[Saber]
The palace was quiet as usual but she kept herself entertained as she looked at the fool performing his acts and doing all sorts of tricks for her.
"Tell me, you who are a fool, what's your opinion in all of this. Don't pretend you don't know what I'm asking about" Saber said to the man who stopped his act and touched his hat making the bell he wor ring.
"I may be a fool my king but it seems to me that regardless of what either of you wants the results are the same"
"Nobles both from this land and elsewhere know about your daughter's power, and despite your son being none existent, aqua seems to obey him for she doesn't stray away from him"
The man said to her as he placed a ball on the floor and then proceeded to place two more.
"My king, you can gather men at your side, with your presence alone, it's safe to say that the other you can do the same."
"The issue is that she is not alone not anymore an Emperor that should be dead is now at her side" the fool roled one of the balls onto the other, making the two of them move as one
"The issue is how will the people react to things that are beyond the control of the two of you"
"The elves that are arriving, the dwindling magic of these lands, and the ever-growing discomfort of the people themselves," The man said to her as he rolled the third ball onto the other two making all three chase one another as they rolled.
"Then what would you suggest, if a fool can see it then it must be that simple," Saber said to the man who stood up straight and made a cup of water appear out of nowhere.
"No one expects their king to be perfect, heavens knows he people have seen tyrants and cruel men take the throne, but they all had some connection to those they rule"
"Perhaps you should try the same," the man said before he placed the cup of water on the floor and began to throw the balls into it, making the contents of the cup fly out and brighten the room with flashes of multiple colored lights
"..."
"You're dismissed," Saber said to the fool who immediately stopped his act and walked out the door
She rose from her throne and walked towards a nearby table, she found pen- paper, and ink all waiting for her, she began to write a letter to a lady and her daughter.
She knew them both well enough and they lived nearby, but most importantly of all, they were both barely good enough to be considered acceptable in anything they did.
Saber was aware that gossip would spread, either by the servants or spies, but she was hoping for that, even if she couldn't control the people's gossip, perhaps she could control its outcome.
She walked to a nearby guard and gave him the letter and ordered him to deliver it.
She didn't have to use a guard after all she had people for this, but in doing so she made the letter seem more important than it really was.
Then she walked out of the throne room and began to look for Mordred, at this hour the girl should be either in her room or training, and because there aren't any explosions right now, Saber knew the girl wasn't training.
Saber opened the door that led to Mordred's room and found her playing with a black cat.
The two looked at one another but neither of them said anything to one another.
"Come with me" Saber ordered Mordred and the two were immediately walking towards the castles Tailor.
Saber opened the door and found the woman and several of her helpers all working on clothes for the castles guards.
"I need a dress for Mordred, she is going to begin her training as a lady" Saber announced to everyone in the room
Mordred stood behind Saber unable to move even as Saber turned to look at her.
"Remove your armor" she ordered her...maybe daughter and Mordred did so
"I invited a lady and her daughter, we will begin to learn how to sow and perform the acts of ladies together, yes that means you and I," Saber said to Mordred but she stopped talking when she saw the girls eyes, they were both filled with joy and pain.
saber didn't say anything after that, she just watched as Mordred was measured, how the girl chose red as her main color and gray as her second color she stayed by the girl's side as her dress was mad.
Soon Mordred was wearing a dress similar to the one she was wearing, except it was red, and instead of a white blouse, Mordred wore a gray blouse on top.
She watched as Mordred looked at her chest and for a brief moment, Saber swore the girl was comparing herself to her half-sister.
"They will grow in time girl," the tailor said to Mordred before she went back to working on several more dresses
The two of them walked out of the room and went straight towards a room neither of them ever visited before.
Inside the room was an old man, who smiled at Saber brightly.
"I seek your knowledge, teach the two of us how to act like ladies, I'm far too old for this, but I would at least like to learn the basics, this one needs far more training," Saber said to the old man who shortened the distance between himself and the two of them in an instant.
"Then let us begin," He said to them as he took both of their hands and pulled them into his room
