Author's Note

Sorry, this chapter took so long. I had an issue picking out the song and somehow made me a bit unmotivated. In the end, I decide to use a song from the Dokidoki Precure series and break it up. I'm genuinely surprised that there is no song with all five cure that is unique to the cd sound tracks for that season. Well, I hope I have recovered and will start writing more often. So for now, enjoy this chapter.

Chapter 14: Dokidoki Idols, Forte Jump Up Girls!

While still a little far away from the tower, Dokidoki Precure is leaping through the air towards their destination. When they are finally getting closer, Cure Heart gets a big smile on her face.

Cure Heart "Alright! We are almost there!"

Cure Diamond "Heart, calm down a little."

Rosetta "Haha, but I can understand why."

Heart nods "Yep! That's why I want to hurry up and get to the tower!"

Heart pulls slightly ahead while Cure Ace sighs.

Ace "Seriously what's with her?"

Diamond "Probably because we might get to perform with Sword."

Cure Sword points at herself "With me?"

Rosetta "Oh, that's right. Heart is a big fan of yours."

Sword then makes a worrying face "But Heart's singing…"

Ace "Well, that one time she performed as a cure was fine. We also get a share of the idol skill because of that little skill mix."

Rosetta "Oh, so that means she will do pretty good."

Heart spins around and waves "Hey! Let's hurry up!"

Diamond makes a wry smile "Haha… I guess she is excited."

Ace "I hope everything turns out okay."

Rosetta nods and Sword says "Me too…"

The cures then pick up their pace and keep up with Heart.

When they get closer to the tower, a Ginka walks out from the tower and greets them. This Ginka however, is wearing a maid outfit.

The maid Ginka greets them with etiquette and says "Greetings dear Precure, I am Ginka 24. Under normal circumstances, I would love to invite everyone here to have a party. However, I must ask everyone to leave."

Every single cure is surprised by the formal greeting Ginka gives them.

Heart "Eh, ah, hello."

Diamond "That's some greetings."

Sword "This is rather unexpected."

Ace nods "Yes… Ginka 24, it's a pleasure to meet you."

Rosetta smiles "Yes, it is our pleasure to meet you. I hope you have a good day today."

Ginka "Thank you for your concern. It has been quite well. It would be better if everyone is willing to make a small compromise. Otherwise, I will have to fulfill my duty of guarding this tower."

Rosetta then puts a hand on her face "Ah, that would ruin a good day. However, you should know our answer, right?"

Ginka nods "Yes, it is unfortunate. I would love to see that we can avoid fights."

Rosetta "Yes, I agreed. However, there are things that are simply unavoidable."

Ginka retorts "That may be true, but I think it's better if you Precures take the commander instead."

Rosetta "It would be nice if it is that simple, but…"

Heart then cuts into the conversation "Ahh, that's enough! All that it matters is that we need that tower!"

Rosetta "Oh, that's right."

Diamond "So at the end, it has come down to this."

Ace "Well, it's not all bad. Many other teams have already finished. I'm sure we'll manage."

Sword "In that case, let's go! Holy Sword!"

Sword gathers energy in her hand and fires spade-shaped daggers at Ginka.

Ginka smiles and takes out a stick. It then extends and unfolds into a broom.

Ginka "Time to do some cleaning."

With a single sweep, a strong gust is blasted towards the daggers and destroys it.

Ace "This maid…"

Diamond "Yeah, strong."

Heart "However…"

Heart jumps forward while saying "We can't stop here!"

Heart punches Ginka. Ginka easily blocks it with her broom.

Every other cure then says "Yeah!"

Heart gets pushed back while Diamond and Ace try to kick Ginka from each side. Ginka quickly spins her broom and blocks their kick at each end of it.

Diamond "What?"

Ace "I guess it's not going to easy."

Ginka smiles "Of course!"

She then pulls her broom away and sweeps downward. It creates another gust of wind and blows Diamond and Ace onto the ground. Both of them barely manage to recover in time for the crash. Rosetta then jumps in with her hand covered with her.

Rosetta "Ei!"

Ginka blocks the attack with her broom again. However, Rosetta's fist breaks the broom. Ginka immediately backs off and looks at her broken broom.

Rosetta then smiles "Just as I thought!"

Ginka looks at Rosetta "How?"

Rosetta answers "Usually, the joints where it extends and folds are the weak spot. Even though it's barely visible, it's still there."

Ginka looks at her broom and smiles "Thanks for telling me. I'll have to be careful now."

Ginka then takes out another stick, which also unfolds into a broom.

Ginka "Now it's my turn!"

Ginka quickly dash in at Rosetta and strikes her with the forend of the broom. Rosetta puts her shield in front of her and blocks it.

Rosetta "Enn! Strong…"

Ginka "It's not over!"

Ginka then tries to follow with a kick, but it is stopped by Heart's counter kick.

Heart "Hehe! I knew you are going to do this!"

Ginka then backs away "I see, you are good at reading people and has a good amount of awareness."

Heart "Eh? I guess?"

Ginka looks at Heart, trying to understand her.

Diamond then says "Don't worry too much, that's just how she is."

Heart then asks "Hold on, what do you by that?"

Ace "Either way, we should end this soon!"

Ace then jumps in with a punch. Ginka turns around and blocks it. However, similar to Rosetta, she breaks the broom.

Sword then follows up with a hand chop from behind "Opening!"

Ginka "I don't think so!"

Ginka quickly unfolds another broom and blocks it. However, Diamond drops down from the sky and kicks the broom to break it again.

GInka clicks her tongue "Tsk… Annoying!"

Rosetta and shoots her shields at Ginka. She blocks it but is being pushed back.

Heart then shows up behind Ginka "And this is it!"

Heart does a full roundhouse kick at Ginka and hits her in the back.

Ginka let out a gasp of air "Gah!"

Ginka gets send flying and crashes onto a building.

Heart then shouts "Alright, everyone!"

Everyone "Okay!"

Everyone then takes out their lovely pad and immediately sends a share of their power.

Everyone except Heart "Our power, to Cure Heart!"

After Heart receives it, she puts her hand on her pad.

Heart "Precure, Lovely Straight Flush!"

Their attack connects Ginka and while with a bit of resistance, the chip inside her breaks as well.

Ginka falls onto the ground and looks at them "Haa, finally."

Heart "Uhmm, are you okay now? Since every other Ginka seems to change after being defeated."

Heart walks over and extends her hand to helps Ginka stand up.

Ginka grabs her hand and says "Yes, thanks to you girls. However, the damage I receive will take a bit of time to repair."

Rosetta "If you need help with repair, I can help you after this is over."

Ginka shakes her head "No, I am good. Besides, I don't feel like letting you know everything about us and give you the chance to create a replica."

Rosetta "Ara, was it that obvious?"

Ginka "Yes."

Despite what Ginka says, every other Cure is surprised.

Diamond "Rosetta…"

Sword "Wow…"

Ace "As expected of the heir of the Yotsuba…"

Heart "Well, too bad I guess?"

Rosetta nods "Yes it is. It would be amazing if we can produce something similar."

Ginka sighs "Anyways, shouldn't you girls head over to the tower?"

Heart "Ah, that's right!"

Ace "Let's hurry up, we need to turn the people here back to normal."

Everyone nods and starts running into the tower.

After they enter the tower, Heart immediately takes out the cards she received from Shiratori Hime.

Diamond "Heart, hold on. Let's check the system first."

Heart "It's probably half broken and the only thing we can do is perform, just like everyone else."

Rosetta "Then let me go set it up!"

Sword sighs then says "Well, I can understand your excitement."

Ace "But the dress, it's weird how the cards are dress."

Ace then takes out the cards she received and looks at them. It shows a dress from Sakurairo Kaden.

Rosetta then says "Okay, done! Now, why don't we get our dress ready?"

Diamond and Sword nod and together with Rosetta, the three of them take out their cards.

Diamond "Dress from Glorious Snow, I'm not sure if this fits me."

Sword smiles "Don't worry too much. A dress is just a dress. It changes whenever another person wears it. You were given those by the top idols, it must fit you in some way. Instead, mine isn't too different from what I used to wear. Futuring Girl, this is quite similar."

Rosetta then smiles and looks at her cards "As for me, Retro Clover is quite an interesting dress. I have never wear a dress like this before but… It's really exciting just thinking about how I will perform in this."

Heart nods "Yep! Is everyone ready?"

Everyone nods and Heart says "Then let's go, to our stage!"

The five of them run onto the top of the tower, where they will have their stage. They look at each other and nod while getting into position.

Then starting with Diamond "The wind blows…"

Rosetta "The flowers smell…"

Ace "The Stars go round…"

Sword "The birds fly…"

Heart "Girls shine bright…"

Then everyone together "The beat of our heart is its forte! The rhythm of love!"

The five of them dances and does some high fives in between the verse.

Rosetta then starts the next part "The mirror reflects yourself, but it hasn't changed from yesterday."

Diamon "But hey, everything is actually different!"

Ace "Studying, friendships, love, and dreams are scrambled with all your might."

Heart "Because I'll face these challenges with all I've got!"

Sword "Be honest with what you like, smile with the person you like!"

Then everyone together again "So to roughly summarize, it would be this. Simple, isn't it? But it's still a little hard?"

The five of them then quickly form a circle and then sings together "Lightly ride on the wind, wear a flower, wish upon a star, hop step jump up! Believe in the future and push on, guide your heart! The action of love!"

They quickly start their special appeal. Everyone draws up a heart and Heart gathers energy to form an L. Then follow up with Diamond with an O, Rosetta with V, Sword with E, and Ace with a giant heart bubble. They gather around the LOVE bubble surround it.

Then with Swift Appeal, the bubble starts swelling up and explodes. All five of them then flies out while in the Parthenon Mode. After flying around a bit, they gather around with another pose. Afterward, they continue to perform

While the Dokidoki Precure is performing, four girls stop to watch for a bit.

Cure Center "Oh, they are doing quite well."

Cure Drive "Yeah, but…"

Drive looks at the city damages and everyone else does the same.

Cure Allure "This is quite sad. Seeing a city being damaged."

Cure Fun "Yeah! This is a big no no! Let's hurry up and beat up the bad guys!"

Drive "Yeah, but keep in mind to try and make sure the city gets minimum damage."

Fun "Got it!"

Alluregiggles "Hehe, but this is a bit exciting."

Center nods "Yeah, I can't believe I get to do with you three. Let's make sure we do it well and save the people in the next area!"

Drive, Allure, and Fun "Yeah!"

Then one by one, they leave the area and start rushing towards their objective.
