Chapter 3

"There had been a new discovery," Neville answered, as he looked between the witch, and the large man standing with the septar. He unconsciously rubbed his chest, where the man knocked the wind out of him.

Draco rolled his eyes, as he knelt down in front of the witch, "Hermione," he noticed as Arthur raised a brow, before turning his attention back to the witch. "They lost Greyback."

"How did you lose him?" Asked the witch.

"Harry said that the department found his location, but when they sent a couple of Arora's, their bodies were sent back in pieces," Answered Neville, as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"They got his pack though, he just managed to escape, and he found some polyjuice potion from one of the shops, so he could be anyone, but as far as we know he doesn't have a clue as to where you are," The blonde tried to assure, a little uncertainty showing in his eyes.

"We came to tell you, that we won't be checking in on you, in case people start to expect that we might know your location," Neville answered, sitting beside the witch and pulling her into a hug.

The witch cried as she thought about losing the only contact, with the other people back in England. She looked up towards Arthur then popped out of the hug, after pulling away from her friends.

"Where'd she go?" Arthur asked, feeling concerned for the witch.

"She hates saying goodbye," Neville answered, looking at the man, whose house they were occupying, "I don't either, for that matter." He shooked the man's hand, before vanishing much as the witch had.

Draco just rolled his eyes, as he approached the man, and rested a hand on his shoulder, "Can you keep an eye on her, she is a really important person to a lot of people."

The Atlantian didn't know what came over him, but he found himself nodding, "You have my word." He looked confused for a moment, "Wh-"

"She's still nearby, you'll find her," Assured the blonde, before apperating out of sight.

Just like that, he was standing alone in his house.

Hermione had apparated to the top of the lighthouse, not caring that she was trespassing, and just wanting peace, 'I guess I really am alone now.' She didn't move, as the large man came and stood beside her, "Please, just let me have five minutes up here, it's the most beautiful view from this town."

"You're not alone, Hermione," Arthur, who used one of his many gifts commented, as he placed a hand on her shoulder uncertainly.

She stiffened at the use of her real name, then sighed already knowing that some Atlantians had the gift of telepathy, "Mia, is what my dad use to call me. That is why I chose it for my name when they told me to go into hiding."

"I'm sorry I won't use your name, M-" He paused when he felt her small hand against his flannel-covered chest. He stared down into her eyes, seeing so much emotion.

She reached her hand up, and felt the tips of his hair, " I missed hearing my old name," she was now focusing on the strands, "You're hair is so soft."

He leaned in to whisper in her ear, his breath brushing against her skin, "Baby shampoo keeps my hair soft even with all types of weather, and change of the atmosphere. Don't tell anyone."

She stepped back, with a wide smile on her face. "It works for you, and I am sure Henry already knows."

"I order online," He ran his fingers through his hair, and smiled enjoying the fact he had brought a smile to her face, "So you want to go have breakfast at Mrs. Malligan's cafe if you're hungry."

"Arthur, it's six in the evening," The witch laughed, showing him her watch.

He wiggled his eyebrows with a smirk, "That is true, but breakfast tastes good any time of the day, especially Joyce's meaty omelets."

"Can't argue with that, can I?" The woman laughed, as she started to make her way down the tower. She screamed when she was suddenly pulled by the waist, and flying or leaping through the air.

He smiled down at her glaring face, as he started leading her towards the town, "I saved us a little more foot time."

"No, you were showing off, giving me a heart attack in the process," Hermione accused, stepping out of his large arms, which she didn't want to think about at the moment of her being mad. "I am afraid of heights."

He raised an eyebrow, "Really."

"Why would I lie about that?" She growled, walking ahead of him.

He really enjoyed getting her riled up.
