Author's Note

As I expected, I manager to finish another chapter. Not sure how long I can keep this up, but I do want to keep writing. Given nothing unexpected stuff comes up. Also, please check out my Aikatsu Galaxy if haven't. I have decided to slot that into my release schedule. I will still prioritize Suite Dream and this one though. Anyways, enjoy!

Chapter 8: Heart Catchers, Heart Seed!

Cure Marine "Hey, are we there yet?"

Cure sunshine "We are almost there."

Cure Blossom turns her face around and looks at Marine "Jee, Marine, it hasn't been that long yet."

Cure Moonlight looks at them while Marine says "I know, but it is so boring. On top of that, we can't even fly there. It would've been so much easier."

Sunshine "Just hang on, we are almost there."

Blossom nods "Yep, let's just hurry, okay?"

Moonlight then shouts "Blossom!"

Blossom looks to the front and sees a giant ball flying at her. She tries to avoid it, but the wind force from it pushes Blossom away.

Blossom "Ahh!"

Marine "Blossom!"

Marine jumps to the side and grabs Blossom by the arm and helps her recover. The two land on the ground normally and immediately jump into the alleyway. Sunshine and Moonlight follow them.

Moonlight takes a look at what attacked them "I can't see anything. A cannonball of that size shouldn't be that hard to find. Just how?"

Sunshine "Could it be from inside a building?"

Moonlight stops looking and faces them "Possibly, let's go around. It's too much taking that head-on.

All three of them nods and begin using the alleyway to stealthily close in on the tower. After a moment later, they reach an opening to a road that would lead them directly to the tower. Sunshine then sees something that seems to reflect light for a moment. Before anyone notices, a cannonball is in front of them.

All four "Eh?"

Sunshine steps forward "Sunflower Aegis!"

The cannonball hits Sunshine's shield and is slowly pushing her back. Sunshine then pushes her shield upward and pushes the cannonball upward.

Blossom "What happened? That attack came out of nowhere."

Sunshine "Actually, I saw something shined for a moment."

Sunshine looks at the road and all of them look at the road carefully. A moment after, it shines again and they see a quick reflection of a mirror-like object. Immediately after, another cannonball shows up from the mirror and flies at them. All four of them jump up and avoids it.

Blossom "That's…"

Marine "But there was nothing from that mirror!"

Moonlight "Maybe…"

Moonlight rushes in and another flicker of light shines. Another cannonball comes out, but Moonlight hops up and jumps off from it. She kicks at the mirror-like object. However, she went right through it and disappears.

All three of them shout "Moonlight!"

All three follow through and when they enter, they are in a space-like room. Within the room, there are several other mirror-like objects. They see Moonlight dodging cannonballs left and right.

Blossom "Moonlight!"

Moonlight notices them, however, she is too busy avoiding the attack. A woman then walks closer to Blossom, Marine, and Sunshine. It then slowly reveals that she is Ginka.

Ginka "Hello Precure. I am…"

Marine interrupt "Ginka! I don't know what your number is though."

Blossom tries to stop Marine "Marine, let's just let her introduce herself. You shouldn't interrupt her like this."

Marine "Ehh? But is it that important?"

Blossom "Even if it is not, we should still let her introduce herself."

Ginka then slowly getting angry and Sunshine puts a stop "Marine, Blossom…"

The two of them see Sunshine looking carefully at Ginka.

Blossom immediately apologize with a bow "I'm sorry!"

Marine doesn't care much and Blossom pushes her head down.

Ginka sighs "Whatever, I'm Ginka 12."

Sunshine finally finished dealing with the cannonballs and regroup with the three of them.

Ginka smiles "Not bad, however…"

As ginka raises her arms, several cannons show up from within the mirrors.

Ginka "Mirror Cannon, fire!"

All the cannon fires and the four of them scatters around. However, even though they missed and hits the ground, all of them bounced.

One of the bounced cannonballs flies towards Marine "Ahh! What is this?"

While she barely avoids it, Blossom avoids one as well while saying "They bounce?"

Moonlight "That's not all!"

As Moonlight shouts, a few cannonballs touch a mirror and reappear from another mirror. One of the cannonballs that reappeared is about to hit Sunshine, but she turns around and parries it with her hand.

Sunshine "Hard! I thought they would be more rubbery!"

As they are avoiding, Ginka jumps in and attacks. Her first target is Moonlight and goes in with a kick. Moonlight blocks it with her arm but had to turn around and parry one of the cannonballs. This results in Ginka getting a chance to punch Moonlight.

Moonlight "Ahh!"

Blossom hears Moonlight's cry "Moonlight!"

She leaps at Ginka, however, Marine shouts "Blossom! Be careful!"

Blossom didn't notice a cannonball is flying at her from her left side. With Marine's warning, however, she manages to cross her arms and blocks it right before it hits.

Sunshine "Blossom!"

Blossom gets knocked back but says "Oww, that hurts… But I'm okay. However, Moonlight is..."

Marine and Sunshine look at Moonlight having great trouble dealing with Ginka and the cannonballs. However, they could not stay still for long. They quickly jump away to avoid more cannonballs.

Moonlight soon manages to push Ginka away and looks at the girls "Leave this side to me, take care of the cannons!"

Ginka "You think it'll be that easy?"

Then the next set of cannon fires out the cannonballs with a Negaminion riding on top of it. As the three of them avoid, the Negaminions jump-off in an attempt to attack them. One of them manages to grab Sunshine's leg.

Sunshine "What?"

The Negadol tries to throw. Sunshine lands on her hands and then kicks the Negadol away. She then quickly jumps up to avoid an incoming cannonball.

Marine complains "Hey! Isn't this a little bit too unfair?"

Blossom "But even so, we have to do it! Pink Forte Wave!"

Blossom attacks the cannonballs and destroys all that in its path.

Marine "Ohh! We can do that! Then me too, Blue Forte Wave!"

Same as Blossom, Marine destroys similar amounts of cannonballs.

Ginka "They can destroy the cannonball so easily. In that case, how about this!"

A few more cannon comes out of the mirrors and they all fire at Blossom, Marine, and Sunshine.

Moonlight kicks Ginka away and shouts out "Everyone!"

Sunshine smiles "No problem! Gold Forte Burst!"

Sunshine's attack did not destroy them completely. However, it did the damage and knocks them off course. Blossom and Marine groups up and ready for their next attack.

Blossom and Marine "Floral Power Fortissimo!"

The two of them cover themselves in a strong aura and begin flying towards the cannons. As they fly by, each cannon are getting destroyed.

Ginka looks at the cannons getting destroyed and is trying to stop them.

Moonlight keeps close at Ginka "Your opponent is me!"

Ginka "How persistent!"

As the two exchange blows, Moonlight replies "It is because we are persistent, we are here today."

Ginka "To struggle so much just to achieve something not even for yourself, that's just stu…"

Before Ginka finish saying, Blossom retorts "It is not stupid! It is because we are doing our best, we get to learn so much more and get all the great experience!"

Ginka looks at Blossom for a second and Moonlight takes the chance. She points her Moon Tact directly at Ginka's chest.

Moonlight "Precure, Silver Forte Wave!"

Not able to block, Ginka uses her hands to reduce the power of the attack. However, she is still pushed back and explodes right onto her.

Moonlight regroups with the other three. As Ginka slowly stands up, her chest is revealing her mechanical parts.

Marine "Wait, what is that?"

Sunshine "She is a… machine?"

Blossom "But she is so much like a human. Can a machine really…"

While Moonlight didn't say anything, Ginka looks at them and says "I guess our kind is surprising to you. Well, it can't be helped. After all, my sisters and I are the last of our kind."

Blossom "Eh?"

Sunshine "To be the last of their kind, that is…"

Marine "No way, then why are you guys fighting us?"

Ginka "Cause that is what we have to do. No other choice!"

Ginka then slowly steps forward and ready to attack again.

Moonlight looks at Blossom, Marine, and Sunshine "You three do it. If I do it, I'll have to go all out."

The three of them nods and start getting ready for Shining Fortissimo.

When all preparation is complete, they shout out "Precure, Shining Fortissimo!"

Ginka tries to jumps away but Moonlight gets in her way. With the strike of Moonlight's palm, Ginka falls right into Shining Fortissimo. As the attack is in the process of purifying, a crack from within Ginka happens instead. Then the space they are in slowly dissolves and they return to the road they were on before.

Afterward, Blossom asks "Did something break just now?"

Marine "I heard it too, but… what was that?"

Sunshine looks at Ginka "Did we break her?"

Moonlight is already checking on Ginka "Don't worry, she seems to be fine. However…"

Sunshine "We can't just leave her there."

As they ponder on what to do, another Ginka shows up "I'll take care of her. You four should hurry up and get to the tower."

They look at each other and Blossom says "Then please and thank you!"

As the Precure leaves, the newly showed up Ginka walks next to the other one.

New Ginka "Seriously, getting reckless like that."

Then Ginka 12 opens her eyes "Not as reckless as those two though. Besides, I already knew you are around, thirteen."

Ginka 13 "Haha, but just to make sure…"

Ginka 12 nods "Yeah, I'm good now. As this battle goes on, more of our sisters will be free. At that time…"

Ginka 13 nods "Let's make sure to pay back all our debt."

Ginka 13 then starts helping GInka 12 repair her damages.

At the tower, moonlight checks on the device and sighs.

Blossom "Is it no good?"

Moonlight turns around "Yeah, it seems like making a performance is the only way."

Sunshine "It came down to that in the end. Well, that's why we practiced."

Blossom "Ahh, I'm getting nervous."

The girls then take out the cards they received. Blossom holds a dress from Humming Leaf, Marine has Vivid Kiss, Sunshine has Royal Sword, and Moonlight has Love Moonrise.

Marine then asks Blossom "You really okay with that pink dress?"

Blossom nods "Yep, but how about you?"

Marine nods as well "Of course, but…"

They look at Sunshine and Moonlight.

Sunshine says "I'll stick with this one. It seems like my martial art can be incorporated while wearing this dress."

Moonlight pulls her cards away "I don't know, let's just get it over with."

Moonlight then walks ahead while the other three giggles at her response. They soon change into the dress and rushes to the top of the tower.

When they are on the stage, they try to look as confident as they can. As the song slowly kicks in, they all take one more deep breath.

All four sings "The heart flowers that connect us, let's join our powers one by one and become stronger. From now on, we'll always be together."

The four of them spreads out and starts dancing. Each one also starts emitting a simple aura to their cure color and style.

Blossom starts next "Good morning and thanks you for the food! Bye-bye and see you tomorrow!"

Sunshine picks up the next part immediately "I'm back and good night with every passing day."

Moonlight then follows up "I'm starting to realize the happiness from the casual times."

Marine finishes the second verse "After all, it's definitely thanks to everyone!"

Then Blossom and Marine sing together "Laughing loudly on the way home from school!"

Sunshine and Moonlight sing gently "If you have noticed, everyone here has a special place!"

Afterward, they come close and almost snuggling at first before they slowly separate and continue to dance.

They all start singing together "Thank you for the heart seeds. I will always cherish them carefully. We will always remember this feeling of gratitude. This sky and the large sea, we wish we'll forever spend time together. Everyone, let's always stay together!"

They begin their special appeal by each one of them materializes their heart seed and they shoot up into the sky. They jump up and disappear with sparkling light. With swirling lines of colors between pink, blue, yellow, and purple. They reappear in a group pose with their Heart Seed beside them.

The four of them follow up with an attempt for Swift Appeal. The Heat Seeds shine and break up into shining beams. They fly towards their owner and envelopes them while shining in their respectful color. They soon break out and are in a form similar to their super Silhouette form. Expect each one is colored in their own color. After another quick pose together, the appeal ends. They return to normal and continue their performance.

A group of four Cure looks at their performance for a moment.

Cure Notes "Ohh! They are doing quite well. Not at our level though."

Cure Thunder "But they just started. To be able to do not only Special Appeal but Swift Appeal as well is really amazing."

Cure Bohemian "Hmm, they are cute though. It's always fun watching cute new idols."

Cure Nature "I agree."

Notes turn around and say "Alright, let's not lose to them! Let's go!"

All three of them raise an arm and shouts "Ohh!"
