He had been at this for a while now. For about a century, he had been searching, body after body, never truly finding his Guardian.

He used to be part of a group of ghosts, like a sparrow gang, as humans called it. But even they slowly drifted apart, with each one finding their own guardians. So now, it was just himself.

And that led to him going straight to the cosmodrome. While some ghosts and guardians might argue about such a reckless decision, he just knew that without a guardian, he was practically useless. So what use was he really without a guardian of his own.

"Oh God, I'm I getting depressed?" Ghost muttered to himself. He continued scanning each body, and car, not expecting anything new to occur. However at that moment he sensed something.

On the other side of the car wreckage, past the shadow of the giant broken wall, lied a single body of a soldier, slumped against the car. He felt his signature increase, feeling light radiating from that direction.

"Could it be?" He whispered to himself.

He quickly began zooming towards the body and scanned it frantically, to find that it was-

"False alarm." He muttered in disappointment. He turned away from the body in a lazy manner, with his shell looking down, too tired to think.

Except, he still felt the same signature. He turned around, before going back to the dead soldiers body. He began flying over the body and began heading towards the edge of the Clift, where a highway road was destroyed. As he finally flew over the edge, he looked down, before spotting a single body lying in the distance. A skeleton laid down on the dirt ground, slightly covered by vines and leaves, almost as if hiding it from the world.

'Could this be?' Ghost thought to himself shakily.

He slowly floated down to the body, inspecting it a little bit. The skeleton appeared to be wearing a regular t-shirt with a pair of pants. However the most prominent thing was the cut in his shirt, and the knife next to its body.

"What happened here?" Ghost muttered before forgetting the thought immediately.

As he scanned the body, he suddenly felt the connection. THIS WAS IT. He felt his mind go into overtime, like a human on adrenaline. He pulsed his light, before finally flashing, and making a permanent bond.

As he stopped pulsing with light, he looked down on his soon to be guardian. Only to be slightly surprised.

It was a male human, but he appeared to be slightly young, as if he was approaching adulthood. He slowly got up and sat, looking around like for a moment, not noticing ghost yet. Time to introduce himself.

"Hello, I've been looking for a long time for-" ghost began excitedly.

"Mama?"

Ghost immediately stopped his speech, seeing the young human tear up.

"Where baba? Where I'm I?" He muttered, slowly getting more and more scared at the moment, not recognizing where he was at. Almost as if he remembered his previous life.

"Oh shit" Ghost muttered, realizing the situation he was in.

A quick peek at Zen's backstory. He was about 15, turning 16 when he was resurrected. Also the area in which this takes place is the cosmodrome, in the first area our guardian wakes up.
