It had been a month since Sango had her nightmare. For the first few nights, Leo made her sleep in his room, just in case, which Sango didn't complain. Sango was sure that her uncles knew about her nightmare cause they were at her side every second. She even at her naptime she slept in their rooms too. There was even a time where Uncle Mikey wrapped her in a burrito blanket and fed her ice cream.

Sango was with her Aunt Karai and Aunt Shinigami at the mall. Usually, her Aunt April and Uncle Casey would be there, but April was busy with work as a reporter and Casey had to do paperwork. The three of them were looking at clothes and wondering which clothes fits and suits Sango best. The other thing Sango loved about living in the modern era was the fashion. She found the fashion in this era very new, fresh, and pretty. There were types of fashion that she didn't even know. Sango love clothes and she didn't mind what she wore as long as she approved it. She wished back at the Sengoku Era had more variety when it comes to fashion.

"What do you think of this one, Sango?" Karai asked.

Her aunt held up a short sleeve black dress that had a light blue pleated skirt and a silver belt. With it was a Demin jacket. Eyes widened, Sango nodded causing Karai to giggle. Shinigami held up a pair of skull earrings.

"Aunt Shini, I can't wear earrings yet," Sango said.

"I know," Shinigami smirked. "That doesn't stop me to buy them for you."

Karai sighed and shook her head as if it wasn't the first time Shinigami did something like this. When they paid the clothes, the girls headed over to the food court. Shinigami bought them some okonomiyaki. Karai bought the drinks, which were boba tea. Sango got strawberry boba, while Karai got mocha and Shinigami got passionfruit. While Sango ate her lunch, she listened what her aunts were talking to one another. They were talking about the usual stuff; new recruits, training sessions, meetings with other ninja clans, and fixing the ways of the Foot.

"How are you enjoying your okonomiyaki?" Karai asked.

"It's very good!" Sango grinned.

Sango couldn't help, but eat in big bites. She remembered during her adventures, whenever Kagome would bring her food from the modern era, she would bring chips, sweets, instant noodles, instant curry, and premade bento boxes. Now Sango thought about it, Kagome did brought a lot of junk and instant food. Bento boxes were the close thing she had for healthy foods.

Karai giggled. "The ones in Japan are better. My favorite is the Osaka version."

"Actually, the Hiroshima one is better," Shinigami said.

Karai pursed her lips. "Shini, we're not going to have that discussion again." then she muttered in Sango's ear. "Osaka's better."

"No, Hiroshima," Shinigami whispered to Sango's other ear.

Sango giggled as she her okonomiyaki, while she ate her lunch, Karai's cellphone rang. Quickly, her aunt walked away as she took the call. When she finished her lunch, Sango drank her boba tea and chewing on the tapioca pearls. When Karai finished her call, she went back to the table, looking a bit angry, but concern. Shinigami frowned and put a hand on her wife's shoulder.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"That was our facility in Japan," Karai answered. "Someone broke in, stole some documents, and the mutagen."

"Wh-What?!" Shinigami exclaimed. "H-How? It's difficult to break in."

"I know, that's why you and I are going to Tokyo this weekend."

Sango's eyes widened as she heard that last part. They're going to Japan this week?! Was this her chance, wasn't it? This has to be a sign. Sango didn't expected this moment to come, but she knew she needed to take this opportunity. It was no or never.

"Can I go to Japan too?" Sango asked.

Her aunts looked at her with shock. Sango just use her innocent child-like smile and blinked her eyes a few times. A good thing about being in a child's body was that she could use her innocent and cuteness to her advantage.

Sighing, Karai put an arm over her shoulder. "Sango, as much as I would like you to experience Japan, I don't think Leo would let you."

Sango pouted. "I know, but I've always wanted to go! I want to go to a history museum and go to Higurashi Shrine. Chichiue, Uncle Raphie, Donnie, and Mikey taught me a lot, but I wanted to learn it face to face! Also, they never been to Japan before. I could be their eyes! I could take pictures for them and bring souvenirs home!"

"I don't know Sango..."

"Can you try to convince Chichiue? Please?"

Sango looked up at her aunt with her puppy dog eyes ad held her hand. Karai stared at her and blinked a few times. She opened her mouth, but closed it. When she looked over at Shinigami, her wife just looked away, drinking her boba and staring up at the ceiling as if it was interesting. Sango held her aunt's hand tighter. As much as Sango knew there was a good chance her father would refuse, but she knew at least she tried.

Karai sighed. "I'll talk to Leo about it, but if he says no, it means no, okay?"

Sango nodded. "Okay!"

Smiling, Karai patted her head. "Good girl."

After they finished their drinks, the three continued their shopping. Sango didn't bought that much aside from accessories. She adored accessories. She had seen Kagome wore some in the past and she even made her wear some too. She mainly like the ones for hair, but she does like others like bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. Although, she does want to buy some eyeshadow like how she wore in the past, but she knew she'll have to wait until she's older cause she knew that her father wouldn't let her wear makeup.

When they were done, Sango bought some ribbons and headbands, while her aunts bought some makeup and shoes. The rest were Sango's new clothes. As her aunts were driving, Sango wondered if she should try to convinced Leo to let her go, but at the same time she wasn't sure if she should interfere. Whatever happens, happens, Sango thought.

By the time when Sango got home, she saw her family playing video games and having pizza, which was something they always do whenever she was at the surface. Either that or they just train.

"I'm home!" Sango called.

Right away, Leo dropped his controller and raced over to her, not caring that he lost the game. He hugged her, not too tightly. Then he held her up, spinning her around. Sango squealed and laughed. When Leo put her down, she held onto his leg.

"How's my llittle hime?" Leo asked. "Did you have fun? Were you good to your aunties?"

Sango grinned. "Yeah! I got new clothes!"

Leo chuckled and patted her head. "Why not you show me what you got?"

Gasping, Sango eagerly nodded. She took her bags and raced into her room. It didn't took her long enough to find the new dress she got and the earrings. Sango wondered how would Leo react to see these types of earrings. When she got to the living area, Leo and her Aunt Karai were nowhere in sight. Frowning, Sango pursed her lips. She quietly headed over to the kitchen, making sure her steps weren't too noticeable. As she slowly peaked inside, only her Aunt Shinigami was there, heating up two pizzas. Sango guessed the other was for Karai. The dojo, Sango thought. Sango headed over to the dojo, while her uncles were too distracted by their activities. Silently, she hid at the wall where a shadow was covering her. She didn't want her father and aunts to notice her through the folded paper doors.

"She what?!" Leo exclaimed.

"Yeah, Sango wants to go with us to Japan," Karai clarified.

Sango heard Leo sighed. "I don't know about this. If she was older, I understand, but Sango's not. She's only four!"

"I know, but if you think about it, she'll only be there for three days. Three days would fly pass easily. Sango won't be involve with Foot business cause I'll have someone to look after her. Also I'll put on a tracker on her, like you guys did. Besides, she told me there are a couple of places she wanted to visit."

"Which is?"

"A history museum and Higurashi Shrine."

"Anything else?"

"Sango wants to be your eyes when she's at Japan, since you guys obviously can't go."

Then there was silence. Leo made another sigh which caused Sango to tensed up. Sango knew she could only go to the surface as long as she had someone to look after her. However, Sango had a feeling what the answer might be. Even though she was dreading it, but she knew she tried. Maybe she should've tried to call Kagome instead, but that'll be weird how she knew her and there was a good chance that she might not believe her until she saw her for herself.

"So you'll make sure Sango will have a tracker with her?" Leo asked.

"Yeah, I'll make sure," Karai assured him. "I'll even give you the coordinates too, if that makes you feel better."

"I'll let you take her," Leo finally answered.

"S-Seriously?!" Karai gasped.

Eyes widened, Sango clasped her hands over her mouth. She couldn't believed what she was hearing. She thought her father would refuse and let her go until she was older. Sango didn't expected him to agree to this.

Leo let out a faint chuckle. "Yeah. Sango needs to experience the surface. She can't stay down here forever. She's human after all. It's a once in a lifetime."

"Aw, Leo you're such a good father!" Karai cooed.

Leo grumbled. "Shut up, sis."

With a deep breath, Sango smiled as she got out of her hiding spot, running over to her father. Leo and Karai turned. A smile grew across Leo's face as Sango held up her dress.

"I like this one, Chichiue!" Sango said. "It's blue like you!"

"Really?" Leo raised a brow. "Do you want to wear a blue mask when you finally become a kunoichi?"

Sango shook her head. "No, I like pink!"

"Pink does fit her best, little bro," Karai said.

Leo rolled his eyes, pouted a bit, and uttered how blue looks good on everyone. Sango giggled. Even though Sango does wear blue at times, but she does favor pink more. Besides, even in her past life she favor pink.

"So, your auntie told me you wanted to go to Japan with her." Leo said.

Sango nodded. "Can I go?"

"Yes, as long as you listen and behave."

"I will! I promise, Chichiue!"

"That's my girl!"

Leo kissed her check and he set her down, patting her head. Before Karai and Leo could discuss the arrangements, Sango took her father's head, dragging him out of the dojo, wanting to tell her uncles and aunt the good news. As much as Sango was glad her plan was going well, but she knew that being at Japan would be the tricky part. However, Sango knew she needed to be patient. She already got this far. There was no way she was going to mess this up.
