Chapter 6-Nine Months Later

Arthur stared at the owl, who was currently sitting on the back of his armchair, waiting for something, "Babe, why is he just sitting there?"

Hermione smiled as she stroked the bird's chest, and looked at him, "He wants a treat, give him one of the shrimps by the sink, and he'll leave." The witch finally looked down at the parchment, which the owner had delivered, and smiled.

Otter,

First of all, my jaw still hurts whenever it rains, but that's not why I sent your Helda. We caught Greyback, and the rest of the Death-Eaters, so now you are free to return back home if you want. Neville, and I, would like you to come for at least a week, that way you could stand as my best-matron for our wedding. Sorry, we couldn't tell you about our being engaged sooner, but as you are aware we had to cut all ties with you, to keep you safe.

Please tell me that you are hooking up with that massive man, who we met that time. We asked him to keep an eye on you since we couldn't ourselves, but I think he liked you from what I could tell. Well, we're going to the Weasley's, my mom, and Molly, want us to try some cake samples. Who would had thought Molly, and my mom would be friends. I guess when you both lose your husband then you become close to those in similar situations. We have to go now before Ginny throws a fit about us being late since we gave her the honor to plan our big day (That was a mistake). Talk to you later.

Love, Ferret

"It's still not leaving, babe," The large man informed, as he reached his arm out, to allow the bird to sit on his arm. He noticed the tears sliding down his girlfriend's cheeks, and set the owl on his shoulder, as he approached, "What's wrong?"

"I am no longer in hiding, they caught the last of the threat," She looked up and smiled before realization dawned on her, "I don't want to leave you."

"Than you don't have," Arthur set the owl on the counter, before approaching the woman he was finding himself in love with, he looked down into her eyes, "I love you, Hermione."

She wrapped her arms around the large man's waist, as she buried her face against his chest, "This is my home now, you're my home." She placed a kiss on his chest, "I will go to my friend's wedding, but this is where my home is now. I love you too, Arthur, and it feels good knowing I could use my real name again."

"Hermione Jane Curry?" The large man asked, trying to see her reaction.

"Hermione Jane-" She paused when realizing what he had called her, "Curry?"

"I'm already a Curry, but I would like you to be one as well," He released her arms from around his waist, and lowered to a kneeling position, pulling a ring from his pocket, "This is a ring my father made for my mother, I could get you something-"

"I love it," Cried the witch, as she wrapped her arms around the larger man's neck, and leaned down to kiss him since she was still knelt in front of her, "I would love to take your name." She pulled away from a little, and looked towards the owl, "I need to respond to Draco, and let him no that I'll be honored, to be his Best-Matron."

"You do realize we're engaged now right?" The Atlantian tightened his grip around her waist and pulled her down onto his lap, "Can we celebrate getting engaged, before telling your friends you'll be in theirs?"

"I suppose Helda could use a rest, before flying across the sea," She leaned in and kissed him, turning so her legs were wrapped around his waist.

Two Day's Later

Neville walked into the parlor, and smiled, and wrapped his arm around his fiance, "What have you got there?"

Draco smiled as he read the letter, which he received from his friend that morning, out loud:

"Ferret,

I am so glad to hear about your engagement, you two have been through so much, and deserve to be happy. I am looking forward to standing with you at your wedding, and I will be bringing the large massive man with me, as you described in the last letter. There is one thing though, I will not be staying in England, and have already changed my place of housing, from Europe to America.

I was so mad when Kingsley first ordered me to go into hiding, but now I am so thankful. I have met some wonderful people here, added to my little family, and fallen in love. I was meaning Fang when I said added to my family. I can't wait to see you guys and catch up on all your lives. You, and Neville, have been together since before the war and managed to make your relationship work. I am so happy for you.

Love, Otter."

"Can't wait to see her, but we have cake to eat," Neville reminded, taking the man by the hand, and pulling him to his feet.

"We wouldn't want to keep the woman waiting," Draco sighed

as he allowed himself to be dragged towards the fireplace.

Three Months Later

Arthur smiled as he watched his new bride standing in front of the sink, washing their dinner dishes. He came up behind her, and set his hands on her waist, "I moved the last of the furniture from the cliff house, to here," he kissed the top of her head. "So we're not telling your friends we're married?"

"We will at a later time, I don't want to take the attention from the grooms," She finished putting the last dish away, befor turning to face her husband, "We will tell them, after they return from them honeymoon."

He placed his hand over her stomach, where he could feel the slightest bulge, and grinned, "How are you going to hide yourself being pregnant."

She rolled her eyes, as she shoved her husband, and walked over to the sofa, "Honestly Arthur, I am not even showing."

"Joyce, she was able to tell, just by looking at your hips," Reminded the Atlantian King, he grinned as his wife let out a yawn, and Fang climbed up beside her. He ruffled the dog's thick fur, and smiled at the now even more protective as his wife referred to her companion, "I hope that Fang does alright with Joe and Milli."

"She loved Joe, and Milli," Assured the witch, as she rested her head over her dogs, "I might have to avoid Molly, as much as possible, she did have seven children so might suspect." She sighed, closing her eyes, "I never should have allowed Susan, Milli, Jolene, and Joyce to allow me so much wine, at my hen party. Then maybe we wouldn't be in this situation so soon into our marriage."

He laughed, as he thought of that night.

Flashback

He was just barely sitting back on the soda, after celebrating his last night of being single with Henry, and Joe, when he hears his soon-to-be wife's accent at his door.

"Do you know how great you are, Susy?"

"You're great too, sweety," Susan giggled, obviously a little tipsy, but not enough to be drunk. She looked into the house, keeping her arm around the witch's waist, "Arthur, are you there?"

He smiled as he opened the screen for the two women, taking in the sight of his witch, who could barely stand on her own, "Hey Babe, did you have fun?"

"We drank four bottles of wine," The witch announced, holding up five fingers, "It was good."

Susan giggled, as she looked at her friend, trying to fix her five to a four, "She had a bottle, and a half, saying she deserved it." She helped move the other woman, into the open arms of her friend, "I am really happy for you, Arthur. She is a sweet girl."

"Let's make a baby," The young woman looked over at the other woman, "Thank you for bringing him home, Susy."

Susan laughed as she shut the door behind her, shouting as she went to her car, "Have fun!"

"I want you to put a baby in me, Arthur," His witch had already removed her dress, which she had been wearing, revealing a green laced bra, with gold trimming, "I want you to know."

He quickly relieved himself of his clothes, and took the woman he loved, right there on there on the floor, "I'm not going to refuse my beautiful naked fiancee."

End of Flashback

"I was drunk Arthur," Exclaimed the woman, knowing that he was thinking of that night.

"I will never deny my gorgeous woman sex, drunk, or not," He laid moved his hand to her stomach, and smiled, "I didn't expect you to become pregnant that night." He remembered her doing a spell, to determine the exact day they had conceived. If he was going, to be honest, he had been excited at the thought of having a child, and the night she said those words, he was glad that he was able to wait until Susan was out of sight before taking his bride.

She smiled as she ran her fingers through his hair, as a tear slid down her cheek, "To be honest, I never thought I would be able to conceive, after all, I have been through."

He smiled as he sat on the other side of her, and wrapped his arms around her, kissing the top of her head, "We're going to be great parents, this kid is so lucky." He smiled when he heard her light snoring, alerting him that she was asleep. He easily lifted her in his arms and carried her to their room.

Tomorrow they would be on a plane, bound for England for a wedding.
