Marcy awoke hours later...she was in a somewhat familiar setting...she was slowly remembering some things...did I...die?

Marcy looked to her side and saw Anne, who was crying tears of joy.

"Marcy! You're okay!"

"What...happened to me?"

"It's a long story...but...do you remember me?"

Marcy looked at Anne, and memories were slowly coming back to her...

"Anne?"

"Yes! It's me, Anne!" Anne came closer.

"Anne!" Marcy hugged Anne. "Oh, it's so good to see you!"

"Marcy...I have to tell you something...I wanted to tell you once we were back, but...so much had happened..."

"What is it Anne?"

"I...uh...I wanted to tell you that...I..."

Marcy suddenly realized what Anne was trying to say. Marcy came closer to Anne, and Anne leaned in closer.

"Hey guys, me and Grime got some food, and..." Sasha paused after seeing Anne and Marcy looking like they were about to kiss. "Oh, is it a bad time?"

"Oh, uh, hey Sasha..." Anne backed away from Marcy. They were both flustered.

Marcy looked at Sasha and noticed the eye patch. "Wait, what happened to you, Sasha?"

"Oh, uh...should I tell Marcy what happened?"

"Uh, sure..." Anne wasn't sure how Marcy would react, but figured keeping this from her would just make things worse. No more secrets between us...

Sasha sat down by Marcy. "So...you were kinda...totally under mind control, and you fought us, and you slashed Anne in the chest and got me in the eye...but we were able to bring you back..."

"Wait, I did that? Oh my, I'm so sorry!"

"Nah, don't worry about it. I am rocking this eye patch...plus, the doctor said there wasn't any major damage, so it should heal up fine...my vision in that eye may be a bit blurrier, but...I think I've been needing glasses for a while anyway..."

"I never would've thought you'd need glasses, Sash," Anne said.

"Yea...my parents gave me contacts, but I hated them...they always hurt my eyes, so I never wear them..."

"Maybe I can take you someday and you can pick out a pair..."

"Yea...I mean...I've always been told that only dorks wear glasses, but...maybe it's time I stop trying to be popular and just...be myself..."

Marcy lit up. "Oh, does that mean you'd be interested in playing Creatures and Caverns?"

"I wouldn't necessarily go that far..."

Marcy looked at Sasha with her puppy dog eyes, and Sasha caved.

"Okay fine...I'll try it out..."

Lady Olivia came into the room.

"The castle will take some time to repair...considering someone blew up the flight system and got it submerged in the ocean...but with the help of the humans, the castle was recovered..."

"Hey, uh, Lady Olivia..." Anne approached Olivia..."I may need some time with the box...just to go see my parents and bring the Plantars back home..."

"I'll grant you that time...but the box must be returned once the castle is restored..from there, you may not be able to see the Plantars as often as you'd like...but I'll come through the portal every now and then and let you come back..."

"Maybe we can visit on the weekends? I would just need to talk to my parents..."

"Perhaps..."

"Thanks!" Anne hugged Olivia.

Yunan came into the room.

"Hey Olivia...now that Andrias is dead...who's gonna rule Amphibia?"

"Well...it turns out that I'm descended from the rightful rulers of Amphibia, before they were usurped...so...I guess I'll be Queen Olivia from now on..."

"Are you serious?" Yunan rushed over and hugged Olivia. "That's great news! I can't wait to serve you, my majesty!"

"Serve me? Why not rule with me?"

"You mean...?"

"Yes..." Olivia pulled out a ring.

"Oh my...yes, I will marry you!" Yunan held Olivia in her arms and kissed her, to the delight of everyone in the room.

"Aww, that is so adorable!" Anne said with tears in her eyes.

Marcy held onto Anne. Marcy was still having trouble walking after what had happened to her. Marcy bowed.

"Can I be the maid of honor?" Marcy said.

Olivia hugged Marcy. "Absolutely, my child..."

Marcy looked over at Anne.

"I suppose...I should tell you something too, Anne...I've...always had a crush on you...as long as I remember, actually..."

"Yea...Polly told me..."

"There's...still a lot I don't remember...but what I do remember is that...I've had these feelings for a long time, and I...I never knew how to tell you...and..."

Marcy was interrupted when Anne leaned in and finally kissed her. Marcy was stunned at first, but then she started kissing Anne back and caressed her hair.

This is pure bliss...

Anne leaned back and looked at Marcy, who smiled brightly at her. Anne smiled back at her.

"Let's go see the Plantars..."

Anne helped Marcy over to the box. Anne activated it and stepped through the portal with Marcy holding onto her for balance.

Marcy...I'm so glad you're back...I don't know what I would do without you...you've always made me smile...I guess part of me has always felt this way about you...seeing you at the gates of Newtopia merely made me realize how much I love you...
