A Telepath Among Us
Everyone was laughing at Vanessa who was now getting out of the mud puddle.
"Look at me," Vanessa complained. "I'm a mess! I'll never be an olympic champion now!"
"That's a good look on you, Nessie." Brian laughed.
Lucky backed away in fright.
Mini Regnery came outside from the office.
"If you're the new girl here, there really is no need to be frightened, I'll be your new horseback riding instructor, my name is Jeanne Hale Regnery, but my friends and family call me Mini." Mini introduced.
"Please don't tell my parents about my telekinesis," Lucky sobbed bitterly. "I don't want to be sent away again! My gift was the reason for my living arrangement with my mom and dad in the first place in my 9-year-old life!"
Brian, Jason, Risa, and Evie walked up to Lucky, leading their horses.
"Don't worry," Mini said to Lucky gently. "I'm sure your mother and father wouldn't send you away because you are a telepath."
"Do you really think so?" Lucky asked Mini, drying her eyes.
"I know so." Mini said to Lucky.
Ashley came out of the office with Max by her side.
"You know so what, Mini?" Ashley asked.
Lucky looked up at her mom.
"Mom! Please don't send me back to live with Aunt Jessie, Gran, and Gramps just because I have telekinesis! Gramps and Gran sent me here because they couldn't handle my telekinesis any longer!" Lucky begged.
All Ashley could do was hug her daughter.
"At last! You have found your gift," Ashley exclaimed. "Dad and I are so proud of you!"
"What do you mean? What can my dad do?" Lucky asked Ashley.
"Your dad can teleport, Lucky." Ashley answered.
Lucky was shocked upon hearing this piece of news.
