Chapter 10

He couldn't keep his eyes off his wife, as she stood with the triad and their chosen witnesses. The ceremony was something else, and fit the three who were exchanging vows. He was sitting beside Narcissa, who had insisted he does so, and rolled his eyes when his wife winked in his direction.

The group had started off with the witnesses standing beside the respective bride or groom, then as the minister started the vows, the wedded couple took a step closer to one another until their hands was linked together like they were now. The witnesses had to acknowledge, that they had witnessed the bonding before they each lit a candle, and then brought it to a parchment, where the wax dripped, magically forming a triangle with the married couple's signature. He had never seen anything like this before, and couldn't believe that his witch, had actually enjoyed their small ceremony.

"It's now over," Whispered the blonde, as she stood to her feet, and clapped.

The wedding was beautiful, and he had even made a toast to the couple because his wife had been to busy crying to get the words out. He did get some snickers, but he expected that since the words were from her perspective, from her memories with the three. The guest especially laughed, when he read how good his wife felt when she punched the blonde during their adolescence. Or when she knocked Neville out with a spell, so she could sneak out of the common rooms past curfew. Then how Luna always had an optimistic word, whenever she was feeling upset.

He had shared his wife at the after-party, as she danced with her friends, before finally getting him onto the dance floor. She stayed in his arms for the remainder of the night. He looked down at his witch, and studied her, as she looked around the dance floor, "Do you ever wish you could have had a wedding with your friends?"

She smiled up at her husband, "I really loved my wedding, it was perfect." She lowered her husband's head, so she could press her lips to his, "You're perfect."

"No, you are perfect," He disagreed as he leaned back in, and kissed her back, "I love you so much." He ran a hand through his wife's hair, "So who is Frank, and Alice?"

"How do you know those names?" Asked his witch, as she looked over towards Neville, who was dancing with Narcissa.

"He kept talking about how he wished they could be there for the wedding, while we were drinking at the Leaky Cauldron, before joining you ladies for game night," Arthur answered easily.

"They are his parents, who are currently spending their life at St, Mungo's in the psych ward," Hermione explained, allowing her husband to escort her to their seats, "They were tortured too long after the crucio course. Neville was just a baby when all that happened."

"Not for lack of trying, Augusta put in a lot of money to ensure they were getting the best care ?" Hermione smiled as Narcissa approached their table, and sat beside the witch, "Wasn't it a beautiful wedding."

"Absolutely," The witch agreed.

"I just wanted to talk to you a little, before I return home, to thank you, Hermione, for being there for Draco," The older witch wrapped her arms around the younger witch, "I hope you two have a safe trip home." She looked around before placing a hand on the witch's stomach, "Please floo me, if you need anything at all dear, and I will try and visit."

"We have a guest house, which any of our friends are more than welcomed to stay in," The witch answered then frowned, "Though we still need to put furniture in it."

"I will be there on the first of next month, and we could furnish your guesthouse together, the Manor is so lonely it'll be nice to take a vacation," The older witch smiled, before standing up and walking away.

Hermione looked at her husband, who was staring at her in confusion, "Do we have any plans for the next month?"

"Merlins sake Hermione, it's not like I need to be entertained twenty-four-seven, I'll bring Molly along with me." Narcissa saw the worry in the other woman's eyes, and take a hold of her hands, "Darling, I know how to act around muggles, and I'll even take Molly to a muggled store so she's well dressed. We won't even use our wand while there, you have my word."

"You're more than welcome to visit, Mrs. Malfoy, though we were invited to a ball in Gotham next month for a fundraiser for the orphanage there," Arthur explained, as he kissed the top of his wife's head, who was smiling.

"That will be exciting, I will make sure I bring an appropriate gown, do you know the theme?" Asked blonde, always loving a fundraiser function.

"Actually, I think it would be nice having people I know there, Arthur," Hermione smiled as she stood to her feet, and reached her hand to her husband, "We need to get to the airport actually, where Mr. Wayne''s plane is scheduled to take us home."

Narcissa smiled, as she wrapped her arms around the younger witch, kissing her cheek, "The newlyweds already left for their honeymoon, but I go and let Molly know the plan."

After the three exchanged goodbyes, the young couple left through the floo.

Two Weeks Later

Hermione smiled as she looked around the new extra room, which was once her own personal library, "Oh Joe, this is wonderful."

Joe smiled as he looked around at his work, "It's nice to actually have steady work, and Milli, she can't wait until I start working for your friends at the Manor, she always loved seeing that house as a child. It will be nice knowing someone is going to be living in it, even if only for holidays."

"You did wonderful work with the new library for me, it turned out amazingly, and Milli is looking forward to helping me along with Tera," The younger woman explained, as she recalled donating all her muggle books to the library, and even having some delivered by Narcissa, who had duplicated all her muggle books. "I love that the children here would have a place to go, and read books and to study."

"Did you find a home for the new puppies?" The witch asked, remembering about Fang's mom having a new litter, and smiling, "Thank you for selling me a couple, my friend gets lonely in her Manor, ever since her wife, and children, living elsewhere."

"So she's the one, whose children will be taking over the mansion here, right?" Joe smiled at the public young woman, watching as she rubbed her stomach, "So feeling any morning sickness?"

"No, my friend gave me some home remedy, which really helped a lot," Explained the witch, no giving anything away with magic.

"Where is Arthur?" Milli asked as she entered the finished added room, with a basket full of food, "I made some fried fish and potato salad. Even have some of my famous apple-cider-lemonade." She was already spreading the food over the wooden floors, and plating the said food, "Joyce even gave me one of her blueberry pies, she mentioned it was one of the foods you were craving."

Hermione wrapped her arms around her friend, as she went for a slice of pie first, "She makes the best blueberry pie. Arthur is picking up Narcissa, and Molly, they decided to come sooner."

Arthur was driving Joe's jeep when he went to the area, where the magical world was located. He was only able to see the hotel, but apparently, it linked to the magical world, and that was where the two women would be exiting. His wife had wanted to come with him, but he was able to see how tired she was from working on the library and making sure the room was finished. The two women would be staying at the inn in town, until after the two rooms were ready.

He almost didn't recognize the two older witches, without their robes on. The taller of the two waved him over, as the shorter woman was checking their bags, "Mrs. Malfoy, Mrs. Weasley, glad you to were able to come."

Narcissa stopped the man, before he was able to get out of the car, as she put her bag in the back seat, as Molly did the same, "We have no time to waste, the skies are starting to darken."

"It is almost six in the evening," Arthur informed, as he wanted the two women to take their seat, the taller in the front, and the other in the back.

"So Hermione is already being fed, so why don't I stop somewhere, and pick up some food for us," Suggested the Atlantian, as he pulled into the nearby drive-thru.

"I am famished," Agreed the blonde, "I am curious to try some muggle cuisine."

"What do you have in mind?" Asked Molly, as she looked around her surroundings, "My Arthur, would have loved staying a couple of weeks alongside the muggles."

"I thought you were staying a month?" Arthur asked, looking towards the blonde.

"I still am dear, but Molly, she needs to return to her children. She will miss her grandchildren too much," Explained Narcissa, with a gentle smile. She reached for the young man's arm, "How is Hermione doing?"

"She is doing well, just was exhausted with finishing up the library, and adding a room to the guest house," Arthur smiled as they pulled back onto the road, after getting a couple of buckets of chicken.
