Notes: These three drabbles include O'Brien, Jim, and Amon in Dark World.
Summary: Three of the transfer students have differing views on Dark World and the events transpiring within.
O'Brien wasn't fond of Dark World. It was dark, for one thing, and little by little the group he'd come with had been whittled down until it was just him and Jim left together. Their search for Shou and Juudai wasn't getting anywhere and frequently they had to halt said search to acquire the coins to purchase food and drink. He was skilled in hunting and fishing, so they didn't have to stop as often as others might have, but when game was thin and enemies thick, they did what they had to do.
So they stood guard duty for a few days, or helped someone harvest a crop, or whatever it was they had to do in order to earn meals and a safe place to rest. No one knew where Juudai or Shou might be. No one knew where a way back to Earth might be. So their search continued, no matter how futile it looked.
O'Brien didn't give up.
