Wanting To Learn Music

A few days later, Evie walked into the lounge to find Risa with her guitar in hand and Brian Junior resting his head on Risa's left shoulder.

"Wow, Ri! Where did you learn to play the guitar like that," Evie exclaimed. "you're really good!"

Risa stopped playing to answer her sister's question.

"Father taught me how to play the guitar." Risa answered Evie.

"Acoustic or electric?" Evie asked Risa.

"Both, and bass guitar too, I've played at dances for a little bit of pocket money, not to mention, earned some pocket money trick riding." Risa answered Evie.

"You really do that," Evie gasped. "you are amazing, Risa!"

"Thanks, Evie." Risa said.

Brian picked his head up from Risa's shoulder.

"I'll see you later, Ri," Brian said. "I promised Ruby I'd take her for a ride on the Fox Creek trail."

Brian went off to tack up Ruby.

"Tell you what, Evie," Risa said. "I'll ask Mom and Dad if we can go to the mall's music store to look for your ideal musical instrument."

"You'd really do that for me?" Evie asked Risa.

"Of course, Evie." Risa said.

"Oh, thank you, Ri," Evie exclaimed, hugging Risa tightly. "thank you lots!"
