Gatlingburg, Tennessee
"Come now Mimi, you know I'll find you." The large man-child teased, as he searched for the person in question.
"Do you really have to call me that?" Asked the young woman, her accent thick. She was sitting against a tree with a book in her hand.
"I like having a name, that only I use for you," The young man smiled, as he sat beside her, resting his gun beside him, "How long are you planning to stay this time?"
She glanced down at the pocket watch-looking object, and then towards him, "I will be here for a while, staying in the cabin."
He had met the young woman while hunting a year ago, She suddenly was standing in front of him, in an unusual fashion. She had been wearing pants, with a sweater, nothing like the clothes he was used to seeing girls around wearing. He brought her some of his mother's clothes, and even some food so she wouldn't starve. She had been honest with him, sharing where she was from, and how the pocket watch was for time traveling. She had come explained that she had wanted someplace safe, and suddenly she was there.
He had shown her his world and taught her to hunt, and fish for the game. When she returned, she was wearing the clothes, much like his mother and sister were. She was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen or gone to school with, and he did anything to spend time with him.
He saw the sadness in her eyes, "Is everything alright?"
"My parents were killed," She looked down at her lap, not wanting him to see the tears forming, "When I was staying at my friend's family's safe house, when I received a message from my headmaster, telling me about my parents. I excused myself to my room, and then came here, I need time to grieve. I feel there is something big coming into my world, and I don't want this to set me back. I need to be on high alert for whatever is coming."
He wrapped his arms around the woman, allowing her to cry, "Well I will be here for you, and I am so sorry for your loss, Mimi."
"Thank you, Em," She smiled as she cupped his cheek, "You really are a sweetheart," she stood to her feet, and pulled him to his, "Let's go to the cabin, I want to lay down."
"Of course," He agreed.

Three Months Later
"I'll have leave soon," The young woman explained, as she rested her head, against the man's large chest.
He tightened his hold around her waist, and pulled her closer to him, "I don't want you to go."
"You knew I would have to return soon, we never should have done this, it just makes things more complicated," She kissed up his chin, reaching his mouth, "Why did you make me fall in love with you?"
"It was easy falling for you, Mimi," He deepened the kiss. "Stay here with me, we could get married and have a family."
She smiled as she pulled away, and cupped his cheek, "I am not from this world."
"You could be though," He linked her smaller hand, in his larger one, "I will never love anyone, the way that I love you."
"Please try," She stared into his blue eyes, and frowned, "I want you to live a full house, and if I can return, I will."
"Promis?" He pleaded.
"I promise I will try, and that'll have to be good enough for you," She brought their linked hand to her mouth, and kissed it gently.
"Can I come with you?"
"That might change history too much," She closed her eyes, as she snuggled against his chest. "I need to get some sleep."
"Alright, sweetheart," He held her until he fell asleep.

The Present-1998
Hermione stood between her two best friends, as they stared down from the bridge after Harry broke the Elder Wand before tossing it off the bridge. "So what are you going to do now this is all over?"
"I was thinking about being an Intern for the DADA class," Harry answered, as he wrapped an arm around his female friend's shoulder.
"I going to assist Fred, and George, with their shop," Ron answered smiling, as he ran a hand through his hair, "What about you?"
"I honestly don't know," The witch answered the witch. "I might go back to my childhood home, and live there. It will be nice being in the muggle world again." She forced a smile, and the three headed towards the Great Hall, where some of the people who fought, were now celebrating.
After she left 1923, she had finished that year in school and asked to return the time turner. She then went into planning for the coming war, so when the time came, her friends and she would be ready. It had been three months since she has last seen the man, whom she grew to love and couldn't believe she might never see him again. She cried herself to sleep many nights, wondering how his life had turned out, and rather he had gotten married or had children.
"Miss Granger, I need to do a diagnostic test dear, just to make sure you don't have any hidden injuries or curses," Minerva explained, as she lead her favorite student to a private corner, where there were some other girls getting checked over. She glanced towards her two make friends, as Snape lead the two to the other side of the Great Hall.
"Hermione, did you know you were pregnant?" Minerva asked, leaning in so the others could hear. She looked worriedly at the young witch, whose eyes widened.
"Pregnant?" The young witch asked, almost collapsing in her spot.
The older witch wrapped her arms around the young witch, and sat down with her on one of the benches, "You didn't know, did you dear?"
Hermione let out an incredulous laugh, as she stared at the woman beside her, "Do I look like I knew?" She placed her hand on her stomach, "Can't believe this is happening, what am I going to do?"
"First you should talk to the father," Minerva glanced towards the witch's two best friends, focusing more on the redhead.
"I would if I could, but I lost contact with him," The young witch answered honestly, noticing the older witch's glances, "It's not Ron's, or Harry. I think of those two as brothers."
The older witch seemed to realize the situation, and frowned, "Did you use the time turner, for means outside of education?"
"When I needed a place where I could be alone, the time turner brought me to someplace in the states, where I met the father," Answered the witch, as she stood to her feet. "I haven't seen him for three months. I honestly don't know how I ended up in another state, or time."

Minerva lead the young witch out of the hall, and to a private room that was close by, and asked her to sit. "You heard about soulmate magic, right?"
"Yes, of course, I do," Answered the young witch, as she stared at the older witch.
"Well back in the early nineteen-hundreds some people would use the time turner, to bring them to the person they were meant to be with. They called it heart magic, it happens rarely but it does happen if the person's soulmate isn't in your same time period," Explained the older witch, as she squeezed the young girls hand, "Some times the couple stays in the time they find there soulmate, while other times they do as you did, and go back and forth. Unfortunately, now that you're pregnant, you are unable to take the time turner back to your soulmate."
"I know the dangers, and I wouldn't want anything to happen to the baby, even if I just found out. They are the only thing I have, connecting me to their father." Hermione closed her eyes, as she pictured her love, from the last she saw him, "He was asleep when I left him, he must hate me."
"If he loved you, as I believe he did, he would not hate you my dear," Assured the older witch, "Until we figure out what to do, you'll continue to stay with me, much like you did during your holidays after your parent's death."
"Thank you, Minerva," The young woman whispered, as she leaned in and rested her head on the older woman's shoulder. "I don't know how I will explain being pregnant to Harry, and Ron."
"We'll figure it out my dear child," The older witch once again assured.
