Aizawa's POV

We've all sat down on the picnic bench cause apparently there is something Midoriya needs to tell me about his quirk. I'm assuming this is something he wants the whole faculty to know if it's as serious as he's letting on. He looks nervous and unsure before he finally say quickly, "My quirk is from All Might." I'm confused for a moment and wondering for a moment if he's trying to pull some sort of joke. I realize he isn't one to joke around when it comes to anything to do with quirks so I simply tell him to elaborate. He clears his throat a bit more confident now that I hadn't completely shut down the whole idea of what this entails.

He tells the whole story of the quirk known as 'One for All' and ends with how he received it from All Might the day of the entrance exam. Well that explains why he broke both his legs and arm during the entrance exam. And why he can barely control this quirk. He eyes move between me and Hizashi waiting for some sort of response. Eventually Hizashi breaks and starts talking about how awesome and cool this was and how it was unheard of. I simply try to think over the reason why All Might would fail his prodigy by sending him into a hardcore hero course expecting him to be fine just because he has his quirk.

"Midoriya." He looks at me as I speak. "If what your saying is true, and I have no reason to believe otherwise, then I will have to have a talk with All Might as well as the rest of the faculty to see if extra lessons might be needed to get you up to speed with the rest of the class in terms of quirk usage." Midoriya smiles and nods. He seemed completely ready for that answer and I feel a little proud that he puts his trust in me enough to let me know about his quirk. "I believe I have some old lesson plans from when Y/n first starting training his quirk so I'd just have to revise it a little to make sense for your quirk. That being said, are you entirely sure that One for All is just one power. By the description you gave, the quirks of those who passed it on should pass with it right? I mean All Might might've only used the incredible strength but I guess it's just food for thought. I'm sure working with just the strength part is more than enough of a challenge." Midoriya looks like he's had an epiphany. But he still nods at my last statement. Considering he destroyed his body with his one power, another one would be too much to handle.

I glance over at Y/n who looks a little bored of this conversation. I smile a little before getting up from the bench. "Since you're here, Midoriya, we have an even number. Who's up for some sparring?" I'd figure it'd be more fair to just let Y/n and Midoriya spar first and both Hizashi and I could critique their performance. It wasn't surprising that Midoriya was slow and left many openings. He might have muscle and brains but when fighting, instincts and training are superior. Y/n won after two minutes, it was blatantly clear that he was holding back on his brother and I'm sure Midoriya could tell as well which made him even more frustrated with himself.

"Alright let's switch things up. Y/n you're with him." I say as I gesture at Hizashi. "Midoriya you're with me." I could see the anticipation for a fight against a teacher written all over his face. "Just to be clear I'm not going to hold back. And neither should you. I'll critique you as we go." This of course means striking at an opening and then saying he has an opening because of his stance. I back off and get into a stance with few openings and I watch as he analyzes everything before shifting into a similar position. I make a feint left which he doesn't fall for so I change it into a small hit which causes a reaction leaving his right open.

"Always have a counter strike or parry for any move and opponent makes. Always try to be on the offensive rather than defensive with your moves or you'll never win. Don't let them have any openings and if you leave an opening use it as bait. If an opponent thinks you're weak on one side they'll aim for it and if you're ready then you can effectively counter and strike back. Most of time openings are most commonly found when one is making an attack." I spout off information for basic hand-to-hand as we continue to fight. Very quickly Midoriya is on the ground unable to get up. I guess hitting pressure points usually does leave a person unable to do much. He'll learn eventually what those are too, especially if I hit them enough.

Y/n's POV

I couldn't help but grimace every time Izuku went down before slowly getting back up. I was barely paying attention to my own sparring session but I still have barely been hit. Papa is just too loud that it makes it way to easy to dodge, in fact I could probably do it with my eyes closed. It's kind of neat seeing Dad train Izuku. They kind of act like father and son and it made me a little happy in that moment. When I do turn back to my own match, Yamada is panting hard whereas I'm completely normal, having dodged with the smallest amount of energy possible. "You aren't very good at this Papa." I say before closing the distance and jabbing at all his exposed pressure points. He collapses quite quickly and I lean over him and offer him a hand. "Can we stop now? I kind of just want to watch Izuku spar and you're looking exhausted anyways." He simply nods and I help him get over and sit down on the picnic bench.

"Man. What is your father teaching you?! I swear you weren't that good just a few months ago." I laugh a little before responding, "Guess I'm just a quick learner. Plus you suck, you should seriously work out more." Yamada nods a bit before saying, "I would but then I wouldn't have any free time, since I've got heroing, teaching, and a radio show to host. I also try and make time for you and your dad when I can." I smile and give him a side hug. "Don't worry about it. I was just joking. At least you aren't as bad as Izuku." He laughs bit as he watches Izuku get back up for the thirtieth time.

Monday mornings aren't all that bad...if you're Lev since he's a cat and can sleep all day. Unfortunately for me I'm not Lev and therefore I am woken up just as the sun is crossing the horizon cause I can't miss daily morning stretches and exercises, at least not when my dad arrives on time. After eating a quick breakfast and changing into my UA uniform we both head to school. He reminds me to be on my best behaviour since we have a class outing today. I'd almost forgotten about it with all that happened over the weekend.

"So where are we going?" I ask, curious.

"The USJ..." My eyes widen in shock and surprise before coming to a realization that there would be no reason for the hero course to go to Universal Studios Japan. I sigh before saying, "What does that stand for?"

"Unforeseen Simulation Joint" he responds, clearly done with this conversation. I simply nod. It makes sense since he said we'd be doing rescue training. Soon enough we made it to the school, heading in different directions. I go to class whereas he is probably going to the teacher's lounge.

I'm the first one there, which isn't surprising, so I decide to just take a quick power nap since there's literally nothing else to do in this room. My slumber was disturbed when Iida came rushing in like he was late. I glance up at the clock and there is still 14 minutes before class even starts. I watch Iida, casually, as he straightens out and walks calmly to his desk before sitting down. Does he even notice I'm here? I mean I am sat at the very back of the room but...oh whatever as long as he lets me nap in peace.

I doze off again until someone nudges me awake. I peek my eyes open to look at the person's shoes through my arms on my desk. Hitoshi. I guess class is starting then since he's always the last one here. I don't know what makes him late every day since he doesn't sleep half the time but I'd rather not ask because he most likely won't give an answer.

"As you all know we are doing rescue training at another UA facility and will be leaving now. If you would like you can wear your hero costumes, however, since you haven't really worked with them much they could hinder you in your training. Gym attire is required if you decide not to wear your costume. And some of your costumes are still being repaired and improved so therefore you'll have to forgo them." Almost everyone glanced at Midoriya as he said that last line. It's true that Izuku's costume was completely wrecked from the heroes vs villains exercise last week but my costume wasn't complete either since the chain I used was taken away with Blaze.

Everyone was quick to grab their costumes and go and change. I grabbed mine and waited until it was just me and Aizawa left in the room. He looked up from his desk at me with a 'what do you want' kind of look on his face. "Uhh...you know the um...gadget things that you take home sometimes to try." He nods and gestures to go on. "Could I maybe like use one of them with my costume since I don't have the chains that came with it."

He holds out his hand for the gadget and I quickly detach them from my wrists. He gives a quick glare since I shouldn't be wearing anything while in class but quickly picks up on what these were. Just simple attachments, that would fit with my gauntlet like gloves, that so happen to be able to shoot chains out of them. Sure, these chains weren't made of tungsten but they would still work well when dealing with villains and would require less focus to use since I didn't need my quirk for them to work.

He hands them back and watches as I put them back on. "How often do you wear those?" He asks, looking me in the eye. I look away and rub the back of my neck. "Well...almost all-all the time, when we aren't training..." He sighs before getting up and reminding me to get ready since we had a couple minutes before the bus would leave.

I change quickly into my costume which is quite a lot lighter without tungsten chains secured around my waist. Not surprisingly I'm still one of the first people to get to the bus. I get on the bus, ignoring Iida and his plans since I knew the bus would be open concept. The look on his face when he realizes his plans are foiled is great. The bus ride was loud but that's to be expected, luckily it was short.

I adjust my gauntlet add-ons testing to make sure they fire out of the right spot since I didn't want to accidentally trap myself. When they seemed perfect I quickly followed the others inside the USJ. The hero 13 is here but All Might isn't and I learn that he must've used up all his time this morning which is just great. You really need to get your act together All Might. Your teaching should be a top priority since your successor happens to be in this class. Plus it looks really bad if you miss class all the time. While stuck in my own head I feel a shift in the atmosphere. Regardless of whatever 13 was talking about, nothing could cause confusion and worry to fill the air like this. "...real villains." I hear Aizawa say before yelling at 13 to protect us and running down to face the massive horde that appeared out of the black mist.
