It's near the end of Golden Week and me and Taiga were waiting for Ryuuji to finish making breakfast, I was playing with Maple with string toy, while Taiga was watching the news. To catch you all up, I introduced Ryuuji and Taiga to my cat a they liked her instantly, Taiga likes maple the most out of the two.

"Well folks, today is the last day of Golden Week! So how are you planning to spend the day?" the reporter said

"Stuck inside, dying from boredom. That's how. All because of two mangy mutts." she responded to the tv, and referring to me and Ryuuji

"Yeah, right. Like it's our fault you didn't get to see Kitamura all break long. He did warn us he'd be busy with softball practice and student council stuff, so-" Ryuuji said justifying the situation as he laid down our breakfast for the three of us

"It's your job as my dogs to make it happen, regardless." she shot back as Taiga laid across the floor with her eyes closed

"Yeah, and then watch you crash and burn trying to talk to him." he mumbled leaving Taiga to open her eyes quickly, noticable blush, and shot upright.

"Yeah, why don't yo-" she said annoyed, slamming both her fist on the table causing her soup to spill on her dress she was wearing

"Nice job Taiga... " I said sarcastically to her

"Go get a rag Ren, I got some on my dress!" she said, I sighed and went to find a rag as she continued

"If Ryuuji wasn't talking stupid, it wouldn't have happened!"

"If that were true Taiga, you would've talk to him by now" I shot back as I hear her grumbling I found a rag when I heard Ryuuji's mom, noticably hung over, waking up as a give Taiga the rag, Yasuko starts to whimper with tears in her eyes

"You were just gonna let me sleep while you ate all the rice omelettes by yourself?" she said squirming

"Chill out! I wrapped yours up and put it in the fridge!" Ryuuji said which clamed her down as she stopped her squirming

"But… did you write my name on it? And with ketchup like how I like it?" she asked him

"No, but I will. So stop crying already." Ryuuji replied

"Okay. I guess I'll go back to sleep then…" Yasuko sniffled, closed eyes and slid the door closed, I peeked over to Taiga trying to get the stain out of her dress with the rag.

"What am I gonna do? It's gonna leave a stain!" she said as the stain is not coming out

"It might come out in the wash, but you have to pre-treat it." Ryuuji replied but adopted a smug look as he moved closer to Taiga

"Or… you can let me do it. And in exchange…"

"I take you to Johnny's?" she said finishing his sentence

"Come on, why not? It's not like I can go there by myself, right? Besides, what happened to you helping me with Kushieda, huh? Huh?" Ryuuji pressed on

"He does have a point" I agreed with his statement which made Taiga annoyed

"Ugh, shut up both of you before I cut you!" she threatened

"What?" Ryuuji said concern as I took a bite of my omelette

"This will be a long day" I thought to myself as I gave a small piece of my omelette to maple.

Timeskip

I had to take maple home so I told Ryuuji and Taiga to go to Johnny's and I'll catch up with them. I was on my way to the restaurant and I couldn't help that something is going to, I'm not sure what it is though

I went in first and told the front desk I was with Ryuuji and Taiga and I was able to spot the booth they were in and I sat next to Ryuuji

"Hey" Ryuuji said

"Hey sorry that took so long" I said as Taiga looked at the front desk and then looked at the magazine while Ryuuji tried shake off my apology

"Not a prob-" but Taiga slammed him with magazine and said

"Ryuji! Look!"

"…Got it. The bag." he responded muffled

"No, not that! I'm talking about the model!" she said pulling the magazine and pointing at the same girl I met.

"Okay? So…" he replied, then Taiga grabbed the top of Ryuuji's head and forcefully turned it to the front at the front desk making him look at the girl, and now he was shocked that it was the same model from the magazine.

"It's the same girl, isn't it?" she asked

"Yeah, you're right!" Ryuuji answered

"Her name is Ami Kawashima. Daughter of Anna Kawashima, the actress!" Taiga continued

"What's she doing in a place like this?" Ryuuji questioned as the two drinked there water a the same, the bell on the door ringed to someone walking in to reveal...

"Hey, Ami! Sorry I'm late." Kitamura said to Kawashima as Ryuuji and Taiga spitting both of there water at the same time.

"K-k-k-k-Kitamura?!" Taiga stuttered shockingly as Kitamura saw the three of us and waved and said

"Oh! Hi, Takasu! Hi, Aisaka! Hi Saikawa! I didn't know you three were here!"

The two of them were coming this way, then Taiga was grabbing Ryuuji shirt sleeve as she panicked.

"Look at you two, all holding hands. Are you guys on a date, or something?" he asked as Ryuuji and Taiga took there hands of each other at the same

"If they were in a date I wouldn't be here Kitamura, please don't jump to conclusions" I said annoyed while he rubbed the back of his head embarrassingly

"Right sorry" he responded

"What's going on here, Yusaku?" the blue haired girl asked as the tension cooled down a bit, and a bit odd she called Kitamura by his first name.

"Oh, right. I guess I should introduce everybody. This is Ami Kawashima. She used to live in my neighbourhood. We grew up together and have been friends since we were kids. Anyway, this is Ryuji Takasu, Taiga Aisaka, and Ren Saikawa." he said introduced the blue haired model to us.

I heard Taiga mutter something under her breath since her and Ryuuji weren't going to greet her i guess it had to be me.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Kawashima" I said with a smile and she did the same with her eyes closed for a brief time

"Nice to meet you too! Oh… is that…" she replied and then she noticed the magazine with her in it.

"Oh yeah... Aisaka was looking through this and we noticed yo-" I said trying to explain but she interrupted me

"Oh my god… this is so embarrassing! I should have spent more time on my makeup and picking out better clothes! When I'm not working, I tend to slack off." she said embarrassingly

"No it's ok you look nice" I said reassuringly which calmed her down which prompted Kitamura to speak up.

"Since we're all here, do you mind if we join you? Is that ok, Ami?" he asked us then asked Kawashima.

"Of course!" she said with a smile.

Later on we had to rearrange the seating me, Ryuuji and Taiga shared one side of the booth while Kawashima and Kitamura sat on the other side of the booth

"This place sure brings back memories!" Kawashima said Kitamura

"We used to come here all the time as kids." he replied with a nod

"Our parents loved this restaurant!...Here you go, Saikawa" she said while pouring sugar from a packet for my coffee it kinda surprised me.

"Oh, sorry! Did you want artificial sweetener instead?" she asked but I couldn't respond properly

"I guess you like your coffee without sweetener, then." she continued jumping to conclusions which Kitamura pointed out and reached out and placed her hands on mine and I slightly blushed at the sudden contact

"I'm so sorry! I saw Yusaku put some in his, so I just...This always happens to me. It's my clumsiness kicking in. I guess everyone's right when they call me an airhead. I'm sorry!" she said with a wink

"No it's ok, I actually like my coffee really sweet " I said with a slight smile

"You're sweet! Thanks for understanding!" she replied and realized her hands were on mine, she pulled back and she had a flustered look on her face.

"Oh my god, what am I doing?" she asked to herself

"Oh! Sorry, I-" I tried to apologize but Kawashima stopped me

"Oh please! You don't have to apologize for anything!"

"Excuse me, I need to use the men's room." Kitamura said as he left, and me and Ryuuji is left with Taiga and Kawashima.

"I supposed I have to go to the restroom too" I said excusing myself as well, no way I was dealing with the sudden awkward silence. It appears Ryuuji did the same and followed me

"Awkward silence… no thank you." Ryuuji said to me

"I agree" I replied but what we didn't realize was that Kitamura was leaning against the wall near the vending machine and said.

"I knew you weren't going to stay there much longer." I snapped to see Kitamura and Ryuuji did the same.

"I thought you were in the bathro-!" I replied but Kitamura signaled us to be quiet and also to come next him

"Ok, what are we doing?" Ryuuji asked

"I want you two, your honest opinion about something. Now that you two met her, what do you think about Ami?" Kitamura asked

"Are kidding me man, you bring this very cute girl over and all I can do is be nervous." I replied with slight annoyance

"I have to agree with Saikawa" Ryuuji chimed in

"You're right. She is cute." Kitamura said putting invisible quotation marks on is which confused me be I responded with more thoughts on Kawashima.

"She's really nice too, sure she's kinda airheaded, but she sounds very sweet" Kitamura chuckled at my comment and started peeking out of the wall prompting me and Ryuuji to do the same as we looked at the booth.

"…Yeah. Just give her a minute" he as we looked at Kawashima as she started to stretched her back towards the seat and started to moan loudly.

"God… this is such a drag. Hey, I'm out of iced tea. Why don't you make yourself useful and get me another, okay?" she said stretching her empty glass with ice to Taiga, who continued to look at the magazine not listening to Kawashima's demand.

"Ignoring me, huh?" Kawashima scowled a bit

"Oh I know!!! I'll just have Saikawa to do it.The way he's acting now, I have a feeling he'd do anything I ask!" she said pulling out a small mirror and started admiring her reflection

"You don't mind if I steal your brother, do you? Hahahaha Not that I even want him!" she continued to Taiga who was still engrossed in the magazine and finally said

"Yeah, Saikawa is my brother and as my wolf he's not allowed to date anyone under any circumstance" Taiga replied with an indifferent and annoyed look.

"Oh, really? Well, I didn't care, anyway." Ami respond with a bored expression.

Back to us, me and Ryuuji couldn't believe what just happened, the sweet girl who's a model changed personalities on a dime Kitamura turned to face the two of us

"There you go. You two just saw Ami's true nature. Spoiled, selfish, and bossy. Just your typical princess." he said and Ryuuji responded

"More like a princess whose been possessed by a demon." for I still was in shock but it turn to frustration.

"I still can't believe that the sweet girl I just met was a persona for a more spoiled and mean person underneath, and it makes sense, no girl who flirts with no meaning would like me for me" my thoughts stop as I missed some parts of the conversation between Taiga and Kawashima.

"Let's change the subject. How tall are you anyway? I'm asking because I just noticed how out of scale you look. I didn't even know they sold clothes in your size! You probably have to hem your jeans like, a lot!" Kawashima said mocking Taiga's small height, but it stopped when Taiga slapped Kawashima which i was expecting alot sooner.

Kawashima held her cheek in shock, tears threatening to fall

"There was a mosquito on your face. Oh wait, a fly." Taiga quipped looking at the black speck on her hands which prompted Kawashima to stand up angrily and slammed the table with her free hand and said

"Okay, you teeny little-!" Taiga blew the speck off her hand, she looked up to see Kitamura return to the table and so did me and Ryuuji

"Hey, Ami. Time for us to leave." he said, giving Kawashima enough time to revert to her fake voice and faked crying, he also told I Taiga that they have to go and the color drained from her, the three of us stared in disbelief, none of us said a word as we left.

Night

"More!!" To say Taiga was angry would be an understatement as she ate her dinner like a crazy person, she gave her empty bowl of rice to Ryuuji but didn't take it.

"More of what? You ate two and a half bowls. There's none left." he replied with a blank look on his face

"Ugh! If it wasn't for that stupid bitch, I wouldn't be so hungry now! Just thinking about her makes my stomach empty." she sighed in frustration

"makes it turn is the correct saying" I said petting maple as the cat is sleeping on my lap

"I know it bothered Kitamura" I continued while Taiga covered her mouth with her hands.

"Oh no! What am I gonna do? Now he's gonna hate me for slapping her!" she replied in a panic

"No, I seriously doubt that. He saw the whole thing go down and-" Ryuuji said but Taiga slammed her hands on the table and had a really angry look on her face.

"I hate her… I really hate her." she replied with a angry

"It's not a big deal" Ryuuji said trying to calm her down but now she turned her attention to me with a glare and said

"And you! All googly eyes at her!"

"I wasn't making googly eyes at her Taiga" shutting down her accusation

"Whatever! Any person who goes around telling people that people tell them they're airheads all the time are some really screwed up people! It's not like I'm ever going to see her again, anyway. I'll just suck it up like the mature person I am and swallow my hatred for her." she said regaining composer but started to eat some of Ryuuji's food.

"Hey! That's mine!" he said

"Shut Up!!" she yelled with food in her mouth as I put my hand in my face and I gave a sigh and we finished and said our goodbyes for, not ready for what's next.

Morning

As if Taiga's statement last night was heard by a higher power because we have a new student joining our class. (You wanna take a guess?)

"I just transferred here, and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone! I'm Ami Kawashima, but please just call me Ami!" she said in the same fake sweet and bubbly voice she did in the restaurant yesterday and everyone in the class either marveled at her beauty or asked questions if she was a model and I heard our homeroom teacher speak up and said

"Okay, class! Let's all do our best to make our new friend feel welcome!, now let's find you a seat" the class erupted in applause and then all of them jumped at the opportunity to have Kawashima sit next to them. She looked around to see Taiga and nervously looked away.

Taiga on the other hand, angry wasn't even close to what she's feeling right now it was pure hatred, she curled hand into a fist and she bared her teeth, honestly it almost looked like fangs, eyes burning with hate.

"This will be a long day" I thought to myself as look at the window what I didn't notice was that Kawashima was looking at me for whatever reason.

Gym Class

Excitement filled in 2-C's gym class as the students stared in awe to see Kawashima, since she didn't have school gym clothes she had her own, she was speaking to Nanako and Kihara how she stuck out with her different gym clothes in her fake tone and said she wanted to be the same like everyone else and got complimented for it.

Taiga looked at the scene with a glare but then she looked at Kushieda who had an antenna on her head

"Okay, she's super cute and she's got a great body, but something's fishy here! When I aim my radar for detecting cute girls at her, it doesn't pick anything up! Maybe it needs recalibrating." she said as the antenna was rotating

"You're so weird." Taiga said with a slight smile, all of a sudden she heard a scream she turned to see Kawashima with her butt on the ground still with her fake voice questioning how she tripped on nothing Kashii and Maya said that she's a bit clumsy and an airhead and Kawashima said people think that because she doesn't pay attention as Maya offered a hand to help her back up.

Me, Ryuuji and Kitamura were by the fence stretching and I was the first to speak up.

"She has everyone in the palm of her hand huh?" I said to Kitamura

"Yeah. She's mastered the art of winning people over" he replied

"So, the other day. Why didn't you tell us she was transferring to our school?" Ryuuji asked Kitamura

"If I said anything, Ami wouldn't have shown her true nature. And that defeats the purpose." he said garnering confusion from me and Ryuuji

"What do mean?" I asked

"All the years I've known Ami, I never had a problem with her personality. I just want people to see her for the kind of person she really is, and decide if they like her based on that." he explained

"I supposed..." i said still unsure

"If they end up hating her, she'll be forced to confront it. I just don't want her to keep on living a lie. That's all." he finished as we continue and finished gym class

In The Classroom

In class I see Kawashima talking to Kihara and Nanako. I walked out of the classroom with a sigh and decided to go to the vending to get something to drink, but I couldn't get a part of Kitamura's words out of my mind.

"Wanting people to see her for the kind of person she really is huh? But how long does it for the person to truly see what can of person she is" I thought to myself

I got to the vending machine, and I took out some change and was about to put it in the coin slot to see a hand put a coin before me to reveal It's Kawashima

"Me first! I love it! You guys have vending machines up here" she said making her choice as the drink drops down the tray

"What are you..." I try to ask but she cut me off

"...doing? Simple. Fourth period's about to start and I saw you leaving class. So I got curious, and followed you!" she said as she bend down to take her drink from the machine. I reminded myself of her true nature and not to be nervous.

"I know you're new here, but it's against school rules to buy drinks after lunch." I said to her, but she offered a drink to me

"Really? I guess that means we're partners in crime!" she said with smile as I accept the drink and said.

"Thanks, let me pay you back"

"No, it's OK. I kind of owe you for yesterday." she replied

"Trust when I say this, but you don't owe me" I said

"I was so surprised when I saw you in class. I had no idea I'd be in the same school as you! And Aisaka...Funny I wonder why Yuusaku didn't mention it." she said as I cracked open my drink I motioned to go on

"Um… did Aisaka say anything to you about what happened yesterday?"

"What happened?" I replied

"A misunderstanding. Actually, it was all my fault." she continued

"I know I can be kind of an airhead sometimes, and I think I may have accidentally upset Aisaka. We were just sitting there chatting, and everything was fine until all of a sudden, she accused me of being vain and conceited. And then she…" she stopped her fake story and her grip tightened on drink.

"…Anyway, i just want you to know it's not her fault! I admit I can be socially awkward, and if I wasn't like that it wouldn't have happened. This is what my life's like, though. Sometimes I run into other girls who just… hate me. But I'm used to it now. And it's made me stronger." she finished her story with a smile.

"Wow how long did it take to make up fake explanation about what happened yesterday, and social awkward is one of my traits" I thought to myself

"I'd appreciate it if you didn't mention what happened in the restaurant to anyone else. okay?" she said to me as the fourth period bell rings

"Don't worry, I think I get where you're coming from. But the last bell rung, so we have to get back to class" I said and she gave me a smile.

"Oh, thank you! C'mon, let's hurry!" she grabbed my hand and we started to run down the hall, I managed to see her flash a sly grin on her face, she thinks she has me in the palm of her hand, but she thought wrong.

I think history might be least favorite subject, I almost fell asleep as our history teacher is going on and on but the girl in front of me dropped a note on my desk, i opened to reveal it was from Taiga.

"Why'd you and Ami Kawashima rush into class at the last second together?! -Taiga"

"Nope not dealing with this right now" I muttered as crumpled up the note and it caused to be noticeably angry, while that happened the girl sitting gave me another note and this time it was from Kushieda. I looked over to her and she looked at me and gave a gentle wave and a smile and I waved back and opened the note.

"Saikawa, I'mreallyangry! I know something weird's going on between you and that transfer student! Are you two dating?Are you!? I swear if you leave Taiga alone and it breaks her heart, I'm going to whip your ass!!"-Kushieda

"Your kidding me! Why does it have to be me that has to deal with this, sometimes I wish Ryuuji was the one to deal with this" I muttered while looking at Kawashima for a bit, I had a idea what to write in my note and gave the note to the girl in front of me to give the note to Kushieda.

After a couple of minutes the note got to Kushieda, and opened it and read it.

From Saikawa to Kushieda

Sorry I didn't answer your question, but what do you think about people who refer to themselves as airheads?"

She put the note down and stood up from her desk, which gained attention from the students, she raised her arms and she seemingly made a halo and had smile on her face, then I kid you not, she quickly made her arms into an "X" and her face turned demon like and I'm pretty sure I turned white and I put my head face first on the desk fearing for my life.

The history teacher turned around and asked

" Well, is there anyone who doesn't understand what's going on so far? Hello? What's wrong with you people?" Kushieda went back to seat as if nothing happened and diligently to note and class continued and all I can say is

"This is my life now" I muttered as my face is still on the desk for the rest of class.

I couldn't stick around at the school with Ryuuji and Taiga since I had to take Maple to the vet for her routine checkup, after a couple hours my cat Is in good health and we're able to go home.

After several minutes me and Maple we're back at my apartment I fed her dinner, but I got a text from Ryuuji saying Taiga didn't come for dinner and I should check out her apartment, he was on his way.

I got to her apartment which was not lit at all, I made my way to her bedroom, I turned on the light to see Taiga sitting on her bed, and covering herself with her blankets.

"Why are you here" she muttered to me

"What do think? Come Ryuuji made dinner-" I said as I grabbed the blankets and lift it up to reveal Taiga in very bad shape, her hair is a mess and her eyes were red and puffy from crying alot.

I took a small breath and sat next to her

"Taiga please talk to me, What's wrong" I asked in a gentle tone trying to help her and she continued to sob and said

"She said that……that Kitamura… hates me now… That bitch told him everything. And I- I-"

"It's going to be alright Taiga" I replied trying to comfort her

"It's never gonna be okay!" she sobbed burying her face in knees

"Taiga...Kitamura knows the whole story" I told her which prompted Ryuuji to reveal himself since he heard what Taiga said when he got to Taiga's apartment.

"Saikawa is right, he knows what Kawashima's really like, and whatreallyhappened at the restaurant. He knows she lied. About everything." Ryuuji backed up what I said

"Really?" she said sniffling I gave her a reassuring nod and Ryuuji continued

"Yep. Really. Besides, Kitamura's not the type of guy who's gonna hate you for something stupid like that. I mean, by now you of all people should know that not what he's like."

"But then… how come I'm so teeny and tiny? And why do I have a weird name?" she questioned and when I was going to answer she throws the blankets out the way

"Who cares?! Five feet, five inches? And with a name like Sailor Mercury? Who cares about any of that?!" she exclaimed

And who cares she's been friends with Kitamura for years? Ryuuji said trying to help but what he said made Taiga fall on the bed.

"…Sorry about that. Are you okay? I didn't realize you'd get so bent out of shape over something so-" he tried to apologise but got hit in the face with a pillow by Taiga for his troubles

"Well unlike you,you dog,I'm sensitive!" she yelled

I was gonna say something but the three of us heard crying, and we looked out with to see Yasuko outside on the balcony complaining that we can't have pork cutlets without sauce and as if on cue Taiga's stomach rumbled, Taiga got dressed quickly and three of us left to go to a local convenient store to get sauce for the pork cutlets.

"Hey, we should get pudding too" Taiga shouted

"No, we're only buying sauce!" Ryuuji told her with a stern look on his face, Taiga caught me buying pudding for her and a box of pocky for me and she had a confused look on her face.

"You don't have worry about paying me back it's the least I can do" I said with a smile and she gave me a smile albeit a small one

"You really are weird Ren, but thanks" she said as I gave her a thumbs up, me and her made are way to the tabloid section, Taiga found an issue of a teen magazine, that mostly had pictures of Kawashima, I looked through the magazine with her and we found some text that was intriging.

Ryuuji finished checking out, and walked up to us and Taiga showed the page to him and it shocked him and all he say was

"No way..."

"I wonder why she really stopped modeling" Taiga questioned as we walked down the street heading back to Ryuuji's house.

"Yeah, and why did she pick our school? It's not like it's so cool, it's worth taking time off for." Ryuuji said

"Hey guys look" I told them as the three of us saw what looked to be Kawashima in a yellow jumpsuit and a yellow hat carrying large grocery baga

"The bitch!" Taiga growled and clenched her fists

"So I'm not seeing things, It is her..." Ryuuji replied

"Her attire is very out of character for her, and what's with those bags? They're full of junk food, any idea why? I asked Ryuuji and Taiga.

"Maybe she's hosting a party or something?" Ryuuji suggested

"She's not hosting any party, we just saw something interesting." she said while a smirk spread across her face.

"What an interesting turn of events, I wonder how it'll play out" I thought as a small smile crept on my face
