"Last time on Total Drama Island! Our contestants were sent into a childhood challenge everyone has played at least once, whether they were ready or not! Our contestants hid in the trees, under the water, and in not so clever places like in Chef's kitchen. Seriously Heather, what were you thinking? In the end Zoey Bear-ly missed out on immunity while Marilyn, Jasmine, and Scott found the immunity they were looking for. In a brief vote, the island's new crazy redhead quickly left the island she called home for the past couple of weeks. Nine contestants remain but that will soon go down to eight. Who will be eliminated next? Find out on this episode of TOTAL! DRAMA! ISLAND!
As Scott and Heather stood in Chef's line they exchanged a few passing words with each other to ensure their plan was still in motion.
"Still Ryan right?" Heather asked.
"Yeah, Duncan should be on board. And Jasmine and Marilyn are in as well," Scott replied.
"I'll make sure Leshawna is in the know as well."
"Perfect. Everything should go off without a hitch."
"Well, what if Ryan wins immunity?"
"He won't. Marilyn or Jasmine will probably win and we just vote him out. It's not like he's been that great in the challenges so far."
"It's also not like he can't win."
"Well we still have the option of just picking off Marilyn or Jasmine as well."
"True. We can always go after him again at final seven as well if it doesn't work."
"Right."
Confessional, Heather
Scott fancies himself this master strategist. But really he's kind of… eh. Like why do we not have a back up plan if Ryan wins immunity. It's not like he can't. He's not a challenge beast but he's far from a slouch. I mean we can always pick off the two girls, but why did he not suggest Trent? Like he's Ryan's right hand man. For a 'master strategist' he sure seems to have a lack of backup plans.
Confessional, Scott
Heather is probably yapping about why Trent isn't the backup plan. The main reason is I think I'd have a shot to beat him in the end. He's probably as good of a player as everyone here. But he's perceived as Ryan's undelring. And perception is reality in this game.
Marilyn and Jasmine sat by themselves at the far side Mess Hall table talking,
"You know Jasmine we could just tell Ryan what their plan is," Marilyn mused.
"We could. But is that for the best?" Jasmine inquired.
"It'd put us right in the middle."
"Or right back on the chopping block."
"I mean yeah I guess. But I doubt Ryan will want to confront Scott about it."
"But there's no guarantee that he doesn't just go to Scott and get us voted out."
"Then do we have no other choice, but to go with Scott?"
"Well no, we could go to Ryan last minute and vote Scott out."
"True. And I think there's a better chance we get far with that trio rather than that four as well."
"I think we should just play it by ear for the time being mate."
Confessional, Marilyn
Jasmine and I mesh well as partners. She's more cautious where I'm more bold. As much as I hate it I know she's right. We need to be cautious with what we do. Because no one knows we're the swing votes, but once we reveal our position we may just go right back to the bottom of the totem pole.
Confessional, Jasmine
Marilyn and I sit in a precarious position. For the first time in a long time I hold some power in this game. In an ideal world we kick Ryan out and Marilyn and I break apart that group of four. However there is some credence into telling Ryan he's the target and voting out Scott. I do think there's a better chance one of that trio flips to us rather than the other four. It's just a matter of what's good for both my short and long term game.
Trent and Ryan lounged around the cabin as they prepared for the daily challenge.
"I'm nervous, Trent. I keep getting this feeling that someone is trying to pull one over on us," Ryan stated to his friend.
"Why's that? We got Jackson and Zoey out with little issue. What's stopping us from getting the rest of the girls out?" Trent mused.
"I don't know. But the saying in Survivor is if you're too comfortable it's you. And I feel like I'm too comfortable right now. Like why is Scott sneaking around the island? Why were Jasmine and Marilyn so willing to let Zoey go? It makes no sense to me."
"I think you're just being overly paranoid. Scott has always been sneaky, and everyone was just done with Zoey's recklessness."
"Fair. But maybe we should just go for Leshawna or someone now and make sure Scott and Duncan can screw us."
"Don't let your paranoia drive you. Let's just get to seven and go from there alright?"
"Alright man. But I think something's up."
Confessional, Ryan
I'm probably being over paranoid like Trent said. But I just can't help but think Scott is trying to turn this onto me. Like it should be straightforward to the final five with the guys alliance. So why does he need to sneak off with all of these people?
Confessional, Trent
I get where Ryan is coming from. Especially after some of the blindsides we've pulled like with Sammy. He doesn't want to let that happen to him. I pray I'm right and he is overly paranoid. But I could be wrong.
Confessional, Bear
(no dialogue is heard as the bear does its functions reading a piece of paper. Suddenly…)
Dakota: Come on, you know that only one person a day is supposed to use it! Otherwise it becomes too rank for everyone!
(The bear growls and swings the door open, leaving behind a newspaper talking about a breakout from a mental asylum on the seat. Dakota walks in and hangs up an air freshener before screaming away)
Confessional, Duncan
(He opens his mouth to speak before he passes out from the smell and the air freshener falls on him)
"Welcome to today's challenge campers. You'll be constructing your very own bicycles today with whatever material you can find in this area. There will be two rounds, and the ultimate winner will win individual immunity and a spot into the final eight. Along with that the ultimate loser will be gifted a major punishment. And the best built bike will be gifted a tiny toy tricycle as a reward as well!"
"What's the punishment?" Brick asked.
"You'll find out," Chris replied. "Alright. Three. Two. One. Get to building, you have one hour!"
There was a mad scramble for different assortments of parts. Duncan had managed to corner a whole engine while Trent had grabbed an assortment of tires, spokes, and bike chains. Others like Heather were waiting for the Black Friday level fighting to stop before hunting for her materials.
Confessional, Heather
It's called working smarter not harder. I'll let all the boys clobber their heads in looking for "the perfect part" and I'll just swoop in and grab whatever I need.
"You ever built a bike before music man?" Duncan asked Trent.
"I've ridden them, but no I can't say I've built a bike yet," Trent replied.
"I think this will be a new experience for most of us," Brick added, dropping his assortment of tools near the two boys.
"Well aside from me," Duncan chuckled. "My brother and I would take stolen parts and build motorbikes out of them to either sell or use for ourselves. I guess that finally came in handy."
Confessional, Trent
Duncan is scary. Not in a horror movie way. But he's so crafty physically and mentally. He could so easily win this game. Hopefully that won't happen.
"You really never forget your first bike," Duncan continued.
"Yeah, I crashed and hurt myself so bad. I was so scared about getting back on one for a while," Ryan chuckled.
"Wimp, I scraped up my face good but that didn't scare me," Duncan taunted.
"I didn't scrape my face but I really banged up my knee and hands my first time," Trent added.
"I crashed so many times on my bike, but that never bothered me," Brick chuckled.
Confessional, Scott
Do these guys have a death wish? Like why are they happy to crash? I've been dropped into a piranha tank, landed on my head after hanging from a tree, and had skunk juice spilled over me. I've been absolutely humiliated out here and I hate it. Yet these clowns love it. UGH!
"Do you girls have any experience building?" Leshawna asked Marilyn and Jasmine.
"I've built a fair few things in Australia, but I haven't had to build a moving machine," Jasmine replied.
"I've never built anything, but it can't be that much harder than anything we've already done here," Marilyn added.
"I mean there's a difference between doing some physically taxing challenge, and building something you have absolutely no knowledge in," Leshawna mused.
"True. Wait, where's Heather? The guys are all over there, and we're here…" Jasmine noticed.
Heather was scrounging around in a shed nearby where they started on the beach looking for a chain for her bike. "Ugh why is this place so musty," Heather complained to herself. As she continued walking her foot went straight through a floorboard causing her to fall down on the dusty floor.
Confessional, Heather
You'd think for a major production reality show they'd have a safer film set. But no, Chris just has to make our lives even tougher.
Forty Five Minutes Later
"ALRIGHT TIME'S UP!" Chris shouted through his megaphone. "Let's see what you guys have built."
Leshawna had managed a relatively simple looking motorbike from the skeleton of a recumbent. "Pretty boring, where's the pizazz? Where's the decor?"
"I ain't never built a bike fool," Leshawna griped. "Don't I get at least points for having two modes of transportation?" Leshawna gestured to her bike.
Chris gave a bemused shrug and held up two thumbs. "Moving on! Trent, looks like you've had some experience in the bike game. As do you Duncan!"
Duncan sported a rather lethal looking bike with a skull at the front and what looked to be a flamethrower at the back. Even with the sharp handles and the hastily cobbled frame from oars and hockey sticks, it looked functional, and Chris whistled admirably. Next to him Trent had a bit of rust on his chain, but his bike was similarly well made with a sturdy metal frame and big blue wheels. In between the spokes were the nines of clubs, spades, hearts, and diamonds evenly spaced out.
"Heather...unlike yourself this is an ugly mess," Chris said bluntly.
The queen bee painted her bike with a messy yellow color scheme. She put on dainty white wings with a pointed black spike on the back. "It's the queen bee, don't dock it until you ride it," she snorted with her arms crossed.
Moving onto Marilyn, Chris noticed that the tomboy shockingly went for a unicorn inspired design. Marilyn stood proudly next to her design before she added a green streamer to the horse head at the front. "Quirky," Chris could only respond.
"Thank you!" Marilyn beamed.
"Wasn't exactly a compliment but sure!" Chris flashed his award winning smile as Marilyn stuck up an obscene gesture.
Jasmine was next and Chris nodded his head, impressed at the sleek wooden design. "A bit boring, but practical. I like what you did with the paint and the sparklers." Another pan over the bike revealed that the seat was covered in the colors of the Australian flag.
Ryan had somehow lucked out and managed a decent build with leather pedals, a firm seat, and an- "Umm, where did you get that?" Chris asked.
"I found it in the junk pile. I have no idea what it could have been used for," Ryan bluntly replied.
Chris called Dakota and several other interns over as they looked over Ryan's bike. "Where did we get the trash from again?" he asked.
"One of Daddy's motels. Why do you-oh," Dakota balked as she looked at the piece of plastic currently acting as a bike rest. "We're gonna get fined if we use it in the race."
"Ryan...you do know what that is right?"
Ryan looked over his bike and shook his head. "I don't see what you're talking about."
The other campers looked over the bike. Brick's eyes widened as Duncan burst into laughter. "Oh you poor fool," Leshawna consoled. She leaned over to Ryan and whispered something as his eyes became as wide as dinner plates.
Confessional, Heather
Maybe Ryan doesn't have as much game as I thought. Or maybe he's not used to dealing with something that big.
The offending prop cast aside Chris took a cursory glance over Brick's bike. It was alright, though he did comment on the choice of the brick as a seat. "Is that gonna cause any problems?" Brick asked.
"We'll just have to find out," Chris ominously noted.
He walked up to Scott's bike with his nose pinched. Scott had somehow gotten oil all over him and his bike looked all the worse for wear. "Can you even sit on it?" he asked.
"I'm used to a little discomfort. It can move," Scott held his hands up.
"Well you may be used to a little discomfort, but would one of your fellow campers?"
"Why does that matter?" Scott asked.
"Because this is actually a three round challenge! All of you made a vaguely bike shaped thing so you all move on. The second part is the first of two races through a track full of pain and torture in this EXTREME BIKE CHALLENGE! First we're gonna have you draw names out of the hat. You now have to take that bike across the full loop of the island!"
The contestants groaned as Chef took off his hat and used it to store names. Ryan pulled out Heather's Queen bee while his own bike was claimed by Scott. Trent and Jasmine wound up swapping bikes with each other. Duncan groaned as he gave his bike to Marilyn and winced as he received Brick's bike. Heather claimed Leshawna's recumbent while Leshawna got Scott's stinky modern art sculpture. Once Brick was situated on Marilyn's bike the campers lined up at the start.
"This first course will take you through the beach. Be careful because there are traps all around this beach! If you don't finish then you lose your chance at immunity and risk going home. Now, on your marks, get set-"
Scott's modern art sculpture collapsed under Leshawna's weight. "Did you even put any screws on this thing?" Leshawna shouted, rubbing her now sore backside.
"You don't need that! You need spit, grit, and a whole lotta-"
"Shut up!" Marilyn barked.
Confessional, Scott
I was gonna say tolerance for bullshit don't look at me.
"Well Leshawna you're out of this race for now but stick around," Chris explained. "On your marks, get set, go!"
The other campers rushed through the starting line with startling ferocity, obscuring Chris, Chef, and Leshawna in a crowd of sand.
A quick look overhead showed that by far the furthest in the lead were Jasmine and Trent, who had both built rather decent rides. Both racers turned the first corner over several cones in a messy slalom. Just behind them Duncan and Marilyn were struggling through the sand. Behind them were Ryan, Brick, Heather, and Scott. The quartet in the back were going fast enough to maintain their balance but it was clear they kept their wits about them.
Another quick cut ahead showed that Duncan and Marilyn were struggling through the slalom now. Duncan had somehow gotten in front of Marilyn and stopped directly in front of her. "MOVE!" Marilyn shouted.
"I can't! My bike is stuck!"
"You mean my bike?"
"Yeah what gives? Your bike chain sucks!" Duncan retorted.
"You don't have the touch it needs!" Marilyn pushed Duncan to the side and continued on her way.
Duncan collapsed on the sand and the bike crumbled in his hands. "I guess I'm done here," Duncan shrugged. He began his leisurely fifteen minute walk to the starting line where he waited with Leshawna. The two of them immediately began to play a game of hangman.
Another turn later Trent and Jasmine had both made it to yet another part of the track where it turned in on itself. Jasmine pumped her legs and made it through the loop, turning crazily and almost colliding into Trent where the track met itself. Trent caught his breath as Jasmine sped out of sight. Trent kicked the side of Jasmine's bike and recoiled when a bit of propane leaked out. "Good thing I'm not wearing metal," he sighed in relief.
Ryan had split off from the quartet in the back when they all got to the slalom. As he made the final turn Heather's handles went off the bike and he fell to the ground with a grunt. He kicked the wreckage of the bike as he walked back. "Dickwad!" Heather called as she rode by. Ryan could only stick his middle finger up in response.
Further ahead Marilyn reached the loop and increased her speed through the rest of the bike course. She soon had Trent in her sights as she grit her teeth and increased her pedaling speed. "It's game time," Marilyn leered as she planted her feet down. Putting her feet back on the pedals she started off only to hit a rock and go tumbling. "Dangit," she mumbled.
Confessional, Marilyn
Let's pretend that didn't happen.
Credit where credit was due, Scott and Brick had made it through the slalom with little problems. The two increased their pace as they reached another straightaway before reaching the loop. Scott, barely edging out Brick for the lead, hardly noticed as Brick reared his bike and began to pedal faster. So fast was Brick that he shot over the loop and landed off in the sand. "Where'd your bike go?" Scott taunted.
Brick looked around for his bike fruitlessly. Another camera showed a tear dropping from the unicorn head as it sank into the lakes of wawanakwa, claimed by the dark blue within, soon to be home to organisms unfathomable. Brick continued searching for the bike before an intern slowly guided him off premises.
Confessional, Brick
Neon Fluttershy of Transport, I salute you for all your service.
Trent and Jasmine finished the last leg of the bike race jumping over pits with the help of massive ramps. Trent pedaled as fast as he could but he was no match for Jasmine's sheer power. The tall girl passed the finish line with a loud whoop just as Trent made it past. "Good on ya mate," Jasmine smiled, giving the smaller musician a high five.
"Guillotine," Leshwana guessed.
"Another one for you Leshawna," Duncan smiled. "Didn't think you knew all that much about executions."
"I wanted to be a prison guard growing up. I still kinda do. Here, a couple more rounds."
Further in the back, Scott was cruising along the sand at a leisurely pace. While he rode close to the lake a shark popped out of the water, prompting the redneck to speed up, almost stumbling over a stick on the beach. "That's a nice stick, I like it," Scott mentioned before he pedaled off.
Elsewhere Marilyn reared up behind a rather large ramp over an equally large pit. She took a deep breath before pedalling as fast as her feet could take her. She fiddled with her handles and swerved to avoid a rather broken floorboard. As she did she fell face first onto the sand. "Nice," Marilyn remarked at her faceprint. "But I guess I'm gonna move on.
"Did you guys see Scott and Marilyn fail back there?" Leshawna drew another gallow in the sand with the subject electronics.
"Marilyn and Scott for all we know are still riding, and I guess a G." Ryan sat with Leshawna, Duncan, Trent, Jasmine as they waited for the others. Leshawna drew a head and play passed from Ryan to Trent.
"Dang girl still has my bike," Leshawna griped. "Trent it's your turn."
"Give me a T," Trent suggested. "She has your bike doesn't she?" Leshawna added a stick bodyl
"She must be treating it better than you treated Scott," Duncan snarked. "How about an L?"
"Ain't my fault redneck engineering didn't hold up." Leshawna drew an L on the sand. "Okay Jasmine your-"
Unfortunately for the campers their new match ended abruptly when a certain alpha queen tripped over the bunch of them. "Playing hangman?" Heather asked from the ground. "Can I guess A?"
Confessional, Leshawna
Gotta give it to Heather. She has a good read on the situation. Didn't expect her to guess Laserdisc so quickly.
Marilyn soon crossed the finish line and sat with the others. "Just waiting on Scott?" Marilyn asked.
"Don't have to wait longer," Scott said as he dragged Leshawna's bike behind him. "Winnebago."
"And that's that!" Chris announced. "Looks like Duncan, Brick, Leshawna, and Ryan didn't make it past the finish line."
"Hah!" Marilyn cackled.
"That's not fair!" Ryan shouted. "I made a bike only so Heather could make it onto the second round?"
"That's just the luck of the cards Ryan I'm sorry but I didn't know," Heather half-mocked.
"SHUSH!" Chris held a hand up to Heather. "If you would just let me finish! The people who move on will be the original owners of the bike! So that means Jasmine, Duncan, Leshawna, Trent, and last but certainly least Ryan, you guys will be moving on!"
"I call shenanigans!" Marilyn whined. "You don't give gold medals to the companies who sponsor the athletes!"
"Yeah but when the company is running the show-Visit your new dirt bike track at the nearest available Milton hotel- you can bend a couple of rules. And I still produce this and I'm getting paid so hah!" Chris stuck his tongue out.
"Chris, your perfume is smelling more and more like a steer every day," Heather passed Chris by.
"That's just the luck of the cards Heather. I'm sorry but I didn't know," Ryan mocked.
Confessional, Heather
Is that what my insults sound like? Dang, they sound harsh. I like it.
The five remaining campers lined up in a row on their bikes. Trent smirked at Ryan, Ryan leered at Jasmine, Jasmine held a thumbs up to Leshawna, Leshawna nodded to Duncan, Duncan looked to his right and snapped his fingers. "I don't get to do a cool gesture?" he bemoaned.
"You're on the end, just throw it back white boy," Leshawna rolled her eyes. Duncan stepped off his bike and shook his butt towards Leshawna. "Oh it's on white boy!"
Confessional, Duncan
She did say throw it back right?
"Start your engines!" Chris called from one end of the starting line. "Ready, set, go!"
The five campers darted off and kicked up a cloud of sand that obscured Chris. Most of the initial part of the course remained the same. Trent seemed to pull out a quick lead while they made the first turn, kicking up sand as they skirted the rushing waves of lake Wawanakwa, getting rather noteworthy trailer shots at that point. Ryan and Duncan seemed neck and neck as they soon followed Trent around the bend.
Leshawna and Jasmine spared a glance to each other just as Leshawna's wheels almost fell out from under her. She slowed down to a skidding stop as Jasmine sped off around the bend. "Darn it," she mumbled, kicking up dirt as she continued her much slower trip.
The bend Trent took led him into the forest of Wawanakwa, where he breathed a sigh of relief as his wheels hit dirt. "This is much better," he said just as he rolled over a rocky patch. "But not by much!"
Ryan and Duncan turned the corner just behind Trent as he seemed to escape the forest. "Looks like I'm pulling ahead!" Duncan taunted with a raised hand. Ryan stared at him offended and quickened his pace, only to fall into a pit. "SUCKER!" Duncan called as he sped away.
Confessional, Ryan
Please tell me I didn't make a fool of myself with Zoey's trap.
Ryan pulled himself up off of the pit and continued on his way just as Jasmine arrived on the scene. She failed to notice that Ryan had just gotten out of a pit and sped ahead, tumbling into the pit with her bike right next to her. "Good thing you didn't break," Jasmine sighed. The bike flew up into the air and exploded in fireworks. "Me and my big yap."
Leshawna slowly pedaled along, cursing and hollering all the way. She gained speed only to tumble as she hit the looked up to see Jasmine walking off and Trent, Duncan, and Ryan far off in the distance. She sighed again and started pedaling harder.
Duncan and Trent navigated twists and turns across the sandy beach, getting dangerously close to the water. A landmine blew up just as Duncan rolled over it. The punk had the misfortune of looking back when he collided with the musician. The two collapsed as their bikes got tangled. In the time it took to untangle their chains and handles Ryan slowly passed them by.
Confessional, Trent
You'd think a hoodlum like Duncan would know to keep his eyes on the road!
Just as Ryan triggered two more landmines Trent and Duncan proceeded far more cautiously. "Hey Music Man! Speed up!" Duncan complained as the two of them got to a narrow part of the beach.
"Make me!" Trent hollered back.
Irate, Duncan skidded to the left where he slowly went off course onto yet another landmine, blowing him high up into the air and way in front of the competition. He flashed an obscene gesture as he turned into the forest with a bit of a cackle.
Ryan pedaled faster across the sand while Trent did the same some leagues behind him. Now that the landmines were gone, Leshawna only had to deal with the problems that came with her bike being horribly built.
After another minute Ryan was off of the sand and again on the forest floor. Duncan, who had taken a moment to adjust his chain, put it back on his pedals, and started off. The two became dangerously close to each other before Ryan abruptly stopped. Not looking where he was going Duncan soon found himself pushed back by a giant wooden log. Ryan caught his breath and pedaled on his way.
Just as Trent too hit the forest floor he found Duncan being pushed into him by a wayward branch. "Careful, Chris must have set a log up there."
Confessional, Chris
As brilliant comedy as that was, that wasn't me.
Confessional, Chef
Wasn't me either.
Confessional, Dakota
Not us intens either.
Leshawna slowly trudged on the beach as a seagull pooped on her head. "As if today can't make me feel any worse," she grumbled. A shark popped out of the water, leaped into the air, and grabbed the seagull, laughing and pointing at her as he slowly submerged again. She sadly sighed.
The camera flipped back to Ryan as he soon found himself on sand that was much more sturdy and gave much less resistance. It was a comparatively smoother ride that he found was not gonna last when he turned yet another corner. All along the track were potholes of varying sizes and ramps all through the course. "Phew," Ryan leaned over on his bike. "I think I have to keep going huh?" A squirrel threw a nut at him. "I will dammit."
Further back, Trent and Duncan were neck and neck. The two exchanged barbs as they crossed a relatively narrow clearway where the branches hung dangerously low. "Used to riding low?" Trent mockingly asked.
"Have to duck security cameras all the time," Duncan responded. Once he was in the clearing Duncan sped up, only to be whacked in the head by a branch, and sent spiraling into a river.
Trent witnessed helplessly as a bunch of birds took Duncan's bike and put it in his nest. "Not my problem," Trent plodded along.
Leshawna finally turned into the forest and sped up. Just as she was getting speed and a smile grew on her face, she tripped over a rock, awkwardly bending one of her wheels. "You better work for me baby, I ain't gonna have much more patience left," she sassed.
Way up in the front the camera caught Ryan doing a wicked flip over a ramp over a pit with giant snapping turtles and landing in a very clumsy but still cool looking pose. "I couldn't do that if I tried," he mumbled, riding the rest of the way to the finish line.
"Nice one my man," Chris mentioned. "You've got immunity and we're gonna see who else finishes up with last to cross getting a penalty."
Confessional, Ryan
Victory tastes sweet. It would be sweeter if it was a football game because I haven't had my hand on one for a while but a victory is a victory.
The camera cut to Trent as he approached several of the ramps on the beach. Another camera pan later went to Leshawna guiding her bike through the dirt of the forest. Another quick pan later showed Trent avoiding most of the ramps as the snapping turtles latched onto his bike spokes and his pant legs. He sighed and powered through with his bike, finally crossing after another minute of torture.
Confessional, Trent
And now you know why I prefer motorbikes. I don't have to deal with this! (He holds up his pant leg to show a turtle)
Leshawna finally made it to the snapping turtle ramps. A turtle crawled out slowly and clamped onto her bike. "I suggest you move from the bike before I do something I regret," Leshawna warned the turtle. The turtle stook a tongue out at her and bit her shoes. "I didn't think you had found any loopholes." The unlikely duo pedaled the rest of their way slowly through the rest of the course before another horde of turtles grabbed the one on her shoe and carried her bike away. "OH NO YOU DON'T!" Trent and Ryan winced as turtles were thrown in the ocean and Leshawna received more than a fair bit of bites. "I'M FINISHING THIS!"
With her bike mangled and bent behind her, Leshawna barely managed to trudge across the finish line. "I didn't win did I?"
"No but you're in better shape than Jasmine," Ryan commented. "I think she took a nasty wipeout a while back, saw her walking a bit ago."
"Better than the punk too. Last I saw he and fell into a river dodging a trap," Trent added,
"How'd that even happen? I thought most of the traps were on the beach."
"Yesterday we had the interns scout the forest for some of Zoey's traps. Looks like they didn't get all of them," Chris mentioned. "And since Duncan and Jasmine are in no shape to finish up the race, technically Leshawna, you came in last, so you take the penalty!"
"How is that fair?!" shouted Leshawna.
"Yeah I agree that's kind of mean," Ryan added.
"Well you could take the penalty if you're so inclined," Chris smugly said. When Ryan didn't respond Chris laughed.
"What's my damn penalty?" Leshawna griped, a look of despair on her face.
"Well Leshawna...for coming in last...you're AUTOMATICALLY ELIMINATED!" The look of despair turned to shock Chris doubled over in laughter. "You should have seen the look on your face! I'm glad we got that on camera! Okay but for real, your penalty is more of a punishment, and you have to clean the bathrooms, including the outhouse confessional!"
Dakota handed Leshawna several toilet cleaning supplies and cheered, free of cleaning for once.
As Leshawna stomped off to the bathrooms, Scott whispered into her ear, "Trent," so fast that Leshawna barely understood what Scott had said before Chris had hurried her along.
Confessional, Leshawna
(She's dripping wet in some...ghastly liquid) I almost wish I was eliminated! Then I can go wherever the losers go and get my hair done!
After Challenge
Confessional, Scott
Well my original plan is out the window. I know I said I'd want to keep Trent around. But looking at the bigger picture, taking Trent out still achieves the same goal, we just have to manage Ryan way more than we'd probably have to manage Trent.
Marilyn and Jasmine were strolling back to the cabins as Scott jogged up to them.
"So… with Ryan winning immunity. I think we go for Trent," Scott mused.
"I have no issues with that if I'm honest, mate," Jasmine replied.
"Same here. We could go for Brick also though," Marilyn offered.
"True, but Brick doesn't offer much as far as a strategic threat though. I mean if there's a bitter jury sure he's a threat. But we've still got a ways to go before we have to get Brick out," Scott explained.
"Sucks we can't get Ryan. But getting his right hand man works as well I guess," Marilyn stated.
"Yeah. I'll go fill Duncan in and we'll be good for tonight."
Confessional, Marilyn
With Ryan winning immunity going to him and getting Scott or Duncan out is tempting. It gets the same thing done if we voted Ryan by getting a big threat well. Trent's a good player but Scott and Duncan are way better. It's a gamble. It's a matter of is the risk worth the reward?
"We're locked in for voting Marilyn right?" Ryan asked the delinquent, who sat across from the jock and his buddy Trent in the Mess Hall.
"Yeah for sure. She's too good at challenges to leave around. Jasmine is too, but I feel like Marilyn is way more consistent than Jasmine is," Duncan replied.
"Yeah they'll both have to go soon. Otherwise we don't stand a chance," Trent mused.
"Yeah they can easily win out. And they've got way too many friends on the jury," Ryan added.
"Yeah. There's absolutely no benefit in keeping them around," Duncan stated.
"Scott is on board right?" Trent asked.
"Yeah, he's in. And Brick is in?"
"Yeah," Ryan replied.
Confessional, Trent
I feel a bit better talking to Duncan. He felt a little too eager about it, but it's been Marilyn's time for a little bit now anyways, so I guess I understand it.
Confessional, Duncan
They don't suspect a damn thing hahahaha. I feel bad… NOT!
"What're you thinking tonight?' Brick the Aussie on their stroll through the woods
"Well it's not like I'm voting for Marilyn. So as of now I'll take whatever bone I can get," Jasmine replied.
Confessional, Jasmine
I don't expect a name, but if Brick tells me to vote for Scott or Duncan I might just do it. I like Brick. And I think if it came down to it he'd go with me over Trent or Ryan.
"Look I'm sorry Jasmine. But I just can't betray the guys. You know that."
"Is there any way I could steer you away from Marilyn?"
"I don't think there is Jasmine, I'm sorry."
"It's all good mate."
Confessional, Jasmine
And of course he doesn't give me a name. I know you've got your moral code Brick, but today was the day you needed to break it.
Confessional, Brick
I hope I can still be friends with Jasmine after, but I just don't see a way to save her and Marilyn. The guys really want Marilyn gone. And as much as I want to keep her I can't. I'm a loyal soldier to the end, even though Jasmine may not be a fan of that.
"Hey Ryan!" Heather called out to the jock waving him down just before the ceremony.
"Oh hey Heather, what's up?" Ryan asked.
"Look I want to cut you a deal so to speak."
"What do you mean?"
"Look. Scott is after you. It was supposed to be you this round, but instead they're just sending home Marilyn. At least as far as I'm aware."
"Wait really?"
"Yeah. I'm telling you this because I wasn't fully on board for it. But next round we can make our move against him."
"Why are you telling me this now? Why not earlier?"
"Because I needed to make sure Marilyn went home. We're not exactly friends. I stand a better chance with Jasmine, myself and Leshawna with you, Trent, and Brick rather than Marilyn AND Jasmine being here."
"I can see that logic. But you know I can't help but be a bit suspicious."
"I completely understand that. But I think we both know that Scott and Duncan need to be split up sooner rather than later."
Confessional, Ryan
If what Heather says is true then Scott needs to go. Hopefully she's right and Marilyn goes. But what sucks is that I don't know if she's lying when it's revealed who goes. Because the votes aren't revealed I don't know for sure who she voted for.
Confessional, Heather
A bit of truth with a bit of lying is always perfect. He is told that Scott wants him out which is true, but he isn't told the real target so it gives myself and my allies a bit more power. But considering how big of a liar Scott is. I wouldn't be shocked if Marilyn went or even myself going.
Confessional, Leshawna
(she sniffs her arm and reels back) I need to say the right name tonight. I only caught one syllable so I'm going off of that you know. Hopefully I can shower after this elimination
Elimination Ceremony
"Welcome back to our Elimination Ceremony. Last time you guys voted Zoey off for being too much of a wild card. This time you couldn't vote Ryan out, so let's see what you guys do this time. Will you go for another wild card or someone more… same. Time to find out!"
"First off Ryan you're safe, obviously."

"Scott."
"Trent and Marilyn. You both received votes tonight." Trent sat there wide eyed fearing the worst. Ryan sat perplexed, Scott giddy, Heather smirking, Leshawna smelling. "Trent this isn't your first time in the bottom two but this is the first time where I honestly don't know why you're here. Maybe you're doing something not within view of the cameras. However Marilyn it's no secret you're a challenge threat but it appears like you've been playing from the bottom the whole merge. However in the end… Trent you're out!"
Trent sat there as the whites of his eyes grew to the size of lightbulbs. Blindsided by his alliance mates! Ryan's jaw had hit the floor, Brick's eyes were wide with shock. Marilyn cheered, Jasmine ran over and hugged her. "Do I still smell rank?" Leshawna whispered to Scott. "Nothing bad if you ask me."
"Wow… just wow." Trent started. "I can't believe it. You guys are some great liars. I'd be lying if I said I saw this coming," he chuckled.
"Sorry Trent, but I hope you understand why this had to happen," Duncan said.
"I can't say I do. I can't be mad yet because...It is a game. Hope you know that as frustrated I am… I still made it far," Trent sighed.
"I'll miss you bro," Ryan exclaimed, giving the musician a bro hug. "I'll get Scott and Duncan for you. I'll make sure of it," Ryan whispered."
"Soldier, I salute you. I wish you the best," Brick stated, saluting his 'fallen comrade'.
"I appreciate you guys making this a great adventure for me. Good luck and don't rip each other's heads off."
Trent walked off to the Boat of Losers guitar in hand. Stepping on to the boat he gave a final wave to his former competitors.
Confessional, Ryan
Well I think it's about time the gloves came off. I know Scott and Duncan are behind this. Who else would it be? But perhaps this is an opportunity. As every time one door closes another one opens. And I think I can force several open after this.
Final Confessional, Trent
I guess this is my swan song. Can't say I'm not surprised because I am. Thought the guys had my back and that our alliance was way more sound. There's gotta be a rat somewhere in that cast, not quite sure if I know who it is, but that rat ate all the strings holding this alliance together. I can only assume I was the backup target. No way they think I'm a bigger threat than Ryan. But speaking of Ryan I think it's no secret that I would want him to win. We're bros and we've been knit since day one. Hopefully he manages to survive though this onslaught coming up, it'll be tough, but if anyone can survive it, it'd be him.
Votes
Trent: We're almost there. Four more to go. So Marilyn sorry but you have to go.
Ryan: Another one bites the dust, another one gone, another one gone. Marilyn bites the dust.
Brick: Sorry ma'am but Marilyn your tour of duty is over.
Marilyn: Thank you Scott for this opportunity, adios Trent
Jasmine: It was a matter of time until I voted you out Trent. But I wish it'd have been your partner.
Scott: You alluded me this time Ryan. But your buddy Trent will suffice.
Duncan: Trent you seem chill. But it's time for you to go bye bye.
Leshawna: I have no idea what's going on tonight, but I guess we're doing Trent
Heather: Maybe in another timeline I'd kiss you on your way out, but this isn't that timeline Trent.
Reviews
LordGemini: (Hopps here) At this point in the game everyone was concerned for their self preservation. While most others were concerned about their stance in the game, Zoey's actions were endangering people in a more physical area. She was slowly slipping into canon Commando Zoey as evidenced with the arrow and Jackson last episode and as you saw in this episode people were falling into her traps left and right. That being said, I'm glad you like the comedy for this episode. We definitely stretched the boundaries with survivability but come on, this is a cartoon
TheHiddenAuthor5000: Well not this chapter
GucciManeLaflare: Glad you enjoyed it. And yeah Zoey was on a timer and it was only a matter of time until she went so we basically made her obvious elimination into foreshadowing for future things.
Nobody245: Well you were right it'd be a member of the trio but you had the wrong member of the trio. The pairs are forming but I don't think you accounted for how not buddy buddy they really are.
