A boy was standing in front of Natsumi who pretended to be sleeping. It was apparent that he was staring at her cleavage. She knew it would be tactless to let him know that she was aware of his stealthily peeping, but she couldn't resist to tease the young man. She stretched her arms yawning,
'I slept enough to wake up and make coffee...where are you looking at?'
The boy's face turned red like a tomato, 'I ...eh...am sorry. Well...eh...I came here to find a job. I'll do anything for your company. Is this ...the office?'
Natsumi grinned, 'Your boss is still sleeping. Won't you drink coffee?' She stood up from a dingy sofa and went to a counter to set an electric kettle.
'Where is he?'
Natsumi didn't answer. She seemed to be immersed in finding instant coffee powder.
Hodaka left there and went out of the barroom. He hesitated before he opened the door next to the restroom.
'Wake up Kei-chan. Where did he hide coffee? I can't find it. I need to ask him.'
Hodaka was unsettled by her words. Staring at the name on the business card, he wondered if she was Keisuke Suga's mistress.
Natsumi shouted from behind, 'Kei-chan, your guest arrived. Did you use coffee powder yesterday?'
When she passed by Hodaka, something flowery smelled. Then he heard a low voice from inside. She opened the door vigorously.
'My guest? Who?' Suga sat up on the futon in the state of his hair dishevelled. He stood still wearing his pajamas and his eyes tried to focus on Hodaka. 'You...came finally, runaway boy.'
Natsumi observed Hodaka. She found something similar to her situation in him. He must have troubles with his family just like her.
Hodaka did anything to survive. He hesitated to clean the toilet in front of him first, then Natsumi told him how to finish the task. He could get along with it at the end of the week doing dishes or putting things away in Suga's bed room including his laundries.
After a week, Suga let him go collecting data on the sunny woman with Natsumi. The deadline for the write-up was coming.
Natsumi was surprised by the fact that her uncle hadn't paid Hodaka at all. Suga's claim was that Hodaka didn't need to pay for living with him. On their way to the location where the source of information about the sunny woman would be expected, she said to Hodaka,
'I'll persuade Keichan to pay you sooner.' They got off her motorbike.
Hodaka was mesmerized by her long hair waving in the wind after she put off her helmet.
'Let's go.' They entered the department store.
On the sixth floor, they found a corner where an old man told fortune to a young woman by palm reading.
'Really? Am I a Sunny Woman?' The woman looked happy. 'I thought so. Wherever I went, it was sunny, always!'
'Yes, you are. But be careful. When you use the power, you'll be closer to the heaven.'
