Something Wrong This Way Comes

"Risa! Risa!" Katie called out.

"Please, Risa! Wake up." Christina pleaded.

Risa didn't even move a muscle.

"Everyone, help me get Risa on Spirit's back," Evie said. "we need to get her back home to our camp!"

Spirit got down low to the ground as Evie and Demi placed Risa upon her horse's broad back.

When they finally got back to the Wandering Star Circus's grounds, the former land plots of the Cowlin family, it was Christina who knocked on the door of the Atwood family's trailer since Risa was being supported by Evie.

Lisa heard knocking on the front door.

When she opened the door, Lisa found Risa with her eyes shut tightly being supported by Evie.

"Oh my goodness! Risa!" Lisa screamed.

Evie and the other girls brought Risa inside the trailer gently and carefully.

"Where do you want her, Missis Atwood?" Demi asked.

"Just set Risa on the sofa, Demi." Lisa instructed.

Rafael rose from his easy chair.

"Evie?" Rafael asked firmly.

"What is it, Dad?" Evie answered, meeting her father's strict gaze.

"Do you know what happened to Risa?" Rafael asked Evie in a stern manner.

"No, Dad, one minute, Ri was fine," Evie explained to Rafael. "and the next minute... she keeled over!"

Rafael looked at Lisa.

"Lisa," Rafael ordered calmly. "call Catherine, we need our apothecary on this particular case!"

"Yes, Rafa." Lisa said urgently.

Lisa dialed up the number of Catherine Barton.
