Author's Note

I finally got this chapter done. Life got busy and then I got a bit sick. Which ends up delaying this chapter by so long. However, I manage to find out that Vanilla Chilly Pepper and Sky Girls basically is the same group of singer… I decided to just use one of their songs instead. The song, Dream Stage is quite amazing, but I had to switch around the lines for Juri and Madoka. Their roles in Sky-Girl are kind of a bit reversed?

Also, it has been a while so please let me know the quality of my writing and story for this Nebulex. After being away for 2 weeks because of my situation, I might need a bit of a wake-up call to keep myself motivated. Any comments or reviews are welcome! Either way, enjoy.

Chapter 13: Unusual Trio, Dream Stage!

Fiery, Fusion, and Angel are leaping in the sky, fast approaching their destination.

Fiery "Ohh! I can see the tower!"

Fusion "Finally, but that means…"

Angel nods "The enemy should be nearby."

Fiery stops as Fusion and Angel stops after her.

Fusion asks "What's wrong?"

Angel looks around "I don't see any enemies yet."

Fiery turns around "I don't either."

Angel asks "Then why did we stop?"

Fiery looks back at the tower "I don't know. But I feel like it's dangerous to keep going."

Fusion thinks for a moment and says "Then let me go scout ahead."

Angel "Eh? How are you going to…"

Fusion smiles and readies a pose "Let me show you! Precure, Dancing Illusion!"

With a short dance, she creates a rough copy of herself. Except it is slightly blueish and a tiny bit transparent.

Fiery "Ohh! Cool!"

Fusion nods and her clone rushes forward. Soon after, the clone runs into an invisible fence and is being electrocuted. A few seconds later, the clone fizzles into thin air.

Fiery "Bingo! There is something there. If we had run into that ourselves, that would've hurt."

Fusion "Rather than hurt, can we even survive that?"

Angel "Don't worry, they said we are stronger than usual. At worst, we'll probably just feel numb from that."

Fusion "That still sounds very painful so no."

Fiery "Either way, we need to find a way in."

Angel smiles "Don't worry, I got an idea!"

Fusion and Fiery look at Angel and at each other for a moment.

A while later, they are in one of the biggest buildings that are right on the barrier. They have a pushcart and a big box with them.

Angel "Now then, please hide in the box!"

Fusion "You mean… both of us?"

Angel nods with a big smile "Yes!"

Fiery "it can't be helped. This might be our best chance to get past the barrier."

Fiery starts getting in while Fusion sighs and says "This is gonna get really tight but… fine…"

After Fusion squeeze into the box, next to Fiery, Angel closes it. She then takes a tape and seals it up.

Fusion immediately asks "Wait, why are you sealing it?"

Angel "Isn't it normal to seal up boxes once it's full?"

Fusion "Well… yeah but…"

Fiery "Just hold on, it'll be fine."

Fusion "Fine…"

Angel "Don't worry, I'll take good care of you two. Now, change!"

Angel then changes her outfit into a suit that makes her look like a businesswoman.

She looks at herself for a bit and nods "This looks good! Time to go!"

Angel then starts pushing the cart and begins moving. However, as soon as they are about to enter past the barrier, there are two men looking like half a Negaminions.

The Negaminion to the right side asks "Who are you? I don't remember there is any supply required right now."

Angel answers "This is some spare parts. Some numbers were a little off and there is a chance of failure."

The other Neminion "Wait, you mean the barrier could go down? In that case…"

The two Negaminion looks at each other and they nod with agreement.

The previous Negaminion "Alright, go ahead. It's better than taking any chances. Hurry up and go."

Angel nods "Yep! Then I'll be moving in!"

Angel then proceeds to push her cart and moving past the barrier. Afterward, they stop by at a back end of a hallway and Angel unseals the box. Fusion and Fiery pops out of the breath, out of breath.

Fusion "Angel you… Ah..."

Fiery "Did you… forget to make…"

Fusion then finishes "Breathing holes?"

Angel blinks "Eh? Ah… I did forget, my bad."

Angel sticks her tongue out while apologizing. Fiery and Fusion look at her with disbelieve.

Fiery "Next time, please don't forget."

Fusion then says "Forget about next time, I'm not doing this ever again."

Angel "Hahaha, either way, let's keep moving. They will find out our little lie sooner or later."

Fiery "You are right, let's go!"

Fusion sighs and says "Right, let's go!"

While they are running towards the tower again, they see Ginka standing in front of them.

They stop as Ginka greets them "Nice to meet the three of you. I am Ginka 18,

Fiery "I'm Cure Fiery."

Fusion and Angel do the same, introducing themselves.

Ginka smiles "I never thought you girls would use such a cliche way to sneak past the barrier. Well done."

Angel "Hahaha, thanks! But it's kind of stupid that it worked."

Ginka chuckles "True, I didn't think they would let you pass like that."

Fusion, however, freaks out and looks at Angel "Wait hold on! What are you going to do if that failed?"

Angel thinks for a moment "Then we just have to proceed with plan B. It's just plan A was more interesting."

Fiery understood and strikes her fist onto the palm of her other hand "Ah, that's true. We could have just proceeded with plan B."

Fusion "Hold on, why do you know about plan B? I never heard of a plan B!"

Ginka answers "Plan B is most likely the most simple solution if plan A fails. It is just brute-forcing your way in, right?"

Angel "Bingo!"

Fiery "I knew it."

Fusion facepalm "Right, of course, that is plan B."

Ginka laughs "You three are interesting, it's too bad we can't be friends right now."

Ginka then shows up next to Fiery and Fusion. She throws out a punch as the two of them jump away. However, while the fist missed, both of them are hit and blown away.

Fusion lifts herself off the ground with one hand while in mid-air to recover and questions "What?"

Fiery backflips and lands safely and says "It seems like we got hit by something invisible."

Angel "Oh! Could it be the barrier?"

Ginka "I didn't expect the airhead-looking girl would be the first to figure it out. Yes, my ability is to generate barriers."

Fusion "But that barrier… Well, at least is not the same electrocuting barrier."

Ginka sighs "I wish I can make the same as quickly. That would make this fight much easier."

Fiery "Are you sure it's okay to tell us about that? Now that we know more about your power…"

Ginka smiles and looks at Fiery "No problem, my barrier is still strong enough to protect me from any harm!"

Ginka leaps at Fiery and kicks her. Fiery tries to block the kick this time. However, Fiery is hit before the leg and the barrier kick sends her flying into a building.

Fusion charges in with a punch while worried about Fiery "Fiery! You…"

Ginka blocks her fist with a barrier behind her back and slowly looks back at Fusion.

Ginka "I have no blind spot. But since you are this close…"

Ginka let go of her barrier and Fusion's fist follow through. Ginka dodges it just barely and knee kicks Fusion as a counter.

Fusion "Gahh!"

Ginka "And now… Up you go!"

A barrier emits from her knee and launches Fusion into the air.

Angel "Fusion! In that case, I'll use this!"

Angel forms a bow and shouts "Precure, Sweet Angelic Bomb Arrow!"

Ginka quickly forms a spheric barrier and protects herself. The arrow explodes and knocks Ginka back.

Ginka "Ah, seriously. What is with that long name? But I have to give you the credit for it being a strong attack. The amount of shaking from that attack, I hate it. If it wasn't for my barrier, I might have been knocked out. "

Fusion then lands next to Angel and slowly gets up. Meanwhile, Fiery climbs out of the debris and regroups as well.

Angel "But I thought I could catch you off guard and defeat you there."

Angel then looks at Fiery and Fusion "Are you two okay?"

Fusion answers while rubbing her stomach "It hurts but I'm okay."

Fiery nods "Same, I'm fine as well. However…"

Ginka "There is no way you three can win. As long as you three cannot destroy my barrier, I will win eventually."

Fiery then thought of an idea and grabs Fusion and Angel.

Ginka looks at them and sighs "A strategy meeting? You think I'll give you time?"

Ginka leaps in and readies a punch again.

However, Fiery finishes delivering her plan and turns around and kicks Ginka. Ginka's barrier blocks it, but Fiery's goal wasn't to destroy the barrier or hurt Ginka. She pushes Ginka away and sends her flying backward.

Ginka "What? Just what do you think…"

Before she finishes, Fusion is behind her with a punch ready. Ginka immediately forms a barrier behind her as well.

Fusion "Here is part 2 of our attack!"

Fusion punches Ginka but also pushes more than trying to damage her instead.

Fusion "You too? But if it is only this much…"

Before Ginka notices, Angel is right below her.

Angel "This time, it's your turn to go up!"

Angel kicks as Ginka decides to form another spheric barrier again. The kick sends her into the air while Fiery jumps up.

Ginka "Another one?"

Fiery nods "Yep! This is my plan!"

Fiery punches the hard barrier and sends Ginka flying again. As result, Ginka becomes a ball and is getting passed around by the three of them. Eventually, all the shaking causes Ginka to lose focus and they land a successful hit.

Fiery "Alright, we did it! Now it's time to end this!"

Fiery strikes a pose and says "Precure, Passionate Flares!"

Waves of flame hit Ginka and eventually the control chip inside her breaks.

Ginka "Ahhh!"

Fusion "Finally defeated her."

Angel "She is a tough opponent."

Fiery checks on her and smiles "Looks like she just passed out as the other Ginka."

Angel smiles "Then there is nothing we need worry about. Let's move on into the tower!"

Fiery nod "Yeah, Let's go!"

Fusion silently agrees and follows Fiery and Angel to the tower.

Fiery and Fusion checks on the system and they sigh.

Fiery "I guess this tower is the same."

Fusion "I was hoping this one works."

Angel "So does that mean we'll have to perform as well? I'm kind of excited!"

Fusion "But… shall we use that?."

Angel then thinks "Since Luminus and others are showing off their new songs. Why don't we do it as well?"

Fusion makes an exciting smile "hahaha, now this is getting exciting!"

Fiery then laughs "Haha, let's show them who the star is!"

Fusion smiles as Angel nods "Yes! Let's do it!"

Fiery then gets a big smile on her face "Yep! Now let's go!"

A moment later, the three of them show up on top of the tower. As the music starts, the three of them Fusion to the song. Their aura shows up fast and starts shining at full power.

All three of them together "Shadows emerge into the blinding spotlight. As long as there's the three of us, there's nothing to be afraid of!

Fiery then starts a solo "Our first showtime…"

Angel then follows up "We'll reach out to you,"

Fusion "Presenting you with our greatest…"

Then all together "Shining harmony, filled with excitement (excitement) and thrills!"

Then their auras blend together and

Angel then sings "When our three melodies…"

Fusion "Become together as one."

Fiery "We burst on stage to the rhythm!"

Then three of them together again "Singing out with our dreams!"

Fiery then quickly begins another solo "Dream Stage! If you would just listen closely to us."

Fusion "We'll keep singing to you no matter what time it is

Angel "Dream Stage! The city lights shine like Broadway!"

Fiery then sings "And when the beating of our hearts echo, we'll always be your… Superstar! Superstar…"

While Fiery's voice continues, three of them begin their special appeals. The three of them jump up and takes a step with tiny hops and strikes pose together. The three enjoy their moment and with a tiny nod to each other, they move on into swift appeal.

Each of them materializes their signature flavor in front of them. They let them go and it flies up into the sky. Then with a shine, it explodes with shining glitters falling down. The three of them hug for a moment and make another pose while sticking closely to each other. Making the best performance they can, they continue to sing and Fusion with everything they got.

From some distance away, five cure is passing by.

Cure Heart "Wow, they are good! Ah, but you'll always be my number one, sword!"

Cure Sword "Thanks, but they are good. No, every Aikatsu Idol is really good. Probably better than I am."

Cure Diamond "That's a little surprising to hear. But considering they have the Aikatsu system, I guess it's not surprising."

Cure Rosetta "I wonder can I buy the rights to use that system."

Heart "Ohh! That'll be amazing!"

Sword nods "Yes, the Aikatsu system will surely change how idol works."

Cure Ace "While that's all nice and all, let's save the people here first!"

Diamond agrees "Right, until then, getting the Aikatsu system over to our world would be nothing but a dream."

Heart smiles "Then let's hurry up and save everyone, let's go!"

Everyone nods with an answer "Yeah!"
