Sango spent her last day in Japan by just having fun. She tried all kinds of food and went to some store to buy anything she thought she might like. She even went to the Pokemon Center store and a Studio Ghibli museum, buying a lot of things. Not only for herself, but also for her family. Karai and Shinigami took her to tons of local restaurants and tons of street food, which Sango found it to be very enjoyable. She even bought some Japanese fox masks - a white mask with red markings, the second was similar, but with blue and black markings, a black mask with gold markings, a black and white mask that resembled yin and yang, and a white mask with pink markings and cherry blossoms. They even went to a mall and bought some clothes. Of course, like always, Karai kept Leo updated on what was going on, which wasn't a surprised.

When noon hit, Sango had her last meal at a fancy restaurant that Karai booked. She tried tons of traditional meals, which she recognized. As much as Sango enjoyed everything she experienced, she wished her father and uncles were here with her. She wanted to share the experience with them, but she knew she was their eyes to see what they couldn't experience. However, she couldn't wait to tell them what happened, aside from the whole meeting her old friends and the whole reincarnation thing. Sango wasn't sure if she should tell them or not. Would it make a difference?

After a couple of hours, Sango and her aunts finished their meals. They packed all of their belongings and went to the airport. Before Sango stepped inside, she turned around. For some reason, she felt Inuyasha's eyes were on her. It was like as if he was seeing her off. As much as Sango knew she wished things were different, but she knew she couldn't change the past. Her love for Inuyasha...she knew she couldn't go back to it, no matter how much she wanted to. Sango knew she needed to move on and she knew she will, As much as it hurts, but it's life. Her life! Sango knew she will find new love some day. A love that she always wanted. Sango let out a sigh. She nodded to herself and waved. Sango didn't care how odd it was for her to be doing this. She was glad she gets to go home and see her family again, but at the same time she was sad that she'll miss her old friends. However, Sango knew that one day she'll come back to Japan. She'll finally see Inuyasha. Then Sango stepped onto the airplane as she and her aunts sat at their assigned seats.

When the plane too off, during the whole ride home, her aunts fell asleep, while she just watched some movies. She wasn't tired. She was sad, but happy at the same time. She got her closure and she could finally move on. Then the phone rang. Sango looked around and saw Karai's phone was ringing. On the icon, there was a picture of Sango herself, with Leo. Right away, Sango took her aunt's phone and answered it.

"Hello?" Sango greeted.

"Sango?!" Leo exclaimed. "Why are you answering your aunt's phone?"

"Auntie Karai is sleeping," Sango said.

Leo scoffed. "Of course she is." he chuckled to himself and sighed. "So, excited to come home, hime?"

"Uh-huh! I can't wait! I miss you so much! How's Uncle Raphie, Donnie, and Mikey?"

"They clearly miss you. I miss you too."

Sango blinked. "You do?"

Leo gasped. "What kind of question is that? Of course I miss you! What kind of a person you think I am?! Your aunt has been keeping me updated cause you were busy having a blast in Japan."

"You're talking to Sango?!" Mikey's voice spoke. "Can I talk to her? Please! Please!"

"The squirts on?" Raph said. "Let me talk to her!"

"Hey Leo, let me talk to her too!" Donnie piped up.

"Ah, guys stop!"

Then Sango heard her father and uncles' voices overlap each other as they fought over the phone. She heard something being knocked over. There were a couple of screams and stomping. From what Sango was hearing, it looked like they were chasing each other.

"Hey little dudette," Uncle Mikey spoke. "got us some souvenirs?"

"MIKEY!" her father and uncles shouted.

Mikey scream and grunted. It sounded like he was being tackled. As much as Sango was used to her family's usual daily antics, she wondered if she should be a bit concern this time.

"Don't listen to that idiot!" Raph said. "Bring us whatever you want!"

"Hey, I'm supposed to say that!" Leo shouted.

"Shut up! It's our turn to baby her! HEY!"

"Sango, this is Uncle Donnie! Everything's fine! We're excited to have you home soon! Don't worry the lair is still in one piece! AAAHHHHH!"

"Uh...are you guys okay?" Sango finally asked.

For once, Sango was concern. She didn't put any thought what happened when she wasn't around for the past three days. Hopefully, the lair was in one piece when she got home.

"We're fine! We're fine!" Leo finally answered. "Your uncles just tackled each other. Anyway, Sango do you want anything to eat when you get home? Seafood pizza or veggie?"

Seafood pizza and veggie had always been Sango's favorite since she first tried pizza for the first time. At that time, her father and uncles didn't give her their favorites cause, some of them had odd combinations or what her Uncle Casey called it, dessert toppings.

"Hmm, I don't know, Chichiue," Sango said.

"How about I pick something for you?" Leo suggested.

"Okay!"

"You sure? Cause whatever I pick, you eat it."

"I will, I will! Promise!"

Okay, hime. Seafood pizza, it is! What about dessert?"

"Mochi ice-cream! If not, brownies with ice-cream!"

Leo chuckled. Even though Sango couldn't see him, she could imagine Leo was smiling, shaking his head like he always does, and patting her head. Sango put a hand on her head. She didn't realized how much she missed her family. As much as she was excited to come home, she knew her next step was to ask Leo if he could personally train her to be heir of the Hamato Clan.

"Alright, I'll try to get those," Leo said. "Be safe and listen to your aunts. Have fun at the rest of your flight. Get some sleep, okay? I don't want you to pass out because of jetlag."

Sango giggled. "I will, Chichiue, bye!"

"Bye, see you soon!"

As Sango ended the call, she put the phone back on her aunt's lap. With a sigh, she nodded to herself. As much as she was worried how things might turned out when she gets home, but a part of her knew that everything will be alright. Smiling, Sango leaned against her seat and closed her eyes as she drifted off to a dreamless sleep.
