AN: In this fanfiction I've decided that Spirits can indeed have children, but only if they have bonded a part of their soul to a mortal race. That part resulting in the birth of a child that is a Half-Spirit. In this story Aiz and Bell will both be Half Spirits.

Bell was balancing one of his new knives on his index finger. He grinned as he tossed it up and swung the same hand to catch it. He then twirled it in his hand let if fly with a snap of his wrist.

The throwing knife went straight into a training dummy. Bell nodded as he walked up to it and pulled it out. The five Adamantite throwing knives from the Royal Factory were really something else. They were black with a red lightning bolt painted on, with the hilt being wrapped in white leather. The set was given the name Raudan Elding.

Bell had been instructed that the Mithril turned out to be enough for a second project that Alfrigga wanted to try with Bell. She told him that she coated the knife's light bolt design with Mithril. She wanted him to use it with his Lightning Incarnate magic to extend his range. She had known that Bell could guide the knives trajectory with it. But, with the Mithril coating. They would also stun the target and deal minor lightning damage.

What neither of them knew was that it unlocked a new skill. This excited Freya who was delighted in updating his status over anyone else's.

Magic

{Lightning Incarnate} "I race across the sky. Bouncing from Cumulus to Nimbus, and plunge from Stratus. Terra Firma shatters when I land. Mine is the last sound you'll hear. I am, Lightning Incarnate. " (The user's Dexterity and Agility dramatically increase; drawing on the Falna of their ancestors. Their body produce a blue aura that is reminiscent of lightning. And their touch stuns most targets. The time the stun lasts varies depending on the Magic Basic Ability.)

{Soul Fire} "Wood and oil fuel the fire of the world. But, your trust fuels the fire in my heart. Soul Fire!" (The user activates the magic of those that trust them. Using it for themselves.)

Skill

{Liaris Freese} Fast growth as long as the feeling lasts. The strength of the effects corresponds with the level of the user's feelings. As a side effect, it makes the user immune to charms.

{Wolpertinger} The user can decrease their Defense basic ability and put it in Strength or Agility. The user can use the skill for three minutes. As a side effect, the user's Mind replenishes slightly after each use. The skill has a ten minute recharge.

{Smite} The user can give Mithril weapons an electric charge. The greater the charge the more Dexterity they lose. The Dexterity will replenish itself. The skill can make Mithril weapons look like lightning bolts.

{Hött} Hött enables the user to temporarily be able to use the development ability Throw Artist when they are wielding a small throwing weapon. The effects are dependent on their level.

Bell was currently in the Dungeon on the 6th floor. He was in a four person party practicing for the Wargame.

Ottaria had decided the formation for each party would be one Supporter, one Andhrímnir, one Einherjar and one Valkyrie. Bell's current party was himself, Anya, Aphrodessa and Lily. Lily was recently converted by the Guild. A member of theirs used a rare magical item, Status Eliminator, that expunges one's Falna completely. The Guild uses it in rare cases in which an Adventurer feels abused by their Familia or Deity to relieve them from their current situation.

Lily was a brand new Supporter for the Freya Familia. Who would later receive training in the Andhrímnir to better serve the Familia.

Bell spun one of his knives and hurled it at a War Shadow, "Smite!"

Red lightning raced through the air surrounding the throwing knife. The Kobolds that were near the War Shadow were set ablaze by the sparks. And the War Shadow skid back from the impact.

Lily cheered with shimmering eyes, "Amazing Master Bell!"

Tabitha sat in front Freya and held the box that she tried to deliver earlier in the week. Freya had heard about the story from the child of Hermes, 'Honestly, what am I going to do to Alfrigga's brothers?'

Tabitha presented the box with a smile, "God Hermes tasked me finding Bell Cranel. He spoke very highly of him."

Freya accepted the box, "As Bell's Goddess, I accept it on his behalf."

She opened it and was surprised to say the least. Inside was a topaz in the shape of a 12 pointed star. It was possibly the rarest item that Mystery could produce, Star of Sight. Only an Adventurer with Mystery at S could create this magic item. A use once item that allowed one to see similar souls.

Freya looked Tabitha in the eye and asked, "Are you aware that what you've just given me could buy every Casino in Orario and still have enough pocket change to buy a medium sized country?"

Tabitha giggled as she closed an eye while sticking her tongue out, "Curiosity did get the best of this kitten. But, no. I did not."

Freya then asked her next question, "What does expect to happen?"

Tabitha leaned back shrugging her shoulders, "All I know is when the boss is away. This kitty likes to play at the craps table. But, God Hermes says that Bell is going to be the Hero that will bring peace to the world."

Freya looked Tabitha and spoke threateningly, "Tell you drifter of a God, that if my Bell is harmed by his whims. That he would not like the results."

Bell looked at the dazzling gem and asked Freya, "What does it do again?"

Freya looked it over quizzically, "My understanding is that it will let you see similar souls. So, if you soul is special. Which it is. You'll see similar souls. Diamonds like yours."

Bell nodded as he touched. His mind reeled as the gem shattered into powder. Bell looked down trembling in fury.

Bell tried to calm down as he asked Freya, "Freya, do you mind if we go on a trip?"

Freya smiled, "I could use a vacation."

AN: And that about does it. I plan on doing a short time skip. Stuff that'll be mentioned in passing fir a three week peroid. Bell and Freya's vacation will add a new member to the crew. The Wargame is supposed to have a one month training period. So, this little timeskip will resume at the Wargame.
