka.

"Since we are on the subject of legal action, we have something to show you all, Mr. Crockett, if you would," said Rebecca.

Eric was on his laptop pulling something up, ready to show them the only edge they have, ladies, gentlemen, something you all need to see," he said turning his laptop.

The three of them looked at the laptop and the recording. "What you are seeing is Ryan's camera on his plane.

"What are you showing us?" asked Shiho.

"Just keep watching," said Tsuneo.

Then they came upon the scene where Ryan was getting ready to attack Maho, but then they saw the Koinstiger taking aim and shooting him and could see he narrowly avoided it.

Shiho raised an eyebrow wondering at first. "What was the point of that?"

"Ms. Nishizumi, do you teach your students to kill?" asked Rebecca.

Shiho then knew what she was implicating, "no."

"Then know this, pursue charges against Ryan, we shall make our own suit against a Itsumi Erika for attempted murder, a plane could not survive the shot, yet whether she knew this or not, fired anyway, in fact several of your girls took shots," stated Rebecca.

Renta sensing things were getting out of his control hit the table, "they were defending themselves!" he exclaimed.

"Yes, perhaps these young kids forgot they are playing with dangerous toys. Ms. Nishizumi, you're a headmistress. Perhaps disciplinary action should be required for this case instead of full legal action," suggested Rebecca. "You care for your students?"

Shiho was now faced with a challenge, this was a skilled lawyer, definetly not no ordinary one, someone familiar with laws of other countries. While she wanted to get rid of the tankery program, still looking at Tsuneo she was conflicted.

"Anyways, we have a settlement that should be satisfactory to you," said Rebecca.

"Here you are Ms.," said Eric sliding over a file.

Shiho opened the file and looked at the terms.

Reparation will be given through 3rd part arbitration.

Ryan Asuka and Jimmy Crockett will be suspended indefinitely, his license taken away, and plane taken.

Both boys shall repair all damages.

Shiho thought of this for a moment, she would get money for damages and the boys were being punished with in satisfactory, however she wanted something more. "I have more demands."

Rebecca now raised an eyebrow.

"Oh and what would that be Shiho?" asked Tsuneo.

"Ms. Nishzumi, are you just giving up, we could fight them," said Renta.

"Renta, may I remind you that it was Kuromormine that was attacked, I'm surprised your even here," said Tsuneo.

Renta gritted his teeth.

"Renta, he's correct, so silence. Now as for the demands, I do not like the idea of boys at my school, however fixing the tanks is agreeable. As for the licenses, I want them and shall return them when I see fit, same with their planes," demanded Shiho.

"You can't be serious, go back to the original settlement," said Tsuneo not happy with her arrangement.

"Mr. Asuka, a word," said Rebecca then turning to the SDF, "we wish for a five minute recess."

"Very well," said Kamada.

In a separate room, the three Arrow Strike Reps began to go over what had happened. "Rebecca, can't we avoid giving the plane a license to Shiho," said Tsuneo.

"I second that," said Eric.

"Afraid not, remember our main task was to protect the tankery program and then your son, we have achieved both objectives," said Rebecca.

"Can't you beat the SDF in court?" asked Eric.

"In truth the real chances are fifty, fifty, however Shiho is aware of this fact as well. So it seems she will just settle things out, but these extra demands were unexpected, nothing I can do," said Rebecca.

With a sigh, "alright," said Tsuneo.

"Then we have no choice," said Eric.

The three of them returned to the room and took there seats.

"Do we have an agreement?" asked Shiho.

"Yes," said Rebecca.

"Hold up," said Kamada. "There is something else."

"Yes?" said Eric.

"Well you see we would like to borrow two of Arrow Strike's famous commentators Tim and Jerry," said Kamada.

"What's the meaning of this?" said Shiho.

"What, the tournament finals need some spicing up," said Kamada.

Shiho with a sigh, "very well."

"It's fine, we can work out details later," said Eric.

"Now then," said Rebecca setting up the paperwork, "our signatures."

After the meeting, everyone was leaving, Renta had a scowl not happy with the results. Tsuneo was on his way out.

"Tsuneo," called Shiho.

Tsuneo turned around to face his ex-wife once more, "you wish to talk."

She gave a nod, both of them went into a private room. "What is it this time?" asked Tsuneo.

"Can you guarantee me your son will be on his best behavior?" asked Shiho.

"That won't be an issue, you will find my son to be well behaved so long as you are fair," said Tsuneo. "However you may punish him as you see fit, since it is your school."

"We shall see," said Shiho.

"Again are you telling me the truth about those girls?" asked Tsuneo looking at Shiho straight in the eyes. However he looked, and they still maintained the very same gaze, not even looking away or down, just straight into his eyes.

"Yes," answered Shiho.

"I see, you know, sometimes I wish we could go back to when things once were, do you?" asked Tsuneo.

"Yes," said Shiho, "however what's done is done."

"So you still have feelings for me," said Tsuneo.

"Do you feel the same about me?" asked Shiho.

"I don't know, still despite everything, in my eyes you are still beautiful," said Tsuneo.

The compliment was unexpected an made Shiho blush briefly, "your daughter has talent," she said trying to change the subject, "I'd like to meet her someday."

"That will be entirely up to her, unlike you, I let my kids meet people, Maho has a right to see her father," said Tsuneo.

"This conversation is over, if your son messes up, I'll keep his license forever," said Shiho taking her leave.

Tsuneo saw her walk out the door, he in turn decided to take leave.

Miho's Dorm…

Miho was cooking some food for her two siblings. , her door opened and in came Ryan who was worn out.

"Ryan, how long did you run?" asked Emma.

"Until sun down, man I'm beat, still Archie and Bram did not talk to me, what have I done," said Ryan.

Miho wanted to say something, but she did not know what to say, for what it looks like, Orca team was broken for now.

Then Ryan cell rung, "Hello?"

"Son, a decision, has been made," said Tsuneo.

"What is it?" asked Ryan putting the phone on speaker so Miho and Emma could hear.

"You and Jimmy are to fly to Kuromormine and turn over your planes and licenses to Shiho and shall keep them until she see fits to return them," said Tsuneo.

"What?!" exclaimed Ryan, "you can't be serious."

"That was the decision Ryan, accept it, it's the best deal we could get, furthermore you will spend a week there to fix the damage," said Tsuneo.

"Dad, was that really all you could do?" asked Ryan.

"Son, it was, however don't let this bring you down, you will fly again someday," said Tsuneo. "Until then accept your punishment like a man. Now any more questions?"

"Was she telling the truth," said Ryan.

"Yes," said Tsuneo.

"How do you know that?" asked Ryan.

"Because even after all these years, she was always honest," said Tsuneo.

"How do you know she hasn't changed?" asked Ryan.

"She hasn't though her feelings for me, I am still not certain," said Tsuneo. "Now anymore questions?"

"No sir," said Ryan.

"Good get some good rest, you will need it," said Tsuneo.

"Ryan?" said Emma worried for her brother.

"I'll be fine," said Ryan.

Dinner that night was quite, Ryan did not say a word and went back to his dorm without a word.

"Miho will Ryan be ok?" asked Emma.

"He will, I just hope he'll be ok when he goes to Kuromormine," said Miho.

Ooarai Airfield…

Ryan and Jimmy were getting ready to fly there planes one last time. Anglerfish team was there to see them off. Bram and Archie did not show up. Emma already left for school not wanting to see her brother leave, even if it made her sad.

Miho walked up to Ryan, "Ryan, just be careful."

"I will," said Ryan, "can you do one thing for me?" he requested.

"Hai, what is it?" said Miho.

"Take care of Emma for me," said Ryan.

"I will," said Miho.

Then Miho got a sudden hug from Ryan. "Thank you."

Miho returned it. Her friends looked on as if some sort of relationship was developing. Saori could not help but look on in some jealousy.

"Hey do I get a hug?" asked Jimmy.

"Let's go Jim," said Ryan.

"Oh," said a saddened Jimmy walking over to his plane.

The planes made their way to the runway and then took off to Kuromormine.

"Miporin, will they be alright?" asked Yukari.

"They will be," said Miho. "I just hope they don't cause him too much trouble."

"Is Kuromormine that tough?" asked Hana.

"No it's almost like here, but a bit more disciplined," said Miho.
