Chapter 76: Jake's Invitation to a Date with Leah

Leah's POV:

Today, it is Jake's GED Exam. He has been studying hard these past few days with Quil and Embry. I have no doubt that he would pass. Even though he hated school, once he put his mind into something, he'll gets it done. It has been two hours since Jake got out of the exam. I was giving him time before I call him to a date. Thankfully, Mom and Seth are both out of the house. It would've been chaotic if they were. I took a big release of breath, and I finally called Jake.

He picked up immediately, and he shouted, "Leah!"

I said, "yeah?"

He said excitedly, "I passed!"

I smiled softly, "Good. I knew you would pass. Do..you have any plans tonight?"

He grew silent, "No.."

He asked curiously, "what's up?"

"..do you want to go on a date later on today to celebrate?"

"of course."

"Okay, then I see you at 6?"

"Sure!"

"Alright. See you then."

I hanged up on Jacob. That went well. I still have few hours left. I can start cooking for me and Jacob. I need to cook something that is easy to carry around, but also it won't make a mess. I can make burgers. All I need to do is season the ground beef. I can put the vegetables and cheese inside individual contains. I just need to buy burger buns.

Perfect. Many people think I don't know how to cook, but having parents who are in the council, I always had to help them out whenever they do something for the community. It took some time, but I eventually figured out how to cook decently. I am not totally hopeless in the kitchen like the guys assumes that I am.

I had everything ready, and I put it in three baskets. I still had an hour left before I had to go see Jacob. I would put a little effort on my appearance. Since I am letting my hair grow, I can put hair spray to give it more volume. Then, I can wear nice shorts with a white blouse. White looks good with my complexion, and I bet it would drive his wolf into a frenzy. Since white is usually associated with innocence (which I am totally not), I can tease him and his wolf a little. Should I wear a bra or not?

Hmm. Ah, fuck it. Let me go without one, and see how much he can last without touching him

Yes! Let mate desire us! My wolf spirit exclaimed happily.

I smirked along with my wolf spirit, and I decided to put on brown flats. I got used to walking barefoot around the forest whenever I phase and stuff, but I want to wear comfortable shoes for once. I checked the time, and shit. I got 15 minutes before I need to pick up Jacob. I hurriedly put the food in dad's old truck. I speed toward Jake's house.

He was kicking some rock by the road, and when he heard me coming, he turned around and gave me a big grin. He was wear white button-down shirt and jeans with brown sandals. His shirt was half-way open, and his pants looked very tight on him that it showed his bulge in his pants. He never wore pants like that before. He likes comfort more than anything, so he must've got it from someone. From the looks, he is doing the same thing that I am trying to do to him.

Fine. Game on.

My wolf spirit purred excitedly in my mind, but I didn't pay attention to her. Let's see who will be the first one to give in. I pulled up to his side. I turned the window down, and I decided to put up a façade, so I said, "hey hon. You need a ride? Just tell me where, and I can very safely take you where you need to go."

He looked so dumbfounded that I could see the obvious pending on his face. It seems like he finally catches on what I was doing, so he said with fake falsetto voice, "no, thank you. I can manage on my own."

Spirits. I can't believe I even said that. I don't know guys think this is attractive because it sounds so creepy and predatorial.

I said simply, "okay" and I drove past him. I was watching him by the side mirror, and I saw his expression falling just slightly into a confused expression. I slammed my breaks when I was just few yards away from him. I turned the window down, so I shouted, "get in! you think I was just going to ditch you like that?"

His expression brightened instantly, and when he ran to get on to the passenger seat. He said growling playfully, "you're so going to pay for that."

In a fake scared voice with a hand to my mouth, I said, "oh, I'm so scared."

He grinned devilishly, "sure, sure."

I chuckled lowly. Jacob said hesitantly, "so..where are we going?"

I said casually, "we're going to the cave"

He echoed incredibly, "the cave?"

I said, "yes, the cave."

My heart was racing when I admitted that I am taking him to the cave. However, I tried to be cool-headed and firm in my expression. Once we got close to the cave, I parked the truck. I made Jacob to help me bring the rest of the stuff for dinner. The cool breeze of the ocean felt really nice on my skin, and we got occasional splash from the waves, but I didn't mind. With our high temperature, we are going to be dry.

Yesterday, I brought the picnic table that he made down to the cave, and I made Seth to help me set up. He couldn't stop grinning the whole time that he helped me. I had to threaten that if he tells anyone or even think about it in the pack mind, I will tell everyone all the embarrassing stories from his childhood and broadcast in the pack mind. That got him to shut up. Nevertheless, I know he was happy for me deep down.

I made Jacob to lay down on the mattress as I set things up on the picnic table, and I lit up candles in the cave. Even though we don't need it due to our heightened vision, I thought it was still be helpful and to set the mood. I hand motioned Jacob to sit down on the table. He came to the table with a mysterious expression.

He said, "this looks really nice, Leah."

I asked, "yeah?"

He nodded, so I said, "go ahead and serve yourself."

We put a huge mountain of burgers on our plate. He was moaning and inhaling on his burgers. I felt gaze on me as he was eating. I could see that he was eyeing on my cleavage. Some of the water from the waves splashed my shirt, so you could see my nipples through the white shirt. His face turned slightly red, and his eyes dilated but he looked away as he continued to inhale his burgers. I also was eyeing him. I knew he put more of his cologne than usual, and it made my wolf spirit purr in excitement. His bulging muscles were seen from his tight shirt. I was gazing at his shoulder and seeing how each part of his muscle clench every time he moves. I started feeling lustful, and I forgot that I was staring at him, and he caught me staring at him.

He chuckled lowly, "you don't have to steal glances. You can look at me as much as he want."

It sounds very arrogant, but coming from him, I loved it. However, I didn't want to show it, so I said casually, "okay."

He had a hidden smile, but he kept on eating. We ate in silence, but there was very clear sexual tension in the air. One more move, then someone is going to bend, but it won't be me. I won't be that easy.

My wolf spirit growled lowly to me Don't be so hard to catch! We already made him chase after us. This is just being mean.

Perhaps.

Then, I felt his feet rubbing against my toes. I froze. I wasn't sure what to think of this, but I let him continue to play footsie with me. I actually sort of liked it. Once we were done. We had my hands laid across the table, and Jacob slowly paced his huge hands over mine. My face turned slightly pink, and I felt him caressing gently my hands.

I said without looking at his face because I didn't want to see his expression, "so..I took you out tonight not only treat you for passing your GED, but.. I..want to go on a next level in our relationship with you Jake, so I brought you here to this cave so we can do a claiming ceremony as a demonstration..of my willingness to be fully united with you. I want to life both the end of my physical and spiritual life with you Jake, and I can't see myself with anyone else, but you. I want you Jake, and it will always be you no matter what happens to us in the future."

My voice was cracking slightly, "I-I know..I made things hard and made you wait for a very long time, but..I love that you gave me the space to get my head and life together, and I love you for that Jacob."

I got up and sat beside from him. I turned my body facing him, and I looked at him directly in his eyes.

I said confidently, "I love you Jacob, and I want to continue to love you more each day as your mate. I know I can be a pain in the ass at times, but I want to be your pain in the ass just as your mine too. Can you accept my consent to do the claiming ceremony?"

He didn't say anything, but he leaned forward to kiss me. His kiss was very slow and sensual. He was feeling me out and taking his time to enjoy the kiss. I kiss him back just as the same.

He said, "Leah, you don't have to earn your place to be my mate and to do the claiming ceremony with me. I accepted you from the very beginning. I was waiting for you to accept yourself just as how I see you. I already gave you my consent since the first date that we had together. I want to live my physical and spiritual life with you, and I can't see myself with anyone but you. What you said, it means so much to..us. I-I was not expecting this from you. Thank you, Leah my mate."

He had both of his hands on my face, cradling me. He was looking at me with so much love, passion, and trust that my eyes were tearing up. I knew what I said to him touched his heart too because his eyes were teary as well. I leaned forward to kiss him on his cheeks, down to his throat. I gave a kiss to the spot where I will be claiming him, and he growled in anticipation. He had his hands around my waist, and I felt one of his hands going under my shirt from the back.

I whispered seductively behind his ear, "let go, Jacob. Show me what you and your alpha wolf spirit made of."

Tears. I made this chapter a bit sentimental. How do you like Leah's interaction with Jacob? Is it okay?

Next chapter will be pretty smutty. I will post that one probably by Wednesday night or Thursday night the latest. This next chapter will take a lot of creativity since they both are wolves. I haven't done a chapter like this before. They are going to claim each other, so it is sort of like a double claiming ceremony? Jacob to Leah as Leah does one to Jacob too. If that makes sense.
