Zen shot another succumbs in the head as walked down the hall.

"36, not bad." Zen exclaimed.

"Did you have to use hotshot rounds? Like yeah it's cool but if Zavala saw this, he would arrest you for a war crime." Ghost scolded, looking at the mutilated and burnt bodies of demons.

"No, but there not humans. And you know our job. We kill threats to humanity. There is not angel to save us. To save me. It's only us that can save ourselves." Zen said bitterly.

"Zen. Please don't get upset. The past is In the past. You can't change what occurred. Besides, you have me now!" Ghost exclaimed with a face that would be grinning if it had a mouth.

"What are they?"

"I don't know? Demons?" Zen looked at ghost as if he had grown a second head.

"Ha, demons. The only demon I know is the hive."

As zen walked towards the elevator on the other side of the hall, he heard a whimper from behind him. He looked at the direction of the sound and saw a incubus still alive on the floor, shaking.

His arm was melted off, thanks to Zen's hot shots. He tried to crawl away, only to be grabbed from the back of his shirt, and picked up by Zen.

"Can you talk?" Zen asked through his helmet.

"Ye-yes, yes!" The incubus stuttered, from both fear and pain.

"Well I have a question. What are you?"

"I can't tell you! Lucifer would kill m-" the incubus was cut of by Zen placing a icy knife on the incubus's neck. His stasis powers seemed to be even more powerful here, as Zen noticed.

"Do you think that I won't kill you?" Zen said quietly.

"Alright!-gah!-were a species from hell call succumbs and incubus." The incubus exclaimed.

"Huh, guess you were right, ghost. And what's your purpose?" Zen asked.

"We'we go to earth to seduce humans. We take there energy, often resulting in some humans going to hell." The incubus sputtered.

At this Zen heard enough, making his judgment call.

"So your a parasite on humanity." Zen stated

Zen then begin dragging the incubus with no effort, towards the nearest window.

"Can your species survive a 22 story fall?" Zen asked.

At this the incubuses eyes widened, and began begging for his life.

"Wait! I can tell you where my BOSS IS! HES ON THE HIGHEST FLOOR DONT KILL ME!"

Zen ignored his cry for help, throwing the incubus at the window. The window shattered, with the incubus screaming, falling down, before a splat could be heard from below.

"Thanks for the information." Zen stated, his final destination now being the 37 floor.

"You didn't have to kill him." Ghost exclaimed.

"They were a threat to humanity, like I said before. Besides, it's not like they have families, or shit." Zen muttered.

"Sir, we have to leave! That-that THING! Is killing us like we're flies." A Imp screamed. "He isn't going to show mercy. He kills anyone in his path.

"I'll open the portal, you go and get the hound. I doubt that a puny human could kill a hell hound."

Zen kept on walking up the stairs, facing no resistance. It seemed that those demons got the memo of staying away from him. That however didn't make them safe.

"DECAP!" Zen shouted. His modified skyburner made another clinking noise. "Time to test out this mode."

His radar showed him multiple hostile in a room on the 28 floor, the same floor that he was on at the moment. As Zen walked around the small hallway, he noticed some bags of white powder lying around.

"Ghost, what is this?" Zen asked, picking up the packet.

"It appears to be coke."

"Alright, put this away." Zen muttered, the bag disappearing into thin air. "I'll have some for later."

Zen then walked towards a door, his radar getting brighter, signifying more hostiles. He stopped at the side of the wall, next to the door.

Zen then took out another flash bang, crouching down and quietly tossing it into the room.

"What was that?" Someone inside the room whispered.

"Death." Zen said, before the flash bang went off.

As everyone inside the room were blinded, Zen went inside. The room itself had a bunch of tables and some chemical equipment, probably to create drugs.

He aimed his gun at an Imp in the corner who was holding a pistol, shooting it blindly. Zen aimed for his head and shot his gun.

The result was instantaneous. The Head and top part of his chest was shredded into bits and pieces of meat and gore. Blood was splattered across the floor and wall. The Only thing intact on the Imp was the bottom part of his chest and belly, with his legs still intact.

Zen then aimed it at another demon, the result being the same as before, a decapitated, bloody mess.

One demon however wasn't as effected as the others. An Imp jumped on Zen from behind, hoping to get the drop on him.

However Zen held out his left hand and grabbed the demon by the throat-midair. Zen then with brought his gun with his other hand, aiming right above the crotch area. He shot his weapon, creating another bloody mess. The Imps lower limbs fell right off. Some of his intestines were hanging, with the Imp shuddering before Zen dropped him on the ground.

Zen turned to the other demons, aiming at a demon standing behind a flipped table.

"Click!"

'Oh shit.' Zen thought before the same demon he tried to kill took out its shotgun and aimed right at him.

Zen dived into cover, behind a concert wall. He began reloading his weapon.

"Why are you hiding? You can take the shots!" Ghost exclaimed.

"I need to practice avoiding damage. This is a good Time to do so." Zen explained before leaning to his left and aiming his gun at the table where the demon was standing. He shot it and the bullets penetrated the wood before tearing the demons legs off.

However now all the demons in the room were shooting at him. Zen created a void grenade, before throwing it above his cover.

"GRENADE!" A demon shouted. However it was too late. It's Void bubble burnt the demons in horrific ways, never to see the light of day again.

Zen stepped out of cover, looking around the room for information.

"Seems to be a drug house. Maybe these demons were creating drugs to sell?" Zen asked ghost.

"I don't know, all we ever did was kill, kill and kill." Ghost muttered.

"Well, let's just burn this all." Zen said before adding. "HOTSHOT!" The made a clicking noise and Zen shot a couple rounds into the floor and tables. As Zen walked away, the room slowly got hotter and hotter, lighting up with the fire spreading.

As Zen approached the stairway he was suddenly tackled by someone. Or something to be more specific. As he rolled around, he kicked the creature from behind, and the 2 separated. Zen jumped up and regained his ground before looking at the creature.

The creature looked like a cross between a human and a wolf of sorts. More specifically a-

"Warewolf!" Zen exclaimed. However that just seemed to piss the warewolf off as he snared.

"I'm a hell hound you dumb fuck!" The hellhound exclaimed.

"Oh? Does the doggy want the treat?" Zen said, Mocking the hound.

"Mother fucker!" The hound snarled before jumping, trying to bounce on Zen. His jaw was wide open, anticipating to clamp down on the human.

Zen however had none of that. He grabbed the hellhound's jaw with both hands, holding its jaws open.

"Stay still, please?" Zen said before pulling the mouth open with his hands. As Zen continued to open up the hounds mouth, a slight tearing noise could be heard, with the hellhound screaming, before a massive rip occurred. The hellhound dropped down, it's jaw stretched to morbid propositions.

Zen wiped the blood from his helmet, before walking back to the stairs.

The remaining demons, Imps and succumbs/incubuses pointed there guns at the front door entrance. The room was a large office with a small desk in the middle of the room.

It was probably the prettiest room in all of the run down building. However in a few moments, it would be the most empty room as well.

"Where is the fu-hrck!" An Imp was cut off, a stasis withering blade cutting his head off. His body froze instantly before falling down and breaking apart in thousands of pieces.

Everyone else shot at the door, trying to get there unseen assailant.

"STOP SHOOTING! Your going to run out bullets.!" Salvan shouted. However it was too late. Everyone's guns made clicking noises.

Zen walked into the room calmly, before conjuring his stasis revenant super. Right before he threw his stasis pickaxe, everyone in the room felt a sense of dread. Cold and unfeeling dread. In that small moment, they truly realized how insignificant they were.

Then, they felt nothing.

A day later.

Gabriel approached the building, tracking down the human to this place. As she got closer to it, she immediately noticed something wrong.

On her right, just before the entrance to the building, there was a red lump. As she got closer she saw that it was an incubus. She soon went inside to investigate further. What she saw shocked her a little. Multiple bodies were lying around. Burn marks with cooked blood and limbs were scattered across the stairs. While she have commanded exterminators every once in a while, this was far worse, and seemingly brutal.

As she walked up each floor, seeing more bodies mutilated in different ways, she finally came across the top floor. Yet, out of all the floors, it was the top floor that was the cleanest. There was no blood. No detached limbs. No bodies. Only gunshots marks on the walls.

Gabriel left the building and began flying a little with her wings, trying to find the human before he left again. As she looked around at the empty fields, trees and roads, she spotted a person walking down the road.

"Found him." Gabriel said to no one.

Zen walked in his casual clothes, a day had passed since the fight. Or in his case, an exercise.

"Ghost? Where are we at the moment?" Zen asked.

"Near the border of Pennsylvania." Ghost responded.

"OH, that reminds me. Why don't I see the old cities like I used to back when I was alive, before I died and you resurrected me?" Zen exclaimed.

"Zen, there's someone behind you." Ghost muttered quietly.

Zen turned around to see a tall women looking right at him with a silent expression.

She wore a strange suit/general like suit with shoulder pads on her shoulders. Her suit itself contained white and blue colors, and nothing more. She also wore simple but fancy black pants, with 4 buttons on its front.

She had flowing golden blonde hair and her skin was unnaturally white. Her face had the definition of angelic beauty. However for a moment, Zen swore that her hands changed from claw like to human like.

"Oh hello there ma'am." Zen exclaimed.

"Who where you talking to?" Gabriel asked.

"Uh-uhhhhh, I was just thinking out loud." Zen stated before walking away.

"Anyway, nice meeting you." Zen muttered waving his hands at her before turning around.

Gabriel watched the human walk away. Even though she didn't know how the human looked in his armor, his presence was enough to tell her that this was him. He radiated Light everywhere.

Gabriel was tempted to just capture him then and there and take him to heaven, but Galim had told her to watch him from afar.

Making her mind, she decided to follow him.
