Chapter 1: Thawne Escapes
"How fun…" He says, seeing that sending the dead body of his opponent into the sun, creating an explosion that was reaching the planet he was on now.
Not wanting to meet his end this way, the Reverse Flash knew one way out of it. He had to run to a different timeline.
Eobard Thawne started speeding.
Now… which timeline should I go to this time? Maybe one where that idiot in dark clothes came from? Or maybe I can just screw with Barry some more? Now where-
His thoughts are cut off when the supernova he's caused has caught up with him. He looked back and saw it reaching.
"Damn… I did a better job than I thought." He said to himself.
The push of the explosion, right when he made the right amount of speed to travel, caused him to lose his footing and fall. However, his body disappeared before it could hit the ground.
This Earth, in this timeline, is no more. But Eobard Thawne, the Reverse Flash, has disappeared.
However, someone took notice of this.
"Oh boy… better get the big guns… and by big guns I mean the guy this idiot keeps writing about." Deadpool said from atop a building as he used his teleportation device to leave before the supernova reached him.
Elsewhere in the Multiverse
Casper High's bell rang. School was over.
Students were racing out, happy to be free for the weekend.
Among the last to leave were Danny Fenton and his friends.
"Finally, this week was probably the most grueling yet." Sam sighs in relief.
"You say that about almost every week." Danny points out.
"True, but I mean it." Sam responds.
"So…" Tucker then wrapped his arms around his friends' necks in a friendly gesture. "What's the plan? Fun? Food? Going to the world of monster babes with us coming along this time?" He asks with a big grin, much to Sam's annoyance.
"Still hoping the soul-draining demon girl would start taking an interest in you?" Sam questioned.
"Hey, I don't discriminate with the opposite gender." Tucker insists.
"Sorry, but I'm not paying anyone a visit this weekend. I think this time, for once, I'm fine with just sticking to my world." Danny says.
Sam smiled in relief.
"Well… good to know. Anyway-"
She's cut off when someone grabs Danny by the shirt and pulls him out of Tucker's arm.
It's Dash, who lifts him up.
"Well, what a great way to start the weekend." Dash said with a nasty grin.
However, before he could raise a fist, someone tapped on his shoulder.
"Scuse me, generic high school bully cliche?" He asked.
Dash turned his head, annoyed that someone was interrupting him, before seeing who it was.
"Uh… what's with the costume, loser?"
Deadpool rolled his eyes.
"What's with the cliche of being a jock and a bully? Shouldn't you be trying to have an actual life? Anyway, I'm gonna need that kid right now. He's more important than you anyway…"
Dash scoffed.
"Pfft… or what?" He challenged.
"Or…" Deadpool said before pulling one of his katanas up, showing one of the blades glistening a moment.
With a terrified look in his eyes and a fake smile, Dash drops Danny.
"Here ya go!" He said before walking away.
Once Sam and Tucker helped Danny up, he dusted himself off before addressing the person who has just saved him.
"Deadpool?" Danny asks.
"Sup Dude. Cool to see you in something that's not a Many Dates story." Deadpool greets.
"I… have no idea what that means, but what's going on?" Danny asks.
"We got a problem…" Deadpool says.
Sam rolled her eyes.
"Wonder Woman not calling you?" She scoffed.
"Hey, she's just being shy is all! But that's not what I mean. It involved another DC charact- it ain't a chick, if you two are wondering." Danny and Tucker's smiles dropped. "It's about someone who just got involved in a Death Battle. Wiz and Boomstick have no idea but he's kind of gone MIA, or at least the version of him."
The three looked at each other, unsure of this.
"Uh… who?" Danny asks.
Deadpool looks around, as if worried.
"Too likely for us to be spotted, either by your enemies or by those two [censored]." He realized what just happened and rolled his eyes. "[censored] really? Here too? Aww… [censored]. Anyway, I need to speak with you. Just you, not these two."
Sam and Tucker both glared before Danny thought about it.
It must be serious if he's willing to show up here.
"Okay…" He said, much to their surprise.
On the rooftop of Casper High
Danny, now as Danny Phantom, stood with his arms crossed as Deadpool held up his phone to him, showing the person in question.
"His name is Eobard Thawne, aka the Reverse-Flash, the most hated enemy of all speedsters in the DC Universe, including the Flash."
Danny laughed at that.
"Reverse-Flash? That's the most creative name he could come up with?" He asks.
"Sure, you'd think. But his whole thing is that he wants to be the reverse of everything The Flash is. For every person he's saved, Thawne here kills. He's obsessed with ruining The Flash's life." Deadpool responds.
"So… you're showing me this, why?" Danny asks.
"I'm asking a bunch of people, including your girlfriends." Deadpool said.
Danny frowned at that.
"They're not my girlfriends, they're just nice people that I've gone out with, and each one I think are really cool." He says defensively.
"Even though one's a demon, one turns into a kung fu zombie and one's got horns? Huh, at least you don't discriminate." Deadpool congratulates him for a moment. "Anyway, I'm seeing pretty much everyone right now. I'm letting you know first because you seem to be a magnet for all kinds of [censored] [censored]."
"Uh… cool to know?" Danny went nervously.
"Anyway… I gotta let all your other out of world buddies know. Normally, I ain't so serious, but Eobard Thawne is not someone you take lightly. Whatever you do, if you find him, get in touch with me right away with your portal gizmo and do not let him out of your sight, but also try not to give him a reason to kill you. Dude's super petty, he'll send every part of your body in opposite directions just for joking about how stupid his name is." Deadpool warned.
"Eobard or Reverse-Flash?" Danny asks.
"Yes." Deadpool responded.
Danny just stared at him for a good moment before realizing Deadpool's warning meant both.
"Oh… okay?"
"Anyway…" Deadpool held up his portal machine and opened a doorway. "Better get going…"
"Wait… you're not gonna check if he's here?" Danny asks.
"While I got a hell of a healing factor, the Reverse-Flash is capable of doing all kinds of things that'd make it hard even for me to heal from. As soon as we find him, I'm bringing everyone I can to help out. It might be easier to take him out as a group." Deadpool said as he stepped in. "Relax, if anything happens, you'll be saved by a higher power." Deadpool assured as the portal closed.
Danny raised an eyebrow as he stared where Deadpool went.
"Did he just call himse- Nevermind. I gotta find out if this Reverse guy is here…" Danny said as he hovered into the air, ready to look for this man.
Elsewhere, at Lake Eerie
A black bear was waiting for the right time to reach in and take a fish for dinner. After a moment, it reached in and managed to take a fish in its mouth. With that, it turned around and started to walk away, only to hear something. It sounded like a groan.
The bear snarled with the fish in its mouth as it walked in that direction.
Past a few trees was a man laying face down in the grass, with some smoke coming off his yellow suit.
His eyes slowly opened, glowing red, as he sat up and shook his head.
"What the hell?" He asks himself before realizing he was nowhere near civilization. "Where am I?" He asks.
That's when he heard the growl. Turning his head, he saw the bear snarling as it stood up, baring its teeth while still carrying the fish.
Scoffing, the Reverse-Flash disappears in a zoom before a quick movement and something collides with the wild animal. This causes the bear to fall on its back, knocking the fish out of its mouth.
Looking up, to its horror, it saw the man in yellow vibrating violently, with eyes glowing a devilish red.
"Looking for something, Smoky?" He asks.
Feeling an unnatural sense of fear, the bear got up and ran, abandoning the fish it caught for its own safety. Scoffing in mockery, Thawne kicked the fish with enough force thanks to his speed back into the lake. However, doing this put a moment of strain on him, something that surprised him.
He took a knee, gritting his teeth in the process.
Damn… that explosion did more than I thought. Still… soon as I heal, I'll screw with Barry's life even more. He thought with a sadistic grin on his face.
The next part of GB and the Combatants, this time featuring a villain as the new guy.
Eobard Thawne, the Reverse-Flash, one of the pettiest sociopaths ever made. So petty he dedicated himself to ruining the life of someone who died long before he was even born.
This one might be slow, because for October I wanna work on two other stories, but still. Might keep this short.
I wasn't entirely sure if it'd be him or Goku Black. Either way, Danny will be dealing with something a lot more terrifying than any ghost he's seen before.
Also, first time I used Deadpool in this series. Don't worry, he's not going to interrupt the author's notes like he does in the Many Dates stories.
Who else will show up? Wait and see.
