Chapter 18: (30 Weeks)
The knock on the door was loud enough for Usagi to hear it from the living room over the loud noises of the popular drama show she was watching. She grinned, singing along with Minako's songs while walking to the front door, being very careful to not fall or slip over. She opened the door, revealing a man with long black hair, which was tied back into a ponytail at the back of his neck.
Seiya Kou.
"Hi" he greets her, still standing at the door. Usagi smiles, holding out her hand and letting him shake it.
"Come in" she says as she opens the door, watching him walk inside. He follows her to the kitchen, watching her turn off the tv. "Seiya, right?" she asks him as she turns to face him. He nods.
"Yes, I'm Seiya. You're Usagi Tsukino?" he asks her. she noticed it sounded like a statement, so she shook her head, watching his face morph into confusion
"Usagi Chiba" She corrects him, studying his facial expressions. "Are we going to work on lyric's today?" she asks him.
"Of course." He asks her, his eyes accidentally flying down to her abdomen. "I notice you're, uhh… Pregnant?" he asks her. her face is calm, a small smile spreading on her face as she rubs her stomach tenderly.
"Yeah…I'm around thirty weeks by now. She's our little miracle baby" she says, a light disappearing from her eyes slowly.
"Congratulations" he says his eyes starting to wonder around the living room, finding the wedding pictures framed up on the wall. "Is that the father" he questions her. she nods.
"Yeah, that's her father, and my husband" she sighs, and he watches a frown slowly creep up to her lips.
"What's happened?" he asks her, she notes his voice was coated in concern and curiosity. She frowns at it. "Is he like…abusive or something? Using you?"
Her eyes shoot up. "NO" she says, too loudly for her liking as well as her unborn daughter, who kicks in response. "No. He's wonderful. I just miss him. That's all" she sighs her fingers caressing her stomach.
"Oh ok" he says. He attempts to keep to himself that he knew it was a long running relationship since she was fourteen, but he struggles. "So, how long have you two been together? Two, three years?" he guesses. She shakes her head, a small blush creeping up to her cheeks and a smile slapping itself slowly onto her lips.
"No. Much, much longer" she says. "Since I was Fourteen, we've been together" she sighs.
"That's a long commitment" he states.
"Yeah" she sighs. "He's loved me since the dawn of time I think anyway. I don't think he could be happier. He's finally in a family, and we're about to start one" she smiles slightly.
"What do you mean by he's finally in a family? What about his parents?" he asks her.
"They died a while ago" she states in a matter-of-fact tone. "It's not my place to say anyway" she mumbles. "Do you want to get started in the lyrics?" she asks him. He nods, pulling out his own notebook and writing down ideas for them.

Mamoru unlocked the garage door of the house quietly, closing it gently behind him as he took off his shoes. He walks inside, placing his dishes on the kitchen counter, frowning to himself to find no dishes. He walks into the bedroom, stripping off his clothes and taking a shower, immediately throwing on new ones once he was dry.
He sighed, walking down into the lounge room, finding a blonde-haired mess on the couch, lying on her side with her hands covering her stomach. He smiles at her, kneeling down to her level and brushing her loose strands of hair out of her face before placing his hand on top of hers.
He felt a thump inside, along with multiple ripples from other spots. He heard her groan slightly, and he immediately took his hands off her. He watched her sleep peacefully after that, before deciding to make an American style dinner. He constructed a burger each for himself and his wife, placing only the things he thought she would like. Mamoru looked up once he was done, spotting his wife sleepily walking over to him, falling into his arms in an embrace. He smiled at her, kissing her forehead gently. "Have you eaten today?" he asks her. she shakes her head, a frown appearing on her lips.
"No" she says. "I fell asleep before lunch" she admits. He smiles, handing her the burger on the plate before directing her to the table where they ate in silence. He looked at her once she was done, taking her plate, and placing it in the sink.
"So, you forgot to eat lunch and breakfast today?" he asks her, resuming the conversation that was before dinner. Her cheeks turned red from embarrassment, but she watched him smile. "Making you remember things before was hard enough, now it's going to be even tougher with that Baby brain of yours" he comments, a smirk slapping itself against his face.
She huffs, storming up the stairs and slamming their bedroom door on her way inside. He sighs, filling up the sink and resuming the dishes, mentally slapping himself for being stupidly insensitive towards his wife. He sighed as he walked upstairs quietly, opening the door to find Usagi laying in bed. He leaves her be, walking towards the wardrobe, pulling out a pair of bed pants to replace his regular ones he was wearing, and stripping off his shirt entirely. He got onto bed behind her, pulling her to his side. "I'm so sorry Usako" he whispers against her neck. "I don't know why I was so insensitive, and I hope you'll forgive me."
"Of course, I forgive you." Usagi says, a sigh escaping her lips. "You were right of course. But still, I shouldn't have reacted like that"
"Usako-"
"No, Mamo-Chan" she cuts him off. "None of that now" she whispers.
"Usako…can I ask you a question?" he asks her. She attempts to turn to face him, struggling to move due to her abdomen. With a huff, she flops to face him.
"Sure. What's up?"
"I was wondering…" he starts.
"Yes?" Usagi prompts, placing a hand on his hip.
"If after this one" he taps her stomach to indicate what he meant. "We could, try for another. After a while of course" he blushes, embarrassed by his own question. He watches her face morph into happiness.
"Really?" she asks him, her hand sliding up his side to his neck.
"Yeah"
"Of course. Can we wait, two years maybe?" she asks him, and he nods. "Thank you Mamo-chan" she whispers again, closing her eyes and falling into a peaceful sleep.
