Luckily for once the men kept their word to a woman and we were allowed onto our shuttle without incident.

Lyni paused, reading over the letter to Thire again, making sure that everything was there. Putting her hands back on the keyboard:

Be back soon. I miss you.

Lyni

A nod of satisfaction as she read it over again before she sent it. Hopefully it finds him well. Getting up she went to the Gym on this level to work out some tension while the Pandorians were settled down on the poles by Churchi, Fari, and a few troopers. Looking through the door Lyni found that Savage was attacking a drill mannequin with a different level of ferocity. "Care to spar with a living person?" she asked as she approached him.

He was only wearing loose pants leaving his feet and chest bare. Looking down at her, "Alright little one." Turning he grabbed a staff and tossed it to her before getting a good grip on his own.

Padding to a spot chosen she had removed her shoes but kept the loose tunic over her pants. They waited for a few moments before they burst into movement. Staffs hitting against each other as they sparred, and as usual Savage knocked Lyni flat before giving her a few pointers and going again.

They were still at it when Chrurchi and Fari found them three hours later. The two Pandorians watched the Dathomirian siblings as they swirled around each other and the sticks blurred before Savage flipped Lyni over his shoulder onto her back again. She rolled back to her feet and he started talking about different things and they both moved the staffs through a few things slowly as he seemed to talk about different points.

Fari was still watching them, trying not to note the well muscled form of Savage or the way his skin glimed under the sweat or patience he had while explaining something almost lovingly to his little sister. Surprisingly he ruffled Lynis hair in an affectionate way before Churchi spoke, "Good practice?"

All of a sudden the warmth and empathy was gone and the stony faced Savage was back, ready for anything. Lyni straightened like he did but managed a smile at them as she answered, "If you mean I continued my education of bruises with the best warrior in the village then yes." Nodding to them, "Are your colonists well?"

Chruchi nodded, "Yes, they are all ready to start." Glancing between Fari and the man at Lynis shoulder, "I think we should wait for at least two more days to ensure everything is heading in the right direction before going back to Corisant."

Lyni bowed her head, "Very well." Looking to Savage, "I believe it is nearly time to you to go to the Ascension." He nodded, squeezed her shoulder, and headed out of the hallway. They noticed he pulled on his shirt and grabbed his spear before he left. Explaining to the Pandorians, "The ascension is when a Male goes through the ceremony of manhood, and Savage was invited by Slaughter," seeing the surprise at the word, "the leader of the tribe we negotiated with, to go to the Ascension tonight."

Looking at her Fari asked, "Are only males invited?"

Lyni bowed her head in acknowledgement, "Traditionally yes." Changing the subject, "Would the two of you like to have some dinner. I believe the mess hall will be ready by now." Turning she headed towards the showers, "I'll just clean up first alright?"

"Take your time." Riyo answered to the retreating back. Looking over at her friend who was still glancing at where Savage disappeared and blushing, "He is well muscled isn't he?"

Ilonia jumped, "He is a savage Dathomarian." It was an automatic line.

"He doesn't seem to be one around Lyni or us." A grin, "He carried you over the bog remember?"

Bushing a deeper blue at the reminder, "He also carried you over." Glancing at her smaller friend, "And I was more like luggage on his shoulder than you were."

Grinning at her friend, "If you say so." Quietly, "But I could hear your heart from here when we came in and saw them sparing."

"I was concerned for Lyni!" Ilonia protested, "She is so much smaller than him."

"Yes, he has big muscular arms to be wrapped up in." Looking at each other they grinned.
