Chapter 1: ~SUNDAY-SUNDAY-SUNDAY!~

'Whoo, what a day!' Chat Noir of course was referring to the excitement he experienced earlier that day; his trip to the wax museum with his friends turned into quite the adventure…

First, he spent most of the time running around worried about if Marinette liked him or not, then Puppeteer struck again, making all the villain figurines of the museum come to life. Luckily Ladybug showed up and together they were able to stop Manon; afterwards, Adrien was even able to repair -what he thought was broken- his friendship with Marinette.

"Today was a great day!" It didn't take long for Chat Noir to reach their meeting spot for patrol, they were meeting at the Trocadéro tonight. As far as he knew, it was going to be a quick look around, considering the akuma from earlier…

He was wrong.

When he touched down on the surface, he barely had time to put his staff away before he got tackled, "Bugaboo?" Ladybug had buried her face in Chat's chest, and the sound she was making made it seem as if she was whining? No, crying?

Chat at first was hesitant, but the longer she sobbed, he slowly tucked his arms around her, one claw on her back with the other in her hair, "What's wrong? What happened?"

"He said there's someone else he loves!" She had lost the love of her life; he could count how many times he had cried about her over the years. Ladybug placed her hands on his pecs, punching him lightly as Marinette did when Adrien had tricked her earlier that day.

"It's okay Buga- Ladybug, I know it hurts now, but time heals all and you'll be able to move on eventually..." Caressing her pigtails until Ladybug's crying was halted as well as her sniffles; even through her blurry vision she could make out Chat's expressional irises. "I don't know what you're going through exactly, but I'm here for you." He held her tighter.

It was now that she realized just how close they were as she wiped her mask with the back of her hand then stared up at her partner. The way he was holding her was so caring, his eyes were so sincere. Ladybug took hold of Noir's collar and pulled him down closer, she slammed herself back into his chest and began to weep again. Chat's only response was to hold her tighter, "You'd never reject me, right?"

Marinette had made a huge fool of herself all day, which was nothing new from her normal day, but today was rough. She had unintentionally gotten a concrete answer to a question she didn't know she had; however, Marinette found it ironic that in all the chaos she had all intention to confess but ended up with more than she bargained for.

"He's in love with someone else…"

Wiping her face against Chat's cool leather suit, Ladybug shook her head trying to get the memories away; she wanted the pain gone. Hearing his voice -his admission- in her head made her die a little inside -this whole time- all the effort, the longing, the planning; all gone within an instant.

In the heat of the moment Ladybug took a stronger hold of Chat Noir, bringing him down to her level. First, she calmed herself by inhaling deeply then slowly breathing out. "Yo-you still love me, right?"

"M-M'lady-" Chat was cut off with a kiss, softly at first then it deepened as she tugged more on his collar, which did not bode well when Chat unfortunately had the taste of snot on his lips. Taking a deep breath, Noir held his partner at her hips, slightly pushing her away. The struggle was real, and Ladybug was reluctant.

As petite as Ladybug was, she was strong when she wanted to be. Ladybug unconsciously started shoving Noir backwards, eventually hitting a surface; Chat yelped in surprise allowing LB to take advantage of his stunned confusion by engulfing his mouth with hers. "M'la-!"

Pushing Chat Noir further into the wall; Ladybug replaced her hands around his neck, securing their stance. Bringing their pelvises closer together to get her point across; thrusting her tongue down his throat, he tried his best not to be clouded by lust, but she was very convincing.

Chat Noir slowly lowered his arms, trying once again, to force her off, but the sensation was too great. He took her hair in his claws and the other in the small of her back, weighing out if this was the best thing to ever happen to him or his worst nightmare. Finally giving in to his deepest desire, Chat Noir enjoyed this rarest phenomenon.

'This isn't like her, this is not my Ladybug, she's in love with someone else and she makes a point in telling me every time I bring it up. Could this be another senti-monster? She doesn't feel like one, OMG she feels so good, -wait- gotta focus! Okay think, why is she doing this, what did she say?'

"You still love me, right? He's in love with someone else! You'd never reject me, right…"

'Oh… I get it now, that's why… I knew she'd never love me and I don't think she ever will. Sorry M'lady, but I can't do this…'

Chat remorsefully stopped this impromptu make out session by attaching onto her shoulders and turning his head so she wouldn't try and catch his lips again. "I'm sorry M'la- Ladybug, but we shouldn't be doing this…"

The look on her face was daunting, he didn't want to stop; he wanted to be pressed up against a stone wall and lavished to death by his partner, ripping each other's suites off until there was nothing left but their masks and weapons, but he couldn't. Not now, nor ever.

Ladybug collected herself, feeling her flustered cheeks as she calmed down, "What the matter?"

Scratching the back of his head, "I'm sorry, but I don't think it's the best time for this, I mean you just got your heart broken and now you are coming after me? I wouldn't be right taking advantage of you, especially when it's not me you really want…"

"Taking advantage?"

"-And I feel that in your current state of depression it may have caused you to-"

Peeling herself away from Chat, Ladybug covered her mouth, with a gasp, "It seems that I've lost my chances with you too… I've missed all my chances!"

She rushed to the other side of the building, hugging herself tightly. He watched as she returned to crying. While displaying her best fake smile; she hiccupped, "I guess that would be kinda messed up for me to just expect you to wait forever, you have your own life to live after all. I mean of course who wouldn't fall for you, except me that is."

"Ladybug, you know that I'll always be here for you and that I'll keep you safe. I care for you deeply, but I honestly don't feel that this is the best time for this-" He returned his claw to the back of his head, "I mean I'm not really with anyone right now- W-we can sit and talk about it-" Chat hesitantly ambled back over towards her side, only to have Ladybug move out of the way just in time, "Wait, where are you going?"

Reaching down at her side, Ladybug retrieved her yo-yo, "I'm so so sorry, you're absolutely right! I need to go, thanks for comforting me and I'm sorry for kissing you." Then she frantically threw it in the air to go anywhere else that wasn't here. "Congratulations on your new relationship, I hope she makes you very happy."

"Ladybug, wait!" However, he was just out of reach of her yo-yo string.

✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿Marinette's Room✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿

As far as Marinette's parents knew, she was out with friends; so when she came home with her face flushed and wet from the burning tears still streaming down her cheeks; her mother encouraged her father not to pry. Stating that she'll tell them when she was ready, or never at all if that's what Marinette wished.

The hormonal heart of a teenager is fickle and unfortunately a part of growing up, "Whatever it is that is troubling her, she needs to figure it out; as long as we're here to support and guide her, I think she'll be fine…" Sabine stated as she and Tom wandered back downstairs after leaving tea and cookies on Marinette's desk, and saying their goodnights.

Once the trap door was closed and steps could no longer be heard, Tikki came out her hiding spot, "Marinette?" She didn't respond, only dug her face deeper into her kitty pillow, crying harder. "Marinette please, I know things seem hard right now, but I need you to calm down, you don't want to be-"

"Tikki, please, I know what you're going to say, and I honestly don't wanna hear it right now. I just wanna be sad without having to worry about a stupid akuma! I've lost Adrien, Luka, and now Chat Noir! I just feel like I'm not good enough…"

"That's not true Marinette, everyone loves you!" Tikki floated down to her desk then came back with a cookie, "I understand that things are crazy for you right now, but it's not the end of the world! Maybe you should-"

"Please Tikki, if you say 'relax', I'm going to scream." Marinette ignored her stomach as Tikki munched on a cookie near her ear, "Is it too much to ask for a little bit of normalcy in my life? I mean I'm Ladybug all the time and even though I don't need a boyfriend, I'd still like to be able to share things with someone. Someone who understands what I'm going through, a true companion…"

"What about Alya? She knows your biggest secret now, you can talk to her about anything, more so than ever! And just because Chat Noir pushed you away, doesn't mean he rejected you." Tikki did a twirl in hopes that could maybe cheer her up, but it was no use.

Tikki was right though, as always, Marinette angrily sat up, "Alya is wonderful, I couldn't ask for a better friend, but she doesn't understand what I'm going through!" Marinette stopped and thought for a second, "I mean she does but she doesn't. She's got a boyfriend, and I'm tired of being everyone's 'friend'; I want more. I can't bring myself to form two words around Adrien, I got with Luka in hopes that I'd be able to move on from Adrien, but I couldn't be completely honest with him! I've even thought about if I wasn't so obsessed with Adrien that I'd would've fallen for Chat Noir eventually, but I never gave him a chance. and now I've lost mine!" She finished by shoving one of her other pillows in her face.

If she was completely honest with herself, deep down there was always something that she did actually love about Chat. Now that the "Adrien clouds" were clear, Marinette could see what -or who- was really right in front of her the whole time. The one that's been supporting her, caring for her; loving her. Marinette brought her legs to her chest, before getting frustrated and roughing up her hair, "I'm so tired of this!"

The creation kwami swirled back towards Marinette, patting her face with her little flippers; smoothing her cheek, "I know it's hard, but please ca-"

"Being guardian means I have a duty to the miraculous, I get that, but what about my duty to myself -to my heart?" Marinette swiftly turned around and started punching her pillows, "I can't do this anymore; my life is ruined! I never wanted to do this in the first place and now I'm stuck doing this for the rest of my life! It's not fair!"

Tikki sped away from flying fists, looking very remorseful at her owner's harsh words, "Do you honestly think that being Ladybug is ruining your life? Do you think that I'm ruining your life?" Tikki's voice crackled as her tiny baby eyes started to fill up with tears.

Marinette glanced up at her magical friend, taken back by the sight of Tikki's hurt little feelings, she made her feel that way. "I'm sorry Tikki, I didn't mean- What I was trying to say was- It's not like that-" She couldn't find the words, granted what she said was somewhat the truth, however her execution was much to be desired. Mari quietly apologized before retreating up her skylight and out into the cool outside.

When Marinette reached the railing, she stuffed her head in her arms, 'Great now Tikki's mad at me…' She huffed loudly, 'Adrien's a dumbass, Luka is understanding but I can't be honest with him and Chat Noir probably hates me now too…'

"Evening Princess…"

'Speak of the devil.'

Sure enough, he appeared scaling the railing. "Chat it's late, 'No it isn't' don't you have another fence you could caterwaul off of? 'Or another trashcan I can throw you into?'" Marinette realized she spat that out with disgust; still upset about being rejected earlier. Chat had his head so far in the clouds he didn't seem to notice.

"Yeah, I know, sorry to bother you Marinette," His disposition was unusual, he seemed confused and disheveled, his foot was tapping rapidly on the floor, and he didn't know what to do with his hands, "Normally I wouldn't do this, but I needed someone to talk to and well since it's you, I feel like I can trust you with this…"

'Why don't you go talk to your new girlfriend?' Marinette rolled her eyes, "Sure, it's not like I have anywhere to go or a boyfriend to go out with…" She slumped herself over the railing, closer to him. "So, what's the matter?"

Twiddling his fingers, Chat nervously spoke, "It's about Ladybug…"

'Great of all the things he wants to discuss in the middle of the night, it's not like Chat knew that I was there for the whole time.'

Noir glanced over, waiting for a sign for him to continue, "After all this time, all the flowers, canceled dates, and rejections; senpai finally FINALLY noticed me!" Marinette raised an eyebrow in confusion, which frustrated Chat.

"She kissed me! Ladybug kissed me then she tried to jump my bones and then she told me that she wants to be with me! Can you believe it?" He began to pace in a circle, while waving his hands around.

'Hey now, I don't remember stating that I wanted to be with him, necessarily. Wait? Am I feeling jealousy towards myself?'

Marinette squinted at her company, waiting for the rest of the story; she perked up when she realized that he was done. "No, I can't! That's awesome news, but are you bragging or stating a fact?" Her sarcasm was dripping everywhere, still unnoticed by Chat; even when she elbowed him in the arm. In all honesty, Marinette was not amused at all, bored was more like it; "So…what's the problem? Sounds like a win-win to me, unless you have a girlfriend or something?"

"What? NO! I don't know why she thought that either; I don't have a girlfriend -anymore…- Which I was about to tell Ladybug, but she yo-yoed off before I got a chance to explain." He rubbed his face with his claws and groaned, "Look, I know the only reason she was doing any of that was because she was upset that she got rejected by this guy she's obsessed with."

'Guy she's obsessed with?! You arrogant furball!' Marinette resisted the urge to punch him but cleared her throat instead. "What was wrong with that?"

"'You should never leave the one you love for the one you like because the one you like will leave you for the one, they love…' If she wanted to be with me, like really wanted to be with me; then she should've told me how she felt, but now it's just weird…" Chat outstretched his arms to lean against the bar, "I love Ladybug and I would do anything to be with her, but she doesn't love me, and probably never will, I know that…"

Noir was staring at Marinette, who appeared uninterested and aloof about the conversation. "If you still have feelings for her and you don't have a girlfriend, then what's wrong with her kissing you, isn't that what you've always wanted?"

Nervously scratching his head, "Well yeah it is -er- was, I mean I still want that, but I want her to love me for me and not because someone else rejected her. I didn't want to be her rebound…" Chat placed his elbow on the railing and sighed, "Life's not fair…"

"But isn't it nice to be wanted, at least in some kinda way?" Chat sprung up, looking at Mari as she dangled herself over the railing.

"Yes, but isn't it bad enough to be a second choice? How would that make you feel knowing that the person you love is only with you because they couldn't be with the one they really love? That's not right for the second party." Chat soon joined Marinette's position, slumped over the banister.

Marinette pushed herself off the railing holding it tightly in her hands, her arms were outstretched in front of her, "How do you know that's what she's doing, what if she finally wised up and realized that you were the one for her? You're the one that's been by her side from the very beginning, and she wouldn't be Ladybug without you! What if she wanted to tell you how she felt in hopes that you still felt the same way and was willing to give her a chance, but then you broke her heart!" Pacing to and fro, Marinette saw herself waving her arms around like a crazed maniac, she placed herself back next to Noir, "Or you know, if you can't be with the one you love, then love the one you're with…?"

Chat was terrified, his Marinette was not acting like her normal calm self, ordinarily Marinette would be the one you seek out for good advice. When it comes to social events or ways to hang out with friends, she always had good ideas for a fun time, but tonight she was kind of off.

Taking an opportunity to glance at the rest of his friend, Chat noticed her appearance; she was dressed in her pajama tank, matching shorts and cute kitty slippers. However, her hair was down and messy; her normal cheery disposition seemed disoriented and rigid, she also appeared sluggish and agitated. "Mari, are you okay?"

"Yes!" She lunged forward, then retracted herself, "No… I'm not sure…" Marinette felt her fatigue get the better of her, she squatted down then leaned her forehead against the bars, "I don't…really feel good…"

Chat grasped his baton to check the time then squatted down along with Marinette, he turned to sit down with his back against the bars, "Talk to me Princess…"

"Don't judge me…" Eventually Marinette sat down along with Chat on the ground, "Okay… so for the longest time I've had this huge crush on this guy in my class, and I've been trying to tell him how I feel, but I just can't. No matter how hard I try…" Marinette brought her knees up to her chest, "And now he's dating another girl and I've lost my chance."

Chat watched as Mari buried her face in her legs, he heard her breathing hitch as she was trying to resist from crying again, "Really? Everyone loves you! You're so outspoken and confident, you don't take crap from anyone; I mean you've helped take down akumas in the past, and you of all people can't talk to a boy?"

He scooted closer to put an arm around her back, "Does he have Medusa eyes or something?" He chuckled. "I'm sorry, I just can't imagine you having trouble talking to anybody."

"You don't understand, it's different with Adrien…"

"Wh-What…?"

"When we first met, we almost didn't become friends, but after we ugh 'shared a moment' I found myself head over heels coo coo nutty for the guy."

"Wh-what did y-you say h-his name w-was again?" He asked nervously, taking his arm back.

"*sigh* Don't laugh and if you do, I'll drop kick your ass off this balcony!" Marinette raised her fist to Chat Noir's face, showing off her knuckles.

He raised his hands in defense, "See that's what I mean! How do you have trouble talking to a boy, especially….?" Rotating his wrist, signaling her to continue.

Marinette roughed up her already disheveled hair, "Ugh Adrien, okay? I'm in love with Adrien Agreste!" Her whole body slumped over into Chat's lap, defeated. "I'm such a loser!"

'Marinette, you're in love with me? Why didn't she tell me? Why didn't I ever notice?'

Chat was surprised when her head landed in his crotch, his mind was still on her unofficial confession, he gently placed his claw in her hair before turning his head away and scoffed, "Heh never pictured you for a fangirl…" Which received him a punch in the gut. "Ow damn girl! Why can't you talk to this dude again?"

Marinette sat up in a huff, her brows were angry, and her lips were pouted. "Don't call me that! I'm not his 'fangirl', I'm his…I'm his nothing but a 'good friend'..." She recovered herself, "If anything I was a 'fangirl' of his dad…" Mari looked over to witness a cringey Chat, "Not like that you lecherous cat! His dad is my idol, Gabriel Agreste; the fashion designer, but I didn't know that when I met Adrien. I didn't care about his dad, or that he was rich and famous; I fell for him because he forgave me for being a bitch."

Chat continued to sit while he rubbed his tummy, "What do you mean? I don't remember you being a bi-, I mean I don't recall you ever being a bitch…"

"It was a big misunderstanding." Marinette slowly rose to her feet only to take her place back at the balcony, leaning on the rails. "It was raining that day, and after he apologized, he gave me his umbrella… and something happened when he handed it to me." Marinette brought her right hand to her face to examine it, "It was like he was looking deep into my soul, reading every thought I had, and all of them were about him."

Chat hopped up on his feet and began to walk over to Marinette, "He only sees me as a friend, and it's my own fault for not making a move. I thought that over time he'd see all the things I did for him and magically fall in love with me or something, but instead he ended up falling for someone else." Marinette continued her descent by bending over the bar rail and placing her chin on her crossed arms, "But it looks like my senpai will never notice me either…"

'Wow, what are the chances that both Marinette and Ladybug are in love with someone who doesn't return their feelings? Boy, I can relate.' Leaning over, Chat propped his elbow on the railing, holding his head on his knuckles. "Wh-what kinda stuff did you do for him?"

Marinette signed as she dropped her head and arms, groaning loudly. "Y'know, curiosity killed the cat, kitty…"

"And satisfaction brought him back." He then hopped himself on the banister, with a very intrigued look on his face.

Marinette sighed, roughing up her hair even more, "I don't know, lots of things. I'm actually the one that helped him get together with his girlfriend, I helped him dodge a crowd of crazed fans one day, we ended up going to the movies, kinda. I gave him a bracelet, I made that myself for good luck… I've made him gifts…"

Chat reached into his suit pocket to finger his trinket, "Gifts? As in plural?"

"Yeah y'know, like many, some, more than one?" Marinette reached up and rubbed her temples, "Anyway, I got to "meet" his dad when he was hosting a derby hat competition for an upcoming fashion show. I won, but it sucked! My entry was made with feathers, which he was allergic to, but he wore it anyway."

Marinette folded her arms on the banister and sighed loudly, "I ended up fixing it with faux feathers, but that's how amazing he was. Despite him potentially being stuffed up and uncomfortable, he still wore something that I made, just to make me happy."

'Well allergy medicine helps, but yeah, I knew how hard you worked on that entry and having it almost stolen away by Chole, it was the least I could do for my friend!' Noir slowly put his charm back in its spot, removing his hand and going back to the conversation, "What else?"

Marinette began counting on her fingers, "I made him a Santa hat for Christmas, passion fruit macarons 'cause they're his favorite, a beret for his 5th names day…"

'St. Athanase day…?'

"On top of all the other presents I've made for him for the foreseeable future: birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's, even Arbor Day; that you didn't hear me say anything about and if you speak a word of any of this, I'll string you up by your tail!" Chat jumped back again, grabbing his tail in protest. When he felt that his person was no longer in danger, Marinette continued. "He helped modeled this unisex fashion line I created; that was an awesome day… Oh and a scarf for his birthday!"

"A-A s-scarf? Wh-what kind of scarf?"

"Y'know those things you wrap around your neck in the wintertime? Is that all you heard?!" Marinette deflated; angrily fisting her hip. Chat held his hands up to block any incoming attacks. "It was a cerulean scarf, I dropped it off at his house for his birthday, but for some reason he thinks it was from his dad… Even though I signed the card that time…"

"That time? Wa-was there another time that you-"

Marinette tucked a stray piece of her hair behind her ear then stuffed her face into her arms again, "Ugh it's so stupid, I wrote him a poem for Valentine's Day a couple years back and I stupidly forgot to sign the card!" Continuing to mope.

Chat Noir was starting to feel very overwhelmed; all this information being told to him; he shouldn't be hearing this. This was profoundly personal! All the lies from over the years, suddenly it all came to light. Her actions, the stuttering and fidgeting all made sense! He chuckled very uneasy. "Wh-what did it say, like 'Roses are red, Ladybug is too-'"

"Your hair shines like the sun, your eyes are gorgeous green.

I look at you and wonder, your innermost thoughts, and dreams.

Yes, your Valentine I will be, our love will be so true.

Together for eternity, my heart belongs to you."

"Y-you wrote that?" Chat quickly received two palms to his face to quiet him up so as to not wake her parents or the whole neighborhood. All this time he was thinking that by some hail Mary miracle that Ladybug might've written him that poem, but now…

"Shut it before you wake Hawk Moth up!" After Noir's freak out, Mari slowly pulled her hands away waiting for another outburst, but none came; she continued their conversation. "And to answer your question, yes I did write that poem," Marinette felt herself start to sniffle again, which brought Chat Noir back to her side. "I saw him writing a letter that I thought was for me, so I wanted to answer his letter with my own; but it never got to him or at least he didn't know it was from me. It was probably a good thing; it was a dumb idea."

'Your hair is dark as night, your pretty bluebell eyes...what made her think that letter was for her?' Chat cleared his throat before bringing his hand over her shoulder, "Macarons, scarfs, poems? Is there anything you can't do?" Chat glanced over to see Marinette rubbing her face up and down, she was on the verge of tears again, he listened as she began to sniffle.

"Princ-Marinette, please don't cry. I'm sure that for whatever reason he hasn't noticed you yet is because you're such a good fri- that pursuing a relationship with you would potentially damage your current status as fri- as you are. And ruining that 'relationship' would kill him inside." Chat forced her to face him, grasping her lightly, shaking her out of his own frustrations.

"Maybe he's never thought of you that way because he's too blinded by the harsh light of a fantasy that he can't see a real future with you. This guy is a coward for not giving you a chance; when you could be the best thing in his life, but he knows he's not good enough to live up to your expectations."

His hands placements, the stern certainty of his voice and those blasted emerald eyes, "Chat…" Mari felt like her eyes were really big, like in one of those animes Adrien always talked about; she still felt like crying.

"I-I mean I don't kn-know the guy, but I can tell you this," Chat slid his hand from her shoulders, down her arms and landed with her hands, grasping them and bringing them to his chest. "You deserve the world Marinette, and no one is worth your time until he's prepared to give you that!"

Frustrated, Marinette stole her hands away and fixed them at her side, "I don't want the world, I just want you Chat!" She quickly covered her mouth, "I-I mean Adrien... I want Adrien..." Marinette ran towards her roof chair, sat down then hid her face. Chat stood off to the side, letting Marinette have a minute to herself, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell; I don't know what came over me. It was like for a second you were- never mind."

"Like I was who Mari?" Noir walked over to where Marinette was and kneeled down in front of her. "Like I was Adrien?"

Groaning loudly, Marinette slumped back in her seat; soon to have Chat swished his tail, forcing Marinette to scoot over. As he took a seat next to her; he placed a hand on her knee, joining her in the misery. "We're just two halves of a ball of mess…"

Marinette hooked her left arm around Chat's right, snuggling her cheek into his bicep, "A 'yarn' ball of mess…" For the first time that night they both had a nice good decent laugh.

This wasn't where he thought this conversation would go; Marinette was opening up more about her love life. Out of all the times they've hung out, they never talked about that "mysterious boy" she was in love with, which was him the whole time, apparently. Honestly, who wouldn't mind hearing all the nice things a person thinks about you? Especially your cute, talented, baker friend, 'Wait, cute?'

Once the giggles had died down, Marinette interlaced her fingers with Chat Noir, "Hey look you shouldn't worry about Ladybug so much, she was just in a bad place and was looking towards her partner for comfort. I'm sure she didn't mean to make you...uncomfortable?"

Marinette began to stroke Noir's arm up and down, "And who knows, maybe now that her blinders are off, she's ready to see you as more than her partner," She poked his cheek, bringing his attention to her. "Her brave, hardworking, stupid joke telling, special partner that has always been at her side as her rock and her biggest fan!"

They looked at each other before they started laughing together, her feline companion wrapped an arm over her shoulders and held her close. Chat liked this, he wanted this; he didn't want to be closed off and reserved again, hiding himself. "Thanks Princess, but I think that honor goes to Alya: The LadyBlogger."

~*~*~Gwennavierre's Part~*~*~

Chat inhales sharply and ponders for a moment, causing Marinette to raise her eyebrows up in curiosity.

"Princess... you want someone who wants someone else. I want someone who wants someone else. We're both alone, but... we don't have to be."

Mari takes a moment to figure out what he's implying before her face turns red and she sputters out, "C-chat! What... we can't... I don't see you in that way! You don't see ME in that way! How could..."

Chat reached out to smooth some flyaway hairs from her face and smiled warmly at her.

"We may not feel that way about each other, but... if I'm honest, I could easily close my eyes and imagine I was with Ladybug, with you. Maybe... maybe you could do the same with me, but for… Adrien...?"

Marinette made an eerily accurate fish impression for a few moments, causing the Cat to let out a laugh that twinged something on the very edge of Marinette's memories. She sighed and looked into Chat's bright green eyes. Her own eyes roamed around his face, up to his messy hair, and back down to his lips...

Could this work? Could using each other in such a way be beneficial to them, or would it only make things worse? She was lonely. Chat was lonely. Only the ones they longed for could ever cure that completely, but...

Marinette looked back into Chat's eyes and smiled, more shyly than she wanted, and slowly nodded her head.

"I..I'm willing to try it, if... if you really want to."

Chat Noir's cat ears perked up and he smiled while shifting closer to Marinette, smirking at the little gasp she made as his arm wrapped around her to pull her into his chest.

"Well then, Princess... I'll let you call me Adrien if I can call you, my lady. What do you say, hmm?" Was he... purring?

~*~*~Gwennavierre's Ending~*~*~

This was sick!

What was wrong with them? Not only were they projecting their unrequited love onto someone else, but they were also calling out the names of said loved ones.

"Oh, Gah Ladybug, I want to make you feel so good!"

From the moment they left her balcony, Marinette and Chat Noir found themselves in Marinette's room, making out on her chaise as she sat in Chat Noir's lap while nuzzling her breasts through her tank. Chat licked Marinette's neck, rubbing her sides until he reached the end of her tank, exposing her breasts. Marinette panted when her shirt was raised showing off her chest; her face was flushed, mouth gaped and rosy, red blush.

Normally Marinette felt very insecure about her bust size, especially compared to Alya, but at this moment she didn't feel that way. Chat began to suck on her perky nipple; giving her left one a tiny pinch while attacking the other. No one has ever touched her like this, and it was amazing! As Marinette looked down at the blonde mess of hair on her chest, she couldn't help but think that this could actually work. If she ignored the cat ears and the feeling of leather around her body, she could easily pretend this was Adrien.

Marinette grabbed his head, fingering his faux ears and blonde locks; she couldn't help herself from taking a sniff. Where has she smelled that shampoo before, it smelled so good! Her downstairs stairs were soaked, and it was getting even worse as Noir kept grinding her down on himself further, pressing his own arousal closer to hers, "Minou…"

He stopped.

Still holding his head in her hands, Chat pulled back, giving her a stern look. He closed his eyes then held up one clawed finger, "Na uh ah, what's my name Ladybug?"

"A-Adr-Adri-" He started back at her torso, placing his face in between her mounds, wrapping his claw around her waist bringing her closer.

"Come on Bugaboo, say it…" Noir dripped honey, nuzzling the side of her face, placing butterfly kisses on top of her breasts, down to her tummy.

Marinette covered her mouth when she suddenly felt tingling as he twisted her nipple in his mouth. Through her nipples, he teased them enough to bring her to a small orgasm. "Adrien!"

Yeah, this was sick…

This sensation was different, but it felt really nice. As Marinette was slowly recovering, Chat had her securely in his arms while she held Noir's head tightly. He still had his face full of Marinette's breasts, squishing them together and rubbing his cheek between them, smoothing her back.

She slowly pulled away feeling a bit embarrassed that he was able to bring her to such a climax with little to no effort. As her breath steadied, Marinette glanced down at Chat Noir who was grinning brightly, obviously very proud at what he had done. She attempted to remove herself from his lap, but he was still very much latched onto her waist, "Um Chat…?"

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Marinette? Are you alright mon cheri?"

'Merde!' Mari shot a look at her trap door then back at Chat who immediately picked her up and sat her down on her feet, she fixed her tank and sprinted to her knees. Before she threw up her latch, Marinette looked back one last time to see that Chat was no longer sitting on her chaise, 'Where the hell did he go? Don't worry about that now!', "Hi Maman!"

"Oh dear, are you okay? I thought I heard you screaming earlier, are you alright? Did you fall off your ladder again?" Sabine was frantic; making sure that Marinette wasn't too injured, knowing about her clumsy daughter.

Marinette summoned her inner Adrien by placing her hand behind her neck, and smiled with a sweat drop, "No Maman, I uh pricked myself with one of my sewing needles. I didn't mean to scream so loud, I'm sorry!" To sell her story, she popped her ring finger in her mouth on her non sewing hand, then showed her mom that there wasn't any blood.

Sabine took hold of Mari's hand and brought her finger to her own lips and gave her a loving, 'feel better' kiss, "Well as long as you're okay, love." Sabine grasped Marinette's head gently and planted a kiss on her forehead, "Don't stay up too late, it's school night…" Then retreated back downstairs.

Marinette let out the breath she was holding as she slowly closed the door, then realized that she still had a loose cat in her room. First, she went to the back of her room, checking behind her shade, nothing. Then she looked under her stairs, nothing. Marinette was beginning to panic a bit, worried that he'd accidentally find Tikki.

"Looking for something?" Asked a voice from above, so he was still in the room. Mari went for her ladder and carefully climbed, not to have her mother come back because she actually fell. Once she reached the top, Marinette was able to see her guest with the help of her fairy lights; Noir was sittin' pretty on his back with his hands behind his neck with one leg over the other.

"So, you 'pricked your finger' huh? Is that what you're calling me now?" Apparently, he was listening, making air quotes as sat up, Chat reached for Marinette, helping her into the bed. Despite Mari's frustration with having shoes on her blankets, Chat pulled her to sit in between his legs.

"No, you know what my name is, right?" Half-lidded, Chat engulfed his princess, imagining that he was tightly holding his lady between his legs. 'If only…'

Ignoring her itch about the shoes, she placed her hands around his neck and settled down, "You know I don't like shoes in the bed, Adrien!" She pouted.

Noir grinned outwardly, he took his left hand and draped a claw over Marinette's arm up to her shoulder, slowly taking the string of her top and putting it in its proper place.

"I'm sorry Bugaboo, let me make it up to you…" He spoke, nestled his face at the base of her collarbone making her gasp.

"H-how?" She had that feeling again; Noir had clasped both sides of her waist, keeping her in that spot.

"It's a surprise, I'll have to bring it over tomorrow night…" He reached around to cup her bottom, which earned him an "eep!" Marinette absentmindedly turned towards her wall quickly scanning her totographs, landing on her favorite one of the real Adrien. Silently asking forgiveness, she sighed then looked back at Chat, "Sure, you can come back."

"'Sure, you can come back'…?"

"'Sure, you can come back' ADRIEN!" She groaned, rolling her eyes. Chat snickered then brought her in close to kiss her tenderly. Marinette had no choice but to melt into his strong embrace; completely forgetting the kerfuffle they had just now.

When air was needed Chat pulled back while Mari was still holding her kissy face, "I'll be back tomorrow night M'lady, okay?"

"Huh? Right, no! I mean yes Chat -er- Adrien, yes nomorrow tight!" Chat laughed again, he leaned forward pressing their brains together.

"Have a good night, Princess Bugaboo," With one quick peck replacing his head, Chat single-handedly leapt up and out her skylight onto her balcony; Marinette crossed your fingers hoping his heavy boots didn't wake the neighborhood. She looked at his previous spot and was surprised to see that there wasn't any dirt on her mattress. Marinette pulled the covers back and was about to tuck herself in when she heard a familiar bell jingle from above.

"Hey…" Chat was back with his head through the skylight.

"Y-yeah?"

"I wuv mew, MariBug." There it was, he said it very plainly, kind of.

"I-I wuv mew too AdriChat…" Marinette rose to her tippy toes to meet Chat Noir in the middle for one last goodnight kiss. Marinette watched his tail flutter behind him before disappearing for the rest of the night. While she was still standing Marinette checked up on Tikki, who was peacefully asleep in her kwami bed. She was unusually quiet the whole night.

'I guess after the spat we had, she felt it was best to leave me alone. That's fine. After the night I had, I wouldn't mind some peace and quiet…'

Finally, under her blankets, Marinette rolled over, got comfortable and placed her phone next to her face.

PING

After what felt like no time at all, the illumination blinded her eyelids. After squinting and turning down the backlight she was able to read the message:

Adrien: Made it home safely, Mon Cher see you tomorrow night. ? ゚メ゙?

Me: Sleep well my husband prince ? ゚メユ?

Me: ? ゚ルナ? Handsome!*

Me: ? Ignore me, goodnight!

Marinette was about to put her phone down when she noticed that the text that came in from "Chat Noir" came in as "Adrien" in her contacts. She laughed at herself, 'Silly kitty must've programmed that in my phone while he was up here.'

Yeah, this was really messed up.
