An hour later found Lyni walking into the Broken Horn and looked around trying to find a good place to sit. Picking a table in the back which also backed into a corner so that she could focus on the rest of the restaurant she headed toward it and sat down. Settling back she scanned the mixed clientele in the large space with its mix of tables that seemed to include every humanoid race she gained a feel of the rhythm. It was essential to get the rhythm of a new place in order to know if something goes wrong.

Soon a graceful blue Twi'lek female headed towards her. Shorter than Lyni she seemed to be only a year or two older and a little timid when she spoke, "What can I get you miss?"

Looking at her with a piercing gaze, "Four menus and a glass of water will do until my friends arrive."

Nodding at her, "Very good miss." Then the Twi'lek hurried away from her. Recognizing the signs of relief Lyni closed her eyes momentarily, the curse of being Dathmarian.

When the waitress brought her glass of water and the menus Lyni thanked her, then settled back to wait. Churchi, Fari, and Amidala were in a meeting which should have ended by now but some Senators like to talk and this is a ten minute ride in a speeder. Which made the fact they were not there yet plausible, and not just because they changed their minds about meeting with her.

Something caught her eye in the front of the room. The glint of medal, as if a weapon was concealed. Focusing more on the continuous scans of the room that were so engrained that they happened even when she wasn't paying attention she found more suspicious bulges that could be concealed weapons. Mentally shaking her head, she was getting sloppy.

Those who had the suspicious bulges were obviously not used to sitting around and waiting for a fight. They had similar bearings to some of the brothers in the village who were called to listen to one of the Elders stories and did so out of respect but wanted to be doing something else. Bounty hunters had that same bearing. Remaining her outward appearance of waiting for her friends she casually leaned on her knees and messaged Thire about the suspicion of Bounty Hunters being so close to the Senate. She had promised to keep him updated when she told him about the lunch plan.

Looking towards the door she saw two more Bounty Hunters come in. Who could possibly need eight Bounty Hunters who seem bored? Keeping an eye on the door she got up and started walking forward towards the center of the room, seeming to head towards the bathroom. A signal was made and the Bounty Hunters turned towards her but she was ready.

Kicking over a table she sent it in the knees of the two at the door, grabbing a chair in the same motion she threw it directly into two more. Spinning she went down on one knee to avoid the shots of the other four that went wide and picked up another table that she used at a battering ram to knock those four off their feet and trap them in the back of the room. In the few seconds that she had she pushed the small Twi'lek waitress toward the door and yelled, "Get everyone out!"

Not waiting to see if the girl listened she saw a Bounty Hunter getting up and jumped to tackle them before rolling off to kick another one in the face. Grabbing another chair she threw it into the two at the door who were trying to grab one of the regs who were running to get out. Kicking a fifth in the face to bring them down the four behind the wall started shooting which she dove out of the way of.

Until she picked up another chair and launched it at them which they dived to avoid. Hearing the last of the regs leaving she also heard a whistling sound, and spun in time to catch the durasteel bar that was heading straight for her neck and shoulders. Twisting it out of Bounty Hunters hands a wave of power came and she tore it in half before spinning the steel out in each of her hands like two halves of a staff. Smiling like a cat with its prey, "Now that was a mistake."
