Chapter 61: First Day on Bedrest

Ale's POV:

I woke up on my back. I guess in my sleep, I turned over. My head resting on Paul's arm. Paul sensed that I woke up and he gently pulled me closer to him. He had his hand on my back and I was facing him.

He gave me a kiss, and said, "good morning, hon."

I grinned and kissed him back with "hi."

He chuckled lowly, and he asked with a slight concern, "how do you feel?"

I said honestly, "I feel fine. My eyes feel fine too."

He smiled so brightly that it was so contagious, and I couldn't help to smile as well. He hugged me tightly. He said, "I'm so happy to hear that. I need to go call Quil to tell Old Quil about the news. I'll be right back."

I nodded. I used the swing to slowly help me get up to lay against the bedrest with a pillow for support. Man, these pups are getting heavy. I arched my back to stretch, and I gave a release of breath. I heard my phone going off with a bunch of messages. I turned my look and reached toward my phone that was laid on the nightstand. There were 50 messages and all of them were from a phone number. The first message said,

Hey, this is Embry. Paul gave me your phone number. Tell me which pictures that you want and I will print them.

I was amazed at the numerous photos, so I texted the ones that I liked and said,

Thank you so much Embry. I really appreciate the gift that you are giving us. Is it fine if I share some of these unedited photos to others?

He texted immediately,

Of course, they are your pictures.

I thought to myself Oh, that is true.

I felt Paul coming back on the bed, and I turned to him and said with a smile, "Embry sent me some of the wedding pictures. Do you want to pick the ones you like?"

He purred, "yes." He got closer to me and scanned through the pictures. I texted more the ones that Paul liked that I didn't pick earlier, so Paul can have some of the pictures that he likes too. It seems fair to do that. He kissed me at the cheek and said, "okay, hon. There are a lot of pictures to go through, but we need to eat and get ready for Sue comes to check on you."

I nodded, and when I was about to get off the bed, he asked, "Uh, what are you doing?"

I looked at him, blinked then I realized. OH! I forgot that I am on bed rest.

I said sheepishly, "sorry, I forgot."

He shook his head with a smile and left to grab something in the kitchen. As he was making us breakfast, I took the time to send some of the wedding pictures to Esme, Rosalie, and Alice. All three of them texted back immediately, and I decided to respond to Esme first.

Esme immediately replied,

Thank you, darling. You look lovely with Paul. Pregnancy has treated you well. I look forward to see how beautiful your children will be. Don't hesitate to ask me for help.

I texted in return,

Thank you, Esme. I'll definitely show you pictures of them once they are born. I truly appreciate for your kindness. I hope Renesmee has brought joy to all of your lives.

She texted back,

Renesmee truly brought back my memories of my child in the past. She is a remarkable being, and she truly have brought a new kind of laughter to our coven. It can be tiring to always be hearing Emmett laughing.

I laughed from her text. I never expected Esme to be snarky as the mother role in the coven.

Rosalie texted,

You look amazing, Ale. I bet Paul couldn't take his hands off of you. Now tell me, did you guys do anything for the wedding night. Please tell me you just didn't go to sleep.

I chuckled and texted,

Thanks, Rose. And lol. We did more than just sleep. We did some cosplay and bondage type of sex.

Rosalie texted,

Wow. I am impressed. What happened to that innocent Ale?

I texted,

Oh she is still here, but because I trust Paul, I was willing to get outside of my comfort zone.

Rosalie texted,

Interesting. I know some few things in that department. Me and my Emmett did a lot of things to keep our various wedding nights entertaining. If you need anything, I am glad to give you some suggestions. No one in our family would want to hear them especially Edward. He doesn't want me to tell them to Rosalie.

Wow. I remember Edward commented somewhere in the book and movie that it took decades for the family to tolerate Rosalie and Emmett because they were so 'bad'. I knew what he was referring to, but I didn't realize to that extent. Also, it is typical Edward for him to be complaining about that. Knowing Bella, she would try to do some things to seduce Edward like how she tried during their honeymoon when after the first sex, Edward didn't want to touch Bella.

I texted back,

Oh, thanks Rose. I would keep that in mind. 😊

The text from Alice, it said,

You look AMAZING! I am so glad you got the dress that you wanted. You look gorgeous, I love it that you embrace your natural curly hair, and that dress definitely made you look like a fertility goddess that you are. Paul looks handsome in his button up shirt. I am surprised that you got the wolves to wear clothes.

I replied,

Thank you, Alice. Haha, I didn't even sweat to get Paul to wear clothes. He was gladly to wear them, but the moment he was given the opportunity to take them off, he did take them off.

Before I read her next message, my belly growled loudly, and I felt the babies getting really fussy. I tried to caress my belly to calm them down to no avail. Paul finally came in with a tray of food. My mouth was watering in anticipation, and Paul cracked a smile. We ate in bed, so I guess I will be doing everything in bed from this point on. As I was putting my dress on, Paul brought the living room TV to the bedroom.

Since I was going to be in bedrest, I convinced Paul to watch Star Wars and Harry Potter. I had binged on an 10 episode show in a day, so I can do a movie marathon. Hopefully, this will keep me busy. Finally, Paul said, "Sue is here. I can hear Seth bringing her up to the door."

I nodded as he went to bring Sue to the bedroom. Seth stayed in the living room to let Sue do her work and to not walk into Paul's den. It would make his wolf pissed even if his wolf knows he is an imprint to his pup. Seth is still an unmated wolf. Sue came in with a tired smile, and she said, "How are you doing sweetie?"

I replied, "I am doing well."

She smiled tiredly as she got started with doing her usual checkup. She also went to check my eyes to see how my vision has improved too. Once she was done, she said, "from the looks of how you have grown the past few days, you are 32 and a half weeks along. You are going to be around 37 weeks by the end of the week. Usually, triplets would be born around 34 weeks, but I am confident that you will make it to 37 weeks. I will me amazed if you make it to 40 weeks. Now that we are getting close to your due date. What kind of birth you want to have? Of course, natural, but do you want them to have a home water birth or be born at the clinic."

Oh. I haven't thought about that. I said, "I am okay with both options. What does your wolf suggest?"

I glanced at Paul, and he said, "We..would like it if Ale gives birth here.."

Sue clasped her hands together and said cheerily, "no problem. I can get Seth to bring the materials to the house, and books on how to prepare for the water birth."

I nodded and said, "thank you, Sue."

She smiled warmly, "Not a problem, sweetie. I will ask for the weekend off so that I could be on call and ready whenever you start experiencing your Braxton-Hicks contractions."

I said, "okay."

Paul said, "thanks Sue.."

She nodded to Paul and said, "congrats again for having your wedding ceremony and recovering your sight, Ale. May the spirits continue to bless you."

She left with Seth. Paul went out to talk to Seth, and Paul came back. He said, "Seth is going to come tomorrow to bring everything that we need, and he'll be with you for an hour or two while I go to the store to stock up. Imma be showing you my cooking skills."

I said genuinely, "I can't wait for that."

He got on the bed, and he kissed me passionately on the lips. We made love again, and this time I went on a reverse cowgirl position with the swing helping me bounce on top of Paul. It was an interesting experience. Nevertheless, Paul couldn't keep his hands off of me. He actually poured sprinkles on my body and ate it off as he cleaned me off in his partial phase form. He also stretched me again in preparation for the birth of the pups. It gotten easier for Paul to stretch me, and this time, he was able to thrust in and out with his fist. Paul was insatiable. He wrapped me up in a cocoon on the floor as he changed the bedsheets since it was drowned with sprinkles, cum, and seeds of fruit when Paul's wolf would hand feed me.

He changed the sheets, and we spent the rest of the day going through a movie marathon. Paul did keep his word that he is going to make the days before the pups are born interesting, and I can't imagine what he is going to do next.

Author's Note:

So, I am faring better than I anticipated. I still do have my migraines, but it is from the change of weather this time. It is bit frustrating, but I am hanging in there. Sorry if this chapter is short. It is a bit of a filler's chapter.

If anyone had seen, I had created a new story, but I won't neglect this story. That is why I am sending out the next chapter together with this one today.
