The sound of someone knocking at the door woke her up and as she opened her eyes Arturia noticed that a young girl handed Kazuma three buckets of hot water and six rags.

She was about to say something when she noticed Aqua was already removing her clothes, it wasn't anything too important, but then she noticed that Kazuma was doing the same thing.

She had to bathe with the men before, however, on those occasions, they had either been training or at war, so none of them had removed their undersuit because none f them wanted to fight naked if they were ambushed.

"Hey you should take a bath while the water is hot," Kazuma said to her

"I'm still a woman" Arturia answered him

"So is Aua, but hot water is something that's rare in places like this and I'm already naked so either take a bath with hot water or don't" Kazuma answered her

Arturia had to admit she felt slighted as she looked down at her body, she had heard that men desired to sleep with her on so many occasions, but that was when she was king.

Granted hardly, no none of them so much as tried to woo her, but the fact that Kazuma was so quick to dismiss her body was an insult in its trues form.

"Kazuma I'm a woman," she said

"So is Aqua" he repeated as he scrubbed his head

"Am I" she was about to ask but

"He means we don't have time to look at each other, the water gets cold fast and who knows when we will get this chance again," Aqua said to her as she whipped her legs, Arturia noticed her legs somehow seemed to glitter, in fact, the woman's entire body was now shining as if saying this is perfection.

Arturia exhaled and removed her gown before she dipped her rag in the hot water squeezed it a little and began to wipe the filth off her body.

The moment the hot water touched her skin was amazing, she would have wanted to be able to have a hot bath in a tub filled with hot water, but she wasn't a noble so that was only a dream now.

"Here," Kazuma said to her and Arturia instantly tried to hide herself using her arms, and legs but when she turned around she noticed that Kazuma wasn't even looking at her.

The boy, no the man had his hand stretched out in her direction and in his hand, he held a strange bar.

"Its soap," Kazuma said to her.

Arturia was tempted to call the boy a liar but she noticed that Aqua had something similar to it next to her, the girl was using the dry rag to dry herself, so she decided to believe the boy.

They all soon stopped bathing and were soon dressed once again, the sounds from the outside world filtered into the room and Arturia knew that they would need to leave.

What they would do and how they would do it, was a different story, she didn't know any of that, regardless the three of them were about to leave the room when the world around them changed.

Arturia found herself standing inside a room that had no ceiling and the floor was nothing more than black and white squares.

"We don't have much time so listen and don't speak"

"Aqua explain this to them latter" a mans voice said to them, it was powerful yet kind

"The worlds have died and have been reborn"

"The abomination Guilgamesh overstepped his boundaries and paid the price for it, however, as things stand you two are stuck in that world until the effects of that device finally wear off"

"It was simply bad timing, Arturia you were caught up in the effects of the device, that these two came in contact with." the voice explained before that other world seemed to vanish and Arturia noticed that she was standing inside the room once again.

Arturia wanted to say something, anything but once again her words failed her.

"To keep your identities secret, I have granted Arturia her wish."

"No spell, no god, spirit, or man will be able to know that you are not Kazuma Pendragon and Aqua Pendragon"

The other world vanished and all that was left was their room, Arturia looked into Kazumas green eyes and watched as the boy exhaled.

"We used a magic device that a friend of ours had. It was supposed to send us to a world where things were the same but different" Kazuna said to her.

"And I somehow came in contact with its power when the world died," Arturia said as she remembered what the voice had said earlier.

"So the world I knew is gone," Arturia asked Kazuma, her chest now filling with fear and regret.

"Nope," Aqua interrupted.

"I doesn't work that way, if you want proof just look at Kazuma and look at your reflection" Aqua added.

"When a world dies it makes more than one copy of itself and it just starts over. How can people live if their world is dead?" Aqua tried and failed to explain.

"So does that mean that the original earth still exists?" Kazuma asked Aqua who just nodded.

Now she understood, if what the voice had said was true, then her world was destroyed but before it died, it made more copies of itself before being it was reborn once again.

"So does that mean the two of you are now my children?" Arturia sked the young man and woman and she noticed how quickly Kazuma turned to look at Aqua who just nodded.

"No spell, no god, no spirit, and no man will ever know that you are not Kazuma Pendragon and Aqua Pendragon" Arturia repeated, the words the god had spoken earlier.

A knock at the door caught their attention and destroyed the heavy atmosphere that had suddenly been created.

Arturia walked past Aqua and Kazuma and when she opened the door she found herself hidden beneath a cloak.

Saber immediately forced her way into the room and with her were three of her most trusted knights along with Shiroe

"I've come to speak to the three of you" Saber said to them as she looked at the buckets of dirty water that were placed on the corner of the room.

She removed the brown clock and allowed her long blond hair to be seen, Arturia looked at Saber and noticed that the woman's blue eyes now had a slight hint of green in them and despite the woman's cold words her eyes seemed to soften as she looked at Kazuma and Aqua.

"No"

Arturia said as she understood what Saber wanted. God himself had just granted her a family of her own and her foolish younger self wanted to separate them from her.

"Mordred remove your helmet" Saber ordered Mordred and the knight did as she was told.

If an outsider looked at them he would have claimed that the three of them were sisters or that Arturia was the mother, Saber was the eldest daughter and Mordred was the youngest, for they were all near-exact copies of each other.

"Aqua needs to learn to be a lady, she has no time to sing and dance with commoners," Saber said as she looked at Aqua before turning her attention to Kazuma.

"Kazuma is my only...our only son." those words seemed to hang in the air and Arturia gave a single step forward as her armor manifested itself around her.

Arturia had to give her younger self some credit as the woman didn't give a single step back as she brought her own armor to full display.

The two felt each other's hot breath and Arturia allowed herself to give her younger self a cold smile.

"You have a son" Arturia said to Saber, those words she wished someone had said to them earlier, maybe she could have avoided the tragedy.

It didn't matter anymore, the unspoken words had finally been spoken and as Arturia turned towards Mordred, she noticed how the girl trembled and lowered her head in shame.

"She is not a man" Saber answered Arturia

"Neither are we " Arturia answered Saber

"Kazuma" Saber began

"No' Kazuma immediately answered her, there was no hesitation in his voice

Saber turned her to look at Aqua but the girl hid behind Kazuma, Arturia watched as Saber let out a frustrated breath.

"Camalot needs a king and as far as the nobility is concerned he is the only option...however, " Saber began to explain but Arturia already knew what she would say.

"No" Arturia answered her younger self.

"I see...take them to the palace" Saber ordered her knights and Arturia suddenly found herself back at the center of the city, she turned to look behind her and she found Kazuma who was holding Aquas hand and had placed his hand on her back.

As usual, the people around her were quick to stay away from her and Arturia ran into anear by alley before dispersing her armor and summoning a dress.

The three of them ran towards the exit of the city even as the city bells rang, alerting the guards to lock the doors.

The guards would fail the three of them were just about to escape when flower petals drifted in front of them, the petal began to spin until they formed a small tornado.

When the tornado vanished, Arturia saw Merlin standing outside of the city, the mage of flowers smiled at her before gently hitting his staff on the ground and closing the doors in front of them.

"Kazuma the water!" Aqua screamed and Arturia felt Kazuma pull her towards a bucket of water nearby, the bucket glowed with power before aqua pulled them into it.

The last thing Arturia saw was merling smiling at her waving goodbye.
