Binca Jojo was definitely the most mature of the Jojo siblings. She was the oldest after all, and she felt like she had to look after them. She was even a somewhat motherly figure towards the two. But she was still just eleven, and there were certain things an eleven year old kid just hated doing.

One of them was homework.

Now, it wasn't like she couldn't do the homework herself. She was a smart kid. Not some genius or anything, but smart. She could probably knock it out in a reasonable amount of time if she wanted to. But the thing was she didn't want to. Not when there were much easier ways to get it done. Like charming some boy to do it.

Bianca had learned very quickly that if a pretty girl batted her eyelashes and smiled, boys would trip over themselves to impress or do stuff for them. Bianca wasn't interested in having a boyfriend. Not a serious one anyway. But she also wasn't below teasing just a little bit to get what she wanted. So she'd smile and giggle at some nerdy boy and ask for 'help' with her homework or report, and after a few minutes it was done.

Today the person she planned on helping her out was none other than Stanton Pines.

She didn't know much about the kid. She knew he was a little socially awkward, that he always had his nose in a book, and that he was a straight A student. A classic nerd. She also knew he was always hanging out with that weird Ezra kid. She'd always been more than a little put off by him and a lot of other members in the Supernatural Department, but since he was out on a mission that wasn't going to be a problem.

She floated up towards the boy who was sitting up against the wall and scribbling something in his journal. He seemed so focused on whatever it was he was doing. Like he was in a trance. She cleared her throat to get his attention, but he didn't even look up. She then reached out and waved her hand in the air. Again, he didn't look.

Bianca frowned before finally speaking up. "Perdóneme." Stanton finally looked up from his journal when he realized someone was in front of him. Bianca smiled down at him sweetly. "Hey there, it's Stanton right?"

He nodded. "Yeah. Can I help you?" He asked. He had noticed her and her siblings before, and... well, it wasn't that he hadn't had much interest in them. But he spent more time with Cayenne and Micah who he could get more than enough info from when it came to chemical X users, so it really didn't seem necessary to bother them.

"It's really nice to meet you, formally I mean. I just saw you over here and thought I'd say hi," she greeted.

Stanton stared at her. "Oh... hi?" He offered an awkward wave before going right back to his book.

She looked down at him annoyed. Seriously? Was what was in that journal really so important? She leaned down again. "Hey, since you asked and all, I was actually wondering if you could give me a hand with something," she said, getting his attention once more. "I heard that you're muy inteligente. Like a straight A student. And I was having a little trouble with my math homework. I was just wondering if you could help me out for a bit."

Stanton nodded. "Oh, I see... no."

Bianca looked wide eyed. "Que?"

"Sorry, but I really don't feel like doing that. I have a lot of stuff to record in the journal now and... honestly I just don't want to. Maybe you should try asking someone in the technology department. I'm sure they'd help you out," he said going right back to the journal yet again.

The girl looked down at him with utter disbelief written on her face. Had he just...? "Wait, I just asked you for help and you said no? Not for any actual reason, but just because you don't want to?" she asked for clarification. She couldn't think of any time a boy had blown her off so casually. Whenever a guy didn't do something for her there was usually a real reason behind it. Nobody said no to her just because they didn't want to.

"Uh, yes?" Stanton said curiously. "Sorry, was that rude?"

She scoffed. Was he serious? "No, it's fine," she said, crossing her arms. "If you don't want to, then you don't want to..." She turned and floated off, and Stanton stared after for a bit before sticking his nose back into the book. He wasn't sure whether her reaction was genuinely good or bad, but he didn't have time to fret over it now.

It really shouldn't have been bothering her this much. She knew he was an oddball. She'd heard Cayenne mention something about his sister bringing him here to socialize. So she should have expected him to do something weird.

But it still irritated her that he did it so casually. She knew it sounded kind of arrogant but... no boy had ever shut her down like that. It felt like a blow to her pride. "Why are you staring at that white boy?" Ty asked, confused.

Bianca had been staring across the room at the boy in question for some time now. Stanton was browsing through his journal as he ate a grilled cheese sandwich, seemingly stuck in his own little world.

"He's just sitting there... reading..."

Ty raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, and Quan is just sitting here eating. This is the type of shit dudes like them do," he said. If their younger brother even noticed, he didn't show it. He just kept biting away at his granola bar.

"I don't get him. What's his deal?"

Ty looked at his sister confused. "Sis, since when do you care about getting that weirdo?" he asked.

"I don't. I just... he didn't do my homework."

"He didn't do my homework either, doesn't mean I want to stare a hole though dude."

Bianca frowned at him. "I mean I actually asked him to. I put on my cute face and everything, and he just... said no."

Ty chuckled. "He shot you down? Damn, I guess cuz had standards after all."

She glared. "That's not funny Ty!"

He waved her off. "Aw calm down sis. What were you expecting from him? I don't even think he's into girls. He walked past that chick I think he's like Cayenne," he said shrugging his shoulders.

Bianca looked back towards him. Maybe her brother was right. Maybe he just wasn't interested in anyone. She got up and began making her way over towards him to find out. She sat next to him and smiled. "Hey there Stanton," she said.

He glanced over at her. "Hey."

"So, I saw you sitting here all by yourself and I thought I'd come over and sit with you," she said sweetly.

"Okay..." he said, turning back to the journal.

She did her best to hide her irritation. "So, Stanton... you've met a lot of people around here. Is there anyone you might be sort of interested in?" she asked, leaning towards him.

He hummed. "Well, I am looking forward to seeing Ezra's cousin Jen."

"Oh, really?" Bianca asked. So he was interested in girls.

"Yeah, she can use alien technology and is familiar with other forms of alien life. I want to ask her about her powers and other things she's seen," he explained.

Bianca just stared at him. Nope, this was hopeless. She wasn't going to be able to get a beat on him. She sighed and then stood up before walking off. "Never mind..." she muttered.

"Oh, Stanton? He's Demisexual," Renee said, placing another book on her shelf. "Why do you ask?"

Bianca hummed. She knew it. She knew there had to be some reason she was acting so cold towards her. "No particular reason. Just wanted to know more about him I guess," she said.

Renee raised an eyebrow at him. "Did you... did you try to charm him into doing something for you?" she asked.

"No!" Bianca said pouting.

"You did, didn't you?" Renee asked, smirking. "Big mistake there. Stanton isn't the type to get flustered easily. You'd have had an easier time trying to bribe him with some secret power of yours or something."

The girl groaned. "I wasn't trying to... he was just so rude! And he's such an extraño!"

"You seem really upset about this Bianca," Renee said slightly amused. "You really shouldn't take it so personally. Stanton is just a little of an odd ball. He's more interested in filling his journal than he is in girls."

Bianca let out a sigh. "Whatever, it's not like I care..."

Renee again stared down at the girl. "You're not going to let this go are you?" she asked.

Bianca scoffed. "Lo que sea, I have better things to do than try to win over your weirdo little brother."

"Alright then..."

Flustered. She just wanted to get him flustered once, just to prove she could. "Buenos días Stanton," she said smiling brightly as she approached the boy in the halls. He closed his locker and turned towards her.

"Hey... you..." he said, sounding unsure.

She narrowed her eyes at him. "Did you... did you forget my name?"

"To be fair I'm pretty sure I never knew your name in the first place..."

Bianca had to keep herself from smacking the boy upside the head. Instead she forced herself to smile. "It's Bianca," she said. "I just wanted to say hi on my way to class."

"Is your class this way?" he asked curiously.

She nodded. "Why yes, it is," she said before holding up her books. "But it's a bit far, and these books are pretty heavy. I wish I didn't have to carry them all the way there."

"Sounds rough..."

Okay, subtly was lost on him. "Stanton, I was wondering if maybe you could give me a hand and carry them for me. I mean just until I get to class. They're just so heavy, you know?" she said.

He stared at her. "Uh... don't you have super strength?" he asked.

She flinched. "Uh... Si, but I-"

"I think you'll be fine," he said before turning and walking off.

Bianca watched him, squeezing her books so tightly she was leaving her finger imprints in the book. "That little..."

The next time she saw Stanton, he was with Sear outside of the Supernatural department. He was standing before the dragon who had his mouth wide open and counting his teeth. "Hola Stanton."

He turned towards her for what felt like the twelfth time today. "Hello... cowlick?"

"It's Bianca!" she snapped. "At least guess a real name!"

"Sorry. I'm not good with names..."

"Liar!" Bianca thought angrily. He'd memorized practically everyone's names in the Supernatural Department the first day he got here. "So... just what are you up to over here?" she asked through gritted teeth.

"I'm counting Sear's teeth. I've never seen a dragon species like his before so I want to study as much as I can about him," he said as he went right back to counting. "Fifty five, huh... odd number..." He then reached under his chin. "Can I have a scale?"

The dragon looked at him wearily, but then lifted his chin. Bianca stepped forward. "Oh, maybe I can help you with that," she said. She figured maybe she could try to play on his interest. The moment she stepped towards him however, Sear growled. Bianca stopped and then looked at the dragon. "Huh, that's odd. He's usually so friendly."

Bianca frowned at him. "Oh c'mon escala, I just want to pluck one little scale."

Sear narrowed his eyes and bared his teeth at her. "I'm going to suggest you don't touch him. He's being awfully aggressive right now," Stanton warned. Bianca took a step back, and Sear seemed to calm down. Stanton patted him on the head and he let out a purring sound before leaning over and nuzzling his face.

Bianca looked at him in disbelief. "Que?! Why is he so nice to you?!"

"Not sure," Stanton said. "Maybe he just doesn't like you."

Bianca scoffed, and then turned and stormed off.

A girl could only try and fail so many times before she just got ticked off. Eventually she decided to just go with a more direct approach to her little problem. "Why don't you like me?!"

Stanton looked up at her from his spot on the couch. "Oh, hey..."

Bianca glared down at him, eyes red. "If you forget my name again I swear I'm gonna fry you!"

Stanton kept staring at her, and a drop of nervous sweat came down his forehead. "Uh... Brit-" She growled. "Bianca?"

"No te soporto." She floated towards him and then yanked him up to his feet by his shirt collar. "I want to know why you don't like me? I know you're into nerdy stuff, and I know you're demisexual or whatever-"

"Who told you that?"

"But seriously?! Do you really just not feel anything when I was talking to you?! What's the problem?! Do I annoy you?! Are you afraid of me?! Am I not pretty enough?!"

"What?" Stanton asked, confused. "No, you're very pretty."

Bianca stopped and looked at him surprised. "Huh?"

"I said you're very pretty."

Bianca stared for a bit, and then blushed. "T-then why didn't you...?"

"React?" he asked tilting his head. "Why did you want me to react?"

Bianca opened her mouth to speak, but then thought for a moment. Why... Why did she want him to react so badly? There were dozens of boys who fell over themselves for her, so why did she want him so badly? "I... I don't know! I just want you to!"

Stanton hummed. "Okay... fine. You're very pretty and if it will get you to stop this I'll help with your homework."

Bianca blushed deeper and turned her head away. "I don't want you to do it because you just want me to leave you alone! I want you to do it because you want to!" she said.

"But I don't really want to."

"Uh! You're such a weirdo!"

She turned around and stormed out angrily, and Stanton just stared after her. "Well, glad that's over." He went to sit back down, but then suddenly saw a light coming from his pocket. "What the...?" He grabbed his cards from his pocket and saw that the 6th card had activated. This one had a picture of Bianca on it, and she was smiling sweetly and as she made a heart with her hands.

"Congratulations Stanton, you have unlocked the power of 'The Lovers' card." Arcana said.

Stanton looked at the card in shock. "What? But it's Bianca! That doesn't make any sense! There is absolutely nothing we did today that should qualify as a bond!" he said.

"Perhaps she cares for you in some way?"

"That's crazy."

"In my experience that is the general conclusion regarding the fairer sex."

Meanwhile, Bianca was doing her best to shake the red from her cheeks. She couldn't believe that idiot. Even if he really wasn't interested, he dumb could a guy get to phrase it like that? Why was he so blunt, and air headed, and why did she care?!

"Estúpido..."
