Chapter 4

"Mommy! Daddy! Wake up!" Sarah yelled while shaking her parents awake.

"Huh! What's happening!?" Leonard said, quickly sitting up while Penny pulled the blanket to cover herself.

"We're gonna be late for Disneyland!" Sarah yelled, shaking him up. "Come on daddy! Get off the bed!" she added, pulling her father off the bed.

"Ugh...Disneyland isn't going anywhere honey!" said Leonard, shaking himself awake.

Sarah then started pulling on her mother. "Mommy come on...hurry up!" she said.

"What is your problem!" Penny yelled, rolling over and giving her daughter a serious look.

Sarah flinched a little. "But I don't want us to be late for Disneyland mommy...I want to see Mickey and Minnie." she said.

"They're not going anywhere sweetheart!" Penny said, getting off the bed before putting her robe on, following Leonard out of the bedroom. Sarah immediately jumped and ran out of the room, banging on William's door.

"Brother wake up! We're going to Disneyland!" she yelled. "I'm gonna take a shower!" she added before running to the bathroom, slamming the door shut.
Leonard and Penny looked at each other and sighed, shaking their heads in disbelief at how excited their daughter can get when it comes to the stuff she loves. They went downstairs to prepare a light breakfast as their kids get ready in the bathroom. After almost fifteen minutes, the kids entered the kitchen all dressed up for their trip with William wearing his light pants and shirt while Sarah wore her cute skirt and floral top.

"Wow...you guys look great!" said Leonard. "Now let's eat so we could get out of here." he said, serving some bacon and eggs on their plates as he drank coffee from his cup.

"You guys go ahead, I'm gonna take a quick shower." said Penny, giving her husband a quick kiss before heading out into the bathroom.

"Do you want me to join you?" Leonard jokingly said, earning a stern look from Penny.

"Leonard!?" Penny yelled.

"Wow...you really are a great dad saying those things in front of you children!" William said.

"You guys are so gross!" Sarah added, making William laugh.

"Okay I'm sorry...let's just get back to breakfast…" he said.

"You're in trouble now dad." William said, teasing his father.

"I know...just finish your breakfast so we can get out of here...let's just hope we don't hit too much traffic today." he said as they finish eating breakfast, telling his kids to brush their teeth and get their stuff ready. Buster came running into the house, excited in thinking that he's coming with them Disneyland.

"Hey boy...I'm sorry but we're not allowed to take you with us." said Sarah, making the dog jump and bark at her. "I want to bring you with us but daddy said there's no place for you in the park...and we'll be in trouble if you make a mess over there..." she added, hoping Buster would understand. "Don't worry, I'll make sure to bring something home for you...okay?" she added as the dog clawed and pushed his face to her neck, licking and whimpering at her. "Aww..you're such a sweet boy." Sarah said as the dog laid on the floor, looking at her with sad eyes.

After half an hour, the young family went out of the house and into the driveway where their car is parked. Sarah was the most excited of them, getting on the backseat and quickly putting her seat-belt on, telling her brother to do the same.

"Hurry up big brother! We'll be late!" Sarah said, making her parents laugh.

"Relax! Mickey and Minnie aren't going anywhere." William snapped back as he clicked his seat-belt into place.

"Alright cut it out!" Leonard said as he put the car into gear before driving out into the street. "Who's excited to go to Disneyland!?" he exclaimed.

"Yay!" the kids exclaimed.

They arrived at Disneyland after almost an hour with Leonard parking the car on an empty slot. "Okay we're here. I want you guys to promise me one thing alright?" he said as he and Penny faced their kids.

"What is it daddy?" asked Sarah.

"That you won't wander off and always stay with me and your mom." said Leonard.

"You got it dad." said William as the couple looked at their daughter, knowing how headstrong she could be.

"Okay daddy...I promise." said Sarah.

"Well you better...I don't know what I'll do if any of you goes missing inside the park..." said Penny.

"Don't worry mom, if I some creepy stranger comes up to me and tries to give me candy, I'll scream 'stranger danger!'" said Sarah, making the couple smile.

"Good...you're so smart." Penny said, kissing her daughter while helping her out of the car while Leonard took the backpack containing some of their stuff - a couple of face towels, his inhaler, a couple of shirts for the kids and some of Penny's stuff.

The young family made their way to the gate, getting through the turnstiles and joining the other people coming into the park. Penny held Sarah's hand so she won't go wandering about and get lost in the sea of people in the park, knowing how easily distracted the young lady can be especially when it come to her favorite cartoon characters.

"William look! What's that!?" Sarah exclaimed, pointing at a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique while pulling on his hand.

"It looks like a place where you can get a princess makeover...look, some of the girls are wearing a princess dress." he said making the young girl overly excited.

"Mommy can we do that? Please!?" Sarah said, pulling on her mother's hand.

"Oh sweetheart!?" Penny said. "I thought you wanted to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse?" she asked.

"I do...please mommy!? Daddy please!?" Sarah said, asking for her father's help.

"Honey come...it's their day today...William and I can just go around and check out the shops while we're waiting for you guys." said Leonard, not wanting to make the young lady throw a tantrum.

Penny pulled her daughter. "Fine...let's go." she said.

"Yay...bye daddy!" Sarah said, waving at her father.

"Have fun you two!" Leonard said, waving back at her daughter. "Come on buddy, let's check out those shops...I'm sure your mom and sister are gonna have so much fun in there." he said, making the young man laugh.

"Mom may not want to to admit it, but she and Sarah are like peas in a pod." said William, making his father laugh.

"I couldn't have said it better myself." he said as they entered a gift shop and started looking around to kill some time while the girls get their princess makeover.

After looking around a few gift shops for almost forty minutes, Leonard and William came back, seeing Sarah in her princess dress with a light makeup and to their surprise, Penny too.

"Honey?" Leonard asked his wife.

"Well...they have a makeover for grownups too and this young lady insisted on me having it...so, how do we look?" said Penny.

Leonard looked at his wife and daughter, smiling at how beautiful they were. "You guys look amazing." he said, going down on one knee to take a closer look at his daughter. "You're a real princess now honey." he added.

"Thanks dad...that was so much fun." said Sarah.

Leonard stood up and held his wife's hand. "And who are you supposed to be?" he said, giving he a smug smile.

"She's Princess Aurora daddy!" Sarah butted in.

"And who's Princess Aurora?" asked Leonard, impressed at how knowledgeable his daughter can be when it come to princess stuff.

"Sleeping Beauty daddy!" Sarah said.

"Really? Well it think it's a great choice." he said before holding his wife's hand. "Come on...we don't want to miss out on taking a picture with Mickey and Minnie." he said as Sarah ran in front of them, excited in starting their tour of the park.

"Come on! Let's go!" Sarah exclaimed, hopping along in front of them while humming a song. William followed his sister behind so she won't run off somewhere while the couple kept a watchful eye on their kids.

"I know what you're thinking Leonard." said Penny, giving him a suspicious look.

"I don't know what you're talking about." he said, unable to hide his smug smile.

"Really...then how come you can't wipe that smug smile off your face!?" she said, looking sternly at him.

Leonard finally surrendered, knowing that he's been busted. "Aww come on Penny...can't you give this one to me?" he said.

"And what are you thinking of?" Penny asked.

Leonard looked on the ground for a while and decided to come clean, hoping Penny would understand. "Well...you know...it's kind of a turn on for me to...you know...do it with a princess..." he said in a low voice, giving her a weak smile.

Penny took a deep breath. "Okay listen me...as much as I find your sudden enthusiasm appealing and creepy at the same time...you need to hold your horses Hofstadter!" she said.

"Okay I'm sorry..." he said, hoping his wife would let it go.

Penny smiled and kissed his cheek. "Fine...I'll let you have sex with me tonight...but for now, you have a job to do and be a good father to your kids." she said, pushing him lightly forward.

"As you wish, your royal highness!" he jokingly said, making Penny laugh as he followed his son and daughter, making sure his kids don't wander off.

The young family made sure to visit every ride and attraction in Disneyland with Sarah seemingly having unlimited energy, making every moment count whether in trying out everything or getting her hands on every kind of food that the park has to offer.

"Aren't you tired at all?" William asked his sister.

"Of course not...why do you think I'm filling up with candy every chance I get?" Sarah asked her brother.

"What are you talking about?" he asked.

"Daddy told me that candy is made up of mostly sugar, and sugar give us energy. That's why I don't feel tired, so I won't miss anything. Got it?" Sarah said, making her parents laugh.

"She's right buddy." said Leonard.

"See that? I'm pretty..and smart!" Sarah added, making Penny laugh. "Just like mommy!"

"You are smart sweetie!" Penny said. "Now come on, let's get a nice place so you can see the parade clearly." she added, pulling Sarah to her side.

"Come on buddy..." Leonard said, lightly ruffling his son's hair as they follow the girls.

After spending the whole day in Disneyland, the young family capped off their trip with watching the fireworks display over the castle. Leonard was already carrying his daughter as she rested her head on his shoulder while looking at the colorful lights filling the night sky. She yawned, signalling that her energy finally ran out as she slowly closed her eyes and pushed her face on Leonard's neck before drifting off to sleep. The couple looked at their daughter and smiled, thankful that she didn't threw a tantrum or give them a hard time.

Penny then pulled her son close, kissing him on his head. "Did you have a good time sweetheart?"

"I did mom...thanks for bringing us here." said William, giving his mother a weak smile.

"Awww...you're welcome sweetheart!" said Penny, lightly hugging him. "Now come on, I want to go home so I can take this ridiculous dress off." she said as they make their way back to the car. Leonard carefully put Sarah on the backseat, putting her seat belt on while William did the same for himself. "Ugh thank god it's all over...I'm so tired." she said as she sat on the front seat while Leonard put the car in gear, slowly backing from the parking slot before joining the other cars leaving the park for the night.

They arrived after and hour with William and Sarah fast asleep in the back, their energy completely drained from trying everything Disneyland had to offer. Leonard carried Sarah in his arms while Penny woke up her son, telling him to brush his teeth and go straight to bed. William rubbed his eyes and did what his mother told him, taking a couple of plastic bags with him containing a few souvenirs that they bought from the park. Penny took the other bags, following Leonard into the house as they put the young lady into her bed, taking off her shoes and loosening her dress so she would be comfortable in her sleep. The couple looked at the young lady and can't help but smile at how peaceful their daughter slept.

"Look at her honey...no matter how much she keeps us at our toes, she's still so adorable..." Penny said, putting her head on Leonard's shoulder.

"I know...I'd do anything just to keep her safe and happy..." said Leonard, putting his arm around her. "Now...what do you say we go back to our bedroom and do some stuff..." he said as he closed his daughter's bedroom door.

"Ugh...honey...aren't you tired at all?" Penny said as Leonard pulled her gently towards their bedroom.

"Don't worry honey...I'm gonna do all the work." he said as he locked the door, pulling her close to kiss her lips.

"Leonard, I already smell funny..." Penny said.

Leonard slowly turned her around, undoing the zipper on her dress and slowly taking if off. "Oh on little miss...you're mine now..." he said as he started kissing her, undoing the last pieces of clothing she had before pushing her onto the bed. Penny relented, grabbing hold of her husband and never letting him go while trying to yank his clothes off.

"You did really great today honey." she whispered as Leonard nibbled on her neck.

"Uh huh...tell me..." he whispered back.

"You were just...the perfect father to the kids...and I appreciate that..." she said as Leonard held her tight before moving in.

"It's my job right?" he said, trying to concentrate.

"Shut up and do your job as my husband." she said as they made love under the covers.
