Merlins spell was still in full effect and so Saber had what could only be called a screen in front of her, luckily for her, she wasn't the only one that could see it and because all of the servants and knights knew about Merlin's magic none of them said anything when they saw her walking past them with it.

She wanted to continue to watch what the three of them did next but she had things to do and so with a wave of her hand, she dispersed Merlin's magic and went back to work.

[Arturia]

From the very beginning, she had decided to throw away her past, after all, she had killed her son with her own lance.

She had already been a king, but there was another her in this place, in this time.

She wanted to be an ordinary woman and do what ordinary women did, the thing is it's only now that she realizes that she has no idea what ordinary women do.

Her experience told her that ordinary women were supposed to knit, cook, and take care of the house, while keeping their families social standing and yet before her eyes, Aqua is doing none of that.

The girl had summoned two small fans and began to perform tricks for the people to enjoy, she had sung certain songs that drew people to her and dance in a way that caught everyone's eyes.

At her feet were the coins the men threw at her, and in her left hand was a mug filled with ale, while in her left hand she held a small paintbrush that went up and down as she finished the painting of a woman holding her son.

The crowd cheered as they gazed at the masterpiece, for the first time in years she felt completely out of place.

Arturia Pendragon the Lion King, the King of Camalot, the Lance of Britain actually felt insignificant next to the girl who drank without a care in the world.

She was about to say something when she noticed that Kazuma gave his mug of ale to a man passing by, however, he traded his mug for the empty one the man carried with him.

There wasn't any danger, not as long as she was around, and because one of the knights that were usually inside the castle no one would dare to attack or attempt anything and yet the man refused to enjoy himself, instead he kept a close eye on the girl and she performed for the crowd.

"Aqua, aqua, aqua" the people chanted and for a brief moment Arturia swore she saw streams of mana flowing into the girl from the people around her.

"It's as if she wasn't human," the guard said to her as he watched the scene in front of him, until now the man had kept his head covered with his helmet but he removed it the moment he finished talking

Arturia noticed that the man had short red hair, light skin, and light brown eyes.

"Sorry but I don't know how to talk to you, you're supposed to be an or the older version on the king but," he said to her but Arturia silenced him with one look.

"Call me Artura, or miss I'm not a king anymore," she said to him

"Sorry, I'm Shiroe Emiya, so if you don't mind me asking what are you planning on doing from now on?" Shiroe asked her

Arturia only continued to watch the scene in front of her before answering.

"In all honesty, I don't know. Right now I think I'll stay with them until the time comes we go our separate ways" Arturia answered Shiroe

"I think it's time we should go check out this rabbit, " Kazuma said to them as he called Aqua over to them, yet as she left the cheering crowd behind Arturia noticed Mordred searching for them amongst the crowd.

As she walked amongst the people Arturia had to admit she the emotions she was going there were strange, she had walked around her old city before, but on those occasions, she had been king and the people treater her like it, or she was marching off to war.

It didn't matter if she was going to do politics or lead her army didn't matter the results were the same, her people looked at her with a combination of pride and fear.

Now however the men looked at her with desire and curiosity, the women, however, looked at her with suspicion.

As she walked she felt the dirt and stone road beneath her shoes, and she smelled the odor of her city, it was a combination of sweat, dirt, wet stone and wood and hay.

They were all unpleasant and yet, within those smells, she melled the light hint of honey, milk, freshly cooked meat, baked bread, and all of the fragrances that were pleasing to the senses.

Her city was a combination of pain and pleasure, comfort, and discomfort.

She was once alone inside her castle completely separated from the world, before there were few people around her, but for all of her grandeur, she was completely alone.

Now she could barely walk without bumping shoulders with other people and yet she felt completely alone.

As she walked behind Kazuma and Aqua she noticed the complete difference between them and herself.

Neither of them cared for the world around them and despite having gone through obvious dangers and troubles nither of them seemed to care, it was as if the two of them felt that as long, as they had one another nothing, could go wrong.

They finally left the city behind and found themselves in the fields beyond.
