Chapter 9
Day Before The Wedding
Hermione stared at herself in the pink dress and frowned. The sleeves looked like they could keep you floating in a pool, and the dress looked like a mermaid tail. "Uhm."
"I saw this dress, and thought 'Hermione will look good in this' when I saw it," Explained Ginny, not paying attention to the witch, "What do you think?"
"She doesn't like it, Ginny, she's only too nice to say so," Luna explained, as she entered the room, where they were fitting for their dresses. She waved her hand and smiled as the dress turned into a silver gown, that tied around the kneck, and just flowed down to the witch's toes. She then added some patterns, with blue, burgundy, and green threading, smiling as she stepped back, "Ginny, she was only kidding, she wanted to play a trick on you."
Ginny rolled her eyes, as she laughed, "You're not supposed to give the prank away," informed the younger redhead witch, "Luna added the peacock stitching, with the colors of their three separate houses."
"Luna this looks so pretty, and it feels light as air," The brunette explained as she twirled around in the dress, "What shoes will I be wearing?"
"I got you some silver converse, with the same pattern as the dress, and gold laces," Answered the bride to be, "They're quite comfortable you know."
"I recall you wearing them in Hogwarts," Answered the older witch.
The blonde nodded, as she smiled at her own reflection, "I m going to be wearing my mother's dress," she currently was wearing jeans, with Slytherin Jersey, with a pair of burgundy converse with gold laces." She really did love her wizards.
"Your mother was a muggle, wasn't she?" Asked Ginny, as she sat in one of the chairs, and started writing in her book, "So where is Arthur?"
"He's at the Leaky Cauldron, celebrating with the men, since Harry, and Blaise already got fit for their witness robes." Answered the blonde witch, she looked up at the clock, and then at Ginny, "Lunch is in your schedule right?"
"Followed by a long nap, and hen party," Ginny stretched her arms, as a year escaped her, "Mom, and Narcissa, they have beds prepared for us, for after lunch, then Astoria, Hannah, Cho, Pansy, and Daphne will meet us for our game night."
"Luna promised no drinking, since Pansy, and Daphne, are pregnant," Explained Ginny with a slight pout.
"I like playing muggle games," Luna replied with a shrug, "So does Hermione."
Hermione wrapped her arms around the younger witch's shoulders, and smiled, "Let's go eat then."

Narcissa smiled, as she found the witch reading in her library, and sat beside her, "Other ladies still napping, I presume?"
"Yes, Ginny, and Luna, are resting peacefully, before the hen party," Answered the witch, without looking up from the book in hand, "Did you read this when you were pregnant with Draco? This book has spells to help in raising your baby."
"Goodness, I should have thrown that book away a long time ago, it's filled with pureblood nonsense. Those spells to raise the perfect pureblood child is a thin line of being unforgivable. There is one spell that a parent would use, that is close to the Imperius. It only works on children from birth to up until ten, years old, but parents used to use it to link their minds to their children, so they could know when their child lies or does something wrong. Kind of like Crabbe, and Goyle, their parents did that to them, and they're now the bigguse pushovers I ever." Narcissa removed the book from the witch's hands, and tossed it in the fireplace. She then stood to her feet, and walked to where desk was using some wand work, to unlock a special compartment, "When I was first pregnant with Draco, I took a walk through a small muggle town, and found this book. It really did help, even thought I never told Lucius, even charmed it to look like the book I tossed when reading it in the open."
Hermione's eyes widened when the older witch handed her a familiar titled book, 'What to expect, when expecting' she look at the other witch, "I have this book already, and my mom read this when she was pregnant with me, can't believe you bought a muggle book."
"I am actually a big fan of muggle writings, and use to have my own library which no one could enter, in my own wing of the manor. After the war, I added them to this library, and turned that one into a tutoring room, for when I have grandchildren." The older witch smiled, as the young witch handed her back the book, "I never told Lucious, not that he showed much interest, in what I read."
"He saved my life at the department of ministry, when we were looking for the prophexy, hw ahot a curse at Donovan. He communicated through my mind, told me to deck," The younger witch informed, smiling as she took the older witch's hand.
"So we decided to make this hen party, a coed thing," Explained the blonde wizard, as he leaned in the doorway, smiling at the two witch's, "You know the other's are already in the game room, and already half way done with life." He glanced behind himself, where Arthur, was standing smiling at his wife. "Your husband wanted to come here, when he found out where the hen party was, and instead of trying to talk him into it we thought it would be more fun."
Narcissa watched as the large man, can and stood behind the younger witch, and smiled, "You certainly know how to pick them, don't you Hermione?" She gave a slight smile, as she squeezed the young womans hand.
"I did get lucky meeting him, even if he was an ass when I first met him," Teased the witch, as her husband came to kneel down beside her, "He's a good man."
"I would hope so, he's Aquaman, I remember the boys told us about him, the last time they checked on you before having to cut off ties," Explained the older witch.
"I am actually lucky, she gave me a chance," The large man replied, kissing the top of his wife's head. He then stood up, and helped the witch to her feet, "Luna, asked that we bring you ladies to the ballroom, for some much needed fun. Her words not mine."
"Sounds like something Luna would say," Hermione laughed, as she allowed her husband, to lead her out of the room.
Draco wrapped his arm around his mother, as they walked out of the library, following the couple in front of them, "You know she's pregnant right, not that she said anything yet."
"Yes, Molly, she flooed and told me," Answered Narcissa, smiling at her son, "You make me very proud, Son."
Draco smiled, as he listened to his mother's words.
