Author's Note

This chapter took a little longer. Work got a little busier. Though, I should still be able to make two updates a week. Either way, here is the new chapter, enjoy!

Chapter 11: Luminate the City, Exciting Antenna

Cure Sky "Oh, I see the tower!"

Cure Pop then tackles Sky "Watch out!"

As Pop knocks Sky down, a figure flies by them and crashes into the ground.

Cure Songstress "What is this?"

When she checks, she sees a black pointy capsule. It splits into two and a Negaminion jumps out and punches Songstress. Songstress turns her body and lets the fist hit the air. At the same time, she karate chop the back of Negaminion's neck. Sky and Pop look at Songstress and claps their hand.

Songstress "That surprised me."

Sky "But you did that so smoothly."

Pop nods "Yeah, I wasn't expecting that."

Songstress "I just wanted to avoid it at first. But then I notice I have time to try and knock it out so…"

Sky looks surprised "Do you mean we are able to act and think faster?"

Pop "So like superhuman abilities? I wonder if I can sense things that are far away. Mmm… Hmmm! There!"

Pop then points into the sky as Sky and Songstress look in the same direction. However, after a second, something is flying towards them.

Pop "Wait…"

Sky "Something is…"

Songstress "Actually coming at us!"

The three of them run out of the way and avoid it. When they take a look, it is another capsule.

Sky "That would hurt if it hit us…"

Pop "Hmm, wait…"

Pop looks up into the sky again "I think there are more."

Sky and Songstress look up and sees many more capsules flying towards them.

Pop "Wait for a second…"

Sky then quickly tried to move "This way!"

The three of them move to the side, near the buildings. The capsules crash into the ground they were standing on and begin to pile up into a tiny mountain.

Pop "That's a lot…"

Sky "Yeah…"

Songstress looks at the two of them "Wait, these are all the same capsule... "

Pop and Sky looks at Songstress and Sky says "Then… does that?"

All three of them look back as the capsules open and the Negaminions jump out. As they attack, all three of them scatter with about 30 Negaminions chasing each of them.

Sky jumps away and reaches the rooftop.

Sky talks to herself "Wow, no matter how many times. I can't believe I can jump this high."

The Negaminions then follow her and also jump on top of the rooftop. Their shadow covers Sky and she looks back.

Sky "No way! They can jump this high too? Ah, wait… this is my chance… Ummm, let's see. Precure, Storm Wind!"

Sky spreads her arms open wide then waves them and crosses over her own arms as if she is sweeping the air towards them. As she does, two stormy gale hits the Negaminions and shreds the 8 or so Negaminions in the front.

Sky "Uwaa, that looks like it hurts. Sorry!"

The remaining Neaminions pay their comrade no mind and charges towards Sky. Sky immediately takes up her battle stand and exchanges a few blows. As she knocks down a few more Negaminions, she jumps back and gains some distance.

Sky "Huu… Good thing I trained a little. However, I should regroup."

As Sky tries to escape, the Negaminions jump in and attempt to keep fighting.

Sky "I guess they won't let me go… Alright, then I'll play with everyone!"

Sky then resumes her fight against the Negaminions.

On Pop's side, she is in an alleyway. At this moment, she already knocked down nearly half of the Negaminions.

Pop "Fighting these guys are tough. I hope Sky and Songstress are okay."

Then a Negaminions punches her.

However, Pop counts as she says "Step, turn, and punch!"

The Negaminion is sent flying from her fist. However, there are still many more Negaminions ready to fight.

Pop "Jees, they won't give up. Is there a way too… Oh, right! I should have one of those special attacks… Hmm, I'll do this then!"

Pop slaps her hands together and materializes a skateboard as she opens up.

She then jumps onto it and says "Precure, Colorful Rumble!"

Pop skates forward and then does a sharp turn. As she does, rainbow paint bursts out as if they are sparks. However, it is as if they carry heavyweight and power, it knocks several Negaminions back and causes them to fall unconscious.

Pop nods "Okay, there are only a few more. I need to finish this up and regroup with Sky and Songstress!"

While on the street, Songstress is also starting to finish up her fight.

Songstress "Precure, Note Impact!"

Songstress stands still and sings a note. It forms a sonic wave from her voice and hits the Negaminion. After a few more waves hit, a giant explosion happens.

Songstress "Haa… I never thought I would use my voice as a weapon. At least this is over."

Songstress looks around and sees Sky and Pop are heading over, trying to regroup. Songstress then does the same. She starts moving towards them.

When they regroup, Sky says "Good, everyone is okay."

Pop puts her hands on her waist "Of course!"

Songstress nods "Yeah."

Sky then looks at the tower "Alright, then let's keep going."

Pop and songstress "Yeah!"

The three of them immediately start running towards the tower.

Around the tower entrance, a Ginka is holding a binocular and sees Sky, Pop, and Songstress reground.

Ginka "They finished my powered-up Negaminions? Maybe I should have let them improve a bit more. They might at least injure them a little bit. Oh well, the next step is…. Those I guess."

Ginka looks back into the tower. There are 6 Negaminions who are wearing pieces of armor.

Ginka nods with a satisfied look "In the end, using equipment is probably more efficient than trying to improve the body. Go, my warriors!"

With her command, they run forward towards the three Cures.

Sky "Huh? Something is coming."

Pop squint her eyes "Hmm, looks like more Negaminions. However… armored?"

Songstress "More fighting?"

Sky "It can't be helped. To help save this country, we got to do it!"

Pop "Alright, then let's go!"

Pop then takes out her colorful skateboard and charges ahead.

Songstress "Wait, Pop! Hold on!"

Sky "Let's hurry up!"

Songstress nods and they pick up their pace, chasing after Pop.

In the front, Pop stops when she gets close "These Negaminions looks stronger…"

While looking a little troubled, the Negaminion punches Pop with a gauntlet. Pop jumps and avoids it. However, she did not see the second Negaminion right behind the first and could only block the second attack. With a powerful boom, Pop is sent flying at Sky and Songstress. Sky and Songstress, however, are able to catch her safely.

Sky asks "Are you okay?"

Pop nods "Yes, thanks. Sorry, I shouldn't have rushed ahead."

Songstress "Really, you scared me there. Good thing you are okay."

Pop then tries to laugh it off "Oh haha, yeah. I am surprised that I am okay too."

Sky "I guess being a Precure also means we are also much more durable."

Songstress nods "I think so too. But let's not get reckless and do it together."

Sky and Pop nod and the three take a stance next to each other. Ginka then walks forward and shows herself.

Ginka "Not bad. You took that hit well. I guess the introduction is in order. I am Ginka 22."

Sky "I'm Cure Sky and this is…"

Songstress "Cure Songstress."

Sky then looks at Pop "Cure Pop."

Sky "Any together we are…"

All three "Luminas Precure!"

Ginka then sighs "To think you three actually took the time to do the introduction. Either way, how long do you three think you can continue fighting?"

Sky "It's not about how long we can continue fighting. It's only a matter of time we defeat you and save everyone!"

Ginka stares at Sky with hostile eyes "You think you'll win that easy? Warriors, get rid of them!"

The Negaminions charges in and the three Cures as well. The Negaminions strikes first, but all three of them avoids and counters at the same time. Their attack, however, only manages to break their armor. The Negaminion then takes the chance attack. However, with perfect synergy, they switch places by back stepping without looking at each other. Each one of them follows up with a kick and knocks the three Negaminions out.

Ginka "Got you girls."

The three remaining Negaminions strike each one of them with a large energy-clad fist. With all three of them just kicked the Negaminion, they could only block. As they do, half of their leg sinks into the ground.

Pop "Wait, hold on…"

Songstress "This is a bit bad…"

Sky "Hnnn… No, not yet! If we can't hold, then let's just plunge them!"

Pop and Songstress smiles and all three of them twist their body and toss their fist into the ground. Then all three of them put both of their palms on their body and causes a burst of energy to come out of it and destroy the armor while knocking them out at the same time.

Ginka sighs "I guess that's it. That teamwork is a little unexpected."

Sky "All that's left is you."

Ginka then waves them off "Ah, forget it. Just hurry up with your finisher. I'm not a combatant."

All three Cure "Eh?"

Ginka looks annoyed "Look, if I were a combatant, I would have fought along with my warriors."

Sky "Ah… Then…"

Sky looks at Pop and Songstress.

Pop "Yep, let's do it!"

They put their hand on top of each other and a light starts shining from it. After it gets brighter as a few seconds go by, they raise their arm with a light ball floating in the air.

All three "Precure, Shining Excitement!"

The light sents out 3 pulses of lightwave before a final flash. As the waves hit Ginka, her chip cracks as well.

After it ends, Ginka stands there "The chip… I see, this will be fun."

Sky, Pop, and Songstress look at each other.

Sky "Uhmm, did we fail?"

Songstress "I'm not sure…"

Pop "Well, if it doesn't work, let's just try something else."

Ginka smiles with a chuckle "Don't worry, just go on ahead. The tower is yours."

Sky "Uhmm…"

Ginka sighs "Look, it's not like my sisters and I want to fight you girls. There is a situation that is forcing us to do it. But just now, my situation just got solved. So, I won't get in the way anymore, that's all."

The three looks at each other and nods with Sky thanking her "Thanks!"

They proceed towards the tower and left Ginka puzzled.

Ginka then mutters "Thanking me even though you just saved me. What a weird girl…"

When they reach the tower, Pop checks on the system.

Pop's head drops as she thinks "Hmm…"

Sky "Is it broken after all?"

Pop "Eh? Ah, I don't know. I'm just thinking what song we should use."

Songstress "Did you not check?"

Pop "Nope, but some function isn't working. So I think it's pointless to even try."

Sky then thinks "Hmm… Why not use that new song? It seems like everyone else is using new songs anyways."

Pop and Songstress look at each other and nod.

Songstress "Let's do it."

Pop "Yeah!"

The three of them nods and start getting ready. They change into their dress and runs on top of the tower.

Sky then comments "This tower, now I think about…"

Pop "Oh right, it fits our song name."

Songstress "Haha, then let's do it. A live performance on this stage!"

The three of them look at each other and nods one more time before they stand still, ready to perform.

When the song begins, Sky sings "Let's fill our bags to the brim with 'first times!' Pointed at the center of the map is our…"

All three "Excitement antenna!"

Then their aura shows up as one big aura together.

Pop "Just like usual…"

Sky "Opening the door…"

Then Songstress "But today's a different morning. As the first step to our journey, let's move forward from the right!"

Sky "An unknown town..."

Songstress "An unknown sky…"

Pop "No matter where in the world! I want to see how we're connected with my very own eyes!"

Sky steps back while Pop and Songstress come close together.

Songstress "That's it! I remember feeling like this long ago, like a brave girl!"

Pop "Everyone changes paths at the end of an adventure!"

Then Sky jumps in and all three sings "Let's fill our bags to the brim with 'first times!' Pointed at the center of the map is our excitement antenna. It's state-of-the-art."

Sky then jumps forward one more time "It'll update, YES! and we'll go on a trip!"

Then all three "Have a nice trip!"

The three of them jumps and start their special appeal. They do the same as their Shining Excitement, except the pulse stays around them. It becomes light rings and they pose with a shining background. Afterward, the light becomes blinding and they fall into it as they start their Swift Appeal. When they come out, all three of them have a large ring of light behind their back. They hold hands for a moment before doing another pose.

A group of six Cures is traveling to their destination while looking at Luminas performance.

Cure Dream "Wow, they are amazing. Hey Lemonade, you think you can do that?"

Cure Lemonade "I don't know, but… It looks interesting!"

Cure Rouge "What are you talking about? If any of us can do it, it's you."

Dream "That's right that's right!"

Cure Mint "However, at the current rate. We'll probably have to perform too."

Dream "Oh, that's right! Let's all perform together!"

Milky Rose "What makes you think you can perform like them?"

Cure Aqua "She is right, especially there are six of us. To perform and dance with synergy isn't that easy."

Dream "Well, come on. We already stand on the stage together, I'm sure we'll manage."

Lemonade "Yep! I'm sure we'll be fine!"

Aqua sighs "Fine, let's just do it when it comes down to it."

Dream "Then it's decided! We'll perform together!"
