Hey guys! here I am once again (wait, that's the intro from Victorious right?)

If you have read my other story perhaps you read about how busy this week has been. If that's not the case, I started classes and as the teacher this first week has been sooo thrilling and chaotic!

Anyway here's the new one! lilies!

Still Waters: haha glad you loved it! I don't have pets, sadly. There was a dog when I was born but, there were a lot of difficult circumstances at the time so we left him with a loving family.

And when it comes to plants, I have killed like two :( but this last year I have been taking care of one and it has helped me a lot! and still alive!

Have you seen Shang Chi? I want to go, but a friend is getting married soon and I have to use my money for it so...

She remembers the first time Steve gave her flowers.

Natasha asked her during a conversation, which ones were her favorite flowers.

And Maria suddenly mentioned a lot of plants that she would love to grow in a garden. "Have you seen lilies? They are so beautiful, but I think they are high maintenance. At least for me."

While the Avengers seemed pretty surprised that she had such an interest in it, Steve was so thrilled by this information.

A day later some lilies appeared on her desk.

Pink lilies.

"Pink lilies stand for love, femininity and admiration..."

She had read that once in an article.

After two weeks of getting them, the Avengers left for a mission, and when they came back, Steve Rogers was waiting for Maria in her office. With a smile full of bruises and some red lilies on his hand.

"Would you go out with me?"

Maria holds on those memories during difficult times. This time Steve is nowhere to be found after a mission and could be hurt from what Natasha and Clint last saw.

Tony finds him with his satellites but they don't let her come to pick him up.

They let her see him when he is in a hospital room with a vase of flowers beside him.

Steve wakes up and smiles, but then he makes a face, because everything hurts.

"You scared me..."

"Wait. Give me the vase."

Maria frowns but doesn't protest and gets the flowers close to him.

"Forgive me for any trouble I might have caused."

She can't fight a smile when Steve takes a little lily out of the vase and extends it to her.

"Would you marry me?"
