Saber sat on her throne, it had already been a week since the three of them escaped and whatever power they used was somehow keeping Merlins' eyes away from them.
She held her head with her right hand.

The girl posed the ability to end droughts, heal injuries, and cure diseases, people are known to go to war for less.
Even now her scribes were working nonstop as they looked into all of the elderly that had suddenly regained their bigger.
There were men both knights and commoners who had entire limbs restored and were back on their feet either plowing the fields, their wives, or swinging their swords once more.
Saber had to admit that it did pain her that neither of Arturia's children inherited her dragon core, but in exchange for it, they had gained their father's aptitude for magic.
Arturia herself was a threat, for starters, the woman looked almost exactly like her, granted there were some differences but that didn't matter.

"Father," Mordred said to her and Saber turned her attention to Mordred, the girl could become King, but her expertise was in war, she failed to be a good leader during peace, she had the will but not the heart of a king.

"Come here " Saber ordered her daughter and as Mordred walked up to her Saber rose from her throne and walked up to Mordred.
Saber placed her right hand on the girl's cheek and smiled warmly at her.
"Sit" she orderd Mordred
"I like warm milk and soft white bread," Saber said to the girl who looked at her with a confused expression, it was only when they both sat on the steps to her throne that Mordred understood what Saber meant
"I like roasted meat and wine" Mordred proudly answer her
"I like to train with wooden swords and see my friends improve," Saber said to her daughter
"I like singing with everyone when we drink together" Mordred answered her, but her with a genuinely happy expression
Saber gently brought Mordred's head onto her shoulder.
"I can't make you king, you don't have the heart Mordred" saber said to her daughter in a soft yet kind voice
"I'm a man" Mordred answered her
"And no one is arguing that" Saber answered her
"Why?' Mordred asked Saber
"What will you do when there's peace," saber asked Mordred, but try as she might Mordred couldn't answer.
Saber felt Mordred tightened hands wrapped around her and soon the girl was sobbing in her arms, for better or worse Mordred now understood why and Saber hated herself for it.
"You are a good knight... one of the best I have ever seen."
"There is a way that you can rule over Britain, but your crown will not be that of a king, it will have to be the crown of a queen," Saber said to Mordred and the girl became silent.
"You ar king" Mordred said
"Under special circumstances, on any other occasion, everyone would refer to me as Queen" Saber answered Mordred
"Cant I do the same?" Mordred asked Saber and Saber hugged the girl carefully
"No, because the people would be divided. If I made you king, then that would mean that I would only want women to rule."
"The next ruler has to be a man, and if the one that follows is a woman then so be it, the throne would be open for the person that is best suited for ruling the kingdom " Saber answered Mordred
"I can remain at your side as a knight?" Mordred asked saber but her words were a question rather than a statement.
"Yes, but the moment the people know about our resemblance, you and Kazuma will be wed to one another" Saber answered Mordred
Mordred suddenly sat up straight and looked at Saber with a shocked expression her pain was all too clear, as her eyes didn't have any of the strength they normally would have had.
"Being king or Queen means making decisions that you will hate yourself for."
"This is one of them"
Saber looked at Mordred as the servants began to enter the throne room and began to refill the oils that kept the fire in the lamps inside the throne room.
"Separate Aqua from Kazuma, prove to him you are better suited to be at his side" Saber ordered Mordred
"No" Mordred said to Saber
"You must before another woman does it. The kingdom will need a child" Saber said to Mordred and the girl ran out of the throne room
"Did you have to be so hard on her" Merlin said to Saber as he removed the invisibility spell he had cast on himself.
"If she can't handle this much, then she can never rule anything" Saber answered Merlin
"All that is left is to see what she does next," Merlin said to Saber as his spell activated and the two of them could see the three strays once again
