Disclaimer: I do not know Legend of Korra or Bones.
Personally, I'm a Makorra and Bosami shipper, but I respect Korrasami.
Korra's voice actress, Janet Varney, appeared in an episode of Bones, 'The Bones That Foam',where she played a car saleswoman.
Cars and Korra? A perfect idea for a Korrasami fic!
Ace is a term used to describe a customer that signs on the first offer. Very profitable for the car dealership.
"I can't believe I have to wear this." Korra grumbled, arms crossed. "I'm pretty sure the customers only bought the cars because I wear shorts shorter than my underpants and my cleavage is about to burst free."
Her job as a satomobile sells-woman for 'Jungle Jin's', a safari-themed car dealership, required her to wear a skimpy camouflage uniform. But Korra had other problems besides the ridiculous costume. She was in a fierce competition against Tahno to be employee of the month.
Make the most sales or get fired!
Their boss's words.
"Jerk." She muttered angrily.
Just then, a fancy satomobile pulled up at the entrance of the car dealership. The vehicle's door opened, and a beautiful woman stepped out.
Korra felt her heart had stopped.
She ducked behind a cutout of Jungle Jin and his spoiled rat-monkey, peeping from the edge, staring big-eyed at the gorgeous woman approaching.
"Oh, Jin…" The woman moaned, making a face of disgust at the cut-out. "Of all the tackiness you went for, nothing is worse than your slogan. We don't sell cars…"
"…we sell adventure!" Korra finished as she suddenly stepped out from behind the cutout, breaming with new confidence.
The woman jumped in surprise, raising her arm up to hit Korra until she saw her properly.
Korra laughed the shock and nervousness off. "So, what can the Mighty Korra do for you today? You look like a sleek, two-door kinda lady."
The woman stared at her, a light red streak glowed across her pale face.
"Actually, I already have a Satomobile."
She pointed to her very nice satomobile outside. Korra leaned forward, craning her neck, looking impressed.
"I'll say. That ride's a honey. Roomy enough to have a ProBending party back there." She complimented, playing her strategy by acting friendly with the customers and sweet talking them. "But I can offer you a sweet deal for a trade up." She leaned against the blue satomobile right behind her, giving the woman a full view of her voluptuous body in its snug uniform. "From the heart of the jungle."
Korra winked at the woman, growling playfully.
The gorgeous woman blushed as red as her satomobile outside. But after a minute, she smiled.
"On second thought, I would like a new satomobile."
"Well, what do you like?" Korra asked.
The woman eyed her.
"Something blue."
Korra blushed.
After a long while of negotiating (and flirting), Korra managed to sell the brand-new blue satomobile to the beautiful woman.
"Your new satomobile will be ready tomorrow."
"Great. I'll come at 6 to pick it up."
"…I finish work at 6."
"Oh really? How convenient. See you tomorrow."
The woman handed Korra the contact. She growled back at her, winked, and turned around, the skirt of her red dress swinging.
Korra stared after her with a blush and a goofy smile.
Her coworker and rival, Tahno, strolled up with her with a sneer, also wearing a less censored, male-version of the store's uniform. "Why are you so happy?"
She turned to him, still smiling. "I got a sale and a date! Can't beat that!"
"Oh, really? Who's the sap?"
"Her."
Korra pointed a finger. In its direction, the woman got into her satomobile and put on her sunglasses. Before she left, she waved at Korra.
Tahno almost had a stroke when he saw the woman. "Her? You sold a satomobile to her?"
"Yeah. She's a knockout."
"That's Asami Sato!" He screeched.
The smile dropped from Korra's face.
"Sato? As in Satomobile?" She asked.
"Yes! She makes every every satomobile here!"
Korra blinked. "You're messing with me."
"If you sold her a satomobile, look at her signature!"
Korra scanned the contract throughly. Sure enough, 'Asami Sato' was written at the bottom in perfect cursive letters.
"It could be a fake name."
"Here!"
Tahno shoved three magazines in her face. All three were prominent Satomobile magazines, each presenting the beautiful Asami Sato on the glossy cover.
(Korra nearly drooled over the one where she was in a swimsuit.)
"See? You served Asami Sato!" Tahno cried, still shocked.
Korra was also shocked. She was too busy working and flirting with real people to even glance at a magazine.
"Why would the Asami Sato buy a satomobile when she can simply make one? What is she doing here at a tacky, little dealership?"
"Jungle Jin was supposed to have a meeting with her, but she showed up late!"
"What did she want to see Jin for?"
"I don't know. Something about selling lemons… I don't get it. We sell motors, not fruit."
"She must've got distracted by…" Korra trailed off in a startlingly realisation.
"You." Tahno finished.
She and Asami Sato have a lot to talk about tomorrow night.
