Summary: Three of the transfer students have differing views on Dark World and the events transpiring within.

""Whoo!" Jim threw his head back and yelped in delight as they roared across the terrain in Cenozoic Fossil Machine Skullbuggy. He knew that O'Brien wasn't going to like this. He preferred they keep their heads down as much as possible. Part of him knew that O'Brien was right about that. They didn't want to draw unwarranted attention.

But regardless, this place felt so much like home that he couldn't stop himself. Sure, home had sunlight and a wind that smelled like fresh air and the ocean and so many other things, not the slightly dead blowing of air they got here. But the parts where almost anything wanted to try to kill you? That was a regular weekday as far as Jim was concerned.

He wouldn't be able to stay here forever. He had to return home, sooner or later, somehow. But until then, he'd enjoy himself where he could find the means to do so.

The End

Notes: Jim probably feels safer in Dark World. At least he can talk to the creatures that want to kill him.
