Diplomatic Envoys and Atlantis

A couple of months later

All the Olympians and their allies were gathered in the Hall of the Gods as it was now named. Athena really had done a great job designing Olympus as a whole after she was gifted the domain Architecture from Hestia who couldn't be bothered with such.

Athena had renovated the Throne Room with gusto. The simple rectangular-shaped structure had been given beautifully decorated pillars on the front with stone sculpted designs all around the rest of the building. She had also put a triangular-shaped roof with red brick which shined and glistened in the light of Helios.

Zeus had thrown his now customary lighting bolt, making Athena purse her lips when she noticed the black spot upon the otherwise spotless marble floor. "And yet another council meeting is in session" Perseus mumbled under his breath. He hadn't had it as horrible as he thought he would without De... her, but he could feel a twinge of shame at his inner apathy towards his 'break up' with her.

Aphrodite had been a real blessing in disguise with her understanding nature even if they didn't love each other, he couldn't help but feel fond of her. And they made their new arrangement work even if Perseus was very reluctant and lost at the start. They had even started to sleep together after a month, though for Perseus it was more of a rebound relationship the first times with him only doing it to relieve stress and such, it became more than that after a couple of weeks and he knew that his wife actually wanted to feel a real type of love so they had begun trying for a baby.

He was distracted from his thoughts when he noticed the six pairs of eyes staring at him with anticipation. "W-what," He said eloquently. His twin rolled his eyes in exasperation. "Can you call your wife and children here?" Perseus's eyes widened at the request but granted it nonetheless and mentally asked for his children and wife to come to him. He already knew that it would be really awkward with his past lover and his now-wife in the same room when he saw her draw a sharp breath when his admittedly beautiful wife arrived with glinting eyes.

All of his children had also arrived and they quickly lined up on the steps of his throne. Perseus looked at his brother with protective eyes when he saw his brother's lingering gaze upon his daughter which made Perseus promptly cough. Another brother of Perseus had also been 'observing' Perseus's daughter and he remained unnoticed by everyone present except one narrowed gaze staring at him with a warning look which made him look away embarrassed. Zeus nervously laughed before beginning "Well as we discussed not one minute ago, was that we want more members to our council and when I suggested my daughter Athena they wanted one of your children to join in response to maintain the equality of the council" Perseus nodded appreciatively at the proposal and looked down on his children.

Prokopios and Persephone immediately shook their heads not wanting anything with the council while their brother had a pained expression that bordered between refusal and acceptance. "I will not force any of you," Perseus said warmly to his children. They all flashed appreciative smiles at him. Hephaestus shook his head and answered his uncle "I accept" Zeus smiled happy that it had gone through and nodded while replying "Very well, Hephaestus and Athena take your seats"

Two seats popped up on the end of each side of the Ω. One of them was a pretty plain white and grey marble throne with golden armrests while the other one had a much more... expressive design, with a red and black base which went up to the armrests who were golden with orange back. There was also an assortment of tools arrayed on the sides just within arms reach for a twenty-foot high god sitting upon the throne.

The two new council members had sat themselves down upon their thrones and Zeus continued. "Aphrodite will also gain a throne along with Hestia and before you say that you are content with only watching we both know that you want to have some say in our council so come up. Two more thrones popped up making the other thrones shimmy a little to the side making some space for the new thrones. You had Hestia's orange throne with the designs of fire licking up the sides of her throne, and Aphrodite's stylish light blue throne with white and golden designs all over it.

The other two new council members also flashed up to their thrones even if one did so with obvious reluctance. "Good good, now that we have all our new members added we can get onto the meeting," Zeus said with his usual charisma making a certain sister of his smile mentally at her decision.

A month later

The council had decided that it would be beneficial to the cause if they tried to get some of the Titans allies to either defect or stay neutral in the coming conflict which had gotten a 'mixed' response, but everything helped as they say so they were happy.

They had until now gotten Crius, Mnemosyne, Phoebe, and her husband Coeus to side with them of the first eight Titans, the Titans had also managed to gain a good amount of their children like Pallas, Helios, Selene, Eos, and Astreus. Eos and Astreus had actually tried to find Perseus regardless because of their shared domains Dawn and Dusk, and regarding something about a threesome whatever that means. They had also gained the interest of Oceanus and Tethys which was the reason why Aphrodite and Perseus were standing on a beautiful beach in the archipelago of some islands south of Attica. Perseus absentmindedly thought about Athena's sudden interest in some small villages on the western coast of Attica where she had blessed multiple mortals to become her priests and such things.

He noticed the figure emerging from the waters and immediately let his attention shift to his brother now walking relaxed trying to actually act serious for once but remaining unsuccessful having a big smile break out upon his face when he saw his younger brother. "Little brother!" He comes over and grabs his brother in a big hug.

"I demand you to release me you big brute," Perseus says indignantly. Poseidon ignores his brother's demands and when he finally stops strangling his brother he turns his attention to his Sister-in-law. "How do you manage to be in his presence for prolonged periods of time with him having such a long stick up his ass?" Poseidon asks Aphrodite with laughing eyes and joking... mostly. Aphrodite shakes her head with exasperation "I really don't know. He's impossibly childish unless he's in the presence of his children" Perseus makes noises of protest at the allegations but they both 'ignore' him.

"I know before he had his children he was so happy to go lucky but then he had to get those children of his" Poseidon smiling trying to sigh disappointedly but failing. "I think we are not agreeing upon my husband's best side," Aphrodite said with a raised eyebrow only now realizing that Poseidon liked Perseus's more childish side. Aphrodite finally decided after feeling a little bad about their continued ignorance towards her husband to give him a little apologizing peck on his lips, making him immediately smile smugly at his brother. Poseidon only rolled his eyes and said "We have a meeting to get to. Let's go!" Perseus blushed slightly and was slightly shocked that his brother actually acted a little responsibly.

They then silently walked down under the water until they were completely covered before Poseidon flashed the trio to the meeting ground.

Perseus POV

If we had looked on a map we would have seen that we were just in the middle of the Gibraltar Strait or what would eventually become the Gibraltar Strait in a millennium or two at least. There was a bunch of glowing corals arranged in a circle down on the seabed of the intersecting Atlantic and Mediterranean Ocean and Sea respectively. In the middle of the lit circle was a dark wooden desk with three chairs on each side. There were already a respectable number of mermen and other sentient sea creatures arranged on each side of the circle flanking their respective Lords.

On the other side of the negotiations table were three sea deities. It was one forty-year-old-looking man with two beautiful women flanking him on each side. The one on the left looked like she was in her late thirties while the other one was in her early twenties almost mirroring Poseidon's own age.

I glanced briefly at the women before letting my attention settle on the powerfully built man in the middle. I had my wife on my right side while Poseidon flanked me on my left. The other man who I assumed was Oceanus stared right back at me with his ocean blue eyes.

We both moved up to the table at the same time. The tension and anticipation were more noticeable than the water surrounding them for this historic event in the making. Everyone sat down and with me being the gentleman he was helped his wife into her seat before sitting down himself. Oceanus looked amused at my attempt to take the moral high ground while he effortlessly helped the two women he had with him down in their seats.

I started "Oceanus I presume?" Oceanus nodded and replied "Indeed and my wife Tethys and daughter Amphitrite" He looked to his left and right respectively. "I am Perseus and this is my wife Aphrodite and brother Poseidon," I said gesturing to them respectively. "Ahh, the King of the Gods, his beautiful wife, and brother what an honor meeting with such high profile members of your rebellion," Oceanus said with a slight destain. My eyebrows furrowed at the disrespectful tone before replying "I see... these negotiations are obviously a joke to you, very well we'll see you on the battlefield" I raised from my seat and was about to help my wife out of hers before I was stopped.

"No!... Ehh I mean I apologize for my unwanted humor, please let us get these negotiations over with" Oceanus said quickly not as tactful as he seemed, his wife Tethys looked to be rolling her eyes in disappointment at her husband's tactlessness.

"Very well" Perseus replied calmly while he was mentally disdainful at the way his easy trap had worked on the 'powerful' deity his mother had described him as. He sat down yet again and started the meeting for real. "So we want at least a promise of neutrality in the coming conflict with our father." I gestured to my brother at the end of the sentence. It looked like Tethys had decided to take charge and mentally contact her husband.

"We could agree to that with certain stipulations," Oceanus said haltingly trying to maintain a strong facade. I ignored his inexperience in the art of negotiations and nodded agreeably. "We... I want control over the seas to the south and east" I thought about before answering "No, You shall have control of the south while my brother will control the northern seas" Oceanus and his entourage looked shocked at the denial, though some were more gathered than others.

"Very well then, I will gain the southern seas and your brother will have the northern ones" I nodded and Oceanus continued "A non-aggression pact shall be held between the kingdom of Oceanus and the Olympian Gods for two millennia" I saw no reason to deny the very cowardly offer by the Titans I thought disdainfully. This wasn't shown by my accepting nod. "And finally, we want lowered tax tariffs in the Gulf Stream" I tuned out his trade negotiations with my brother and when they finally decided upon those kinds of matters.

"Alright, our conditions concerning this agreement. One, you will either ally yourselves with us or at the very least remain neutral in this coming conflict" Oceanus nodded easily at the request. "Two, you will if you want to remain neutral and retain your freedom exile yourselves to the southern seas if this deal goes through" Tethys jolted at that and Oceanus too didn't seem to like that one very much. "You would want us to go into exile?" Oceanus said baffled. "Exile? You're water deities, this is your home! Or it should be" The assortment of water creatures on each side of the negotiations table was waiting with anticipation at what his answer would be.

"Of course it's our home, don't be silly," Oceanus said affronted with his wife silently asking the same question. All the while their daughter was... a little lost in my brother's deep sea-green eyes which looked to have mesmerized her. "Then it will not be a problem to live down there then, right?" I said giddiness bubbling at the thought of how we now were sidelining a big part of the Titans might. The two sea deities shared an obvious mental conversation before Oceanus answered stiffly "Of course, precede" I growled mentally at his order.

"I wouldn't use that tone on equals... Oceanus" Tethys rubbed her temples tiredly at her husband's lack of tact in general. "Indeed I apologize" I smiled inwardly at his more subservient reply and got onto the next condition "Three, you will (if we win the war) help with rebuilding any damages caused during the conflict" I finished eagerly waiting for their reaction.

"What!? Why do we have to rebuild your land from a war that we weren't even in" Oceanus said before his wife could give him any tips and tricks? "Why, because everyone has to help with repairing any damages caused upon Gaia," I said reasonably. Tethys mentally conversed with her husband. I turned to my right and whispered into Poseidon's ear. "Do you have any more wants?" My brother got a disturbing glint in his eyes, and after the Titans had nodded to the last condition he spoke up. "To sweeten the deal I suggest a political marriage between me and your beautiful daughter Amphitrite" my eyebrow rose in surprise at my brother's attempt at being politically suave.

Amphitrite got a golden blush and looked at her parents with big hopeful eyes. Oceanus took one look down at his daughter before obviously being convinced while his wife sighed irritated but didn't offer up anything to the table. "Alright if this deal goes through you and Amphitrite shall be married within the end of the year" My brother nodded easily at the requirement. "That's it then, let's make a binding vow now if everyone agrees to this treaty" Everyone nodded though some were more enthusiastic than others. "Let's swear upon Gaia and let her be our mediator for this treaty.

"I swear to uphold this treaty until the allocated time goes out" Everyone present repeated the vow and after a polite goodbye the Titans and Oceanid flashed out of the area.

"Well that was a very productive meeting don't you think?" I asked my wife who absently hummed in agreement. "Aphrodite? Is there something wrong?" Poseidon had gotten us some privacy so we couldn't be overheard by anyone other than probably Poseidon himself. "No, well yes it's just that I feel quite nostalgic, did you know that I was born out here?" I shook my head in fascination "No, I didn't know why were you born out here" Aphrodite had a small humorless smile on her beautiful face. "My father as you know is Ouranos, but what you probably didn't know was that I stepped out of the sea foam made by his testicles hitting the sea after they were cut off by your father"

I was shocked "Ohh that's quite an interesting story" Aphrodite turned to look at me with 'no shit' eyes. "Let's get out of here Perseus" I took her arm and flashed us to where my brother was standing trying to get some control of the assortment of different sea creatures.

"You should make a city" Poseidon looked totally baffled by my suggestion. "What? Where? When?" It looked like my brother had lost the function of his brain because he looked totally lost. "Yes, a palace may be surrounded by a city. I can even help you get it started" I offered graciously. Poseidon looked to be for once thinking about a thing. "That would fix most of the current issues the populace have currently, and it would be a nice way to show of to my fiancé" He mumbled the last bit but Aphrodite and I both heard the last bit making my wife actually smile for real.

"Alright, but where should we put it?" My brother questioned me. "How about the seas past this strait, with your palace there you could have privacy for the rest of your life" Poseidon looked thoughtful before nodding. "Very well that's where we will found the undersea city of..." I thought about the name for this new city before Aphrodite interrupted us both. "How about Atlantis?" I and my brother thought about it for a little bit before Poseidon nodded and said "Yes, Atlantis will be the envy of every other city on Gaia"

"Well, my wife and I can't be here too much longer brother so we should hurry up" Poseidon absently answered while taking our arms "Right, right here we go!"

We arrived at an open area of the seabed with coral reefs in the distance on every side. Poseidon nodded with satisfaction and said, "This is a good place for my city" I looked around and agreed eventually. "Well let's begin!"

The three deities went into their true forms and swam around conjuring different walls and foundations in a seemingly random fashion but by the time Perseus and Aphrodite were finished they had managed to finish one wing of the palace before Poseidon waved them of distracted by the city building he was doing.

They shrugged and flashed out to their last destination on their schedule for today.

Alchymedes was excited like a child when he saw what his new scribes had recorded about their current situation concerning the Cult of Perseus. It had been very easily accepted in Knossos and the King there had even made it the state religion there. Which was the reason why the highest-ranking priests in the cult had unfortunately departed Perséa. But from Knossos, they had a much higher potential for their spread of the cult.

He was in the newly constructed temple situated on one of the hills in the respectable city of Knossos. His quarters were much bigger and more ostentatious than his former ones that's for sure, with lots of gold-lined carpets and such in his quarters alone. He was suddenly interrupted from his thoughts by two figures arriving out of a flash. He recognized the man of course but the woman his patron had on his arm was an unknown. She was for example very beautiful with golden blonde hair with big blue eyes occasionally shifting to another color like green or brown but stayed mainly on blue.

Alchymedes quickly dropped to a knee "My Lord and Lady". "You see why I chose him now?" Perseus said to his companion. "Well I guess I can see the benefits. Alright I agree to your proposition," The stunning woman said to Alchymedes's patron. "Well then I guess introductions are in order, I am as you both know Perseus. This is Aphrodite goddess of Love, Beauty, Sexual Pleasure, and Fertility. And my wife." Alchymedes was shocked before getting his wits together "Lady Aphrodite, Ohh now we finally have a Mother" Perseus raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?" Alchymedes seemed to jolt in surprise before blushing embarrassed.

"Well we priests have decided to honor you with the title of Father of Humanity, and now since you have a wife we have a Goddess to give the title of Mother of Humanity to" Alchymedes nervously said. Suddenly a burst of soft laughter filled the room and both of the men present looked at Aphrodite with raised eyebrows. "What is it?" Perseus asked his wife. "It's just like you to not notice that your followers have given you such a title without you noticing it" Perseus looked playfully affronted. "It's not my fault do you know how much time the children take out of my day, and they're now Gods in their own right" Aphrodite giggles eventually stopped. "I would love to be known as Mother of Humanity Alchymedes"

"But this wasn't actually the reason for our visit, you may have heard me mentioning my children?" Alchymedes nodded rapidly. "Well, I want altars for them in this temple, as fast as possible" Alchymedes's nodding remained.

"Their names are..."
