AN: Sorry for the late update. Enjoy!

Wash turned his beer around on the bar, staring at it as his thoughts wandered. He had ended up at a bar not far from Carolina and his apartment. He didn't know what he was doing anymore. It never was a problem for him to make decisions before, but he had never damaged his brain before either.

Tucker appeared next to him and took a stool at the bar. "Hey, your text seemed urgent. You okay?"

Wash chuckled, still staring at his beer. "No, I'm not. I got into a fight with Carolina and I'm not exactly sure why."

"And you called me? Wow, you must have fucked up good. What'd you do?" He flagged the bartender and ordered the same beer as Wash.

"That's the problem. Ever since my accident, I get angry so quickly. I yelled at Carolina for pushing me so hard and I know it wouldn't have been anything different than the military. I busted my ass and body to get through the Freelancer project training. Hell, I've broken bones in basic training and all she did was run me through the obstacle course." Wash took a breath. "Something happened when we were going through the tower. I Suddenly didn't know where I was or what I was doing. I fell on my back and barked at her that I wasn't ready. I've never been so angry in my life."

"Did Dr. Gray say that that was normal?"

"She said it would be normal to not remember things. I didn't remember who Doyle was or how to run a simple obstacle course. She never said anything about the anger."

Tucker took a pull from his drink. "Maybe you should talk with a counselor, or something."

Wash chuckled. "That is one thing I do remember. We had a counselor in the Freelancer Project and he was less than helpful."

Tucker was silent as Wash talked. "You know, I had to pull her back when you were being taken by Locus."

"What do you mean?" Wash asked.

"She wanted to go with you to the hospital when you got shot and Locus was going to take you. She didn't say it, but I think she was panicking that you weren't going to make it. I know you're the last Freelancers left, but this seemed more. I had to pull her away and remind her she had a job to do. She got the job done and immediately went to the hospital to be with you."

Wash was looking at him. "I had no idea."

Tucker shook his head. "Yeah. She was adamant about it. Was she like this with York?"

Wash shook his head no.

"Well, as a lover, I can tell she's in love with you."

Wash opened his mouth to argue but closed it. He had never noticed her small actions that favored him. He wasn't sure if she would have supported York like she has with him. "So what do I do, Love Expert?"

"Go and apologize. Say you're sorry and kiss her. Get under that cyan armor if you can." He said with a wink.

Wash laughed. "Thanks Tucker. I don't think anyone can get under her armor, but I'll start with apologizing." He finished his beer and paid for his and Tucker's before leaving the bar.

"Wow," Tucker said to himself. "He's fucked."
