I growled, "Phase, now." I grabbed Seth roughly by the arm and pulled him away from my mate. We both phased, and Seth cowered below me. My wolf was not having it.

My fucking child? She isn't not even born yet, and you already have your fucking claim on her you sick fuck?- me

Paul! It's not like that at all, I swear! It's like Quil's, I think – Seth

Paul, calm down- Jacob.

I won't fucking calm down Jacob. How would it feel if it was your fucking pup?- me

I thought not. And Seth, that's even more fucking worse! He is abstaining himself like a monk. How do we know that he isn't gonna get attracted to Claire when she gets older ?So, I am asking how the fuck am I supposed to know that you won't do the same thing?- me

Listen to Seth my wolf spirit whispered in my mind. I snapped my jaw at Seth, and he whined. He then showed his belly to me in defenselessness. It only subsided my anger just very slightly because I am still very pissed off. Jacob gave a low warning growl at me.

No, I don't think Seth is trying to say that. Don't villainize the spirits. They mean well. It's not that they don't trust you to take care of the future pups. If it was so, then they wouldn't gave gifted you them. – Jacob

She..she is going to be the next peacemaker…that is what my wolf spirit is saying.. and once she becomes mated, our imprinting bond will be severed because I would already have served my purpose of protecting Evangeline. ..why does she need protection before she meets her mate? Is she going to be in danger that not even I would be enough?- Me

No..its not like that at all, Paul… It makes sense according to history… The peacemaker is always connected with a wolf to ensure her safety since her role is very sacred to the tribe. The third wife was mated to Taha Aki. He was her protector and mate. You are Ale's protector and mate. ..I think due to the righteous deeds as the current peacemaker, the new line of peacemaker will be coming from Ale from this point on..This is what my alpha spirit wolf is explaining to me...Thus, Seth has been chosen to temporarily to protect..uh, Evangeline.. I am not sure why now since Seth has seen Ale various times in her pregnancy. She might have a clue.- Jacob

Sigh. I trust Seth and I am happy that the spirits are going to assign a wolf that I can tolerate to protect my girl, but it is not the life that I would want for her, Alpha.- me

If I hadn't forced a claim on Ale, then she wouldn't have the wolf-like pregnancy that became a clear sign that they are going to become shapeshifters in the future- me

..I honestly don't know Paul. Even if you hadn't forced a claim on Ale, it could probably still be destined since in the future, the supernatural are going to be exposed. You probably just made it to occur more sooner than anticipated.- Jacob

Is it that why, Evangeline is becoming the next peacemaker? The supernatural is going to be exposed, and things are going to change in ways that we the older generations may not possibly understand. However, because the current peacemaker is going to be alive when the supernatural world be exposed, and Ale can help guide Evangeline as the future peacemaker to help transition us to a new era?

Huh, that's pretty clever, Seth.- me

Yes, it makes sense.. we don't know how much of an extent the world is going to change when the supernatural world gets exposed. That is probably why two peacemakers may be needed.- Jacob

Yeah, I feel terrible. Sorry for the short post. I have things going on this weekend as well, so I won't be back until Sunday, and I will provide a much longer chapter on Monday night.

I will be sending a chapter of Sam's return and Paul and Ale's wedding next. Stay tune for that.
