Hello readers, as always thank you for all of the positive feedback as well as the criticism. It really helps me with my writing. Sorry it has been so long since the last chapter, school has started up for me, so I have a lot less time to write. Anyways, enjoy the chapter.

Chris awoke on a Saturday morning with a yawn. Getting out of bed, he looked at himself in the mirror, wiping away the sand in his eyes. As much as he loved performing with the band, it was taking a toll on him. He was a lot more tired and his throat hurt a little bit. Luckily he learned a while back how to growl and scream without damaging his vocal chords. But it still causes his throat to feel sore from time to time.

Rubbing his eyes, he looked at himself again and smiled. He was happy, he and Luan were going to go on a date today. They were going to meet up and have Lunch at a local restaurant, and then go for a walk together afterwards. He had already bought flowers for her. Chris loved spending time with Luan, she made him feel special. Chris quickly changed into some casual clothes, although he swapped out his usual band t-shirt for a collared shirt to try and look a bit nicer. He walked down the stairs and entered the kitchen. He expected to see Emily having her morning cereal as usual. But to his surprise, he saw Emily eating her cereal, and his father also sitting at the table, a cup of coffee in one hand and a newspaper in the other. He was shocked that his father was home considering how often both of his parents were out..

He saw that a plate of eggs and toast were placed where he usually sat for breakfast, along with a glass of milk. Emily looked up from her cereal and smiled at her brother.

"Mommy had to leave for work, but she made you some breakfast." she said happily

Chris smiled at his sister and sat down in his seat next to his father.

"Had a goodnight sleep son." he asked not looking away from the paper he was reading

"Yeah, I did. Why aren't you at work dad?"

Mr Olsen lowered his newspaper and turned to look at his son smiling.

"Well, I don't have to go into work for a little bit. So I thought I could have breakfast with you and Emily."

Chris couldn't help but smile at his father. He knew that both of his parents were busy often and was glad he was taking some time to spend with him and Emily.

"Thanks dad." Chris said before he started eating

"So, Emily here has told me that you finally got that band that you've been dreaming of together."

Chris swallowed his food before speaking, "Yeah, I met some guys and we've been doing a lot of shows."

"That's a great son."

"That's not the only thing he finally got." Emily said giggling.

Mr Olsen looked at his daughter confused, "Oh, and what else might my son have gotten." he asked before taking a sip of his coffee

Chris signaled for her to stop talking but Emily didn't stop, "Chris is in love." she said

Mr Olsen almost spilled his coffee when he heard what Emily said. Chris blushed and glared at Emily, to which she only giggled. Swallowing the warm substance, Mr Olsen looked at Chris.

"Does my son have a girlfriend?"

Chris was still blushing and scratched the back of her head before speaking. "Her name is Luan, we've been dating for a few weeks."

Chris watched his father set down his mug, Chris was scared for what his father was about to do. But was surprised when he pulled his son into a side hug.

"My baby boy finally became a man." he said jokingly while patting his back.

Chris's face grew even redder and he broke the hug from his father.

"So son, tell me. What is she like?"

"Well, she's in the grade below me, and is a comedian. She does stand up gigs and tells a lot of jokes."

"That's good, maybe she could finally bring some laughter to this empty shell." he said while lightly banging his fist on Chris's chest.

"But seriously son, I am really happy for you. Your mother is going to want to know about this."

"I know, I was going to tell you guys. I just didn't have the right time to tell you."

"It's not a big deal. Now tell me more."

"I go to her stand up gigs and she goes to the music gigs that we do. She actually was the one that got me to join the band which is her younger brother's band. Oh, and her last name is Loud."

Mr Olsen scratched the light stubble on his chin, "Loud, isn't that the family with 11 children. I think I've seen the mother before when I go to the dentist."

"Yeah, her mother works at an orthodontist's office."

Emily decided to speak up after not talking for a while, "Chris is going on a date with her today."

Mr Olsen looked surprised, "You are, well what are you two going to do."

"Just have lunch together and walk through the park."

"Nice, do you have the flowers picked out for her."

"Yep, I've got everything ready."

Mr Olsen patted his son on the back, "That's my boy, alway be prepared."

Chris smiled at his father before he went back to eating. Once his food was done, he put his dishes in the sink.

"I've gotta go do some homework before I meet with Luan."

"Alright, go do that. Oh and son, remember you have your drivers test coming up. Make sure you are prepared."

"I know dad, I will." Chris said before walking towards and back up the stairs to his room.

Scene Change:

It was around 10:00 in the morning at the Loud House. Lincoln was sitting in his room. Practicing the songs for the Halloween event. Halloween was this upcoming Friday, so he was focusing on practicing more than anything. He had mastered many slipknot songs, but a few were difficult for him, like People = Shit and the solo to psychosocial. Lincoln kept his costume tucked away under his bed in a box where no one could see it. He didn't want his family to know about him performing at the Halloween concert. He doesn't think his parents would be very happy about some of the content in Slipknot's songs. As he continued practicing, his door was suddenly opened and in walked his oldest sister Lori.

"Hey twerp, I need you to do me a favor."

"And what would that be?" he asked with a hint of annoyance in his voice considering she called him twerp.

"Bobby's sister got sick and she's not feeling well. Bobby was gonna take care of her for the day, but he got a call from his boss and needed to come into work. I need you to be at his house and make sure his sister is okay."

Lincoln looked at her surprised, he didn't know that Bobby had a sister. "Let me get this straight, you want me to go to Bobby's house and take care of a person that I have never met before."

"It would only be for a few hours, and Bobby said he would be back around 1:00. She will probably be sleeping most of the time. You can even bring your guitar."

Lincoln thought about the offer for a little while before making a decision. "Sure, I'll help out."

"Thanks, I owe you a trip to the comic book store. Now come on, let's go."

Lincoln put his Jazzmaster in his guitar bag and slung it over his shoulder. The two Loud children walked outside to Vanzilla and got in, Lori started the car and the two drove off.

It took around 10 min before Lori stopped outside Bobby's house. Lincoln had seen it before many times, but had never gone in it. Lincoln got out of the vans and started walking to the front door.

"Don't mess this up or I swear I will turn you into a human pretzel." Lori shouted from the driver's seat.

"I know." Lincoln said before she drove off

Lincoln knocked on the door a few times and waited. After a few seconds, he heard footsteps approaching and the door opened. Standing there was none other than Bobby Santiago, already dressed in his work uniform.

"Bro, thank you so much for doing this. Nini is sleeping right now, I left some food in the fridge if you get hungry. Feel free to watch some tv." He said before dashing out of the house and onto the sidewalk.

"No problem." Lincoln yelled towards the running Bobby

Turning around, Lincoln stepped into the house and took in his surroundings. The Santiago house was a rather average house. There was the kitchen and living room as well as a hallways that had a few doors. All of the doors were open except one. Lincoln guessed that this was Bobby's sister's room.

Lincoln checked his watch, "Alright it's 10:30 and I'm here until 1. I guess I should get started on practicing." He thought to himself.

Plopping himself down on the couch in the living room, he unzipped the guitar bag and pulled out his guitar. Lincoln started practicing all the songs that were on the setlist. He didn't know how much time had passed. But when he looked up at the clock, he realized it had already been a half hour since he got here. Realizing that his throat was dry, he decided to go get a glass of water from the kitchen. Filling a glass with ice, he went to get some water from the fridge. But when he just started adding water. He heard a door open and a voice.

"Bobby, do you know where I could get more blankets?" A voice said out loud which caused Lincoln to stop. That voice sounded all too familiar to him, and he was really hoping it wasn't who he thought it was.

He heard the footsteps moving and Lincoln decided that he needed to see if it was who he thought it was. He walked out of the kitchen and stopped dead in his track when he saw who it was.

Standing in the hallway was none other than Ronnie Anne Santiago. She was in her pajamas with her hair unkept and had a blanket over herself. Once she realized who was standing there, she stopped. Both kids just stared at each other, wide eyed at what they were seeing.

"Lincoln Loud, what the hell are you doing in my house."

Lincoln snapped out of his confusion and said, "I'm doing a favor for my sister Lori, Bobby needed me to stay at his house and take care of his sister while he was at work for a few hours. Wait a minute, are you Bobby's sister."

"Yep, and I'm guessing your Loris brother."

Lincoln simply nodded his head

Ronnie Anne scoffed, "Well, for your information Lame-O. I can take care of myself."

Lincoln shrugged, "If you say so. But if you need anything. I'll be in the living room." he said before Ronnie Anne walked back into her room and slammed the door.

Lincoln sighed and walked back to the living room. He started to watch some cartoons, after about 15 min. He heard a fit of coughing coming from Ronnie Annes room. Lincoln wanted to ignore it considering how rude she was to him. But his heart was telling him to do the right thing. Getting up from the couch, he went to the kitchen and searched through the cupboards to see what he was looking for. He finally found a jar of honey. Grabbing the jar and a spoon he walked to Ronnie Annes room and knocked on the door lightly.

"What is it Lame-O" she said from behind the door in a raspy voice

"I heard you were coughing, I have some honey that will help." He said from the other side

"I'm fine, just a little cou-" her speaking was interrupted when she started coughing again. After a little bit, she stopped and spoke again. "Alright come on in."

Lincoln turned the knob and entered Ronnie Annes room, he stopped to take in everything around him. Her room was definitely something a tomboy would have. Posters aligned the walls with famous skaters and sports companies, and on the floor was a bunch of skater equipment. Ronnie Anne was laying in her bed, with multiple blankets on top of her.

"Nice room," he said before approaching her bedside.

Opening the jar, he dipped the spoon in the jar and took out a good amount of honey.

"Can you sit up." he asked

Ronnie Anne sat up from her bed, not saying anything.

He handed her the spoon and she put the honey in her mouth. A look of sweetness appeared on her face as she tasted the honey. Swallowing the honey, he made another spoonful and handed it to her to which she again ate it.

"Feeling better?" he asked

Ronnie Anne blushed, "Yeah, thanks. My throat feels better."

Lincoln smiled at her and started to walk out of the room.

"Wait." Lincoln stopped, turning around to see what Ronnie Anne wanted

"Can you get me some more blankets." They should be in a cupboard in the hall.

Lincoln, not saying a word, went to the hall and found the cupboard. Pulling out a few blankets, he went back to her room and applied them on to her. Ronnie's face was almost completely red when Lincoln was doing it. Lincoln finished up applying the blanket.

"Thanks." she said

Lincoln just smiled at her. Even though she caused him so much pain, she was not feeling well. He should help her, it was the right thing to do. Lincoln walked back into the living room and continued watching tv. One of the channels was having an Ace Savvy marathon, so Lincoln decided to watch it. He watched it for a while until he heard footsteps approaching the room. Turning, he saw Ronnie Anne standing there, blanket draped over herself.

"Couldn't sleep." he asked

Ronnie Anne nodded her head.

"Well you wanna just watch some cartoons with me for a bit."

"Sure." She stated simply and layed down on the other side of the couch.

They just sat there in silence for a while. The only sound being the tv. Lincoln looked at Ronnie Anne and noticed she was looking at his guitar that was resting on the side of the coffee table. Lincoln decided to say something.

"I need to practice." he said

"I didn't know you played guitar." she said

"Yeah, it's fun." he said shrugging.

"Can you play me something."

Lincoln stopped when she said that. He started to get stressed.

"Well um, you see I would. But it's electric, so it's not going to sound good without an amp." he said stuttering.

Ronnie Anne looked at Lincoln and smirked, "Nice try Lame-O, Bobby's got an amp in his room for when he played guitar back in middle school. Go get it."

Realizing he wasn't getting out of this, he sighed. He got up from the couch and walked towards Bobby's room which he was able to identify by the Amp sitting in the corner. It wasn't super heavy, so he was able to easily carry it into the living room, he plugged in the amp and his guitar and did a few chords. Adjusting the sound and tuning while also muting the tv.

"What do you want me to play." he asked

"Doesn't really matter to me, just not something heavy. Something more calm."

Lincoln thought about it for a second before deciding on a song. Tuning his guitar. He got ready and started playing the first few notes from under the bridge by RHCP. After a little bit he started singing.

Sometimes I feel like I don't have a partner

Sometimes I feel like my only friend

Is the city I live in, the city of angels

Lonely as I am, together we cry

I drive on her streets 'cause she's my companion

I walk through her hills 'cause she knows who I am

She sees my good deeds and she kisses me windy

Well, I never worry, now that is a lie

I don't ever wanna feel

Like I did that day

Take me to the place I love

Take me all the way

I don't ever wanna feel

Like I did that day

Take me to the place I love

Take me all the way

Yeah, yeah, yeah

It's hard to believe that there's nobody out there

It's hard to believe that I'm all alone

At least I have her love, the city, she loves me

Lonely as I am, together we cry

I don't ever wanna feel

Like I did that day

Take me to the place I love

Take me all the way

I don't ever wanna feel

Like I did that day

Take me to the place I love

Take me all the way

Yeah, yeah, yeah

Oh, no, no-no, yeah, yeah

Love me, I say, yeah yeah

One time

Is where I drew some blood

(Under the bridge downtown)

I could not get enough

(Under the bridge downtown)

Forgot about my love

(Under the bridge downtown)

I gave my life away

Yeah, yeah

Oh, no, no-no-no, yeah, yeah

Oh, no, I said, oh, yeah, yeah

Where I stay

Lincoln finished the last few chords and stopped playing. Ronnie Anne looked at his with complete surprise.

"Wow Lincoln, that was really good."

Lincoln blushed, "Thanks."

Ronnie Anne started blushing as well and the two just sat for a little while in silence.

"Can you play me some other songs." she asked

"S-sure." he stuttered out.

For the next hour, Lincoln played and sang many songs for Ronnie Anne. He sang some songs by Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and a few other bands. After a while Ronnie Anne actually ended up dozing off and falling asleep on the couch. Lincoln smiled at her and adjusted the blanket over her. Before he knew it, 1:00 rolled around and Bobby came home.

"Hey bro, how was it. Was Nini annoying?"

Lincoln shook his head, "Nah she was fine."

"Great. Again bro, thanks I owe you one."

The two boys gave each other a fistbump and Lincoln headed out the door, a guitar bag slung over his shoulder. He got a message from Lori that said she was busy and he needed to walk home. It wasn't a long walk, but it still agitated him.

He decided to start walking, he plugged in his headphones and started listening to some metal music. He decided to walk through the park on his way back home. The song Dead Skin Mask by Slayer playing into his ears. There were a lot of families that he saw as he walked through the park. He saw some parents watching their kids play, some teenagers playing frisbee. But what stood out to him the most was a young couple kissing on a bench. They looked oddly familiar, as he got closer. He realized who they were. It was Chris and Luan, Luan had her hair down and Chris was playing with it as they kissed. He got closer to a point where he was right near them and cleared his throat. The two teenagers broke apart and they both were surprised seeing who it was.

Lincoln just stared at them grinning, and walked past them and continued walking. Leaving behind Chris and Luan, both seriously blushing.

Scene Change:

Lincoln just sat in his room, deciding to read some comic books in his underwear. It had been a little while since he had done it and enjoyed hopping back into the stories of Ace and One eyed Jack. He continued reading until his door opened and Luan walked in. She looked at him a bit shy.

"Hey Linc." she said

"Hey Luan, wanna talk about what I saw." he said nonchalantly

Luan sighed, "Please don't tell the others, I don't want this to become a big deal."

Lincoln lowered his comic to look at his sister and smiled. "Your secret is safe with me, and I'm happy for you. Just don't steal Chris from us, we need our singer."

Luan laughed at what he said, "I can't guarantee that." she said jokingly

Here ends the chapter, next chapter. Halloween is finally happening
